Lightroom Classic

Bonjour,Suite mise à jour nouvelle version Lightroom Classic 15.2.1 lorsque j’ouvre Lightroom, la mise à jour du catalogue pour nouvelle version est impossible.Message :"Lightroom a rencontré des problèmes lors de la mise à jour du format du fichier de catalogue. Ce catalogue ne peut plus être utilisé dans cette version de Lightroom". Quelle est la solution pour mettre à jour ce catalogue et pouvoir utiliser Lightroom avec la dernière version. Merci

I tried to create a new folder called Various inside Photographs/2000’s/00. However Lightroom created a new instance of the Synology SharePoint folder (Photo) and place it there? It did however create the new folder in the correct location on the NAS. The only change to my setup that I can see is the different ip address for the NAS. 

Hi, I’ve had a Hard Drive failure and thankfully my backups were good, all except the most recent shoot. However this was still on my 2nd card in the camera so I have the original raw files. Is there a way other than manually locating each file and then renaming it to the filename it has in Lightroom that I can reinstate the files? Lightroom has the original filename in the metadata for each image, but I’d quite like to use the new names as those are the ones my clients are referencing when requesting edits.

I just updated both Lightroom Classic and Photoshop to the latest versions. After the update, the ‘edit in Photoshop’ option is greyed out.It worked before the update, as I used the feature just before updating, and found out that I hadn’t updated Photoshop and henceforth couldn’t use Generative fill.Updated both Lightroom Classic, Photoshop and Camera Raw, and now the ‘edit in Photoshop’ is greyed out.Does anyone have a solution to this.The files are all stored locally on my PC, and have not been moved during all this When Lightroom finished updating, I noticed that I was going from Lightroom 12 to Lightroom 13, and there was a promt to transfer my catalog to the new version. I did this and then opened Lightroom, and now the edit in Photoshop command is greyed out and not working

Hi. After updating LR 15.1.1 to version 15.2.1, I can't use mask copying or templates using AI masks. I had an OS crash and all my apps had to be reinstalled.  Now when trying to import photos I am not getting the option to import to a collection like I used to.  It’s a different screen layout.  See screenshot.  Anyone know what happened to that option?  It used to show up on the righmost panel of the screen, with an option to create a new collection if needed.  Thanks.   

I have just bought Lightroom Classic, and when I try to open a raw file in it, there is a modal dialog telling me that Lightroom will automatically sync my files with the cloud. The only option it gives me, is “ok” … but the thing is that I only want my images to be on my computer hard disk and no where else!I HATE having all your cloud solutions shoveled down my throat. I didn’t ask for a TB in your cloud, and I dont intent to use it at all, but I was never given the opportunity to say no thank you!Now I am not sure if I can use your product at all, without having you guys uploading my entire foto collection to your cloud? What the feck happened to good old concent here? Why isn’t this an opt-in possibility, or at least give us a chance to opt it out, for crying out loud? 😠

LightRoom Classic 15.2 build: 202602111402-ec4112e8Only this release has a fast memory leak in the graphics card memory (Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB).  It  uses up almost all the memory just exporting 8 files to Tif to be edited in PTGUI Pro that also uses graphics memory and crashes repeatedly until exiting LRC, and that fixes the problem.However it is not efficient to have to close LR every time I export files to either Photoshop or PTgui Pro.Lightroom Classic 15.2build: 202602111402-ec4112e8MS Win 11 Prov: 10.0.26200 Build 26200x-64 based PCASUS motherboard Proart z790-creator wifi96GB memoryGraphics: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GBC: drive has 495 GB free.Lightroom database and photo collection on 2 other drives has always run smoothly.Kind regards from Hans

I noticed some of one of my lightroom folders had only 20 photos when the number is showing 400. So I verified that they are all in the folder on drive. So I tried to re-import but it shows all greyed out and I cannot select them. In fact it says the photos have already been imported. They are not corrupted or missing as there is no error icon on them. But yet, they are not showing in library view. I saw advice to find old catalog but I am am not sure how and which one even to try with. Either way, I have bunch of edits and do not want to lose all those edits. How can I remedy this? My LR version is 15.1.1 

Somehow, unknown to be how, I ended in Proof Mode. I cannot exit from it. The top level menu shows Perceptual/Relative mode of Proof Copy. I just want to exit it. How do I do that?

My cat walked on my keyboard and now every time I edit a photo I'm asked if I want to save it as a proof. How do I get out of this mode? Thanks!

On Lightroom Classic 15.2.1 Mac OS 26.3.1, I’m experiencing problems with exporting my photos. I’m running a Mac Studio M4 2025 with 64BG RAM.With the latest version of Classic, I am sometimes able to export photos as usual, whether using the “Export...” dialog box or using a preset. However, mostly, the feature slows down so much that it is barely usable.If I select a preset, the exported image takes something like 30 seconds to appear on the HD. If I try using “Export...”, the Export dialog box takes about 30 seconds to open and then takes another 30 seconds for the exported file to appear on the HD.I have tried this on old and new photos and DNG and JPG photos taken with different cameras - the same problem happens - sometimes it works, and but mostly export occurs very slowly.I’ve never experienced such issues before. It appears to only have appeared with the latest update (15.2.1).Thanks

When you change the year in Metadata > Edit Capture Time to before 2001, the milliseconds goes negative and one is added to whatever value you enter for seconds.  This is likely related to the Cocoa timestamp epoch of 1/1/2001.  If instead you change the year to 2018, the milliseconds gets decremented by one (also incorrect). To reproduce on LR 15.2 / Mac OS 26.2: 1. Open the attached tiny catalog. 2. Select the photo and do Metadata > Edit Capture Time. 3. Click in the year and type 2019 (quickly, to avoid another Edit Capture Time bug).  Observe that the milliseconds field stays at 22 (correct). 4. Click cancel, do Edit Capture Time, click in the year, and type 2018. Observe that the milliseconds field gets changed to 21 (incorrect) 5. Click cancel, do Edit Capture Time, click in the year, and type 2001. Observe that the milliseconds field gets changed to 21 (incorrect). 6. Click cancel, do Edit Capture Time, click in the year, and type 2000. Observe that the milliseconds field

System: Windows 11 (25H2). Lightroom shows all pictures but doesn’t open them. Importing new images is totally impossible.

When viewing a film strip which is filtered to only show flagged image if I click on the flag to "unpick" the selected image and then click on the next image that image is also unpicked. It's a little complicated to explain but the attached video shows it happening and it's very easy to duplicate using these steps:Set the pick flag on multiple imagesGo to Develop Filter only so only images with the flag are displayedSelect an imageClick the flag on the thumbnail to remove it from the filtered listQuickly click on another thumbnailA second image will be removed (UNDO will return it)It seems like the time it takes for the preview for the next image that's automatically displayed when the last image is filtered out is the window for when a click on a thumbnail means the 2nd image will also lose it's flag.I believe it's a bug, it's been happening for quite a few versions now but I've posted in discussion as per the preferred method of reporting. I am scanning a significantly large number of 35mm slides. The slides are stored in boxes and individual slide clips. To identify the location of the original slide, I am entering the box number, clip # and slide # of each slide in the source field (IPTC Status section). Example: Box 4 Clip#32 Slide 20. I would like to be able to search for slides by the source field. The metadata filters do not include a search for source. Can I add this field to the metadata filters? I can enter the information in the Label field which is a filter in the metadata search,  however it adds a white label icon to the photo which can easily be unchecked and then the search is lost. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you,Ruth Goodman 

LR 15.2,  Windows 11 up to date,  Geforce RTX 3060 with latest studio driver, latest Epson driverIt happens many times (not always) when printing on large paper (A2 42x59 cm) at  300 or 360 dpi that LR crashes during printing, just before sending data to the printer. The GPU was set to inactive in the preferences (see screen shot)attached zip file containing 2 screen shots and the error dump produced by LRThis error is really annoying, please helpThanks

Since updating to LrCC 15 yesterday (Windows 11), I find my workflow much slower. Both the library and develop modules are slower, photos taking a long time (a couple of seconds) to paste settings in the develop module (despite LRCC receiving the input to paste immediately, the effects take a few seconds to apply to the image - this is true across both my Phase One tiff/raw files and my Fujifilm X series raw files).   Anybody else experiencing some slowdowns (as usual with a new LRCC release, unfortunately). 

I have an image scanned from a print on bond paper. The image has horizontal lines across it from top to bottom. Is there a way to remove this pattern of lines without going through each one individually?

I see my biggest space suck of almost 500GB are these LR_Master Catalog-v3-……. Previews.lrdataCan I safely get rid of the older ones, say 2024 and older?
