Lightroom Classic

Bonjour. la derniere mise a jour de lightroom classic 14.5.1 ne m'est pas proposée, et j'ai beau faire, je ne trouve pas la solution. Autre probleme, ma sauvegarde de catalogue m'est depuis peu systematiquement refusé. merci pour votre aide

My catalog just updated and had lost files so I found them  but in douing so some how I ended up with a new 2023 folder and it has a subfolder I cannot delete.     

ayuda mi app de lightroom classic no abre, no se si es problema de creative cloud, cuando le doy en abrir me sale el icono de cargando en el puntero del mouse y no abre, intente abrir el lightroom normal y no abre tampoco ayuda de verdad mi trabajo depende de lightroom 

Bonjour,Depuis quelques temps, je remarque que LrC détecte bien les visages mais ne reconnait plus les visages déjà nommés plusieurs fois.une idée ?merci 

Hi GuysSince updating to LRC 15.0.1 if I attempt to crop an image having set the crop lines, when I click on the crop icon to carry out the edit, the crop lines disappear without performing the crop as if I had cancelled the edit. Settings are the same as I've used for the last 5 years:Aspect, CustomUnlockedConstrain to imageImages are usually Canon CR2 but I have also tried converting to .dng without any improvement. Any guesses where I'm going wrong please.Paul

I'm in the Develop module. Screen looks like this: Hit F key to go fullscreen, screen looks like this: Restarted, same result. Downloaded latest version, same result.   LrC version:  15.0.1 MacOS:  15.6   Let me know if you have questions. -jg-  

Hello LrC Team, if you copy all settings (with KI NR) from a cropped photo & paste it to another photo will give some "nice" ghost effects. It will paste the content from the KI-noice reduction into the pasted photo. Hope you´ll fix it in the next version. 🙂 Many thanks René  

I'm seeing lots of discussions about transferring to Macs but haven't found much on Windows.  What's the best way to transfer everything from my old Windows system to my new Windows computer? Thanks all.  

Hi. In Lightroom Classic v15.0 System Info is broken.When I press "Help > System Info..." I get following error message: I've debugged this and it turns out this is because I have unsupported GPU (GPU acceleration disabled).When gathering System Info, Lightroom calls AgImageIO.gpuVRAMTotalBytes() which returns nil.And then Lightroom fails when trying to convert that nil into megabytes using division.Similar issue was present in initial release of Lightroom Classic v12 (v12.0) and was fixed after my report at that time, and here we have it again...To resolve, just change "AgImageIO.gpuVRAMTotalBytes()" to "AgImageIO.gpuVRAMTotalBytes() or 0".Please fix this, because in my opinion System Info should work no matter if GPU is supported or not.@Rikk Flohr: Photography   Previous report for LrC v12.0 if this may be helpful, issue is exactly the same: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-unable-to-view-system-info/idi-p/13277112

Lightroom Classic will not open after the October 2025 update. I updated  my laptop and it worked fine. However, on my tower system with a very large date base of pictures it won't open. I click on the LrC icon, I can see it launches in the Task Manger but it just goes to EOJ without any error or any message of any kind. I"m up to date on my WIndows 11 system, and I updated the graphics drivers. If I try the many suggestions on the internet like holding different keys down and lanching Lightroom I don't get the response they say I should get on the internet. My catalog and backups are on a dedicated hard file on the main system while my photos are on a 10tb external drive. 

Hi everyone, I'm at my wit's end with a Lightroom Classic issue (latest v15.0) and I've run out of ideas. The Core Problem (The Anomaly): My Library Module is incredibly slow. When I cycle through photos (in Grid or "Fit" Loupe view), the entire LrC interface hard freezes for $2-3$ seconds on every single image. During this freeze, I cannot click anything—the UI is completely unresponsive. The weirdest part: my Develop Module is much faster. I can cycle through the same photos in Develop (using Smart Previews) with almost no lag. This is the complete opposite of how LrC is supposed to perform. "The Freeze" Details (What happens in those 2-3 seconds): When monitoring Task Manager during the Library freeze: HDD/SSD: 0% active time (no obvious disk access). GPU: 0-1% usage (not processing). CPU: A small spike (around 10-15%), which on a 3900X (24-thread) suggests a single-core bottleneck or hang. My System (It's not a slow PC): CPU: A

I copied my huge 132gb folder from my computer to my hard drive to free space....its still on my computer, but it has lost all of my edits on my photos I was working on...like the masks just have an exclamation point saying redo.  I sick!!!  please can anyone tell how I can make this  program find the edits that are obviously in there. I'm literaly lost!

Lightroom Classice 15.01. Denoise runs when selected for an individual image or when synchronising a batch BUT the iamges are not displayed as the denoised versions in Develop or in Library view. No matter what I try it seems that Denoise just does not work anymore. I have tried auto synch whic runs throughy all the images (yawn) and then fails to actually denoise them. Also on closoing LR down the program fails to make a bnack up of the catalogue depsite it being directed to exactly the same folder it has always used. I have reset preferences and that has not worked. Any help would be apprecaited because as it stands, this is pretty unusable...

Hi,I need help. Just upgraded to LIGHTROOM CLASSIC 15.0.1 and initally when openning had no photos. Then went to File - Open Recent and openned hwhat I thought was the most recent and I have no photos from the last 16 months on there. How can I find the most recent catalog? I'm on Windows

Recently, whenever I import photos the directory in which they are supposed to wind up shows as greyed out and empty in the Folders panel (on the left), but in Finder I see that the photos are actually there in the directory. No filters are active. Lightroom Classic 15.0.1 on MacOS Tahoe 26.1. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Since updating to 15 the lens blur function no longer works. If i apply it to a photo nothing happens even after analyzing. photos that once had it applied now do not and updating AI settings isn't fixing it.   I have tried backing up and checking catalog integrity as some users have suggested but the problem is till here. I'm very close to finishing a wedding edit but this bug has put me back massively. 

Since upgrading to 15.0.1 of LRC all Topaz plugins except AI Studio, fail to load and causes LRC to Freeze completely requiring a forced shutdown.  I have uninstalled the Topaz products and reinstalled them, to no avail. Any suggestions as to what I may do to fix this?  I’m running on Windows 11 with 13th gen of intel i9, and 32gb free ram and 4 tb free disk space, for graphics I have a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 ti with 12gb ram. Everything worked before the upgrade.

So randomly this week my standard image previews disappeared. Consistent advice was they were corrupt, delete the folder and generate new ones. I ran Lightroom all night to generate new standard perviews, and nothing. Progress bar didn't move for 12 hrs. Generating Smart Previews progress bar completed but nothing showed. Tried importing images with the "embedded and sidecar" build previews option like normal and it gets stuck and will not generate new previews. When I try and close Lightroom and back up the catalog, it gets stuck on preview section and will not close. For context, all files are stored and backed up in SharePoint. It's my first time using cloud storage with Lightroom and unsure how or if that factors here. 

I'm new to Lightroom from Capture one. My macbook runs great on Final Cut Pro editing 4k60 videos and on Capture One but when it comes to LrC some features make it unusable. With graphics switching off on the mac, and all combinations of accelerator on in LrC, I would expect LrC tro use my more powerful graphics card. Ai Denoise takes 45 seconds or more and uses my fast card, landscape mask takes longer but uses my slow card and makes my computer freeze up until its finished maxing out my gpu at 96%. Anyone have a cure for this? I want to only use my fast card. I have a 2019 Macbook Pro 16", 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel i9, 64 gb Ram, AMD Radeon Pro 5600m 8gb Graphics Card (fast) and UHD Graphics 630 Card (slow) . I'm running Sequoia. 

Hi all - I have been having an issue with my Macbook Pro (2021 M1) crashing on the first photo import attempt. It does not seem to matter how many photos I try to import, the computer crashes upon hitting the import button. After restarting the computer, it usually imports without issues. I have started doing one bogus import to let the computer crash so that I can get on with actual work. I saw one other post about someone's M2 Mac behaving in a possibly similar way, but otherwise I can't find any information or answers about this. I am not sure if this started with an update of LR or the Mac - it seemed to start randomly several months or longer ago. The Mac itself seems fine - All other apps behave normally. My colleague with an older Mac does not have this problem. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi! I use a 16" M1 Max MacBook Pro with maxed out specs and 64gb ram. I’m experiencing severe lag in the Library module when navigating between photos on a Studio Display (5K resolution) connected to an M1 Max MacBook Pro (64GB RAM). Even with 1:1 previews built, GPU acceleration enabled, and low preview quality, the lag persists — unless I reduce the macOS display scaling to a lower, non-native setting (e.g., 2560×1440).This clearly points to a UI rendering issue in Lightroom Classic at high-resolution scaling settings.Please address proper support for 5K/6K displays and Apple Silicon native UI performance. It is fast with the MacBook Pro screen and it is fast with lower resolution on the Studio Display. But it is very very slow when I use the native 5K resolution. Not the upscaled resolution, just the native. So the resolution is Default and it is slow! Please fix this issue because the slow library is making my life really difficult when culling images. &nbs

What happens to my photos if I cancel my Adobe subscription? edits ?

I have several collections set to sync on LrC. All additional photos I add and edits to existing sync'd photos transfer between LrC desktop and the Lr Mobile app. Except one photo. This photo has been syncing for over 6 months across several updates of LrC desktop and the mobile app. I'm including the sync error messsage from my iPhone Lr Mobile app and the sync screen in Preferences on LrC desktop. I also did "Rebuild Sync Data" which I know newer versions of LrC now recommend you do NOT do but that has previously solved sync issues in the past. I also made minor edits to the photo on both LrC desktop and Lr Mobile as that has often "kick started" the sync process to work when photo syncing wasn't working in previous versions of LrC over the years. Neither has impacted this issue in any way that I can see. Why is this one photo not syncing and how to fix it?

Looks like the latest update for Lightroom Classic Desktop 15.0.1 has bricked the program. Can't open existing catalogs or create a new one. Running Windows 11 on a desktop.
