Hi,I have a problem with the new Lightroom Classic update (and Lightroom as well).Since updating to v15, when I try to open the program, it doesn't launch, but if I open the task manager, I see the process active and it consumes more and more memory until, a few minutes later, an exception message pops up with the following text: "Exception Processing Message 0xc0000005 - Unexpected parameters".If I revert to the previous version, it works fine.I tried uninstalling Creative Cloud and reinstalling it again, but the problem persists.
Lightroom Classic-Version: 15.0.1 on Mac OS 26I wanted to edit photos in LRC for the first time since August and noticed that photos that had already been edited lost all their edits after a “double-click.” The thumbnail image in grid mode is initially correct, but after double-clicking, the image and thumbnail image revert to their original state. This started with version 14.5.x (unfortunately, I didn't note the version number) and is still present in the current 15.0.1.Restoring the catalog file “Lightroom - xxx.lrcat-data” from the backup had no effect.Fortunately (and strangely enough), the change log for each photo is still available, so I can restore the edits, but doing this for each photo is impossible.Even stranger is the top entry in the history all photos: “Export - Hard Drive (12/02/24 07:56:48),” but I can't remember having done this! Other potentially useful facts:* I have several catalogs, but I haven't changed catalogs recently* I still have the problem
I'm using macOS : Lighroom Classic iPhone & iPad : Lighroom mobile app. I'm working with ipad/iphone to brief post editing and I work with macOS to finish the editing of my photos. In addition, before send my final product to my client, I check the tone/manner and how the photos is visualized on iPhone & iPad screens. What I want to say is, syncing is one hell of big and necessary function of my work flow. However, Recently, Lightroom freqeuntly stuck at "infinite syncing" issues when I import and sync the photos. Following is my workflow. 1. Mount SD Card and import photos on macOS LRC 2. Make Collections (not all photos, I do selections before sync and 20~30 photos at all) and make this new collection folder to be sync on adobe cloud. 3. I turn up iPhone/iPad and sync the newly build collections 4. After I check all the photos are loaded on iPhone/iPad -> Edit the photo 5. Turn on macOS LRC, wait for photos to be sync ( from iphone to ado
Since the latest update I have been unable to carry out the above function when denoise edit is activated. This has resulted in PS2025 freezing or not opening at all with resultant inability to continue edits in PS2025.Overall the latest update has slowed or frozen frequently which is very frustrating and slowing my work rate. Is there a solution?
I just thought I would share what worked for me in opening Lightroom 15 under Creative Cloud. I have a Lenovo laptop 2 years old. i7 processor but a graphics card with a benchmark of a little over 5000 (Adobe recommends over 2000). I could not get Lightroom 15 to open. It downloaded fine and there was no error messages when I tired to open. But it would not open. Tried Abode Creative Cloud tech support. First person referred to a senor person. Senor person said that the graphics card was insuffiecient although he never actually checked the speed of the cards (there are 2). The third person, in a chat, found the answer. Update Microsoft Visual C++. This allowed LR 15 to open.
I updated to LR Classic 15 and since then I am experiencing a few serious bugs that make it unusable. I am using Lightroom 15.0 on an M4 Pro Mac Mini, running the latest version of MacOS. Primarily: 1. Lightroom randomly selects a a picture Profile. When in the Develop Module, if I select a Profile, such as "Camera Standard", the Profile shown in the top right will correctly show as whatever I select, as expected. However, sometimes the name of a seemingly random profile will flash up at the bottom of the screen, such as "Adobe Standard" and it is this random profile that is used to show the colours in the photo. I have even seen situations where my photo is changed to "Adobe Monochrome", when I selected a colour profile. If I then move to another photo and immediately back again, Lightroom CC seems to realise what profile should actually be selected and shows the photo correctly. I can edit several pictures correctly before I randomly get this behaviour. 2. Sharpe
I keep seeing information online in various sources, including Adobe, about recovering deleted photos such as the info here: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/using/restore-deleted-photos.html#view_deleted_photos It starts by telling the user to "Select Photos" but I have no idea where that is 🙂 I tend to think of user error to begin with and assume there is something I'm missing. The above Adobe page doesn't seem to indicate, but can someone help clarify if the ability to actually recover deleted photos applies to photos after "Delete from Disk" vs "Remove from Lightroom"? If so, how? Thanks.
I'm exporting photos from a project. If I pick a single photo and export, it works. If I try to export all of them (> 100), it hangs forever with the exporting progress bar at 100%. I ran it from terminal and got the following log. Feel free to contact me, the issue is easily reproducible and I'm unable to export this project now, which is a critical thing I need to be able to do. 2025-11-14 14:10:15.761 Adobe Lightroom Classic[31377:3921868] ?:0: attempt to index a nil value 0: method metadataForExport - 1344055025:468+16 1: [unnamed] - 508560402:484+83 2: [unnamed] - tail 3: [unnamed] - tail 4: [unnamed] - 219380148:1071+5 5: global pcall - C 6: [unnamed] - 219380148:963+53 7: [unnamed] - tail 8: global pcall

Patrick PPH

I'm looking to upgrade my Windows laptop soon and trying to decide between which graphics card to get. The price difference between the two laptops I'm looking at is about $350 (identical except for the graphics card - both Ultra 9 275HX 24-core processors, 64GB of RAM and 2TB SSDs). The two cards are the Nvidia RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5080. The major issue I have with my current laptop is how slow it is with AI Denoise. I often denoise hundreds of images from an event (need to shoot high ISO, no I cannot shoot at a lower ISO). Right now I have to do about 50 at a time and that takes a good 15 minutes (mine has the 3050). It tends to add a few days to my getting the photos out to people. Is there a huge difference in speed between these two cards? Is the 5080 worth the $350 higher price tag? I will spend it if I need to (I do this semi-professionally) but I don't want to if it's really not much of a jump in speed.
I'm xperiencing the same problem as discussed in ACR Ver 17.0 Denoise AI - Strange High CPU use aft... - Adobe Product Community - 15018356This occurs on both a DIY desktop and off-the-shelf laptop. Both are Win11 Pro. Desktop is i7-8700K with NVIDIA 3060TUF and the laptop is an I9 with an NVIDIA 4070, both fully patched with clean installs of current NVIDIA Studio drivers.I extensively tried to debug by reinstalling Adobe software, clean install of graphics drivers, resetting prefs, toggling pref settings, clearing caches, etc.The issue only occurs when GPUs are enabled, and only if edits have been made to the raw file, either because of applying an import develop preset or after import. A single edit (e.g., adjust exposure) causes high CPU for 3-4 seconds following completion of denoise. Multiple edits cause high CPU for a prolonged period of 1-2 minutes after denoise is complete, significantly interfering with my ability to move forward in my workflow.&n
Hi,In the past days I tried to clean up my PC with Windows 11 a bit by installing the latest Windows updates, update a few drivers and remove some unused programs. By an large this was a success, everything is running a bit faster and smoother than before.Apart from Lightroom that is. My LR startup now takes a minute, with the UI controls coming up quite slowly. Once it is started I can use LR relatively normal, though still there is sometimes flickering of the shown photo.Attached is a video of the startup. The display adapter is a NVIDA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER, and I tried both the latest Gaming and Studio drivers from NVIDIA, the problem is the same with both. Also I tried to reinstall Lightroom, but the problem stayed.Last thing I tried is start Lightroom with an empty catalogue, but again, the problem stayed.Does anyone has an idea what else could be causing this? Thanks for your help!
Not sure what happened but somehow I had to resync lightroom into LRC and now it is very slow and don't have any space left on my macbook . I see the mobile download lrdata is 248 GB.. Need help how to move my pics or get rid of that icon.. And I can't open the mac photos anymore.
I filter photos for 'unflagged' only. In the past, hitting 'x' would drop the photo from the filter and the photo selected would advance to the next photo in the grid (this is different than the auto-advance created with caps lock, where LR advances when anything is done to the photo).Since the upgrade to 15.0, the selection doesn't advance. The photo drops out of the Library Grid view as it should, but the Loupe view continues to show it. Of the photos displayed in 'Grid' view, none of them is now selected. Using the right arrow to advance causes the selection to jump to the very first photo in the grid. I've tried restarting LR, and the behavior doesn't change.Running LR 15.0 on Windows 11
Hola!
Images now go dark during lightroom transform adjustments when pulling any of the transform sliders after the most recent 15.0 update. (Mac OS). Any ideas?
Hello,Since I've upgraded to LrC v15 on Windows 11, I start using more and more the synchronisation feature, in order to use either Lighroom edition to process my photos. However, at some point, I looked at the synchronisation status in the little cloud available in the upper right corner of LrC, and it shows that 51 photos are being synchronized. But this stays forever. After some research on the web, I've displayed the sync status on the web that actually shows the list of photos with sync issues. I've removed all photos in this list and it is now empty. See attached screenshot Pbs de synchro 1.png.I didn't see any change. Then when opening the list of photos being synced (see attached screenshot Sync 1.png), I reviewed this list and removed the photos from the synced collections from 2 folders:\\nas01\Bruts\Photos\2023\2023-05-06 2023-05-13 Voyage en Toscane\2023-05-07 3 Visite de la Crypte de la cathédrale de Sienne\Canon EOS 6D Mark II (cr2)and\\nas01\Bruts\Photos\2023\2023-05-06 202
Can Lightroom synchronize the folder automatically without my having to do it manually?I generally open raw files in PS from LR to edit fine details. LR slows down my computer too much for detailed edits. After saving the PSD (which does auto sync to LR), I need multiple sizes of jpegs so I either do a Save As from PS or an Export from LR. Either way these do not show up in my LR catalog until I manually sync the folder (right clicking on the folder and clicking through the synchronize folder "wizard"). I'm looking to speed up my work flow by cutting out this last step. I've looked for an auto sync setting for the catalog but can't seem to find one. I realize it might not be everyone's cup of tea to have jpeg copies in LR, but for my particular purposes it's the most efficient solution. If this feature is available, please let me know where to find it. Else, just let me know that it's not available - no need to let me know why it should or should not exist. Thanks!
I have run the Subject Focus culling on a folder but do not get any check marks on my images. It will give me a culling score in the drop down menu but does not show me which images are out of focus. Culling analysis is checked on in my Catalog Settings. I have also restarted LrC and my computer but still no luck. Anyone else have this issue or have any suggestions?
