Using lightroom for iPad: When mirroring the screen of my iPad on a tv via AirPlay on an Apple TV, something strange is happening: after a couple of seconds, the image turns very dark when I view a photo full screen. as long as the photo is not full screen, no problem whatsoever. same problem with lightroom on iPhone, with screen mirroring via airtame to the same Apple TV. any idea? Lightroom 11.1   [moved from bugs to discussions according to the community rules - Mod.]  

After the latest update of Lightroom Mobile, the “Remove” tool started leaving a visible halo or ghost outline even after export.This never happened before — I’ve used the same tool with AI successfully many times, and now the exported image has an artifact. I’m editing JPEGs.I already tried reinstalling the app, but it didn’t help.Please investigate — this affects my workflow. on iPhone! 

At the time of the deletion of the app the subscription wasn't paid for and photos weren't syncing. However the app says storage full, but the photoa of the last 3 years are missing and before they were there and the storage was the same.. 

In Lightroom Classic, one is able to see file attributes via the Loupe overlay but this functionality appears to me absent in Lightroom for Mac. Any workaround other than having to use the pane? I’d prefer to see the overlay when viewing images full screen.

Right now, if my display isn’t 1000 nits or whatever, HDR highlights above the available headroom are simply clipped, which makes the image look ugly.I can understand why this might be useful in Edit mode for a more “accurate” view, but in View mode I think the image should be tone-mapped to fit the display.Interestingly, Lightroom for web already works this way: when viewing pictures, the highlights are properly compressed (at least on Chrome), while Edit mode looks the same as the native apps and remains clipped.It would be nice to be able to properly view HDR photos on displays that don’t have a bazillion nits of brightness, including EDR iPads and MacBooks (and other displays) at high brightness, where the available HDR headroom can be quite small.

I've been wanting to do this topic for a while, but lacked the time to actually to proper testing to exclude other factors. I always found Lr to be pretty much unusable when used in "pure Cloud" mode (not stored locally).I have investigated and made a video to measure properly the time of downloads.Each photo takes 10s to load, quite consistently, and they are between 80MB and 90MB. Taking the biggest file, that's puts the download at 72Mbps. At best. 10 seconds between editing 2 files is really not usable.And given how aggressively Lr removes any files from the the local storage, after they've been uploaded, I would have expected something a lot faster, for a software that really pushes to be cloud only. In the past years, I always had a small doubt about my internet connection.Now that I have 8Gbps, with 936Mbps measured on the iPad (through WiFi 7), nothing else can impact this speed. I don't get why the download are that slow.And they're not any better on M

Hi! My Lightroom hungs up, after deleting pictures. Today for the fourth time within an hour. Can you fix this?

the program is like freeze i click every where and nothing happen can change the comand

Guten Tag, gerne würde ich Lightroom CC freigegebene Alben zusammen mit meiner Homepage nutzen. Dafür würde ich allerdings in den Lightroom Alben in der Cloud Links zurück auf meine Homepage und einen Shop einfügen. One of the main reason I and many others stick with Adobe, is that with Portfolio it offers a built-in portfolio website builder. Since I have created my website four years ago, no updates have been made to the system and it’s starting to feel out of date. Adobe really needs to keep this feature up to date if it wants to keep users from ditching Adobe for a cheaper alternative and different portfolio website provider. Edit: I have no idea why this post has been moved to the Lightroom board, but the fact that there is no dedicated Portfolio board underlines my point.

I haven't tested all the variables here so I'll just give the exact steps that allow me to reproduce the issue, but some things (like specifically using fast user switching) may not be necessary.Set up two user accounts Enable Touch ID on both accounts, using different fingers Make sure "Use Touch ID for fast user switching" is enabled on both accounts Make sure both accounts have been logged in to since last booting the system Launch Lightroom on either account Set the Lightroom window to fullscreen (🌐F / ⌃⌘F) Open any photo Open the edit panel and ensure the histogram is enabled (⌘0) Using fast user switching, switch to the other active user account Using fast user switching, switch back to the account with Lightroom openUpon switching back, the Lightroom window will briefly reset its positioning, and in the process, position the histogram too high, causing the top section of it to be cut off: 

I seem to have two versions of Lightroom on my desktop. One doesn’t have the left side menus from which I could export or Edit in Topaz, etc. It’s the one that I open from my programs menu on my Windows computer. The other, opened from the Creative Cloud, has the menus. They BOTH say Lightroom, but no distinction between web based, desktop or mobile. Neither one is nested within a browser window, as I would expect a web based program to be. So how can I always get the version with the menus on the left?

When exporting a photo with AI sharpening, the process get’s hung on the “preparing stage”.  

I use the autorotate feature in the crop mode all the time.  It would be even better if there was a keyboard shortcut that adjusted the image similar to how Shift-A applies auto-settings so the task is even quicker/easier to do.

I can’t get this open on my desktop

I am using the same cRAW files I used prior to updating to Tahoe iOS, and it just doesn’t work now. I thought it just needed more time to clear up photo, but that does not seem to be the case.
