I can't remember the last time I ever had to worry about duplicates but recently I imported pictures manually from my camera roll and it clearly has imported hundreds of duplicates (with identical filenames mind you). This exclusively happened to HEIC and JPGs from my iPhone's camera roll so it feels like a bug specific to iOS perhaps. All this brings up the very odd choice of not offering the same deduplicate feature available within the import flow *after* the images are already in the library. In my case, that's hundreds of photos I have to hunt for manually, when the process would be instantaneous if the dupe finder was available outside of the import flow. It would also be incredibly useful to be able to group photos from the library that are not *quite* duplicates but very identical (think bursts or multiple edits of the same shot) and allow me to find them, pick the ones I want to keep and either delete or mark the others as rejected. I'm not qui
Thanks for fixing the bug with Adobe Lightroom 9.2 where “Export with Previous” (Ctrl/Cmd + E) wasn’t working. The issue is mostly resolved now. However, pressing Return/Enter does not complete the export to the selected folder in the updated 9.3 version. The key works as expected in earlier steps of the dialog (including Return and Tab navigation), but it does not submit the final export action.Regards
“Free space” is “Espace libre” in French. So on the screenshot, the good word is “libre(s)” and not “gratuit(s)”. “Gratuit” in this case is a non sense (it mean it cost 0$).
At some point over the past few months, Lightroom updated the Filename options on export and completely broke how sequential filenaming worked. I’ve noticed each of the following behavior changes. In 2025 and Prior:When exporting a sufficient number of photos at once, Lr would automatically add leading zeros. (EXAMPLE: If exporting at least 10 photos, the first photos would sequence as 01, 02, 03, etc., if exporting at least 100, the first photos would sequence as 001, 002, 003, etc.) When executing multiple exports at different times, Lr would recall the previously used filename AND remember what the last used sequence number was (EXAMPLE: After exporting 15 photos with the Custom Name - Sequence defined as “PhotoName” with a starting number of “1,” if another export was later begun, the options would be preloaded with “PhotoName” still in the Custom Name field and the starting number would update to “16.”Now, when using Lightroom, both of these behaviors are completely broken. No matte

I tried to export my photos from Lightroom, but I keep getting message "Some images were exported with outdated AI Settings". I updated the AI Settings from Photo, and then updated the AI Settings as what instructed from the forum I saw. But still error. I tried to to it on my phone, same image, no problem at all. But this message only appears when I export it on my laptop. Version of the app : Lightroom 9.0 Platform and OS version : Apple M1 Pro, Tahoe 26.1 Basic steps to reproduce the problem : Exporting the photo from PC, then Error Message Appeared, then updated the AI Settings Expected result and actual result : After updating AI Settings, same error message still appears
When you press T it does different things depending on whether the photo is already in the target album If the photo is NOT in the target album: it adds the photo AND it displays a popup saying that it added it If the photo is ALREADY in the target album: it removes it WITHOUT the popup feedback EXPECTED: a popup that says "removed from target album" Thanks
Issue: Search bar won’t find keywords in version 8 Version: Latest version 8 OS and version: macOS 13.5.2 Issue: To reproduce the issue; type a keyword name (tag) into the search bar. Press enter. Expected result: Lightroom should show only the photos related to that keyword Actual result: Lightroom makes the normal sound; however does show the photos related to the keyword search. Note: I rolled back to version 7 and everything works as expected. Seems to only be a problem in version 8. Thank you!
In Lightroom mobile using the “add border and share feature” using the eyedropper to sample a color or using any of the preset colors - upon export a massive gamma shift and color shift is applied to only the border lightening it and desaturating it. I have tried many potential fixes and nothing works. This appears to be a color pipeline issue or something clashing with iOS? I’m not sure. But I am essentially unable to create colored borders that match the image now. There are no deeper export settings available to tweak in the “add border and share” dialog box. attached image: on the left is a dark red border applied > right is how it exports turning it light pink
Hey Adobe Lightroom Community ! So, I've got this super annoying problem where my notifications inside the Lightroom mobile app just aren't showing up. It's been going on for like two months now, and it's happening on both my iPhone (when I had it) and now my Android phone. Super frustrating! 1. App Version: Lightroom Mobile App: Version 10.4.2 2. What Phone/OS I'm Using: Right now: Android 14 (on my Google Pixel) Before: iOS (on my iPhone 11 Pro Max) 3. How to See the Problem (Steps to Reproduce): Open up the Lightroom app (Version 10.4.2) on my Android 14 phone. Go to the in-app notification section (you know, where you see likes, remixes, all that good stuff). Have something happen that should give me a notification (like someone liking one of my photos, or remixing it, or if I get featured). But then... nothing new shows up in that notification panel in the app. Nada. 4. What Should Happen vs. What's Actually Happening: What should happen:
The Deleted view could use a lot of improvement. I have 1500 photos in there at the moment and am looking for one taken on a known date. But, the Deleted view does not let you sort by the capture date nor view the info and capture date for any of the photos. Why? All of this capability from the other views should be preserved here.
Hello, i have a screenshot from a video and there is a person in it that i need to enhance. Im willing to learn myself, but need this one done quickly

As an event photographer, there are many different sections to each of my galleries across the day, take a wedding for example, there are many various different parts of the day - during editing, sometimes it is helpful to be able to see when each section starts and ends, as you may only need 5 photos from a 50-100+ similar / duplicate photos, a very long section which does happen when people like myself are a bit trigger happy with the camera! My proposition is based around the ability to add your own markers into your timeline - similar to premier pro with the marker tool (by pressing M), this will help gauge each section down to easily locatable areas, maybe having the ability to jump to that section without scrolling straight past the beginning! This will especially help in on-day-edits during events like the weddings. I hope this all made sense! Thank you for reading!
Lightroom on iOS has an option to "Enable Lens Corrections," but has no provision to select a specific profile. Please add this capability, which is already on Lightroom for Web, as well as the Desktop and Classic applications. Lightroom for Web is a partial workaround, but is not useful if you are traveling and don't have a sufficient connection to be able to sync your photos to the web. This became critical for me as I was struggling with this issue, for which the workaround for a faulty new lens profile was to change to an earlier version of the lens profile: Lens Correction Profile for Canon RF24-240 exhibits edge artifacts This would also be helpful for several other cases where lens profiles are incorrectly applied, or there are other profiles that may work better. For example, iPhone 12 wide angle back camera, DJI Mavic 2 Pro, and some recent GoPro cameras. Here is what we have in Lightroom for the Web: For comparison, here is Lightroom on iOS (iPad)
Yesterday it started with Lightroom for ios on ipad showing error “image missing” with error code t20200914 “too many levels of symbolic links code 62”. Then tried accessing via web on lightroom.adobe.com which initially showed photos but not that specific photo with error “proxy image missing”. Now on lightroom.adobe.com not only those images, but the whole album is just empty screen, as well as many other older albums as well as the “All Photos” on top, even though it shows 19k photos there, clicking on it opens an empty screen. Please fix, the whole point of using cloud was because could trust that it is going to be reliable, that confidence is now being severely tested.
As camera technology has advanced, wildlife photography has reached a tipping point.Modern cameras routinely shoot at 20, 30, 40 FPS and beyond. Capturing key moments requires bursts because photographers have only fractions of a second to capture motion behaviour a barn owl striking prey, a kingfisher entering water or an eagle flying close. The result is that a good morning in the field can easily generate 500–2,000 images, with hundreds of near-identical frames from burst sequences. Good fieldcraft and technique captures THE image. The challenge is finding it.The Last BottleneckI am an experienced wildlife photographer, speaker and Lightroom advocate. Every presentation I give and almost every wildlife photographer I meet asks the same question:"How do you deal with burst photos, and do you ever get tired of the editing process?"The answer is that editing is no longer the issue. Culling is.You guys have transformed image editing with an amazing suite of tools. However, wildlife photo

For reference, I am using Lightroom Mac Version 7.3 on an Apple M1 Pro MacBook Pro. Has anyone had an issue where during the middle of of an editing session the arrow keys stop working on the film strip and when adjusting something on a sliding scale? All of the other keyboard shortcuts work, but for some reason arrow key function stops. This issue will resolve upon quitting and restarting application, but it is getting annoying & breaks my flow when I have to do so 4-5 times throughout an editing session. This has been bothering me for months now. How do I resolve it? It generally seems to occur after I have used the crop function (or at least that is when I notice). When it happens, it will not allow me to hit enter on the crop. I instead have to hit 'E' to return to the edit panel and save the crop. From that point going forward, I can no longer use the arrow keys throughout the session. There is also a sound that plays like the arrow keys are no longer

Introducing Assisted Culling (Early Access) in Lightroom Desktop For providing feedback for Lightroom Classic, click here. TL;DR – Assisted Culling is getting faster, more powerful, and more accurate as we head to GA. If you tried in October 2025, we urge you to try the new version and give us feedback – especially for wedding & portrait photographers. We’re eager to hear your feedback! Assisted Culling has received several updates since Early Access launched in October 2025. If you tried it then, here's what's new: April 2026 Significantly improved handling of shallow depth-of-field for photos – a major customer ask. Images with intentional background blur are now more reliably recognized and kept rather than rejected as out-of-focus. We’ve retrained the “Reject model” so it has more accurate identification of reject-worthy images. Additionally, an image can now be flagged under multiple reject reasons simultaneously: Exposure Issues: includes a sensitivity slider so you c
Copy and pasting settings within the mobile app is NOT working correctly it’s pasting what I supposedly copy but it does NOT look right. When I go back and edit from the start, it looks right. But pasting those settings to the next photo is NOT working.
There seems to be a bug in Lightroom when using the "Copy Edit Settings" feature. Even when I uncheck all settings and select only the Denoise tool to copy, Lightroom still pastes every single adjustment (like exposure, color, and contrast) onto the new image. It is completely ignoring my specific selection in the "Copy Settings" checkbox menu and overwriting all the original settings on the target image.
I hope adobe can add RGB values under the histogram like lightroom classic has. I dont know if anyone has any workarounds for this, but I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has a solution for this. The RGB values would be great for balancing the colours. It would also be nice if they could add some sort of pipette so you can add a point of where you want to check the RGB values. So that you can lock in where you want to adjust, and then adjust it from that point. Have seen a few of these requests… some from a few years ago!… so I am not really sure if they will ever add this, but one can hope…
While it’s been mostly nice to have the Lightroom experience on the Surface Pro 11 with Qualcomm Snapdragon X, there are some pretty hard to ignore deficiencies. First and foremost, hardware acceleration only partially works. It is used for exporting, but denoising as best I can tell is still exclusively CPU and does not make use of either the GPU or NPU. Yes, before you ask I have made sure graphics acceleration is fully enabled in both Lightroom and Camera Raw. If someone else can get it to work, I'm happy to learn exactly how. Under the Remove toolbox, Distraction Removal for Reflections/People/Dust are missing. I personally wouldn’t use this feature very much, but it’s weird that it’s missing. Content Credentials on 9.3.2 on my Intel NUC shows that it is available and I can configure it. On my SP11, it shows “Content Credentials are not available on this platform”, and again I’m just kind of wondering why? It seems like Adobe did just enough to meet a Microsoft contractual obli
