Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I recently bought a Asus Vivobook Pro laptop and I'm using LR 8.2 on it. I'm using Windows 11 24H2 version Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) Ultra 9 185H 2.50 GHzGeïnstalleerd RAM-memory 24,0 GB (23,4 GB beschikbaar)Type systeem 64-bits besturingssysteem, x64-processorThere's also a Nvidia Geforce RTX-4060 on board. Every time LR crashes when I use it. And after a while it continues. Vedry frustrating! I tried to close the use of the video card in preferences: doesn't work. I subscribe to the Adobe Photography Plan, but Lightroom for mobile on my ipad isn't showing all the premium features. I have done a lot of searching to try and remedy this issue, but am getting nowhere at all. I have tried going to settings in the Lightroom app. It says subscribed and there is no option to restore purchases. I'm at a total loss as to what to do!

Lightroom zeigt in der „Lokal“-Ansicht bei übergeordneten Ordnern nicht mehr automatisch die Bilder aller Unterordner an. Beispielsweise wird im Ordner „2025“ nicht mehr der gesamte Inhalt der Unterordner (01, 02, 03 usw.) angezeigt, sondern nur die Bilder, die direkt im Hauptordner liegen (in meinem Fall keine). Das erschwert meinen Workflow immens! Jetzt muss man immer in den Monatsordner wechseln und sieht nur die Bilder des jeweiligen Monats, z. B. Bilder/2025/01Ich habe meine Ordnerstruktur aus gutem Grund so aufgebaut, wie sie ist, und sie muss auch so bleiben. Das Update der GUI (Nutzeroberfläche) ist für mich leider eine große Verschlechterung. Gibt es einen Workaround?Ich weiß über „neuere“ Funktionen wie z. B. Smart Collections Bescheid. Does anyone know how to import brushes in the new lightroom 2025 not classic? When you go to preferences the preset option no longer appears as in the classic lightroom

I used to be able to choose to see RAW or JPEG only or to see all photos. I don't have the ability to see only JPEG anymore. I can choose to see RAW only or all photos. Is this something that can fixed or is it an option that has been taken out of LR?

Hi,I am using the Lightroom app on my iPhone but suddenly out of nowhere the app doesn't load my pictures properly. And when saving pictures from the app they won't upload but keep pending it seems. I have no idea how I can solve this. Can somebody help?   

 I edit a raw photo in Lightroom mobile on my iphone no problem. When I export it by just clicking "save copy to device" it will save the photos in a file size ranging from 20-40mb depending on if I do 90 or 100% quality jpg export. However, when I use the "add border and share" option to add a border to the photo, the file size DRASTICALLY reduces to around 1mb. Maybe they think it's good to reduce in order to share or post online? Why isn't there a way to control the photo file size manually? When I select 100% quality export it should be the same size regardless if there's a thin border on it. Very frustrating I pay all this money to adobe and they still can't get the little things right. Bom dia! Conheci ontem via Youtube  o software Evoto e estou admirado com tamanha praticidade e recursos avançados num só software! Queria saber a previsão de atualização das ferramentas atuais, pois estou considereando a aquisição da ferramenta. E se ela suprir a minha necessidade por completo, vou ter que migrar.  Uma simples troca de céu, atualmente, se tem que ir para o Photoshop. E aí galera, vocês estão sabendo também da novidade?

I have used Lightroom and Lightroom Classic together for many years, and I have generally been able to correct any sync issues. I used to load all my images into Classic on my desktop and add to a synced folder, wait for the smart previews to upload, then copy the originals to Lightroom (cloud) on the desktop to upload the originals to the cloud. Recently I've been culling in Bridge and copying photos directly to Lightroom on my laptop. I have a Cloud folder designated for new cloud originals in Classic, and photos have shown up there with no issues.  However, my last several uploads on my laptop have not downloaded into Classic. I can see them in Lightroom (cloud) on my desktop, and the originals are in the cloud, but I can't get Classic to see them. I've checked for sync errors in both all my Lightroom apps and in the web interface, but nothing appears to be wrong with the photos. Hi .. on importing to LR mobile via a camera device (SD card via reader) the images have suddenly started to appear blurred and pixelated.  I have plenty of cloud storage free and this has only started recently.. prior to this all appeared clear and sharp .. allowing them to be reviewed prior to import. see sample image  any help greatly appreciated 😁

Topaz oder Photoshop bearbeiten möchte, auf das Bilde klicke und "Bearbeiten in" wähle, wird meine ursprüngliche Aufnahmezeit mit dem tagesaktuellen Datum und der Uhrzeit überschrieben. Ich muss nach der Bearbeitung die alte Aufnahmezeit wieder eingeben. Kann mir jemand helfen, dass die original Aufnahmezeit "unangetastet" bleibt.Ganz herzlichen Dank

Hello everyone, appoligies as I've asked a similer question before but had no correct solutions....   Firstly I specifically bought a new computer to use for just Photoshop/Lightroom as I am currently putting together a photo book of an early 1980s UK 'Droog-Punk' band called the Violators. This has required lots of editing of high rez scans of old black and white 35mm negatives. They havnt been well cared for in the 43 years since they were taken so the scans have needed a lot of work. I Have also taken lots of 'photos' of 'old photographs' with a Nikon Z8 in RAW and again edited them in Lightroom. I Started to do this late last year but after a week or so I started to get lots of slowdown problems with Lightroom.   So I'm editing some High Rez scans in Lightroom. As soon as I've done probably 10 edits to a scan my Lightroom goes so slow and by slow I mean if I try to use the spot removal I'm getting the dreaded Apple spinning beachball for a minimum of  7 or 8 seconds

Hi,I have made mistake and uninstalled Adobe Lightroom mobile app for which I have subscription and after I installed it back it seems I lost all edited photos😕😕; is there any chance to get them back?

While using the OBJECT masking tool, lightroom fails to select the object and instead creates a distorted rectangle selction around the intended object. This issue even impacted the saved images on which earlier the object masking tool worked as expected. How can this issue be resolved?

Windows 11 / Lightroom 8.1 / Photoshop 26.2From album view in Lightroom, right-click a photo and select Edit in Photoshop > Edit in Photoshop...'Opening in Photoshop...' appears over progress bar at top left of screen, progress bar does not advance.Blue 'Downloading Original' popup appears center bottom of screen.About 5-10 minutes pass with no change, then I get two pop-up dialogs:'Edit in Photoshop failed | File could not be opened in Photoshop''Unable to edit | Photoshop couldn't open the selected images.'Repeat this at least 3 times with a given photo and there is a chance it will actually open in Photoshop, entire process takes about 30 mins and isn't consistent.Trying to go the other way and open Lightroom photos from Photoshop also appears broken, the 'Lightroom Photos' tab in photoshop just displays endless loading circle animation instead of photos.

Is there a way to show filename on grid view thumbnail, usually on my iphone, i can double tap to show the toggle. but it doesnt work on my android tablet

Hi, I'm having an issue with Lightroom (cloud-based) on my M1 iMac (macOS Sequoia 15.3.2). When I use "Edit in Photoshop" on a DNG file or a JPEG,  the app hangs. But if I use "Edit in Photoshop as Smart Object," it works fine. This does not happen in Lightroom Classic—only in the cloud version. Both apps are fully updated. I've tried disabling GPU acceleration, purging the Camera Raw cache, and rebooting—no change. Can you help or confirm if this is a known issue?

I have used select background and select subject several times in the past, however, over the last several months I receive an error that none can be detected.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling hoping that would do the trick, but did not.Please help.Lightroom v8.2Windows 10
