Can't find the Scale Feature

I'm experiencing a increasingly frustrating problem with Lightroom. Whenever I use "smart" features such as noise reduction, masking or spot removal, lightroom start to consume a lot of VRAM. I have 64GB DDR5 RAM, Intel i7-14700k, and an RTX 3080 with 10 GB of VRAM and LR easily eats that in a few minutes of use. The VRAM consumption seemt to reduce after a while, however, the RAM usage then increase, around ~25GB, suggesting that the VRAM is dumped to RAM instead. Doing so causes distinct and frequent freezes, making LR impossible to work with without restarting it ever 10 minutes. The only solution seems to be to restart it. I have tried to disable the GPU acceleration entierly (both in LR and PS) but distpite this, LR still allocate VRAM and cause frequent freezes. Have anyone else shared this experience? Is this a known issue? Are there a fix to this, or am I stuck with a broken LR?

We have officially passed the point where Adobe no longer cares about photographers. The addition of two key features in ACR but not in lightroom shows Adobe's disdain for anyone just trying to quickly edit a photo. ACR is basically lightroom inside of photoshop and features being dropped there first is super disrespectful.I don't need a bloated app with a million tools to edit my photos, I just need a relatively lightweight app like lightroom. ACR and lightroom should have feature parity if you aren't going to launch in lightroom first.

Am I able to make edits to only part of my videos? Like make the edits start at one point of the video and end at another? 

When starting Ligtroom it fails to log in.It says that its unable to connect lightroom services. This problem can be temporall. Please check the connection or try later. Error 403 Ive tried to google the issue but nothing helped. Both creative cloud and lightroom are updated to latest versions. In the meanhile I don't have this issue when accessing the app via iphone. Could you please support me in fixing the issue?

I'm trying to follow an incredibly simple tutorial from this IG reel (https://www.instagram.com/reel/DB1sODGtk_d/) and the first step has already thrown me off. She imports a photo to Lightroom and clicks the option "add a border and share." When I also click the share option on my photo in Lightroom I'm not presented with that option. See screenshot attached. Am I doing something wrong here?  

I use Lightroom Classic (library of all my photos) and Lightroom CC where I save photos from my mobile devices and some selected photos from my library. I've finished my 20 GB of Cloud Storage and to recover space I've deleted many files from Lightroom CC - All Of My Photos (from my desktop app).The number of files in the Cloud Storage now is up to date (8500 instead of 13.000) but the space available is not updated.Lightroom CC continues to report that my Cloud Storage is always finished.Why?On Lightroom CC of my iPhone the sync of photos with Cloud Storage is always pending because of Cloud Storage finished.How can I recover space on my Cloud Storage?Thanks.

I purchased an installation DVD for Lr "perpetual" about 25 years ago and have enjoyed cataloging and editing my library of about 14,000 images.  Also have used my copy of Photoshop Elements from time-to-time.  With my new computer I tried to install from DVD and of course was unable.  So I’ve finally purchased Lr “Photographer” subscription.  I’m impressed. I’ve been able to import most of my extensive lrcat but immediately found need for instructions.  The LRQ  “Missing FAQ” book has been my main resource for 6.14 but not much help for more recent versions. I purchased Steve Laskevitch’s Photoshop book which is helping with Photoshop.  I’ve found lots of tutorials for Lr and LrC but no written User Guide/Manual for me to word-search.  So I’m looking for the best resource to learn:Which is best for migrating from 6.14.  Lr or LrC?Is there a good resource for learning the nuances between the 2 versions, or for learning either/

When editing a mask on mobile, the mask is now affected by moving and scaling the image. This leads to lots of false inputs and having to undo mask alterations after moving the cropped image view.

Apple iMac M3 Lightroom Version 8.1.1.   please be so kind and tell me to stop the trial subscription. Adobe was promissing that Nik collection is easily to install - it's not. You cannot add it to the plug ins - neither in PS nor LR.   Could you please help me?

I’m experiencing an issue with the Lightroom iOS app that has persisted since the iPhone 11. The problem occurs when using the Guides tool under Crop > Edit > Guided. The UI at the bottom of the screen blocks the lower portion of the image, making it impossible to place a guide there. When I try to use two fingers to move the image up to access the blocked area, it immediately snaps back down under the UI. The expected behavior is that I should be able to see the entire image and place guides anywhere on it. However, the UI unnecessarily occupies about a third of the screen, despite not having any buttons in that section that require that much space. I am using the latest version of Lightroom on an iPhone 16 Plus with the latest iOS update. I’ve attached a video demonstrating the issue. Please let me know if there is a fix or if this can be addressed in a future update. Thanks,[Your Name]

No sé si esto se debe a un error del teléfono o un problema en la app de Lightroom, pero lo que me está sucediendo desde que adquirí este nuevo dispositivo es que cuando importo las imágenes en Raw que hago con el móvil a Lightroom quedan bastante "pixeladas" las imágenes cuando haces un zoom significativo, y desde mi punto de vista, esto no creo que debería ocurrir con el OPPO Find X8 Pro. Sin embargo y como he comprobado, esto no es así de forma predeterminada, y solo ocurre cuando se visualiza el archivo importado en la app de Lightroom, y no en la galería del móvil. Si alguien pudiera indicarme una posible solución a mi consulta le estaría muy agradecido. Muchas gracias

 As far as I can tell, I fulfill all requirements to download and run Lightroom desktop on my PC but Adobe tells me that I dont meed the system requirements.  All of my parts are on the newest drivers and updates as far as I am aware but when I try to download lightroom, I get told that I am unable to because "Update Required: Review the system requirements below and update your operating system to install the most recent version of Lightroom. Or, install Lightroom Classic ." Lightroom Classic also gives me the same error, which doesn't make any sense at all as those requirements are even softer. External controller API button in the settings does not work on macOS. Opens empty page with error. Buenas tardes.Desde hace una semana utilizo mi cuenta de Lightroom desde un PC, hasta ese momento lo había usado desde el movil. Es un PC nuevo, con 16 Gb de RAM y una conexión muy rápida a internet (casi 400 Mb). El caso es que al exportar fotos me resulta imposible en ocasiones, tardo más en exportar que en editar, algo que no es lógico.Sistema operativo Windows 11Versión Adobe Lightroom 8,2Puede solucionarse?. Gracias.

How do I export a new DNG photo to my camera roll?

Hello,Hello, I am using lightroom mobile version 8.5.1. Recenly I am consistently seesin the issue that my mobile edits getting reverted to original raw image. It's so annonying that I have to goto 100s of images history and restore the edits so that I can export it from my desktop. Anyone expericeing same issue, any workaround fixes for this issue. Thank you,Swaroop

Face recognition in LIghtroom (Cloud) often fails to see an obvious face - in some cases when I really want it to. Is there a way to FORCE it to see a face?  I'm relatively new to LR (Cloud) recently attempted to migrate from LRC. Thanks. Mac OS LR 8.2
