i would like to be able to zoom and use the healing brush tool at the same time on lightroom web
Hi all, I'm trying to sort out a new workflow, and I'm considering using the Lightroom app on my iphone -- though I mostly use Lightroom Classic on my mac (with RAW photos from a Sony). I thought I could capture full-res DNGs on the iphone with Lightroom's iphone app -- but from what I've read, the DNGs captured this way are not full res? Is that correct?
First of all hello. I am new to photography and the latest update for instigram looks good but I have a problem. I am using the latest version of Lr and my device is poco X6 pro. When I turn on hdr mode in the app, it says it does not support it. On the official site of the phone it says that hdr mode is available, I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. This is a translation and thanks in advance for the answer
Hello, when I import video file from camera roll it's changing the colors/lighting/brightness and presets doesn't looks like it's supposed to be. Please help to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance
In Lightroom CC I would like to be able to enter keywords and other metadata to multiple photos such as location, person in photo, date photo taken ect. I am able to do it very easily in Lightroom Classic but not in Lightroom CC. Any ideas? Can it be done? Thanks
Just started using Lightroom after a few years away and I'm running into a major issue on my primary editing machine. No issues on Mac OS (MacBook Pro) or iPad/iPhone, but whenever I load up Lightroom on my Windows computer, there is a constant flicker/pulse in the dark areas of the screen (constant), and when switching images in the library. It's similar to a PWM flicker if I had to describe it, but only in certain areas of the app. Navigating in the app also feels really slow/lagged. I'm certain it has something to do with GPU/hardware acceleration, but all changes to those settings and/or drivers make zero difference. I have tried the following:disabled GPU accelerationreenabled GPU accelerationrebootedinstalled all Windows updatesrolled back the current Nvidia driverswitched to the Nvidia studio driverperformed a clean install of Lightroom Nothing has made any difference. System info is pasted below for reference.Lightroom version: 8.0 x64 [ 20241003-1027-def78b5 ] (Oct

You have removed the option to quickly scroll from bottom to top by hold your finger on the scroller to the right (iOS) Please bring back! It takes forever to scroll through hundreds/thousands of pictures. Why have you recently removed a a lot of useable options?/Richard
Using Local, I am getting a "Folder Not Found" error each time after closing down Lightroom if the Local destination folder is on iCloud Drive. I can edit the files just fine and they are all offline, but after closing Lightroom and reopening it, it claims the folders are not found. This also means that a folder on iCloud cannot be marked Favorite as LR just deletes the shortcut under Local after the "Folder Not Found" message. Either I'm missing something (more likely) or these features are bugged (probably not). Firstly, I'll be using some example screenshots here that serve the purpose of isolating the behavior I'm referring to to an extreme degree that obviously wouldn't ever be used in normal use. Just putting this here to avoid "but why would you do that" kinds of responses. I've set the tone curve as such: To my understanding, this should (approximately) render a point near 50% luminosity as pure white and everything else as pure black (with a steep curve on both sides). And it appears to have done so. I only do this to make it obvious what the tone curve seems to think 50% is. However, when I then go and make a luminance mask, targeting a range around 50% highlights a completely different area: In fact, to highlight that same area, I need to instead focus on a range that centers somewhere around 70%: So what am I missing here?
Hi folks - I'm new to photo editing. My biggest challenge right now is effectively removing people or objects from backgrounds. I've tried generative AI remove, heal, and clone. Heal and clone work the best, but it's proved to be impossible in some cases to find the exact shade to replace the area. Even when using heal to remove a cord from a plain white wall, there's a slight difference in the shade of the white from the wall depending on how the sunlight or light hit the wall. Any tips? Am I doing something wrong? I'm using Lightroom 8.0. Many thanks!
I'm extremely frustrated with this. I recently bought some presets and it will not allow me to import them. It says that they're either invalid or duplicated but they are most definitely not duplicates. They are .dng files. I have tried all the methods from the most complicated (using izip and dropbox) to simply tapping "import presets" in the preset settings. Is there anything I can do?
The 2nd generation Apple TV remote does not make the AppleTV Lightroom Menu visible. Pressing once or many times or Press and Hold on the back-button (no menu key anymore) makes it go back to the Apple TV start screen.Other AppleTV apps just use the up-arrow key on the clickpad (one or more clicks) to move to the menu, on the top row to make this visible. The rest is working fine!Hope this can be solved in a future update. Thanks, Lex from The Netherlands
Hey There. Lightroom Is Best Photo Editor I Know But You Can Add New " Ai Photo Enhance " Feature To It , It Can Be Very Helpfull!!! Thanks - Raj Vaghela ❤️
Hello, im using LR 8 on mac 14.7.1, recently i discovered that all my personal presets are missing, im unable to recover it and don't know if there is any local preset folder. Thanks for help
I'd like to see direct integration of MacOS Lightroom (desktop) with the system/Apple iCloud Photos library in the same way that it's accessible on the iOS/iPadOS versions. Those allow for direct import from, and direct saving back to, the library. Currently, I operate a mixed Photos/Lightroom workflow. I don't automatically import everything into Lightroom for a variety of reasons. I take plenty of snapshots that aren't really worth any time in Lightroom or worth taking up space in the LR cloud; there's also a huge value in easy access to the integrated iCloud Photos library across the Apple ecosystem; etc. However, there are often sets of photos that I'd like to manage for a while and edit in Lightroom, then likely later export back out to the iCloud Photos library for general use/sharing/etc. The process is messy on desktop but a dream on iOS/iPadOS. Currently I end up using a mixed workflow where I am handling Lightroom import from iCloud Photos on iPad/iPhone,
I used to be able to select a bunch of photos and apply a preset to all of them, but recently after I updated my Lightroom, I am unable to do this. Any tips? I want to be able to select 15 photos for example and apply the same preset to all of them.
Hi, if this question has already been posted, I'm truely sorry but I have quite a large non-professional library of photos and short clips. Mostly of our son and his growing in life. i started working on Mac so used iPhoto followed by photos on iMac. Due to age and backup necessities I pushed everything to OneDrive. Now this went perfectly but now I have thousands of unmanaged pictures.I'm looking for something manageable (the adobe multi-platform is in this the best in my opinion) to store, organise and most importantly use ai to recognize people. I think adobe covers all bases. but I also would like that I can set up the 2-3 (whether I push my sons pictures too or not) iPhones to auto-push new pictures to adobe So in case of crash, we don't lose anything. is this even possible. and it's correct I can work on Mac, windows and iPad (9th gen and pro 2020)? other option is ACDSee. Suggestions are also welcome. thanks!
I have read through some of the other questions and I don't see a happy path. I am wondering if someone had a suggestion.I am moving photos from prior years from and old PC to a drive and importing them into LR CC via MacBook. I am doing it old school because the PC doesn't have a great connection and that is a lot of files to move. The problem is the created date is being overwritten to today (day I copy it). The modified date still shows the original date the photo was taken but when it is imported to LR I have the most recent date and it is organized into a 2019 folder rather than 2013 (for example). So clearly it is reading the create date. There is no modified date in LRCC. (I believe there was in classic?) See the image if that isn't totally clear. Any suggestions on how to fix this short of modifying thousands of photos by hand in an interface that doesn't handle it well? Will code.
Tengo una amplia colección de fotos y videos etiquetados en Elements. Hay nombres de personas, lugares y etiquetas de eventos etc. Más de 50.000 items. ¿Es posible migrar todo esto a Lightroom-Photoshop?
A smart album to show metadata fields that are empty would be very helpful. For example, a smart album that shows which photos do not have gps information or do not have anything in the location field. I assign full location information to my photographs. The majority of my photos imported into Lightroom desktop have gps information in the metadata. Lightroom will automatically assign information to the Country, City and State/Provence fields using the gps coordinates. I type information into the Location field. Occasionally gps data is not assigned. It would be very helpful to be able to quickly identify photographs where the gps and location fields are empty rather than going through them one by one.
I beg you please add burst mode feature when shooting DNG photos, like default iPhone camera app. I used a camera app "Pro camera by Moment". It supports taking burst photos in RAW format. I sometimes find burst mode very useful in certain situations.
