Samsung Notes has a feature where you can edit your note on your tablet, using your phone for access to tools. This allows you to edit your notes full-screen on the tablet, and refer to your phone next to it for changing tools. I'm sure you see where this is going. I edit in LR on my tablet, and find that if you could enter a mode on your phone which gives access to certain tools for the image being edited on the tablet, it helps to declutter the screen while giving a more efficient and tactile workflow. And for those who this feature might not work for; don't use it. Lol.
Can't find any button cleaning cache in LR iPad version. That consume 22Gb disk volume, even having no pics in the app. can you put a “clear the cache” button for iPad version?
Tengo instalada en mi móvil la suscripción de la aplicación de Lightroom y justo con mi cuenta de registro de Adobe, pero ¿por qué no puedo usarla en mi laptop? Me aparece como que debo suscribirme.
I want to edit photos that i have in my Photos app using LR and then Save it again in Photos app overwriting the original one. iOS gives this option but LR doesn't take advantage of it. Don't ask me why I want to do that or offer alternatives. Many photo editing apps (like snapseed) already do just that for many years. Pretty please? (screenshot from the export menu of Snapseed.)
Why is there so much less storage space on my iPhone after using Lightroom? Can you provide a setting to clear Lightroom cache?
Cant see full size of my photo when editing
I've been using Lightroom Cloud for years - recently I've moved to lightroom classic, but all my (20,000+) old images are still in lightroom cloud. Becuase the sync would take forever and destroy my harddrive In lightroom classic I clicked 'stop syncing' on all my lightroom albums. now in lightroom cloud - those albums... 7+ years of edited photographs across hundreds of albums - are now completely empty. I am extraordinarily panicked that in a few clicks, I've erased years of professional work and client albums totally unintentionally. If these albums are empty and the photos are gone, I genuinely don't know what I would do. how can I fix this??!?!? please help
Hi all, I am trying to look for a solution on LR (web) where I can water mark photographs with numbers to allow customers to choose which ones they want. I have seen a few videos where in LRC pictures are numbered in this style, but cannot see the option in LR.
First of all, it's ridiculous that I have to reach out to the community for support for software I am paying for.I can't sign in to Lightroom. It keeps prompting me to log in, even after I sign in through the Adobe Creative Cloud app and the browser. The issue persists—it keeps asking me to log in and won't allow me to import any photos.As mentioned, it's frustrating to have to rely on the community for answers. If there's another way to contact support, it wasn't made clear or accessible. Is this what Adobe has come to? Paying customers have to beg the community for help and hope for an answer? I'm not part of a domain, or company subscription.
In the old Lightroom CC the Mobile app for iPhone and iPad would not sync or show "Smart Albums".Does the new LIghtroom CC Mobile show and sync "Smart Albums" and Collections?
This issue is related to: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-ideas/p-xmp-data-included-in-exports-with-metadata-checked/idc-p/14957615 Since the October update, it appears that XMP data, which is supposed to be included when exporting originals, isn’t included when I export as DNG on iOS. On my Mac, even when selecting "Original + Settings," the settings are still not embedded in the exported DNG file. As a result, there currently doesn’t seem to be any way to export settings, which has disrupted my workflow. Could anyone confirm if this is a bug and if a fix is being planned?
I recently realized that my workflow has caused me to build storage beyond what I want.I use the LR app on a Mac and when I upload from my camera, I first import all photos to an album that I have called "Temp", which is where I review all photos and delete the ones I don't want before I move them into a designated album where I keep them longer or permanently. I shoot a lot of sports for my kids' teams and share with other players/parents but after a few weeks, and as I add new games, I delete older ones.Or... at least I thought I did.I have been doing this for some time and I only recently saw that the total photos count in my LR app is 40K+ while the sum total of all my albums content is only some 5K. So, in fact there are 35K pics that I don't want but that are still stored on my computer and only visible in the "All photos" folder.I did some reading on this forum and seem to understand that the only way to actually totally delete the photo (also from disk) is by doing so from the
Hello everyone! I have an issue while exporting videos from Lightroom CC on mobile platforms (iPhone & iPad), more specifcially, the resolution at which they are exported. I uploaded several 4K & 1080p footage to Lightroom CC from my Windows PC, let them sync and after a while, I tried downloding one of them to my iPad, but the output resolution was really bad. I tried using "Export to Camera Roll", "Export to Files" and "Export as...", everytime charging the output Quality to Original (instead of the default 720p), but to no avail. On my iPhone X and iPad Pro 2020 they export with reduced quality (I think 720p, instead of 4K/1080p). I tried exporting them on my PC and on my MacBook Pro, and they downloaded with the original size, so the problem appears only on mobile devices. Has anyone encountered this problem before? Thank you!
Running the Lightroom app in iPad. Got the filmstrip across the bottom, got the (single) image in the preview, and various tools down the right ... can't find a delete. Having to come out/back to the photos, and select, and choose after relooking for the photo to select and "trashcan" is it? Muchos Nachos (and obligatory turkey) Raph
I presume this has come up before but I'm so shocked this seemingly simple feature isn't possible, I wanted to share it publicly in the hope Adobe may do something about it. I can't believe there is no way to import and edit a photo in either desktop version of Lightroom, sync the edited pic to my phone via the Lightroom mobile app, and then export that edited photo at the original full resolution from my phone. I'm not missing something am I? This seems like a massive oversight. Phones have plenty of memory these days - and we're only talking about 10MB per photo. Surely any software aimed at professionals would offer this functionality?
Hi.I just find out a problem (as i thought) in Lightroom for mobile for ios (but i think is the same for android too). In the topik i open about it it came out that this in not a bug but it is as it is by design. I am talking about enabling the new editor from early access. I notice that with the new editor when I am in portrait mode it's all fine but when I turn the phone in landscape mode the edit bar disappears and the only think you can see in the screen is the picture itself. So by design the only way that you can edit a photo is on portrait mode and not in landscape mode. So i really found usefull to have the ability to edit a photo in both portrait and lanscape mode and i need your Vote!!! Thanks a lot
Hello,I will soon be leaving my organisation, and the organisation will be closing this account. I am looking for a solution that will allow me to transfer the extensive lightroom cloud libary (photos, albums, reviews, tags etc.) to another staff member, so that it is hosted entirely on that account, is this possible? I have seen some solutions involving shared libaries, but will they continue to be usable if the original account is closed?
When I remove photos from an album on the desktop (without deleting them, just removing them from the album), the photos remain in the album on my Android mobile. They’re removed correctly from the web version, but they still show up in the mobile app. Adding photos to the album from the mobile app syncs normally across all devices. However, if I remove photos from any device other than the mobile, they only stay in the mobile version of the album. I have the latest versions of Lightroom on all devices. This has been happening for a few months now, so it was happening on the previous version of lightroom also. Any ideas?
I have a subscription for Lightroom mobile with Premium features, which has limited cloud storage (40GB). Since in the normal workflow all original RAWs are uploaded and kept in the cloud, this storage space will fill up very quickly. Assuming that I do not want to upgrade my plan to the 1TB Lightroom Plan or the 20GB or 1TB Photography Plan with Lightroom Classic, the only possibility seems to be to free up some space time to time by downloading RAWs with the applied edits as backups, and then delete them from LR mobile. It seems that I have 2 options for extracting my RAW files, together with the edits I made, from LR mobile: In LR mobile, I select the images and export them as DNGs. In this case, my original (proprietary) RAWs will be converted to DNG, with all my edits embedded to it. The disadvantage is that (at least, in my case), these DNGs will be ~30% larger than my lossless compressed RAWs, and there may also be other issues related to the RAW to DNG conversion.On m
Using Lightroom Android on Asus C302 Flip Chromebook. I have a subscription and all of my photos and albums sync fine - no issues. The most annoying issue, however, (besides not being able to save/open adj brush presets, common to LRCC) is that I cannot move adjustment sliders on edit with the mouse. At least not easily. I assumed that I could left-click and drag the center ball on say Exposure or Clarity and drag the setting to the left or right. Not so much. I tried double-clicking on the text to enter directly. No good. The only way I can move an edit slider is to single click on the slider line to the left or right of the 'ball'. This moves the slider glacially in the desired direction. If I become impatient (I do) and click too fast, the app reads it as a double click and resets the setting to the center. Does anyone else have this problem? Am I missing an obvious setting? I have searched for a
I cannot add any photos to Lightroom on my MacBook Pro. Working from the Add Photos function in LR, I get the following message: "No images that can be imported were found in the selected source." I have given LR full disk access via the Mac Privacy function. I can add photos to LR on my iPad without any problem. Also, while in the Apple Photos app I can select “edit with Lightroom” and then LR will allow me to add that particular photo. I am completely stumped after hours of trying to figure this out. Please help if you can. Thank you! Lightroom v 5.5 MacOS Monterey 12.5.1 Model Name: MacBook Pro Chip: Apple M1 {Title edited by Moderator}
I am running out of cloud storage and I'm trying to move albums that I'm finished with to my local disk to free up space. I want to keep everything in my Lightroom CC Catalogue but just have them stored locally.Is there a way to do that in Lightroom CC or do I seriously have to export everything back to Lightroom Classic? {Thread title edited by moderator }
Forgive me if I'm not aware of the feature, but I can't find it if it's there. I would like to watermark my images to the degree that I can in Lightroom Classic, where I can choose fonts and position of the watermark as well as adjust opacity. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers mates. 💪
I'm inexperienced with LR. I'm trying to learn SmartProof but can't see either 'library' or 'develop' on my toolbar. All that's available is in the left top corner: file, edit, photo, etc. In the past, I used to see library/develop mode, but then I updated, and now they are gone. Please helpJoe
