Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

When editing my jpg photos on disk in Lightroom, the Finder tags disappear and the date/time changes to the time of opening. I did not save anything. Why is this and how can I disable it?

Good afternoon all.I am trying to implement a python workflow that produces a batch stitching of frames from video.I tried the slit-scan approach but the output resolution (obviously) is not enough. Instead, I think that blending the images in a stitching process will be much better. I have tried with the manual process and below are some wins and challenges:- I tried stitching a few images at a time and the output is exactly what I need.- I tried to stitch each nth frame from the video but the software fails to stitch. Reason could be the fact that the frames depict a repetitive pattern so it might be difficult to find unique features to match?- I wondered if there is a python script that performs a progressive stitching of the frames as they are captured from the camera. I look forward to hearing your recommendations. Regards,Fabio

In the Android app I create folders and albums. If I close the app and open the app again the folders and albums all disappear and don't save. 

Am not able to get premium access in my mobile, can anyone help me on this

I have technical questions about switching from lightroom CC to lightroom CLASSIC.   Should I first download a test version of Lightroom, then open it and sync to my Lightroom CC? Finally I would then officially change my subscription to the photography plan. Would the synced data contain metadata, edits, keywords etc?   This is very important for me and I haven’t been able to find any clear answers by searching on the web. If keywords are not synced I would lose an extremely valuable asset. Can anybody help me answer these questions?

Hello. Im using Adobe Lightroom CC and Adobe Portfolio. For some reason when uploading the albums from LrCC to Portfolio, the photos are capped at 1920x1080p and are not being displayed, or are downloadable in max res.  However, when viewed in LrCC, the photos are still max res (24mp) instead of 1080p. I can't seem to find a setting to adjust the upload quality. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Hello. LR mobile works fine on my Huawei p30 pro, but on Xiaomi pad 6 tablet is simply unusable. This is terrible since i bought the tablet almost exclusive to have a larger screen for editing my photos. The problem is that when i open images, the APP crashs almost always when i start the Simple process of crop, before even do any thing else (as in the images belos). If i dont crop, the APP gets more stable sometimes. I already did everything i read arpund, like clean cache, clean data, stop sync, reboot, reinstal APP,..... This is hugely frustrating and unacceptable for a payed APP! And for getting a tablet without almost any use, as it was intended for this 😔

Steps: - open image for Edit - tap: Light - start moving Exposure slider, keep finger down - add other finger: touch on image, keep this finger down too clippimg display should be visible, but is not. Try it with the attached image.   It appears that the "hold image to see unedited version" feature overrides clipping display.   Clipping display works as expected in Lr on iPad.

Hi LR Community,I would like to annotate text descriptions to my Family History Photos, At this time, I open a Jpg Photo from LRC into PS as a Copy,In PS I create a text layer,add my description of the Photo,--- (Who, When, Where, What, etc)I then flatten the Image and save it, I can now print this Photo with text description. In LRC I now have 2 Photos, (same file size)First Photo, is the untouched Original,Second Photo, is a copy of the Original Photo, with burnt in text decription,i then create a Stack of these 2 Photos.and if I have to edit the text description burnt into the photo (ie: wrong date), I cannot,I have to now repeat the process from the beginning. My question is:Is there an easier way to achieve this kind of annotation using LRC,that is editable ? I know I could save the Photo with the text layer as a PSD, so the text ie editable,but this still means i have a duplicate(!) photo which is a large file size. 

I have a student creative cloud subscription but premium features are not working on my Lightroom mobile app. I made sure I am logged in with the right email and I tried the "restaurar compra" (restore subscription) option but it says it's expired. How do I fix it?   

The question : How do I get all my originals in the same place? So, as a (very) amateur photograhper, I doubt I am alone in this. I took out the Adobe Photography Plan with 1TB storage years ago. Since then, I have principally used LR CC to import photos, as I wanted to have the originals stored in the cloud and not on local storage. However, sometimes because of the better editing capabilities in LR Classic, or because I got a folder of photos from family, I imported them in LR Classic. At that time, I hadnt realised that only smart previews are synced from LRCC to Classic and vice versa. So, the problem is I have some originals in the cloud and some in local storage. I would like them all in the same place, ideally in the cloud. The problem I have, it is not easy to identify which are where. Hello,   Every time I try using the AI Adaptive Portraits tool in Lightroom, I receive an error message shown in the screenshot below.  1. Lightroom Mobile 9.2 2. Google ChromeOS 3. Edit a photo, click on presets, then select premium and go to Adaptive: Portrait, and select Enhance Portrait, after doing so I receive an error message.  

Import Video on iPad (4K 30fps HDR) after editing and export the result are completely different, the colors change completely.... can someone help me.... 

I'm off grid and do not have Ethernet or WiFi connection. Usually Lightroom just asks if I want to work offline. But now it's stating that I cannot work at all and to reconnect to the internet. My creative cloud was never signed out but shows that it cannot connect to servers. I should not have to be connected to internet to verify my subscription when I never signed out. Is there a fix for this? I'm going to be here a week taking photos and need to work on them daily but will not have an internet connection for my computer. 

Hello, I've trying to export into my MicroSD storage on Lightroom Mobile, I've changed my local storage option to my MicroSD and Lightroom keeps exporting into the internal storage, I'm I missing something here?

Hi all, I just downloaded presets in DNG file. But when I try to import the presets the lightroom, it said "2 of 2 presets could not be imported because they are either duplicate or invalid." Does anyone know how to solve this? Thank you!

Hi, I really hope someone can help me.   I have just subscribed to Lightroom and particularly wanted to use the Denoise AI feature on my RAW files.   The camera I am using is Nikon Coolpix P1000 and when trying to use the Denoise on the NRW files after a bit of initial processing steps (generating preview, enhance pop-up window etc.) on clicking Enhance it then states “Unsupported Photo – The selected photo is not supported by this feature”.Now on reading various forum threads and google searches I am aware that the Denoise only works on Bayer and X-trans mosaic raw files.   To be perfectly honest I’m ignorant on whether the P1000 raw files are in such a format, but here is the weird thing.   A friend also is using Lightroom on his Mac (I’m using windows pc) and when I provide him with MY raw file he is able to process it through the Denoise function with no issues whatsoever!?   When I try and process one of HIS CR2 raw files I get the

Hey there! I'm probably being dumb, but I'm unable to view my images using the local folders pathways. Imagery in the folder is all jpgs. However when I import to cloud it lets me view?? I'd rather just stay local than add pull them all into my cloud... Any ideas why this might be happening?  Thanks for any advice! 🙂  

I just opened a cd card from my camera but Adobe Lightroom thinks it is from paraguay or some other strange place and refuses to open it in the local files with the rest of my devices but puts above the list of local drives and insists that it needs to be imported!  Why is adobe doing this; why is this card different from my other devices.  Does anyone have a clue?  I can see the way around it but why is it even happening?
