Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi,    I have had Lightroom CC (v7.0, desktop) run facial detection on all photos. That seems to have worked more or less fine. However, I'm having trouble going further than naming the detected clusters of people.   When I go to a single photo that has faces in it, I go to the Keywords section in the lower right, with the auto-generated People section above that. However, if I have accidentally deleted a face from the photo (by clicking the "X" next to the name or the "Add Name") option in that Keyword dialog, I cannot figure out how to add a face back in so that I can tag them as a person.   I can manually add a keyword, but not a person/face. I realize it may be impossible to add a new face where Lightroom does not detect one at all, but is there really no way to re-add the option to name a person who has already been detected? Essentially, simply re-scan the photo for faces without deleting it entirely and re-importing?   This was raised in this threa

I've seen a couple other posts by users having this issue.  Want to make another to hopefully get some dev eyes on the issue.  After this last update,  I cannot copy and paste the crop settings from one image to another.  All other settings b will copy and paste over but not crop.  I edit in batches and take multiple photos to get the best focus,  and I do a lot of cropping on my images so this bug is a huge hiderance to my workflow. 😞 I have this issue on both my Tab S6 and my Pixel 4a. App reinstalls have not fixed it. Hopefully a fix is in the works. Hope to hear from a dev about this.  Thank you! 

Because I mainly use lightroom for editing, I decided to migrate from lightroom classic. This worked successfully. I would like to now delete the locally stored copies of the photos throgh lightroom classic from the disk. This automatically also deletes the photo from lightroom though. I would like the following setup: store all raw files in the adobe cloud and edit in lightroom. have lightroom classic sync all photos so that I can also edit some photos occasionally via Lightroom classic (for the use of plugins). I do not want all files saved in the cloud and on my macbook. The original idea was to make space on my macbook by having files saved in the cloud and not on my disk.  Is this at all possible?

Our family went on a dream vacation to Greece and we took photos with the Acropolis in the background.  We did this quickly on a windy day and didn't realize at the time, with the camera on a tripod, that our DSLR camera was set to focus on the Acropolis and not us as the subject.  I've tried several programs to sharpen our image and nothing seems to work.  My last and most expensive resort was Adobe but I'm still not getting the resolution I need to print the photo out on a 36"x36" canvas.  I'm not too familiar with how Adobe works so I'm hoping someone may have a suggestion as to how I can get the focus back on the family and increase the resolution.  I did try the "enhancement" feature but it hasn't changed it much.  The attached is with the enhancement.  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

New user here... I downloaded Lightroom mobile... purchased some presets and I cannot figure out how to install the presets in the app. I have tried Youtube videos and am still having trouble with it....

I have just switched to LR 7, and am having issues when using image versions. Whenever I create a version, all the edits get lost. If I edit an original, it is fine. Is this a known issue?  I couldn't find it on the site 

Hola contrate el plan lightroom desde mi iphone y la capacidad de la nube es de 100GB estoy casi llenando la nube y necesito aumentar el epacio en la nube y no me deja porque este fue contratado desde la cuenta icloud (iphone).  cancele mi suscripcion desde mi celular pero como habia contratado un plan anual este seguirá habilitado para usarse. estoy buscando la forma de poder solucionar este problema porque siento que si contrato otro plan este puede tener problemas porque ya tengo una cuenta activa. alguien ha tenido este problema? agradezco su ayuda

Hello,I am desperatly looking for a solution for my following problem. I hope someone else here does have an idea how to solve that problem.I am using Lightroom mobile for my RAW photo editing. After exporting my photos as a JPEG (settings: quality 100%, no extra sharpening, sRGB) on the bottom edge of the picture a bar of colored pixcels occur. In some pictures its more serious than in others. Before exporting, so in LR this colored bar does not exist in the photo.I attached a cutout of the lower part of the photo to better illustrade what i mean.I would be really happy if someone here has an idea how to fix the problem.Daniel

Just curious if anyone else has found a way to stop images from auto-stacking/grouping in the desktop app for Lightroom? I create duplicates a lot to showcase different photo editing styles and the app is automatically stacking them together so I have to ungroup them. I couldn't find an applicable setting to turn off in regards to this. Any ideas?

Hi! I've updated Lightroom today with the latest version and since that, I can't search for my photos in the search bar.It seems to be charging undefinitely without sorting out the image I'm looking for. I tried closing and opening Lr again but it won't work. I've also tried on different albums, but the issue remains the same.   Moreover, when I was using Lr Classic, I could copy the Lightroom list from Pixieset (online gallery for clients) which helped me select the photos my clients chose very quickly, but this functionality is no longer possible on Lr ecosystem. I can still paste the copy list on the search bar, but a message will appear, telling me that the photos couldn't have been found.   Hope you guys have a solution for my first issue at least!   Thanks for your time, Have a great day   Sara

I'm using LR for iPad, and having an issue with some RAW photos I added from a Nikon Z7ii. I've been through and edited everything on several hundred pictures. When I look at them now, the thumbnail looks correct and when I first open the picture there isn't any problem. But if I zoom in or try to make any more adjustments, suddenly the picture changes to have a deep blue tint to it. This is happening on every single picture from that camera. If I toggle the temperature setting slightly, the picture will go back to normal on most photos. But on a couple of the photos, that just ends up making things worse and I can't find a way to get them looking how they're supposed to. And if I export the photos to the camera roll on my iPad, they have the blue tint. I have some photos from the same trip from a d500 that don't have this problem at all. Any thoughts on why this is happening? I'll try to add the photos to the post to show what I'm experiencing.

Hi,i edited some of my Lightroom files via the Funktion "edit in Photoshop" today. Spended 4 Hours of editing of multiple files (parallel) and After finishing i saved the files in photoshop and then closed all files. normally All These files would be automaticly reimported as tiff into lightroom. This worked with 3 files.All other files could Not reimported because Lightroom Systems that i can't Import these edited files. So i opened Photoshop once again and tried to Open the tiffs via "last files". Photoshop now tells that it could Not find These files anymore... wtfThe 3 tiffs that now are back in Lightroom -> the cloudsync wońt work and also the copy of on external ssd is forbidden because lightroom now says that the harddrive is protected against writing files on it. it is Not, this worked for over a year. Nothing has changed. Since the Last Update nothing really works Any more... Anybody has the Same errors? Somebody has Tipps . 

I've been having this issue since the last update to Lightroom for mobile. Edits don't seem to carry over with 100% fidelity when sharing a photo to Instagram from within Lightroom. I've attached a recording of what's happening. Maybe it's just me? I appreciate any assistance or feedback on this. I think I notice it the most with colors. They're more saturated within the Lightroom app than when the photo is finally being uploaded to another app. Noticed that the photo also flickers between edits within the Lightroom app.   Using pixel 8 pro on android 14

Hi,  I am quite new using this whole adobe cloud storage thing, so I am a bit lost here. I used this "gallery" feature to share photos with some folks and now I am trying to delete the gallery as the link is public. The problem is that I cannot find the place where I can do so.  That's how I shared my albums 

First time poster here. I had created a photo album in Lightroom with ~66k photos from multiple sources in my home computer network (hard drive and network drives). I then using started Lightroom Classic and enabled synch with Lightroom. Problem is only ~10k photos synched over after the synch completed. What happened?

Version 9.0.1 I opened my RAW file in Lightroom mobile. I clicked on Presets - User Presets. I clicked 3 dots on top and Import Presets. I selected my .xmp file preset. It said imported successfully. But it does not show that preset under User Presets.  Please help.
