Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

How can I rate the imported photos to my iPhone and assign them one to five stars? 

My Lightroom (Windows 10) is stuck syncing 1 photo. There are no photos in the "syncing" filter for me to delete. When running the Mini Report, I found the following sync error: I assume this means the IMG_1101-HDR.dng file is the problem. However, when I search for that file, it does not exist. I cannot find it through the Lightroom interface, nor can I find it going to the local AppData folder where Lightroom stores the photos. As a side note, I attempted to added a new file named "IMG_1101-HDR.dng". Lightroom reports failure due to file already existing in Lightroom (which at least visually, the file does not exist--the filename must just be in the database). Is there a console mode to force Lightroom to drop the reference to this file from the database? Any help is appreciated! -Mike 

I could have written this dozens of times in the past years...  I am having a major issue with the LightroomCC syncing process to where it is determinantal to my OS hard drive and user needs.    I solely use Lightroom Classic on my Macbook Pro for my workflow. However, I also own an iPad and occasionally prefer to edit a few photos there.. OR... I have uploaded a few photos to my iPad first, edited them there, and then want to transfer edit info over to the original file within Lighroom Classic Catalog.   Whenever i need to edit a photo on iPad.... I do my syncing process in classic via syncing a collection folder within Lightroom Classic...  So whats the PROBLEM?    I CAN'T SYNC A FOLDER WITHOUT IT SYNCING EVERY SINGLE PHOTO WITHIN THE LIGRTROOM CC CATALOG ON MY IPAD!I needed to edit 1 photo on the iPad.. Created a collection with 1 photo.. synced it... and then CC proceeded to sync 700+ photos From my iPad LightroomCC "All Photos" collection. &

Has the Constrain Crop feature been removed from LR Mobile for Android? 

Help!! I deleted a several photos from iCloud, thinking they'd still be in LR as they have been in the past.  But now, they're nowhere to be found! They're not in the trash folder in Google photos, my camera roll, or in LR recently deleted. I'm missing the entire month of August 😔Please help, Ann

Where has View Mode gone in the latest update to Lr mobile for Android? Using a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Lr v8.5.2. Previously, when you tapped on a photo it took you to the Develop module. There was a dropdown menu top left that allowed you to choose other options to view metadata, give ratings and so forth. That dropdown is gone on my phone with the newest update to Lr mobile. How do you access those other functions on this latest update?  Useful thoughts appreciated. Thank you. 

The people mask is extremely useful when editing on my computer but I've noticed it missing on the iOS version. Is there a reason for this?

Mouse Scroll Wheel does not work on Lighroom side pannels. For as long as I can remember, my mouse scroll wheel will not work on the side pannels of Lightroom Desktop (v6.5).  Works fine in the main window grid and works fine in Lightroom Classic (all pannels), just not on the left or right side pannels of Lighroom on desktop.  The only way to scroll on the side pannels is to use the impossible small scroll bars that automatically hide when not in use.   This creates a disruptive workflow.    Update - Actually, it sometimes works.   When I "click" on a catalog, sometimes, only sometimes, the control shifts from the main window to the left side window, at that point, I can scroll.   This is a flacky issue, however, only sometimes does the focus change from the main window to the side window, I can not realy on it happening.    Am I missing something?   

Hello everyone. my LR 1TB prepaid has expired. I bought a new key on Amazon and was able to redeem the code in the menu where the "expired" warning was (not creative.adobe.com/redeem)The code was accepted but the prepaid subscription has not enabled yet. What was wrong? Looks like I wasted 120€  greetings Andreas 

After update, permanently loading, can not use app at all, either perma loop or crash. I am using android 13, latest app version. I see that someone had this issue in the past also. Are there any fixes? After crash it says that owner of app has corrupted files and needs new update to fix it. I would attach screenshot but it's in Czech language, so I doubt that it will help.

With this update app, I am not seeing the aspect ratio button that used to allow me to make a photo smaller without cropping it. I've been paying for this app since 2019 and sudden change just threw me off. Any help or suggestion of another app that I can use?

Hello, I need your help. I took 100 product photos of pickle balls, racket, clothes, all lay down shots on a pickle ball court. How can I edit them and make sure the lighting is the same for all of the images?? This is going on my client's website. I want it to look very uniform in its lighting. thank you so much!!!!!!!

I'm frustrated by the fact that after I delete photos from Lightroom it doesn't appear to delete those files from my hard drive. All of the faqs on this online point to Lightroom Classic to do this. I don't understand why Lightroom Classic would have this functionality but Lightroom doesn't. Can someone clarify what I'm doing wrong? Windows 11 - Lightroom 6.5

Hallo Zusammen, ich habe ein Problem mit der MobileApp auf Android ich kann keine Bilder mehr mit 10Bit importieren. Wenn ich sie per Share Funktion teile, was sonst eigentlich funktioniert hat, bekomme ich die Meldung "X Bilder konnten nicht importieren werden" öffne ich die Bilder mit Lightroom bekomm ich die Meldung "Entwicklungsversion konnte nicht geöffnet werden" Mein Handy ist ein Oppo Find x5 Pro es lassen sich alle Bilder ohne Probleme importieren nur die 10Bit Bilder nicht.  Ich glaube es ist seit dem letzten Update so.  

Hi! Is there a way for my presets to sync across devices? I have presets on my laptop that I use, but I got a new laptop and when I logged into my Adobe CC account and opened Lightroom, none of the presets transferred over and I have a bunch. They're still on the old laptop, I'm just wondering why it is not syncing across devices when everything's supposed to be cloud based. In case it matters, my old laptop is a PC and the new is a Mac.

Hi, I'm having trouble figuring this out. I haven't had any problems previously. I use a Nikon z5 and download the photos to my phone directly as JPEG. When I log into my Lightroom app and try to upload them to the app, they don't even show up in my iPhone photos. However, when I go to my iPhone photos seperately, I can upload photos individually into Lightroom. I need to know why Lightroom isn't recognizing these photos from the app as I do shoots and need to be able to upload more than a single photo at once. 

I opened up Task Manger earlier today and saw the dynamiclinkmediaserver.exe task taking alot of  Memory i didn't end the task cause i dont know if i should. Is it safe to end the task? Im just wanting to know because it's talking up Memory.

This issue is driving me insane.   Syncing a collection from classic for editing on my iPad on the go, and I just cannot solve this ridiculous issue. It's been intermittently on and off for at least the past couple of years. The official workaround is to move a slider a bit, but I can't move a slider without first resetting the photo, then I can do a dance of undo redo and eventually (no one knows how though) the photo is back in the original state it should have been in when I opened it. But how can I or anyone be expected to do that with each photo?  Essentially it's unusable which makes the whole escapade pointless.   What is the solution? Why can't it be resolved with an update?   Here is hoping there is a magical solution waiting to present itself, even though many many internet searches suggest not.

Hello, Can anyone help new to lightroom, was working fine then stopped. I cant see photos, there just all grey when in library.When i go in to develop along the bottom the pictures are grey but come up visable above when clicked double clicked onAlso wont let me into folders to import new pictrures. Is there any support team i can contact keeps going in circles when trying trying to find a contact email
