Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I've recently converted from Lightroom 2010 (disk version) to being under the Creative Cloud system.  I was shocked when I opened the new Lightroom to find that the whole system of importing photos from folders has been changed - to something far more unwieldly and nonsensical. (1)  There seems to be NO good reason to have BOTH Albums and Folders, yet photos can only be imported to ONE of them. (2)  It appears that I now have to MANUALLY TYPE the name of the folders and subfolders.  Extra work for the paying customer.  Previously, for "import photos from folder", I could select that, and it would open to Explorer where I could simply select a folder.  And then select import - including sub-folders. (3)  I haven't yet been able to find how to the show the photos' FILENAME.   Numbers (1) and (2) seem to be changes for changes' sake.  The previous system/functionality worked really well.     Feature request:  change the UI a

When I used to scroll through my photos in the grid view in Adobe Lightroom, there used to be the letters 'DNG' in the top left corner of each image to indicate which ones were raw files. This was very useful as I had a lot of non raw images imported into my Lightroom photos library. Then suddenly this stopped hapening. Now, I have no idea which ones are JPEGS and which ones are RAW when I quickly scroll through in grid view. I know I can turn on the 'image details' settings but that lays text all over the photo and the writing is very small. Does anyone know why this happened or how to turn this feature back on? Thanks.

I am using shared albums in Lightroom CC to share photos with 3rd party content creators. Unfortunately when someone downloads a photo the copyright info is not included with the metadata which is mystifying annoying. Is this an oversight, or is there something I am missing?

Just made the switch from Classic to 6.5.  When I try to migrate my catalogs in it says "insufficient disk space please clear 1.6gb".  The problem is I've cleared somewhere around 300gb but it's still giving me the same error.  What should I do?  I've tried restarting my computer/lightroom but nothing works.

 I'm sure the iOS night mode feature used to work when taking raw DNG photos using the Lightroom Mobile app. But it doesn't seem to work anymore. While syncing photos from camera rool I get a message Skipped importing duplicates. But they are not duplicates.

je n'ai pas l'impression d'avoir la bonne version lightroom cc je suis des formations  tutos 2023 et il n'on pas la meme version que moi leur interface n'est pas la meme en haut de la page ils ont beaucoup plus d'outils que moi soit disant en ayant la meme version  je ne sais pas comment regler le probleme

While I like the general results of the new AI denoise feature, I realized in a picture that the AI is creating (randomly?) artefacts on the fotos (black rectangles, see screenshots below; left: original, right: denoised with AI 75%)   

Can’t find the photos taken with Lightroom in my library using iPhone?

Hallo zusammen, ich habe mir vor ein paar Wochen Lightroom Premium gekauft. Anfang dieser Woche ist leider man Handy kaputt gegangen. Jetzt habe ich ein neues und kann den Premium Kauf nicht wiederhergestellen. Lightroom zeigt mir die Nachricht an: Kauf konnte nicht wiederhergestellt werden Dein Konto hat keine vorherigen Käufe. Stelle sicher, dass du mit dem richtigen Google Play Store-Konto angemeldet bist. Ich bin mit der gleichen Email bei Google Play angemeldet.  Hat jemand eine Lösung für das Problem? 

I can't seem to get access to my Personal Profile since I entered into a business profile with the same email address. Only info I can find on the Adove site: Personal Profile are not available if you're using a School or Business account (Enterprise IDs or Federated IDs). Why is this? And how can I get my Personal Profile working again? Lost all my edited photos and presets. 

When I press on a photo to export and then select a watermark PNG. I get the to see the photo with the watermark with the right colors. Once I accept and is about to export, the photo reloads and watermark colors are inverted. I do not understand why this happens. This seems like a bug. I have attached a first image as "original watermark" which is when selecting watermark, and then "watermark inverted" once I accept and image reloads. If I end up exporting, the watermark color is finally inverted which is an undesired result. Any thoughts?

When I edited videos on my s22 ultra I can only see 30% of the video screen the rest is covered with the tools this makes editing the video difficult 

File format.....you need to add HEVC file format that dji....I believe lots of drone videos will use LR but at the moment we have to convert the HEVC file format to mp4 so LR can load it

I cannot for the life of me get any images stored on any of my external hard drives to show for import into Lightroom, even with the include subfolders checked. WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING WRONG?!?!?!?!

Does anyone know where the 'Set as album cover' button has gone in Lightroom Mobile? I can't find it anywhere?!?!?

I have LR mobile set to import photos from my camera roll (almost all DNGs). When they appear in LR Classic they have a default sharpening already set. I have an import preset made in Classic for 0 sharpening, but this syncing from the phone seems to bypass that preset. Is there a way to have the syncing default to a preset? Interestingly, I also see photos shot with the LR mobile camera also have a default sharpening set. Is there a way to turn this off?

Every once in a while I try to use Lightroom when traveling.  Usually it doesn't sync... or sucks up my battery.   This time I selected a bunch if photos I want to share... I had 30 but for some reason Lightroom limits me to 15.... WHY??? Then I select 15... it takes a good 15 minutes or more waiting for them to upload.... then it asks me where to share.. I click Facebook and boom.. I'm back in Lightroom with nothing posted or shared. What gives? I've tried 5 times... its extremely frustrating and time consuming!! Shouldn't it work?? I always have issues.... always!!!

Hi! I'm afraid that, there might be some kind of error in the system, because I can't copy the data entered in the information panel (title copyright protection) to all the pictures in the album, like before. Previously it was possible to copy the data entered in the info panel using the copy settings section using the copy settings, select all, paste settings method, but now this option is missing. Somebody can help me? Thank you!
