Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

Hi All I uploaded new DNG files created with Leica Q2 in LR through IPAD. With some images I make changes in temperature amd tone, I see the changes but then I move to another image and if I go back to the previous one I need to remake the changes (or I need to touch the tone slider so that LR actually shows the modifications made: for example I insert plus 24 but LR shows the image without the change in tone, then I move the slider I go back to 24 and it shows the new tone but then I move to another shot and when I go back I need to retouch the tone slider...). Or I see the changes correctly when I open the photo but in the little icon I see a different tone...) did anyone experience something similar? Any suggestion? thank you!

Hi, I´m really trying to organize all my photos after people. I uploaded around 5000 photos into Lightroom. The cloud icon says "synced" and done. In settings, I have made sure facial recognition is enabled. But when I click on "people" is says there are no one to be found. What do I do? I also don´t seem to have the "face" icon at any menu bar below as a lot of tutorials do. This is way more confusing than what I expect from a product in 2023 and I work in tech.. I´m on Mac and just downloaded Lightroom so on latest version, and I also tried to close the application and re-start. Still showing no people. Can there be a delay on how long the program needs without it tellng me? What would you guys do? 

I started importing my photos and see my folders are imported like following, which sounds like 57 of my photos does not belong to any of my album/folder.All Photos: 826Album A: 496Album B: 273Probably I just forgot to specify the folder on import, but I do not want to check each photos to find the orphaned ones and put them in the correct folder.Are there any filtering feature that filters only the photos that are not included in any of the folders?

Hi, My copy of lightroom is only showing 14GB of locally available storage when I have 358GB of free space on my Mac. I can't upload any sizeable quantity of photos without fixing this discrepancy but don't know how.I've deleted my photo library, uninstalled and reinstalled lightroom bt it doesn't seem to make a difference.Thanks, 

I'm trying to switch my plan from the photography plan (Lightroom & photoshop) to just the Lightroom 1tb plan however it will only let me cancel the photography plan. I have 20gb of files in the cloud and i am worried that i will lose them if i cancel. How do i switch over?

First I would like to report my dissatisfaction to ask for help.   But let's go! The images of the sky even on clear days are getting stripes, but in editing it's getting good.. when you take a landscape image to edit on your smartphone the image is beautiful and then when you finish and look at the gallery, the image is striped. You a totally different result from the application to the gallery

I am working via a samsung tablet on lightroom mobile app. I can import and create an album no problem and everything syncs to lr classic and the original hi res is set up to be saved to my NAS via the sync processes. What i want to then do is delete the hi res photo from the cloud but still have all edits and albums intact across the mobile app and lr classic. Reason i want to delete the hi res from the cloud is because i only have the 20gb plan and don't want to be running out of room. So essentially i just want the smart preview to remain, just as if i was doing the process via lr classic. I have looked everywhere and asked in a Facebook photo group but havent gotten a solution. Is it possible or am I just better off doing everything through lr classic then just edit away on my phone/tablet. Thanks

Today i started a lightroom, but this error message appears. how do i deal with that?

Não consigo importar nenhum preset para a plataforma... Clico no + e não acontece nada. Tambmém já tentei ir em "aquivo" > "importar arquivos e predefinições" e também não acontece nada. Acabei de comprar um preset e não consigo abri-lo, isso é bem frustrante. Como. posso resolver isso? 

I'm sorry in my sixties and not tech savvy at all.  Can I please have an easy step by step on how to delete photos off my iPhone that are synced in Lightroom.  Thank you in advance

I know a lot has been written about this, but please help me with this very specific situation if you can. When I travel with my laptop, I use a temporary catalog, then export and merge it with my home catalog when I return. Easy peasy.  This week I traveled with my iPad. I used a card reader to upload the images from my camera to Lightroom CC on the iPad, did some culling and editing. Now I am home. I see the photos in the collection "from Lightroom\ 2023 newborn baby. I would like to get the photos out of the synced photo folder/collection/album on to my computer in the same date-based file structure I use for everything else. I don't need to keep them in the cloud.  How should I do this? Thanks.

Hi, I see my imported files in Lightroom mobile receive a date prefix e.g. "20230408-" which I need to disable. Interestingly, files imported to Lightroom web do not receive this prefix. Do you have advice how I can disable this automatically generated prefix?It leads to troubles when I import the rest of the set into lightroom classic while some files in this set are already in Lightroom, but simply with a different filename and they are not recognized as duplicates. Hoping for advice or recommendations. Many thanks in advance.

Hi,I recently ran into an issue where Lightroom recognizes my camera (Nikon D850) but does not show photos for import.   I downloaded Lightroom classic and they are able to be found there, but I'm a novice and would like to stick with Lr.  Thanks. 

Hello All! I have had a small problem for several days. Does not affect the work between the equipment, but it is slightly annoying.Lr (desktop cloud ver) synchronizes two files all the time. I know that these files do not exist after filtering the tasks. What's next? I am annoyed by a constant background action even if all current files are synchronized. Any idea?Thx

For accessibility I would like to ensure that alt text is provided in photos published to the web using Lightroom synced albums. I realize that the alt tag its not part of metadata but is an html attribute. But when using Adobe generated webpage galleries (synced albums) is there a way to include the alt tag and populate it using existing metadata? 

Paid for subscription for Lightroom CC but premium features can’t be used. Says my subscription expired. pls help.

Hello, I am planning to purchase premium features for Adobe Lightroom. I have a choice between other options:1. Download the premium add-on for Adobe Lightroom For Samsung from the Galaxy Store, white 2. Premium purchase for Adobe Lighttroom app from Google Play Store. What is the difference between premium for Adobe Lightroom For Samsung from the Galaxy Store and premium for Adobe Lightroom from the Google Play Store? In both cases I can subscribe to premium tracking, however those in the app from the Galaxy Store are twice as high for a monthly fee. Do premium services from Adobe Lightroom For Samsung offer more possibilities than premium services for Lightroom mobile performance from the Google Play store? Why such a big loss in price?

Necesito ayuda con lightroom mobile

havent used lightroom on my Imac in a while, i had to recently reste my apple ID, which then lost all my log in details, once reset i havw had to log into my lightroom CC, which i use on my iphone all the time. How ever it wont load the 1700 photos on the account or the presets i made over the last god knows how many years, various resetsting of passwords and jumping through hoops to just log in for complete f**k all basically. Lucky my phone hasnt logged my out as yet. im assuming some how its not the same account, tried lots of deleteing app,s logging in and out, everything seems the same on the mac, same 8 photos and an apparent free trial. Yet my phone is  showing my usuall 9.99 payment a month on the same stnading date. ANy advice before the laptop gets jumped on would be amainzg Thanks Joe 

I'm traveling using my Ipad pro m1 as my main photo editing hardware. All my photos are stored locally on the Ipad and evey day I sync Lightroom on the cloud. But, when i dont have internet and i want to edit photo, I can't. It constantly need to download the original witch i have on the Ipad.  It drive me nuts Is there a way to force Lightroom for ipad to use the file stored locally? Or how can i be certain i will be able to edit my photo when i dont have internet?

Hi there,I edited all my photos on my Macbook Pro and went to check them later on my phone, making sure all photos were synced. Now getting this message everytime I click on a photo. I've seen some people have the same problem from 2018?? Is there still no fix? Many thanks,Jean 

Hi. I purchased a LightRoom subscription. Installed the Creative Cloud and the LR app in it and it says its installed correctly. Im running on a MacBook Pro 16 from 2019 with MacOs Ventura. The LR does not open. I tried reinstalling the Creative Cloud twice already, changed the SLCache and SLStore folders names to SLCacheold and SLStoreold and it did not change anything. I dont know whatelse to do. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
