Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I have an overseas trip planned with limited to no internet coverage. My plan is to fit a high capacity microSD card in my Samsung tablet. My planned workflow is:-1/. Create Lightroom catalog on microSD card2/. Copy photos from SD card to microSD card daily3/. Use Lightroom mobile to organise, sort and edit (lightly)4/. On return home, extract microSD card or copy catalog (and files) to desktop and merge with the desktop Lightroom catalog, with all edits intactIs this workable or do I need to sync through the cloud?Potentially several thousand images.Thanks in Advance 

Does anybody know why Lightroom needs to have the undo as two separate taps? Why couldn't it just be undo instead of having to drop down and then undo.I am using the app version on my phone.

I just got my new iPhone 14 pro and now the recommended presets in Lightroom do not work. I have attached a screenshot to show what it says when I try to use them.       {Thread title updated by moderator}

the first time I migrate my classic CC lib to CC I had a bunch of Pics missing. So I deleted the import and all the Pics (about 6000), got back to classic CC to fix all the missing Pics and tried to migrate again. That doesn't work - as said in the desciption - it only works once. So I tried to rename the catalog, changed it with classic CC again, deinstalled Lightroom CC with deleting the presets and than reinstalled CC. Nothing helped. Somewhere deep in my mac there must be a file that let CC remember ... Does someone have an idea?thanks, Sebastian

How do you prevent Lightroom from automatically Cloud Syncing?I want to disable this feature.20gb is not enough for all my photos. LOL 

Hi.The presets panel will close all the time after update to 6.4Is there a way to keep it always open? I use this all the time. I know the shortcut to open but it was open always before the update.Thanks, Roel

Hallo zusammen,die Upright-Funktion mit Hilfslinien funktioniert bei mir bei einigen Fotos leider nicht. Ich bin nicht "in der Lage" herauszufinden warum dies bei einigen Fotos funktioniert und bei einigen nicht.Die Fotos sind DNG aus einer Leica SL2 (funktioniert meist nicht) und aus einer Leica Q2 (funktioniert immer). Kann dies mit den RAW-Dateien zusammenhängen?Zum Fehler: Werden Linien im Bild gezeichnet, erfolgt direkt nach der zweiten Linie eine Neuberechung des Bildes. Dies ist das "normale" Verhalten. Bei Bildern (in der Regel aus der SL2) kann ich Hilfslinien ziehen aber eine Anpassung des Bildes erfolgt nicht. Es erscheint auch gelegentlich die Fehlermeldung, dass zu viele Hilfslinien gezogen wurden (tritt teils auch schon bei einer (!)  Linie auf). Manchmal werden bei der Aktivierung der Funktion vier vorgegebene Linen an den Rändern des Bildes "automatisch" vorgegeben ... nach dem Löschen der Linien und "eigenen" gezeichneten Linien funktioniert Upright weiterhin nich

I am having an issue with Lightroom where, twice now, after creating a shared public link for an album all the photos will revert back to their last history state. I share the link with the client and feel great about all the extra masking and finer detailing I just spent hours doing... only to find that, a few hours later, the photos are no longer how they looked before sharing the album.I had a small panic attack the first time because I couldn't find the edits made on my iPad when I rushed back into Lightroom to check what the matter was. It was horrifying to see all my work gone, but after checking on the desktop app (where I did the last bit of editing and sharing), all my edits were there in the history panel. For whatever reason, in BOTH occations, I've had to go through each photo, one by one, and save the auto-generated version in the History tab as a Named version. To be fair, I haven't pinpointed exactly when the photos revert or what has caused them to do so,

I love the Denoise AI feature but it takes forever and consistently crashes my LR, forcing a restart.  I have tried everything.  Graphics drivers are up to date, 100mb allowed in cache, and I even got a cooling fan to help.  Below are photos of the errors I received and the system info after crashing. It appears LR is using all 4 gb of gpu processing on the last crash, but sometimes it is only using 2.5 gb and it still crashes.  I'm using an Nvidia geforce mx250 4gb. It's not great but I don't think it should be crashing consistently.  I have the usage for GPU set at "auto" and I've tried custom profiles where I've used all combos of display, image processing, and export.Thanks for any help, I'm on windows 10.

Hello,  I recently started editing photos on photoshop and when I go to save them and continue my edits in Lightroom there's this weird horizontal line that keeps coming out and I don't know what to do. Please help!

Good morning, I am facing problem when I am using my pen for editing, on my note 20. Especially in "healing" ,  "clone stamp" tool, the action point is 4-5 mm away from the point I am touching with my pen. The same happens when I am using just my finger. I like your application, I used it in my note 8 for years without any issue and I am very disappointment.  

When using my Lightroom iOS app, I’m seeing on some pictures a white checkmark on the upper left portion of the picture.  I have never used the desktop version or logged on to desktop. How do clear these check marks? What do they mean?

Fresh Windows install (21H2), fresh Lightroom 6.4 install. I just signed up for the trial yesterday. Most of my videos play fine, however when attempting to play some videos the preview is a blank grey screen and I receive the message ''Unable to play this video - it requires a component that isn't available for this computer''.  The file I am trying to play is a .mpg and it plays in VLC player fine. File properties attached. I am moving all of my photos from my MacBook to Lightroom, however this issue is a showstopper and I will have to cancel subscription if this issue is not fixed.

I've just tried using lrc denoise ai, and as soon as I click proceed it causes my pc to shutdown.

Is there any advantage to using Lossless Compressed RAW (Fujifilm) vs RAW for upload to cloud performance? Or does Lightroom CC convert everything to DNG before it uploads?  The Creative Cloud app seems to indicate that the original files are preserved after they sync to the cloud but I can't find any documentation which supports this.  If it does upload the original file format, it would make sense to use Lossless Compressed RAW just to improve the sync speed (compressed RAW is about 50% smaller), even though there are no previews for import on iOS (Lightroom CC uses the OS to generate file previews).   Does anyone have any information on this? (I'm not interested in compression for saving space on my SD cards - I have plenty of SD cards :-).  

Right panel won't expand to adjust width. The left panel works normally when you place the cursor over the vertical separator it changes to an expansion symbol. I am unable to get the right panel to expand and the cursor doesn't change. Please advise on how to correct this bug

Is it possible to save or export to a drive plugged into usb c on an iPad Air?

I tried to directly share my raw file to lightroom mobile also but there is no option of add to lightroom on .cr3 files .
