Hello,I’m experiencing a serious performance issue in Adobe Lightroom and I’m trying to understand what might be causing it.My computer correctly detects my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti in Windows and in Device Manager, and there are no warning icons or errors. The driver installs normally and appears to be installed correctly. However, Lightroom shows the message:“The graphics processor has encountered an unrecoverable error.”Because of this, Lightroom runs very slowly:- the CPU frequently reaches 90–100%- the GPU usage stays around 0–1%- the application has noticeable lag and sometimes freezesThings I have tried so far:- reinstalling the NVIDIA driver- installing the latest driver (596.36) with a clean installation- restarting the system- checking the GPU settings in Lightroom (Use Graphics Processor set to Auto)- verifying in Task Manager and Device Manager that the GPU is detected correctlyThe problem remains the same: Windows detects the graphics card and the driver appears to be ins
The recommended presets aren't loading anymore; it says they're being analyzed, but nothing happens. It used to work before—how can I fix this?
After updating Lightroom to the latest version (with the improved crop tool), an issue appered:When I copy settings from another photo, including the crop, and paste them onto my photo, and then open the Crop tool, the photo crop disappears. Pressing CTRL+Z returns back the crop I had.
In this ReleaseWe’ve included several critical bug fixes, including one identified by the community. P: Paste of Crop results in an uncropped destination image How to Update Open the Creative Cloud desktop app, then select Update next to Lightroom. I'm having an issue with lightroom on android, export won't work in any format besides “original" (in my case .orf raw) and neither will “save copy to device". “share" does work, but obviously not at full resolution. The error message returned is “Couldn't complete export"Everything synced, attempted with a variety of photos, attempted with album stored locally, cache cleared, app reinstalled, permissions checked with no luck.Android 13 with latest app version, any help would be appreciated.
I'm using Lightroom cloud-native (Mac App Store version 9.2). Across my ~43,000 photo library, random photos are displaying incorrect metadata like the wrong camera/lens combination, incorrect dates, and incorrect edits within Lightroom itself — but exported originals show the correct EXIF dates and camera information.
I have a number of images selected, some have AI edits. I click export, and select custom export. I get a message about "AI Update Required" , so I select the box to update and export, then nothing happens.I’m using Lightroom, but the images are local, not in cloud.
Sometimes the Rest button on the mask section is not clickable; I don’t know what triggers it, closing and opening the program again fixes it.
It’s been happening for a while now. Typing the 1 thru 5 numbers on the keyboard to rate photos doesn’t work. Restarting LR CC works. It’s frustrating because I just went thru 300 photos and the ratings didn’t stick so I had to start all over again. It has happpened before and it’s random. Like I said, restarting LR works again… ☹️
im trying to load my presets to lightroom web its been doing this for a hour now
Feature Request: Local Albums/Collections in LightroomI’d like to request Lightroom to support local albums or collections similar to Lightroom Classic. This is really the feature holding me back from completely switching over to Lightroom (Lr) from Lightroom Classic (LrC). Clearly sidecar and/or embedded edits are the future instead of a database Catalog. Easier to backup/sync work across devices, etc. But creating Catalogs is essential for long term projects, especially as someone who shoots with 100mb raw files. I have professional hardware and storage locally. Lr is just such a better and faster editing experience than LrC. Ideally, local albums would behave like normal Lightroom albums, but with a clear “local only” status and option to ‘sync’ it to the cloud. Why not bring Lr more in parity in terms of features to LrC? maybe a ‘Pro’ mode or module that can be enabled.
I always have my iPhone with me and ding that I'm capturing some great shots. The issue I have with its native camera is you can't shoot in RAW. I like that Lightroom now had a RAW camera feature. I would like to request an icon shortcut to the RAW camera. Maybe a widget. Thank you for your consideration
It would be useful to assign an album the photo about to be taken with Lightroom mobile app is saved to. This setting could be set as a default on app level so it is set automatically when user takes a photo with Lr app. Obviously user should be able to change it at that point as well
I’ve made 54 profiles (not presets) in Camera Raw that I want to import into Lightroom (not classic).Whenever I try, the loading bar appears, the message confirming“54 profiles imported” shows for a second, then nothing. No profiles. Ive done this many many times by now, it never works.Ive checked that they arent hidden.Ive made sure to have a file from the same camera selected while looking for the profiles.Ive restarted LR many times.Ive restarted my PC many times.Ive reinstalled LR.Ive reinstalled Adobe Creative Cloud.Ive let it sit for a long time to see if that helps.Nothing I do seem to make the profiles appear. Here is a short video that shows what happens and the lack of profiles afterwards. YES I know its me filming the screen. I don’t have xbox game bar installed and I could not find it. All I needed was to show what happens anyway, so please excuse the phone video: In the video you dont see it, but im double clicking on a zip file that contains all the profiles. I made it by
Hi, I've Lightroom on my iPhone set to auto-import from my camera roll. This works well. I've purchased addidional Adobe Cloud storage so I have a copy of all my photos in iCloud Photos and also in Lightroom via Adobe Cloud. It's great to be able to access the same photo on Lightroom on my phone, iPad, and Mac, via the cloud. No problems with that and it's working very well. Except... when I get a new iPhone (typically every year, because I like new toys) the Lightroom app on the iPhone decides to auto-import EVERY photo from iCloud Photos again. It doesn't actually import them to be clear; it tries to, which means it downloads it from iCloud, works out it's already in Lightroom, and moves on to the next one. But with 60,000 photos in iCloud (and growing!) this process takes a very long time. And requires the iPhone to be left plugged in, with the screen on, for a very long time. I gave up with my iPhone 16 Pro last September, and this issue means I'm using Lightroom l
I don’t have a question but since for some reason “Feedback” brings me to a troubleshooting page, I think you have some things confused. So, some feedback I have is that I miss the Loupe mode that Lightroom “Classic’ had where I could see image settings on my phone. Having to pull up a separate pane to see this sucks. Maybe I’m the only one that thinks this, but I’m trying to provide some feedback. Just another feature that got removed from the best version of Lightroom before Cloud BS took over.
Bonjour lorsque je fais des réglages sur une photo puis que j’utilise l’outil crop, tous les réglages sont remis à zéro. Quelqu’un a le même problème ? Merci d’avance pour votre aide. Bonne journée. Version iPad
System : CPU: Intel Core i9-14900K GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 RAM: 64GB DDR5 (2x32GB) Motherboard: Gigabyte Z790 AORUS PRO X WIFI 7 (BIOS Date: May 27, 2025) OS: Windows 11 My system experienced repeated hard freezes (requiring a physical forced reboot) exclusively when using Adobe Lightroom. The crashes occurred regardless of whether GPU acceleration was enabled or disabled, whether studio or game drivers were used, with RAM XMP enabled or not, etc…The true cause was identified via the Windows Event Viewer. Immediately preceding the critical system shutdown (Event ID 41: Kernel-Power), Windows logged the following driver failure:The driver \Driver\WUDFd failed to load, Device : Root\Display\0000 Status:: 0xC0000365This lead me to believe this was an issue arising from Lightroom interacting with display drivers and, indeed, after deleting the parsec (Remote Desktop app) virtual display driver the issue completely disappeared.
I have an old iPad that does not go higher than ios17, I would like to download lightroom mobile but I get a message that I need ios18 or higher to do that. Is there a way to install an order version of Lightroom?
I am using Lightroom Classic 15.3 and Lightroom (Cloud-based) 9.I regularly take high-resolution landscape images (Sony a6300, ARW format) and merge them into panoramas. When I try to merge many RAW images (around 80), I occasionally get the error: "Unable to merge".If I then select other adjacent images from the same photo set, the merge may succeed or fail. I'm not sure what causes the failure or what the requirements are for a successful merge.I would be happy to provide sample RAW files to help reproduce the issue. My setup:Windows 10NVIDIA RTX 409096 GB RAM
Does anyone have issues with the following example... I'm editing photos on Lightroom, listening to podcasts or music on my iPhone with AirPods. The AirPods keep connecting to Mac, pausing my audio, beacuse of Lightroom. I have no clue why. No other app does this. But Lightroom effectively commands audio device despite no actual sounds.
