Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

iˋm new to lightroom, and simply can't find how to set up lightroom mobile (on android) for how i want to use it.i usually work with the raw files, but occasionally use the unedited jpg. therfore i want to import both versions, and during culling handle them together with only seeing each image once (not twice, as raw then as jpg).  then later being able to either edit the chosen raw or access the according jpg (e.g. by moving the chosen ones to another folder, or deleting the culled ones).what setting do i need to apply for this, and where do i find it? big thanks!

i want to download a few different presets. Some say it works with lightroom and adobe cc, i have lightroom 5.5 will a preset that says its for adobe cc and not lightroom work on my lightroom app? or how do the presets work im new to this and dont want to pay for any presets that will not work on lightroom 

Is my Adobe ID my email address ? I have bought an annual subscription and the guidance says I will need to enter my Adobe ID . I currently pay a monthly subscription but didn't know I had an Adobe ID . Thank you in anticipation . 

Can anyone tell me why when i send the link from lightroom (not classic) to a client that it sometimes asks them to login or sign up ?  I am guessing that it means sign into say google rather than lightroom. Some clients get the link and see the images others it asks to log or sign in, hence thats what makes me wonder if your signing in to google ?

I got a new Macbook Air (M1 2020, MacOS Ventura 13.0.1). My Lightroom app (version 6.0) will not open. Launch screen briefly flashes on screen, but then nothing happens. I've tried restarting, redownloading, signing in/out of adobe, google... no luck! Help!

The app is fine until I try to save my edited videos to my camera roll. The app will crash every time no matter what video it is. I have an iPhone 13.

Mais lorsque je veux le faire, le lien de téléchargement n'est plus disponible sur mon compte donc on me demande de repayer un programme que j'ai déjà acheté... After the update to V8.0.1, adding a mask and choosing Select Sky gives a mask with very little precision to the edges. It had been working with great precision for the past year.I tried adding a mask to and old image with a previous mask and the difference is huge. Attached screenshot shows it wellGoogle Pixel 3 running Android 12.Hope there is a fix for this. Thanks - Jon

In Adobe Portfolio it is possible to set a background for the masthead. This can be an image or a video.  When you select 'Image' you must upload an image. It would be nice if you could select an existing image from Lightroom.    For example I have a page with a photo grid with photos from a trip to Iceland (imported from Lightroom).As background of the masthead I would like to use one of the photos from the photo grid.

Can I do Super Resolution on Lightroom Mobile / Android?

Dear Community, my Lightroom cloudstorage reports "34% full"(of 1TB). However, I only have a fraction of that amount of pictures in my active directory. I would like to delete the 34% cloud storage,but no way I am able to find the path to the invivible cloudbased 34% files. I guess I probably deleted the path sometime in the past. How do you add your facebook and instagram link to your profile in Discover? No matter what I enter it won#t accept. I just want to add the link to my photography sites (on Facebook & Instagram) where I have more of my photos.

After today's (21 November 2022) V.8.0.1 8E5CB3/61 update of lightroom on ipad, I can no longer copy & paste the settings of an edited image. I click 'Cmd C' which brings up the copy dialogue box but clicking the tick at top right for 'copy image' crashes the app. I use a 2021 12.9" M1 ipad pro

I took several portraits in raw and I edited them in Lightroom but when I go to export and change it to a jpeg and open the photos after being exported they are slightly more blurry than when I look at them in Lightroom and I am editing on iPad. 

 I have all my synced images stored locally so I can work on them when out and about etc.   Recently I can't export them without it failing and saying I've disabled cellular synching, even though it should be stored locally.   Is anyone else experiencing this? It was great being able to show clients previews quickly. 

From what I'm reading, it doesn't appear that Lighroom CC stores which preset I use, and all my adjustments, in history. I can find "versions" but they don't have the try adjustment history. Does this exist somewhere? Will it ever?

In Lightroom (see version info below) I cannot import any images into my albums from a connected external SSD drive. The folder is a mix of JPG and MOV files taken with my Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV. I was successful importing some images to my albums from the camera directly by selecting a subfolder of it as a connected device, set to STORAGE option and connected via USB cable. But EACH TIME the process takes forever, because the camera contains 1819 image and movie elements. I would think after the inital scan, the image information would be cached so it would not have to rescan each time. This is also very frustrating because there is no progress control/window to indicate progress. The application just turns white, reports it is not responding, but if left alone for 5-10 minutes, all the images just appear to be selected from.So I decided to copy all the files to one of my fast external SSD drives first, then try to add from that drive. For the last week I'm unable to get Android Mobile to sync any albums locallly on the device. It always syncs to a reasonably high number of photos but it just never stops syncing. I've left the device on with the screen on overnight but it still won't sync. I've cleared the storage and cache on the device, and even reintsalled a few times and tried again. I've also tried syncing different albums with the result is always the same.  The device is set to store only smart previews (IE the default setting. Lightroom classsic and lightroom for PC both are syncing perfectly. The cat

When u signed in on your personal free lightroom account, and create a cool preset, u cannot transfer it to your paied account. Actually, the second u sign out your countless awesome custom presets and edited photos and family memories dissapear. Greedy decisions, no oversight, or user focus any more. No consistency between apps, updates are downgrades now...   Slowly transfering projects to other platforms to get away from multiple recent decisions of Adobe. As a creative director, Adobe has becoming an obstacle recently.

How do I stop 'Learn what Lightroom can do for you.' pop up when users are browsing web shared collections?  It happens on Chrome, Safari and FF without hovering over the button.   Is this another 'ingenious' suggestion from the marketing department that negativly impacts the user experience or is this a bug?
