Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

i just got a new mac and decided to download Lightroom. After the program was installed and i tried opening it nothing happened. I tried reinstalling the app, reinstalled CC, and followed every tip i've found, but nothing seems to work. I tried the preferences and Application support fixes, but the thing is, the files/folders are nowhere to find. Someone please help me, im so lost.

I have thousands of images in my CC catalogue. I just want to migrate a select few, to export them for printing purposes with settings that only Lightroom Classic allows (namely changing dpi). Is this possible at all, or do I need to sync the whole catalogue to Classic first?

Until about 10 days ago, I was able to post photos from Lightroom Mobile to Instagram from my iPad or iPhone.  I clicked on the Share icon, then selected Copy to Instagram.  That option disappeared about 10 days ago, so I used the Instagram icon (instead of Share to Instagram).  Not as good, but it worked.  A couple of days ago, that stopped working.  Now when I try to do that, I get an error message that says "Stomething went wrong" and nothing happens.  I'm not sure what has changed, but I can't post to Instagram from Lightroom Mobile now.  Help, please!

Im a Canon cameras user, I have some cool presets in them, but I dont know how to download the photos with the presets to Lightroom mobile (always raw). Need help! 

I need to delete several thousand photos from LR, off of my iPhone, without deleting them from the photo albums on my phone. I can delete one at a time, but can't find a way to delete all of them. Is there a way to do that?

Hello, I'm bumping into this issue more and more. After I apply a preset (one I've created myself) to my images, my tone curves suddenly have all 16 points (automatically) applied (see screenshots) It happens both on my mobile and on Lr desktop. In the desktop app, I can at least reset the curve, but I can't find a way to reset on mobile other than double click on each point to remove them. Super-annoying! I don't want all those points, how can I avoid this from happening?   What causes Lr to apply all the dots? Is there a hidden setting that I'm missing? I've searched all over google and this forum to find information on this, but can't find ANYTHING remotely related. Hope someone can help me figure this out. Happy to provide more context if needed.   

Windows 10. 32 GB RAM LR crashes when using subject masking but not with the brush. Tried disabling my graphics processor (updated 8/22/22). Crashes with or without Off or Auto. I've sent numerous error reports. No reply. Would appreciate some support.     {Thread title updated by moderator}

I'm starting to get pretty annoyed when the program won't open even though I've tried everything. Computer and GPU updates are up to date. I have reinstalled the program and it still doesn't work. It seems pointless to pay for a program that doesn't work.{Title edited by Moderator}

when I apply a mask in Lr (no classic) the mask doesnt stay on the image when I switch back to editing options. Also when I click "edit in Photoshop" from the mask options photoshop won't allow me to make changes to the image. I'm currently using windows 11. Please advise. Thanks

Just joined the Photography plan. As I try to install Lr Mobile from Play Store I read version not compatible with my device. My device is a Huawei EMUI, 5.0.4. VERSION EVA-L09C02B363 which does not admit any more updatings.Is there any way I could find and download a older Lr version that would be accepted by my device's operating system?Thanks

Is there a way in Lightroom to edit the fields IPTC:Caption-Abstract or XMP:Description?  Ideally I'd like those fields to be editable in the Info pane (see my screenshot below). I'm new to Lightroom and I'm using the desktop version for MacBook, which I believe is different from Lightroom Classic, but I'm not sure.   I'm trying to edit those fields because I believe when I then import to Google Photos, the edits will appear in Google Photos' description field. 

May not matter much and may not been seen by Adobe but wanted to let someone know the dates are wrong. Says 2021 

Hello everyone! I'm hoping for some help here as I'm really getting a bit desperate at the moment. I own a 2021 Macbook Pro. When I now upload pictures of my Samsung S22 Ultra to Lightroom (the cloud version) and edit them there, they are displayed to me much less contrasty and desaturated than in the export preview (and also after the export). Especially the red tones are affected by this. Even if I upload an image to LR and don't edit it, the preview looks different than the same image opened with macOS Photo Preview. Now when I want to export the image, the export preview shows me the image correctly again. SoMacOS Photo Preview = LR Export Preview = Samsung Display = "real image".LR edit mode = desaturated, lower contrast. Do you get what I mean? Of course, this results in me not being able to edit the images in any meaningful way at all. It also doesn't matter which color profile I choose in the Display section of the System Preferences. Hi everyone,I encounter a problem regarding color profiles sync in Lightroom mobile IoS. - I have a set of negative scans that were color inverted in Lightroom CC windows using Negative Lab Pro, which comes with a custom color profile.- the color profile has been synchronized correctly on Lightroom mobile IoS.- the preview appears incorrect on mobile. However, any change in the 'develop' module on mobile will change it back to a correct preview. Has anyone faced this problem with color profiles? Does a workaround exist? version: Lightroom Mobile 7.5.2 A35FE5/58 on iOS 15.6.1

Desktop on the left, web on the right. The pics are there, they are fine. They are showing up in my phone just fine. Desktop app is having a fit. It's not all photos, but most. No pattern that I can see. I haven't made any edits to the images.  I got a new phone - this image is from new phone, but old phone images are broken too. Images shared from LRC are broken... I've uninstalled and reinstalled, tried different versions. Is there something corrupted on my hard drive I need to throw away? I do sync it LRC but I've never had this issue before.     

I just downloaded Lightroom 5.5 for mac (Monterey 12.4).  When exporting a photo, I am given the option to use a watermark or not but no longer have the choice of which watermark to use and where to place it on the page and the transparency, etc.  Please advise.

The custom order function for displaying images in an album on iOS is super buggy and does not work. On my iPad Pro, anytime I try to drag images into a new order, they snap to odd/ incorrect locations within the album. Other images constantly move around as well, making it impossible to create an organized edit of a photo essay or slideshow.  The only order display options that appear to work are to choose either to display images according to capture date, which is insanely limiting when trying to organize images into any sort of cohesive narrative or story. This should be an extremely basic function, and is critical for anyone who does photojournalism or documentary work. Please fix this issue.

Ability to correct perspective seems to be gone  from my Lightroom mobile iOS ( iPhone 13 ) ?!?!? what a bummer - that was the feature that made me to switch from Snapseed ... 

When I share an album to a client for them to download the images from their photo shoot there is no download all button. Is there one somewhere that I'm not seeing? I usually send 20-70 photos to a client per shoot so them having to download them one at a time is a huge pain

Adobe Photoshop Ligtroom 5.5 Windows: How do I remove the download. I have deleted completely the image that the sync problem affects. The announcement "Oh no! A black hole. No photos matching these filters were found."I can't do anything to stop the download. I reinstalled all Adobe programs and deleted Adobe files, doesn't help. 1. Lightroom 5.5 from Mac App Store 2. MacOS Ventura 13.0 Beta on M1 Macbook Air with 8-core GPU 3. Graphics accelearation turned on 4. Graphics acceleration makes images look less saturated than they do when compared to when it is off. When it is turned off, the colors are correct (looks exactly like the export)   I was noticing that when exporting my images from Lightroom that my images would be significantly more saturated than they looked in Lightroom when editing them. After searching for a solution I came across a suggestion to turn off graphics acceleration. After turning this off, the photos finally looked like what they looked like on export. So it seems like graphics acceleration is making the photos appear less saturated compared to when it is off. I am using an M1 Macbook Air running MacOS Ventura beta. This could be the result of using the macOS beta. However, this solution is frustrating because Lightroom works significantly slower when graphics acceleration is turne

I just learned about the Collaborative proofing. It looked like a GREAT feature.I am using the feature via Lightroom ClassicI tried it:- the person I sent the proof link to could see the images,- but was told they had to sign in before they could select images.Unless I missed a step (I had made the collection public) That limits the feature to people with Adobe Accounts.I don't want to make people open adobe accounts so not sure how useful this feature is going to be to me.Does it seem I missed a step, or is this the way the feature works?
