Lightroom ecosystem (Cloud-based)

I just bought a Sony a6700.  When importing photos and videos on Lightroom CC Windows version, everything worked as expected. Hit "Add Photo", choose the correct "Connected Devices". Then all photos and vidoes appear in the preview. On Lightroom CC macOS, after selecting Add Photos, the USB drive, it shows "No Images can be imported were found". then I will have to click "Browse Computer", then navigate to- DCIM folder for photos- then USB drive > PRIVATE > M4ROOT > CLIP in order to see the videos separate.  On Lightroom CC iPadOS connected via a USB-C dangle with USBCcard, after hitting "Add Photos", if I choose "Connected camera/Card" it will only show photos in the next preview window.I will have to choose "File", nagivate to the USB drive > PRIVATE > M4ROOT > CLIP in order to see the videos.  Anyone know a solution on the MAC side? this is very frustrating.   thanks  

Hey guys, I've been trying to view/share an album within the Lightroom mobile app with a friend. However I can't seem to make it work. The folder won't show on my "shared with me" tab. I've also tried to create an album and as the album owner share it, but without any luck. The album won't show on any of our applications or devices. The only way to view the albums is through the link invite received through the email invitation. Other than that the album does not show. I've tried uninstalling the app but with no succes. Neither the Lightroom mobile app or the web app are showing the shared album.

Hi everybody, I just bought a new Macbookpro m4, 24gb and facing problem with the scrolling. It is not smooth anymore, kind of jerky. The rest of the system works very well so i am sure it is not a "slowness problem". Second one, the tutorial images apparear all the time when putting the mouse on the diferent modifications modes. Pretty annoying... Do you guys faced the same issues? Thanks a lot. 

I use Lightroom Creative Cloud exclusively these days, and I can't figure out what the purpose of the Lightroom Saved Photos folder is (within my macbook/users/me/pictures folder). If it's an artifact from an earlier version or something, I'd like to delete it because it uses up 4 GB of space, but if it's being used for something, I don't want to cause problems. It almost seems like an error that it exists at all, since, for instance, it contains only one photo (a tiff) from this year (I've taken hundreds of photos), and contains probably hundreds from 2022, which seems random. When I looked at the title of one to see if it exists in the lightroom app, I did find a strangely blank spot in the lightroom library. It contained an item with the title and some settings, but no image appear in that spot. Looking through many of the items in the Lightroom Saved Photos folder, they don't seem to be ones I would've saved, generally, which makes me wonder if these are all deleted items? But I do

I am trying to get my Lightroom Classic to accept my photos from Lightroom (cloud-based).  I try to creat clollections, in Lightroom Classic, but my cloud in Lightroom Classic is "greyed out".  When I make the "New Colllection" in Lightroom Classic, the sync with Lightroom does not show up.  My photos are stored on my D drive and not my C drive. Has anyone run into this before and if so how did you make it to work?

Hi I am having difficulty connecting lightroom to my printer, help please

whenever i try to edit some pictures, they turn into other pictures of the gallery.One second i see the right image and then it just changed into something else. Whenever is try to duplicate a lot and wait there will be one that will turn into the right one again. Its very annoying and time consuming. 

My Lightroom CC automatically changes the white balance to custom instead of As Shot the way it used to. To edited and unedited photos once they're being downloaded. Before they're downloaded you can see the rough preview but as soon as the smart preview finishes downloading it changes to Custom.  This is happening between all three cameras all of a sudden. Not sure if there's a setting I moved somewhere. 

Hello. As of recently, LrD 7.5 (running on a Macbook Air using MacOS 14.6.1) no longer recognizes and cannot import photos directly from cameras. I have in the past been able to click the "add photos" button when a camera is plugged in and powered on and quickly be taken to an import window, but as of recently when I click the button the camera can no longer be found even when it is plugged in and powered on. Other software, ie. Apple Photos, does still recognize the camera when LdR does not. I can apparently still import into lightroom from a memory card reader, just not directly from a camera. I wonder if a bug has been introduced in a recent LR update or a recent MacOS update has caused problems with permissions?   [Moved from ‘Bugs’ to ‘Discussions’ by moderator, according to forum rules. Depois dessa última atualização, meus presets sumiram e não aparecem mais. Consertem isso. Trabalho com esse aplicativo e preciso de uma solução

Whenever I open Lightroom on Macos (Mac Studio M1 Ultra and MBPro Intel /Late 2019) the memory use rises very quickly (to 90GB+) until it freezes and crashes/freezes often requiring a reboot. I'm on latest Sonoma but this occurred before upgrading. Have tried updates when available with no effect. Have uninstalled/reinstalled and exact same thing happens. I regularly use Lightroom on iPhone and iPad with no issues at all. Am I missing something? It's totally unusable. Help appreciated Thanks.

Since updating a couple of weeks ago to Lightroom Desktop version 8.4 the Colour Mixer no longer works properly. Immediately after launching, as long as I do not use other editing, the Colour Mixer works fine. But when I start using other editing tools, the colour mixer stops working after a number of edits (particularly after using masks). All other editing tools work fine. Just not the Colour Mixer any more. The only solution I have found is to close down and restart Lightroom Desktop. However this is exceedingly time consuming as I have to restart Lightroom Desktop at least once, sometimes two or three times per photograph.Switching off the GPU acceleration seems to make no difference.I have not yet managed to find exactly what sequence / type of editing causes my Colour Mixer to stop working. Any ideas anybody? I am using a MacBook Pro with M1 Max, 64 GB memory and Sequioia 15.6.

Id rather eat dirt than use this all the time. Im tyring to use lightroom, i have a rtx 5080 an intel 14900k, 32gb ddr5 Ram, lightroom set to high performance mode, this program runs like crap, im not even kidding i think it would run better on my iphone. Why have you done no optimization for your program on windows? there is a better chance of hell freezing over than there is of me paying for this after the trial ends.

First fall all, could a Adobe dev explain why, like in Premiere Pro, we cannot change the amount of ram/gpu that goes is used for Lighroom by our hardware? It toom Lightroom 10 minutes to export 113, with no other software running in the background. I don't even know what words to use to express my disbelief, but unfortunately this is the current state of Adobe. I don't know if it is under-developed updates, new adobe engineers, or something else, but I hope more and more people talk about the current performance issue of Adobe.MAC OS Sequoia 15.6Lightroom ver 8.5

Since updating to Ligthroom 8.4, some of my pictures are not shown in "All photos" and anywhere else. When I select a specific date in "By date" menu, some dates are not showing all the pictures. See screenshot attached. Version: Lightroom 8.4 20250603-0500-10f89fb BuildOS: Windows Overall I have 1000 pictures missing for the year 2021, which is really worrying for me.  

I've only noticed this since updating to LrC v12, but I'm getting regular "Waiting for Settings" messages with photos in LR Mobile (iOS version) on photos which I've edited on LrC. Attached screenshots show the message. The only option is to keep waiting or overwrite all the edits that have been done. The screenshots were from 11/10 and some of them say that the edits were done in late October so almost two weeks and, for some reason, they have not sync'd over to LR mobile from LrC. I have even done a Rebuild Sync Data on LrC recently and it fixed the issue for some photos but not others. If the data hasn't sync'd in almost 2 weeks, unclear if it will ever do so and why on earth it would take this long to sync the information. Unless v12 broke something that needs fixing, I assume there is a way to make this stop happening so that small amount of edit data are sync'd quickly as I've never encountered this issue in the past roughtly 4 years of using LR mobile until updating to v12.

The .png file is the result from android default photo viewer which is instead the highest qualty.How can I upload the .dng file?

Unter den Schnellaktionen steht nun "Foto wird analysiert" und ein sich bewegender blauer Balken zeigt an, das etwas in Arbeit ist. Das hört aber nie auf, auch nach Stunden wird immer noch angezeigt "Foto wird analysiert", der blaue Balken bewegt sich. Das tritt in allen Browsern auf. Was tun?

Lightroom Android v10.4.4において、4500×3600px程度のRAWファイル(RW2)をリサイズし、1200×800px程度にすると、編集の段階で適用したノイズリダクションが適用されず出力後のjpegファイルにカラーノイズが発生してしまいます。この現象の発生については個体差が存在し、トリミングをした(3000×2000px程度)ものの発生頻度は低いものの、トリミングをしなかったもの、即ち圧縮率の高いファイルにおいてこの現象が高確率で発生します。これをご存知の方、また解決策を提案してくださる方は何卒よろしくお願いします。

It's driving me mad...I open Lightroom web, go on my album, go in the Display tab, choose "sort by Date taken", then "invert order", so the photos are displayed like I want them to, the most recent ones at first. Then I got on the shared album link, and they are absolutely not displayed by most recent...Why?!
