Do you have an opinion about the best workflow for an InDesign document for print production with many graphics, both vector and raster? Should the graphics be placed as links to the AI and PS files? Or converted to JPEGs in AI and PS and then placed as JPEGs.

These figures consist of three things. (1) An artboard imported from Illustrator; (2) a caption in a text box; (3) a frame I drew around (1) and (2) after grouping them. Seems a fit fiddly. Is there a more direct route?

CC on a Mac. I am having a curious problem. Editing text often results in all the lines of the vicinity of the edit disappearing from view; changing the zoom level causes them to reappear.

Powerpoint can export as png/gif/MP4. So can I make an "animation" in Powerpoint, place it into an ePub in Design, then output it all to HTML5 using Ajar's In5?

How do I move a text thread. Currently, the thread goes from text frame A to C, I want it to go to B instead. But when I break the thread to C, and then click on B, I get a new next frame on top of B, instead of a new thread to B's "in port".

Can fixed layout epubs contain short video clips? Around 2 minutes. The major intended audience is iPad users. However, it would be nice if it work on Android/Windows machines as well (Edge browser? Thorium??)

PS 22 CC on a Mac. Is there a simple way to add some directional light or other lighting effect that would give a bit of depth to a product photo that is a bit flat and dull? I found some videos about the Lighting Effects Filter, but it seems to not work in my copy of PS 22. I'm attaching an example of an image that is a bit "meh".

I need to shoot a large number of shoes, and it is important that I replicate the same "pose" for each show. Like this: they all need to be at the same angle to the camera. Is there some kind of overlay feature in Lightroom Classic that I can use when shooting tethered to check the current pose to see how well it matches the ideal?

I'm working a big batch of files destined for an e-commerce website. I'm outputting them as JPEGs, 1200px x 1200px. I've been asked to keep them around 250KB, and exporting the JPEGs using the Image processor, JPEG quality 5 hits that target. However, I'd like to know if there are any technical reasons why doing it that way is inferior to adding the extra workflow step of sending the high quality JPEGs through a compression tool, like this one: https://compressimage.toolur.com/

I made a custom profile for my camera using the Colorchecker Passport app from X-Rite. It is on my Macbook; I'd like to copy it to my desktop machine, as that is where I do my editing. But I cannot find it on my Macbook as an individual file. It is available to use in that install of Lightroom Classic, so I know it exists! Can anyone tell me how to get it working in my second install of LR?

I am processing a few hundred product shots (shoes, sandals, boots). I'm working in Lightroom and Photoshop. The output will be 1200x1200 px JPEGs, pure white background (no shadows). I want to size all the subjects so that they are 1000 px in their largest dimension. Can you tell me how to do that? Right now I am just eyeballing a crop until I think it looks like there are around 100 pixels on each side.

I have some product photos on white backgrounds; I need to change them to transparent backgrounds. The Photoshop Remove Background quick action gets things off to a very good start. But, as you can see in this photo, there are still some parts of shadows that need to be cleaned up. What is the quickest way to do this?
