I am unable to skew shapes for some reason in Photoshop CC. I don't know if there is a setting I'm overlooking or if this is a bug, but I have never had this problem before. I create a shape, go to Edit>Transform>Skew, and when I grab the top edge and move it side to side it makes a rectangle base on what the skew should look like. I've posted a video to illustrate the problem: https://vimeo.com/70650728
Photoshops 2015 layers panel is constantly doing things I wouldn't expect and making me think more that needed. When I drag a layer to the new icon it copies the new layer to the top of my file structure. Now I need to grab it scroll back down and re-find the context I was in. This seems un necessary and I would expect the new layer to appear under the original one. Every time an action is applied to a layer photoshop auto scrolls the layers panel so that my selected layer is at the very top. This is very distracting and chokes the context in favour of identifying the layer. Every time I do an action on a layer (add to folder, delete...) my very next action is to scroll the layers panel back to where it was. I would expect to have the scroll location stay the same so I can retain the same folder context.
Problem with artboards and layers in photoshop cc 2015, when you duplicate a layer or group inside an a group in an artboard, the new layer is placed at the top of the artboard and not next to the original layer.
In Photoshop CC 2015 nudge-items are being added every time I press an arrow key. How can I disable it and restore the old behavior? In previous versions no matter how much presses you did only one nudge was being added in the history.
In Photoshop CC the pen tool lags about half second from when it is initially clicked. This makes it very hard to work fast using paths. It literally takes half a second for an anchor point to appear after clicking.
There is a bug in Photoshop CC2015 for PC. The healing tool does not work on separate channels. For example, the tool gives a "program error" when used only in the Red Channel. The tool gives no error message in Blue and Green channels, but has no visible effect either. Under composite RGB mode, it seems to work (usually), although it works more poorly than CC2014, giving anomalous effects when trying to heal speckled areas. This bug has been confirmed with Adobe Technical Support on-line chat.
PHOTOSHOP BUG: -- Photoshop CC (14.2 x64 Mac) fails to paste legitimate Illustrator document sizes in Photoshop. Prior to PS 14.2, whenever copying Illustrator items to Photoshop, the proper SIZE would always show up in creating a new Photoshop document. This extremely essential function has been REMOVED from Photoshop CC 14.2, and it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that this bug be FIXED asap! The workarounds really do suck, and are a BIG waste of TIME.
Photoshop CC 2015: When dragging the mouse around objects with auto-select enabled, Photoshop is selecting layers outside of my selection.
Photoshop CC2015 on Win7 64bit crashes instantly when an extension runs a jsx to draw a window or palette using script UI. The same script works perfect when being run from ExtendScript instead of from the extension. If I first run any script that draws a script UI window (either from ExtendScript or from File->Scripts) then the extension suddenly works without any crashes... until next time PS is restarted. I have tried this on two different pc's with two different extensions, one being the default project generated by Extension Builder 3.
In CC 15, when creating a layer from a layer effect applied to a group, the layer is created as in previous versions, but all the layers inside that group are moved out of group and their order is revered. Hilarious!
Hello, on photoshop CC2015, when i do a selection, if i zoom or dezoom, outline selection disappears. It's still exist, but it is not showing. A way to fix it ?
In the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015 I get multiple Interface bugs which requires me to restart photoshop. THe bugs are offsetet gui and canvas problems. To be more clear. Interface such as tooltip popups, Like when dragging a layer in the layer stack, the floating layer attached to the mouse can be placed a completely different place on the screen than the mouse cursor. Or when cropping, the pixel amount info is placed somewhere else than the cursor. At the same time as this bug appear, the canvas for the image Im working on doesnt get larger. Meaning if I make the window larger, there will be a black frame around the image and no matter how large I make the tab/image, the image itself is cropped inside this small area. A very annoying bug that appeared with the latest version, I hope you can fix this soon.
Traditional Chinese version unable to run filter gallery on MAC OSX 10.10.2 This is second time I reporting this bug. No any answer on previous request. Kindly review Photoshop CC 2014. When delete or rename language pack Locales/zh_TW/Support Files/tw10428.dat , it will auto switch to English version then filter gallery can be use. I assume there are something wrong on tw10428.dat when running it under Traditional Chinese.
This is a small bug I've noticed. When I have selected a layer with turned off visibility and I use the ruler straighten command, a message appears saying: Error 8800: General Photoshop Error occurred. This functionality may not be available in this version of Photoshop. The command "Transform" is not currently available. Line: 217 -> layerRef.rotate( angle *180.0/Math.PI); It should be swapped with a different message saying that you can't rotate a turned off layer.
It would seem resampling in Image Size in Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC 2014 produces bad results under certain conditions (if the measurements are in inches and at least one side is below 1 inch apparently). Please see this thread for details: https://forums.adobe.com/inbox?object... Regards, Pfaffenbichler
Since an update to OS 10.9 on a mid 2012 MBP 2.7 GHz i7 with 16 GB Ram, CS5 is not allowing me to update text. When I select the text tool type text and then return to the text and highlight it to change font or style, the text disappears, and is actually deleted. This happens when I select any text in any of my psd files, or when I create new files.
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQPtB... I have a 218 MB PSD file that is causing me major headaches. Any time I start up the file, dragging a single layer goes at about 2 frames per second. However, if I delete one layer or simply cut and paste a layer, the lag is fixed. From the video: - Deleting a hidden layer fixes the lag - Removing one background layer fixes the lag - Cutting and pasting any background layer onto a new layer fixes the lag... Saving and returning to the doc causes it to lag again. Anyone know what's going on? Photoshop Preferences: Other Notes: - Happens in both 32 bit and 64 bit versions - I have the same issue with Photoshop CC 2014.
when making large screens i.e. 20x30 once scrolled the rulers become jumbled and do not show measurements properly. turn off and back on, ok again until scrolled
The aesthetics of this feature are great, however the blow it gives my performance makes it unusable. I am using a Dell P2715Q 27" 4K display, 16GB Corsair RAM, 120GB Crucial SSD as boot and scratch disc, and XFX R7 250X GPU; all in Windows 7. I was running PS CS5, but decided to do a trial run with PS CC 2014 due to the ridiculously small UI in CS5 at 4K resolution... The performance slow down from CS5 to CC 2014 is ridiculous with the 200% UI enabled, and disappointing even without it. My actions that run lightning fast on CS5 take a significant amount of time in CC 2014. All in all, I will be reinstalling my CS5, and reducing my resolution to standard high definition again... unfortunate that my brand new screen has to be held back to half of it's capabilities due to poor development on Adobe's part.Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: Photoshop: Introducing scale the UI 200% for high-density displays for Windows.
In previous versions of Photoshop you could press the + or - keys to change the path mode for the shape you're about to draw to "combine" or "subtract". This still works with the standard shape tools (rectangle, ellipse, etc), but not with the Pen Tool. Pressing the keys either does nothing or changes the currently selected shape to combine/subtract.
Hi there, sometimes the arrow keys for moving the cursor in a text field do not work so I'd have to use the mouse to reposition the type cursor. After a restart of Photoshop everything works fine again. There were some people with this issue in PS CS6 but as I use CC I decided to start a new topic. System Info: Adobe Photoshop Version: 14.2.1 (14.2.1 20140207.r.570 2014/02/07:23:00:00) x64; Operating System: Mac OS 10.9.2 Would be pleased if anyone knows a way to fix this. Cheers czery
I've run into a problem with Layer Styles in CC 2014.1.0 running on Mac Mavericks. I place a new layer over a colored, textured background layer. I click the FX button and choose Blending Options. Then I drag the Sliders under the BLEND IF: GREY section until some of the background shows through. Now I go to the Styles panel and click to save the new style. The style works great on new layers until I quit Photoshop. When I do, the style is still in the styles panel, but when I click to add it to the layer, it doesn't show up. If I save the style out of Photoshop before I quit, and load it back in after, it still doesn't work. Interestingly enough, however, if I take that saved style and load it into Photoshop CS5, it DOES work. This problem doesn't occur with any other options. Only the Blending Options won't take. If I add Blending options plus drop shadow, the drop shadow still take, but the blending Options won't. Finally, when I load in styles that were created in CS5 that use the
When using the crop tool at 100% zoom, Photoshop incorrectly crops off the top row and the left column of pixels, relative to where you clicked. Here is a video: http://youtu.be/uvmWJmRomqc This is on a Mac running 10.9 and Photoshop CC 2014. This bug has been around for about the last three versions of Photoshop, if I remember correctly.
