Hola, quiero informar que en las últimas actualizaciones he tenido muchos problemas, la computadora se puso más lenta y algunas veces hago diseños y no quieren guardar, se queda pegado para guardar un archivo (Photoshop). Igual me pasa en InDesing, se tarda más de la cuenta para guardar archivos, que anteriormente he realizado otros más largos y pesados, pero no me pasaba antes.Espero que el problema con el rendimiento mejor en lo próximo. Muchas gracias.

Hi everyone, this might sound a bit unusual, but I’m working on a research project where I need to measure the total area of two different gradient-like pigments on leaves using Photoshop. I’ve tried selecting color ranges, using in-image rulers, analyzing histograms, and other approaches, but I’m still unsure as to of how to get "good" measurments. I’ve attached an example to show what I mean by pigment differences, the green vs. purple areas are what I’m trying to measure. I would really appreciate any guidance or suggestions on how to accurately quantify these areas.Thank you so much for your help!

UPDATE: INVALID BUG. The conclusion about periods in the directory names creates the trouble I have, seems to be wrong. There's still a problem with my setup, but it looks like I found a better workaround than clearing cache on every start of Bridge. See my comment. ORIGINAL POST: For years I have been swearing about having to press Ctrl-Alt-Shift every time I launched Bridge, because if I didn't choose to clear cache when launching Bridge, it would hang shortly after.I have tried doing a complete CC reinstall and many other experiments. Nothing solved the problem until I just got the idea of changing the name of my directories...I have had my images organized in subfolders under main-folders named "pictures.incoming" and "pictures.archive" (on a secondary drive - don't know if that also makes a difference). Es geht um den Tiefen und Lichter Filter. In meiner alten CS6-Photoshop-Version konnte ich beim Regler Schwarz beschneiden Zahlenwerte mit drei Kommastellen, z. B. 0,001 eingeben. In Photoshop 2026 nur ganze Zahlen, z.B. 1, 2 ... Das ist sehr schlecht. Was kann ich tun?

Hola a todos, buen día.Acudo a esta comunidad porque, aunque no sé manejar Photoshop ni herramientas avanzadas de edición, tengo una necesidad muy especial que me gustaría resolver con su ayuda.Deseo restaurar una fotografía que tiene un enorme valor sentimental para mí. Es la imagen de un amigo muy querido que falleció por complicaciones de COVID, y esta foto es uno de los pocos recuerdos que conservo de él. Lamentablemente, la calidad es muy baja y está bastante deteriorada.Quisiera saber si alguno de ustedes podría orientarme sobre cómo mejorarla o si existe alguna forma, quizá con ayuda de inteligencia artificial, de restaurarla utilizando otras fotos de referencia que sí tengo en buena calidad. Hello, When i try to open a raw file from lightroom in photoshop, i keep getting this error message. Does anyone know what i can do to fix this?  

When applying a gradient fill, Photoshop doesn't show the result til I change the tool back to the arrow tool. Shouldn't it just show the result right away?

I have tried numerous times to install the new Nik 8 Collection to Photoshop but the tools simply do not appear under Filters as they should. I have uninstalled Nik 8 and tried reinstalling. I have uninstalled Photoshop and reinstalled. Both are the most current versions. But, no success. The Nik 8 collection tools work perfecetly in LIghtroom. I have checkled the file path to be sure Nik 8 is installed in the correct folder, and it is per DxO support team instructions. So, what am I missing?

Hello everyone I've been trying to achieve a blurred edges effect on Photoshop. Hi. My problem is that Photoshop Print Menu is not showing the Epson ICC Profiles. I deinstalled and reinstalled the Epson driver, updated the firmware etc and it made it worse. The print menu now is not only missing the ICC Profiles, it is also missing some sections, plus a bogus menu comes instead of the original one. It wont even read the custom paper sizes. Even if I hit print, it won't print due to a 'missing software' issue. Anyone?

Since the most recent update, when I go to use Enhance detail in Generative Fill I get one of two issues. If the area is too small, nothing happens. No message as before. As well, even with a large enough area, nothing happens or it lags for a long time before finally generating the enhanced layer. (Windows 10)The History list doesn't scroll enough - I work with 2 24" monitors - with Photoshop I work on one of them.Since the last 2 updates, when the history action list is full, I can't see the last couple of items.  Since I often make a lot of edits, not being able to easily go back just 1 or 2 steps is difficult because I don't see the last one or two.  It's possible that the last 1 or 2 are below the task bar. I hope there's something I can do, or something can be done about this.  

Once you have the save for web dialog open and then click save photoshop freezes when the explorer window opens up to name the file and or change the save location. windows 10. Always happens the first time i use photoshop for the day.

Hello, I am reporting a bug in the Czech localization of the Select Subject (Vybrat objekt) tool within the Quick Selection Tool options bar. The Problem: When I select the Quick Selection Tool and look at the "Select Subject" options dropdown, the choices are displayed as "zařízení" (device) and "mléčné" (dairy/milky). The option "mléčné" is a clear mistranslation. It should be "Cloud". Expected Options: Cloud / Zařízení (Device) Actual Options: mléčné / zařízení Context / Additional Information: In Preferences > Image Processing, the corresponding options are named "Stabilnější" (Stable / Cloud) and "Rychlejší" (Faster / Device), which confirms that "mléčné" is meant to be the Cloud option. I have already performed a clean reinstallation of Photoshop, but the error persists. Photoshop Version: 2026 (27.0.0) Operating System: Windows 11 Please can this be forwarded to the localization team for a fix in an upcoming update. Thank you.

Hello everyone.I'm having a problem lately that when exporting for web, the preview gets over saturated, but it exports well.It's just the preview that is giving the problem. I open the file in any other place and looks well. I have reseted the settings and this "problem" continues. It's not really a problem but it's anoying. Has this happen to anyone? If so, have you solved it?

I am using Adobe Photoshop updated version, when I use the remove tool I am getting an error message that is "could not complete your request because of a program error" and can't use the tool because activation failed. Can you help me fix this?

27.0.0 release as well as 27.1 beta (20251022.m.3267)Win11 24H2 build 26120.5751Using the clone stamp tool, and clicking the "use same offset for each stroke" to the off position, I get an unexpected result. Starting with this image, I set the hardness of the brush to 100% to illustrate the issue. I can CTRL+click to set the area to be cloned. Then moved it up to stamp it. From there, I would expect each stamp to replicate that same stamp. Instead, I get this for each subsequent stamp:The progression is extremely odd depending on the amount of area cloned but no matter how I go about it, the first stamp is fine but each subsequent stamp is the same. Switching to a 0 percent hardness is similar except the area stamped is lighter.And even if the bottom area is clipped, it still does the same:What's really bizarre is that the additional area pasted is slighly offset to the left. But it gets weirder. It's not consistent. I can closed PS and re-open and repeat

I have a macbook and just recently updated from PS 2025 to PS 2026. I noticed I couldn't see any of my PSD files within the PS app, but I could see the files in my creative cloud. When I tried to create a new doc and save it, all I could see was a black screen without any prompts. I'm not sure what to do so if anyone's experiencing the same thing and has an answer PLEASE lmk. 

Photoshop has always run pretty smoothly on my Macbook Pro (2023 M3). But since the new update, Creative Cloud (PSDC)  files have become almost unusable.Files take forever to load thumbnails (or just don't)There's 3-15+ second delay every time I open a folderWhen I go to Save a document to the cloud, it takes up to a mintute+  for the Save menu to popup (or it just doesn't)When I export to JPG or PNG it again takes forever for the export menu to appear (even with small files)My internet has stayed the same speed since before the update. I've uninstall and reinstall Photoshop and no luck. I also updated my Macbook to the latest OS.Is anyone else experiencing this with the new 27.0 update? Any fixes?

I'm using Photoshop on a Microsoft Surface Pro 9 and using an SSD with about 1TB as my scratch disk. However, everytime I use Photoshop, it only take a few minutes for it to use up about 10GB on my C-drive. Is there any way to avoid this?

I am using the latest version of Photoshop, ver 27.0  Just after the last update PS is giving this error when I try to use generative fill:  "Your complimentary generations for this premium feature have been used. To keep using this feature, upgrade to a plan with premium feature access."  When I google search the problem, I am told to click on the home button in Photoshop (upper left)  and then click on my avatar in the upper right and it will show how many credits I have. I have 93/100 left, so that is not the issue.  I tried the same generative fill on my beta version and it worked perfectly, so there is a bug in the regular version.  HELP!Doug

I am using the latest version of Ps 2026. I have a few plugins, like the panel from Raya Pro and from Lumenzia. As I updated Ps, I am unable to load these plugins properly. I have tried a number of times to uninstall and reinstall these plugins through Adobe CC, but nothing works. Whenever I click on these plugins, I get a small window completely grey, with nothing in it. I am enclosing a screenshot of the problem for the Lumenzia Basic Panel. Please help me resolve this problem, as all my work has been stuck, as these free panels are very important to my workflow..
