There are often many features that seem amazing, but are not available in my current workflow which does not switch between web and desktop versions of the same app. Having these intergrated into the desktop beta quicker would help desktop users stay up-to-date and knowledable with the developement of the program. Anytime I have a text field that doesn't show the copy (e.g. after changing the font or text size, the text in the field becomes too large to show up), the text field becomes impossible to edit. If the text tool would click into the text field, that'd be very helpful. Unfortunately with text fields, it will only click into existing text or showing text and it doesn't see any lines with just a return in it as text.
The Layer Alignment should have an option drop-down which lets users choose an option "Align Visually"Align Visually will align the layers based on visible pixels of each layer instead of aligning the layers based on Layer Bounds.
I'm adding this to the pile because apparently it's been around for almost a decade. Using alt+drag on locked layers will cause them to duplicate like unlocked layers. I think this has happened to me before but I just noticed it now. Regardless, if you guys would like this to be a feature, just add the option to toggle it off in the preferences becuase otherwise, It's inconvenient as all hell. I would like to not duplicate my locked background layer everytime I just miss the element I'm trying to click or worse, when I try to duplicate something underneath my locked vingette layer.
In addition to aerial lanscape photography that I conduct through the open window of my small personal airplane, on occasion I photograph landscape through the high quality glass of a jet airliner's pressurized cockpit windows. Such glass is distortion-free except for small random imperfections, usually at the edges of the pane; however, some panes have otherwise acceptable minor distortions on the middle area, causing problems for me as a photographer rather than as a pilot. Such imperfections can "smear" part of an otherwise sharp image. Attached is an example I recently photogrpahed with a Leica Q2 through the flat, thick glass of a Boeing 737's cockpit side-window above the Alaska Range with Denali on the horizon. Save for a very subtle softening in a small area along the left edge, overall the photograph is as sharp as I can expect from a Q2, except for the distortion seen at the bottom in one area, as seen in the screenshot of the cropped-in image. Other 737s in the fleet ha
I don't seem to have a side scrolling bar and cant find the settings on the web page.
I couldn't get Lightroom nor PS to stich these 3 images and a free online site did it in 3 seconds. You can do better than that, Adobe.
If I crop my image (Original Ratio) and I click the ruler icon, draw a line the image is rotated AND cropped correctly - over all the years perfect. But if I crop but hold CTRL and draw the ruler line with this "other ruler"(?) the image is also rotated - but NOT cropped. Is this a bug or a feature?
The Vertical Type Tool has quietly disappeared from the toolbar in Photoshop 2025.For Japanese and other East Asian users, vertical text isn’t a niche feature — it’s the foundation of how we write.Having to dig into “Type → Convert to Vertical Text” for something so fundamental feels like a step backward in usability.A tool this essential deserves a visible place on the toolbar, just as it always had.I’m not asking for an extra feature — I’m asking for something that was already essential. Please bring the Vertical Type Tool back to the toolbar.Respectfully,Strong Ninja(who moves silently, but types vertically)
Another Idea that Adobe can do thats unique is making an AI brush. Theres already realtime AI that fixes peoples drawings if they cant draw , well what if you use the same realtime technology but in a brush that can benefit those who do have artistic skills or anyone really. So Instead of just making an entire image for you, this tool can help in tedious task for special EFX giving artist quicker workflows.Let me explain:Say you are trying to paint fire and as you paint (or after you release your stroke) it makes the fire look real/more finished. For making special EFX this could be super helpful even as a base. It Can be used for paintingGrass, leaves, fire, snow, dust, wind, branches, wood carvings, windows, hair, sparks, glows, energy beams, ect. instead of just using a normal brush that just gives you stamp info only. Can see this being something unique and helpful. You could even make it an AI layer that enables you to edit the context already made or rasterize it like you d
I have recently seen that the web version of Photoshop has improved a lot, but there are functions or tools that are too basic and I don't know why they haven't been there since this version came out. I think adding these features would make the program more robust and usable. Honestly, it's very good in terms of AI features, but it's missing those basic features that we love so much about Original Photoshop Some tools needed in the web version:Transparencies in shape fills, uniform color I know it can be done in the layer settings but sometimes we don't need to change the entire layer just the fill of a shape.Gradients in the color picker for shapes and text, Gradients in the color picker for shapes and text, in terms of gradients the program can only put one on the ENTIRE LAYER without the shape filling it which is super bad.Polygon lasso and other lasso variables, The lasso is fine but its friends allowed for more precise mouse-level selections.A
Current LimitationIn the current Curves tool (both in ACR and as an adjustment layer in Photoshop), we can make intricate adjustments to the composite RGB curve and individual color channels (Red, Green, Blue). However, there is no way to temporarily disable the effect of a single channel's curve to see its isolated impact. The only option is to disable the entire Curves layer, which hides all adjustments at once. This makes fine-tuning complex color grades inefficient, as it's difficult to assess the contribution of each individual channel curve to the final result. Proposed SolutionIntroduce an eye icon (visibility toggle) for each channel within the Curves. Key BenefitThis would allow for a much more flexible and non-destructive workflow.Easily compare the before/after state of a specific channel's adjustment.Isolate and fine-tune color casts introduced by a single curve.Understand the complex interaction between different channel curves without having to delete and r
It is time-consuming to locate Brushes, even when they are sorted into Groups. Having the ability to sort them alphabetically, would be so helpful.Adobe Photoshop Version: 23.1.1 20220106.r.202 060a6d1 x64Number of Launches: 290Operating System: Windows 10 64-bitVersion: 10 10.0.19044.1466
I would love to see modern web formats added like "webp" to Automate/Generator Plugins/ Image Assets. I use this feature all the time but I always need to take anotrher step to get Webp formatted! Please add this :-)!!!
I work in a team of people, and I’m responsible for creating Actions (automation). When I change an Action on one PC, I have to delete the old ones on all computers and update them manually. It would be great to have a method where the Action is loaded from a directory (in my case, from my local server). That way, when I update the main Action file, it would automatically change on all machines without needing to update each one individually.
in the most recent photoshop 2025 subscription, there is no refine selection quick panel as far as I know.according to the instructions, refine is done in select and mask workspace which goes to a new window...should bring back the feature of refine selection in side panel, it was the first and only thing I noticed missing,in the new version. 😈
I must say that full screen apps is a wonderful idea. I can start in such a way some of the apple apps (safari, imail, numbers) - I like switching between them. It will be desirable to enable this option for Ligtroom & Photoshop (both CS and Elements) to behave in similar way under new Mission Control stuff...
We need this in Photoshop:Save and sync brushes, actions and assets to the cloud! If i then log in to another computer (at my work..what ever) all my tools, patterns and so on are in sync.ps: could also be the workspace..
Not sure if it possible to have interoperability between the PS and Beta?An example is Sky Replacement. They do not share the same resources in Sky Replacement files. When working in Beta the user does not have access to the sky replacement files in the primary version of PS.
I know that the community has been asking for this, but I was wondering if there could be a special customization where depending on how much you drag the circle towards the outside of the touch shortcut, it affects the pressure of the brush (specifically for people that don't have pressure sensitive pens). For example, without interacting with the shortcut, the brush is set to the lowest pressure, and the more you drag towards the outside, the pressure increases.
I would love to see a tool like the Generative Remove Tool that is specifically tailored to blending two layers or part sof an image together. So for example, I want to copy a garage door in a real estate exterior photo and use it to "close the door" on the other side, I could copy and paste the door, then use the Generative Blend Brush to go aorund the edges and seamlessly blend it all together. You can already sort of use the remove tool and Gnerative Fill this way, but it would work great as a brush developed with this in mind.
The Clone Stamp tool includes scale and angle settings. Adding jitter options would make a big difference when randomness is needed for texture blending. For instance, I’m creating a repeating concrete texture and need the rough features to vary in angle to look more natural. Right now, I have to manually adjust the angle with each brush stroke, which is tedious. Would anyone else find a jitter option for angle or scale useful?
Issue: When using Export As… the quality is always set to 6.For my exports I always need quality 7 because other apps are going to compress it more optimally. An option to set a new default value would be appreciated.I know there is a Quick Export quality setting in Preferences but I need more control, just not needing to slide the slider to 7 everytime. Thanks for considering.
Please add Poligonal Lasso tool or Pen tool with convert to selection function. Without those, working on Archviz is almost impossible in Photoshop on the Web. Thanks!
Hi, I'm trying to automatically detect people in Photoshop using the Camera Raw AI filter and whiten their teeth. Here's what I currently do: 1. Use Camera Raw → “People → Teeth Whitening.” 2. Apply this action via UXP or an action for all photos. The problem: • The current action relies on old BigT / Camera Raw mask data, so the AI doesn't re-analyze new photos and targets the same teeth every time. • My goal is to run it fully automatically via a plugin, without opening the Camera Raw UI, so that AI detects faces and teeth dynamically on every new image. In short: I want dynamic AI masking + Camera Raw preset to perform automatic teeth whitening.
