I think it would be a very useful feature if Patterns could be set to follow the direction of the Pattern Stamp tool brush Currently, even if the brush itself is set to rotate and follow the direction of the mouse/pen, the pattern doesn't. It keeps the same relative position to the canvas. I would like to be able to set the pattern to follow the brush and curve/distort etc appropriately.For example, if I was making a cobblestone road, and had a suitable pattern, I'd like the alignment of the bricks to be able to follow the alignment of a road I paint, like so...The Warp tool can be used for similar, but I want to be able to draw complex shapes/lines and have the pattern follow along properly.Thanks

With the Creative Cloud, upgrading versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign feels simple, but not seamless. Every upgrade requires manual effort to customize with every new version number / beta version. It would be ideal if preferences, shortcuts, actions, workspaces, panel settings, etc, could pull from a universal repository so that tedious step of customization be eliminated. 

PS 2025 runs video rendering with Media Encoder settings directly.The lack of this option prevents PS 2025 from being used for color finishing in professional video formats.It is unfortunate that having the same render engine as Media Encoder the video export submenu is missing in DPX the 25 frame rates of the E.U Pal system.Those of us who started working professionally with Adobe Photoshop around the year 2000, even though it is still the Swiss Army Knife of color to date, find it impossible to make specific corrections in professional video and film because we cannot adjust the exports in Media Encoder 2025.I agree that the future goes by AI but the creative artisanal work in P.S. is being castrated step by step....... I have a request - I'm nearly always bamboozled saving JPEGS from PS. When I save, I switch to another application to send to clients. It happens that I forget to pause and wait for the quality sllider to pop up. It's always delayed, and I always move on too quickly. Wouldnt it be great if those settings could be defaulted in the PS settings OR could be baked into the initial save options.  Does that make sense!? Thanks! -J

The paint bucket leaves a white edge between the fill and line, and this has been so for ages.  Easy fix: By adding an option that lets you expand the fill by -- pixelsBetter fix: On top of that option, change the algorithm so it works more intuitively. Extra option: background color selection, so the tool knows what color it can fill.

When I want to export an empty image, no matter what way, I get the warning "The image is empty" and I'm not allowed to export it.This is meant to be feature I guess, but webdesigners do need empty images sometimes.See image:

Photoshop Camera raw should add photo references just like in Lightroom 

I use the pencil tool a lot, but the shortcuts don't support mode switching for the pencil, hopefully it can be updated in the next version!

We use it heavy gaming, video making etc. We have no graphic design software. I am a graphic designer and I work on mobile. We use pixellab software, picsart software, Lightroom. But we have not many tools that's way we do not make any design professionally. I hope you can understand my or other people problem. We need a Photoshop mobile software.     Please create a Photoshop mobile software. I am highly request that please make this type app. We need this app because We can't build a PC for money problem. 

Bei der Fotobearbeitung hat man i.d.R. das "Ebenen"-Fenster permanent auf dem Bildschirm, und daneben auch andere Fenster, mit welchen man regelmäßig arbeitet. Das Foto hat Platz im Hauptfenster, und es ist von Vorteil, wenn dieses nicht allzu klein ist. Dabei soll das Bild darin nicht hinter schwebenden Fenstern verschwinden - eine klare Teilung zwischen Haupfenster mit Bild und "Bedienbereich" statt Chaos. Ich nenne es Ergonomie. *Falls PS in Deutsch läuft, ist das "Ebenen"-Fenster um bis 1/3 breiter als in PS in Englisch. Auf meinem 27"-Bildschirm macht es etwa 2 cm aus, wenn ich als Fontgröße "sehr klein" wähle (siehe Anhang). Sonst ist der Unterschied noch größer. Auf meinem kleinen MacBook Air ist dieser Unterschied sogar 40% (!).Eine solche Platzverschwendung fällt negativ auf, und ist meiner Meinung nach völlig unnötig. Von Adobe erfuhr ich, dass dies kein "bug" sondern ein "bekannter Nebeneffekt der Lokalisierung" ist. Wozu es gut sein soll habe ich nicht erfahren.Ich denke mi

I'm really missing a true full screen option in PS.  What I mean is some shortcut (I know about the "F") that displays and image in 100% zoom, centered, no rulers, borders, anything. Pixel to pixel. In case I have a 4k image, press this full screen, it would simply fill every pixel of my 4k screen with an image. That's it, nothing else. If such plugin (not action) exists, please let me know. I cannot believe this does not yet exist in Photoshop.

Wouldn't it be great to be able to use more colours than the 7 defaults for colour coding layers and groups? They're a great way (along with proper naming) to organise complex documents, but having only seven default colours to choose from means they start to become duplicated which pretty much defeats the purpose. Would be really useful to have the ability (much like with Indesign and Illustrator) to use a wider palette of colours to colour code layers and groups.

It's a feature request (or a bug fix request).Please, don't suggest any "alternatives" in this topic, we've already discussed them here. When I need to merge several layers, I Shift + select them and Ctrl+E, but I get the name of the top one (and lose the color label). Merged result Though when I turn off the visibility of all other layers, select the corresponding layer and click "Merge visible", I get what I need 🙂 But it's too many extra clicks. I want PS to consider what layer I select first and retain its name & color label.When we need to merge several layers (not all), most likely the bottom one is the main and the others above it are patches & adjustments.  

Feature Request: "Current & Below" sampling mode for Mixer Brush Tool Dear Adobe Team, I'm a professional Photoshop user working primarily with high-end retouching and compositing. One of the limitations I often face is with the Mixer Brush Tool, which currently lacks the ability to sample using a “Current & Below” mode — like the one available in the Clone Stamp and Healing tools. This feature would allow the Mixer Brush to sample from the active layer and those beneath it (excluding adjustment or overlay layers above), while painting on a separate empty layer. This is crucial for maintaining a non-destructive workflow, especially when doing precise retouching on skin, hair, or other detailed surface blending. Right now, using "Sample All Layers" often introduces unwanted data from layers above, which contaminates the color and makes the Mixer Brush unreliable for high-level control. When working with video timeline  I am painting and panning the canvas with the space bar key. But when I press spacebar and not pan it starts to play the timeline and the play head moves to the next layer which is very annoying. This problem was reported a long time ago but the problem is not fixed yet. There whould be a way to disable the shortcut key for the play button in the video timeline. Else the video time line is a feature of no use for animation artists trying to create animations in Photoshop. Just cant work with this. Please fix the problem. Its been really long since this bug got fixed.

I've been using Generative Fill a few months to change photos.  In the last week, it seems to have gotten dumber.  One example is to select a head and enter "cowboy hat."  Before, it wasn't perfect, but everything that came out was essentially a cowboy hat.  Now, I'm getting so much content that is clearly not a cowboy hat - baseball caps, beanies, berets?!  A cowboy hat appears maybe 20% of the time, and worse quality.  This is disappointing, I hope you can fix this because it's such a cool feature when it works.

I know Photoshop isn't a program primarily focused on animation but I think a simple ease-in/out feature for the timeline would be greatly beneficial for users who do animate using Photoshop. Currently, I am limited to manually creating keyframes to either slow down or speed up a simple zoom out/in, for example. While, through practice, I have achieved the desired effects by doing it manually, it'd be a huge time saver to have a function that does this for me automatically. I personally am a big fan of Photoshop's timeline feature because it's simple and intuitive for users such as myself who have been using Photoshop for 20+ years. I hope you consider this idea. thank you!

Updating the Adapative Wide Angle (AWA) filter.Just a thought on updating the AWA filter. When drawing a line to straighten objects in the photo it is difficult to see the change from the line drawn. This is due to no change in how far you move the line to straighten from the baseline reference point. If a color can be added to show the deviation from baseline this would be make it far easier. Especially those who are sight challenged and a real time saver.Another nice change would be to have the ability to extend the canvas once a primary object extends outside the image. 

Image generation is a frustrating process if you know what you want but the results aren't satisfying. It doesn't matter if I get 3 choices if none of them are giving me what I want. I appreciate Adobe's features such as Style Reference, Composition Reference, and Generate Similar. But after I used ChatGPT 4o's image generation process I realized how efficient it was to have a conversation with the AI to reach your desired goal. It felt very natural, like art directing a junior designer. I think it would be great if they created an alternate generation panel that was more of a chat bot. Don't give me 3 generation options. I'd rather have one. Then I give additional feedback to fine-tune the image and the AI takes it's time to incorporate it. I can even add my image references in the chat. And the image references can be about anything in the composition. For instance I could say, "Make the corners of the shape similar to the way this reference looks".

Dear Adobe Support, I’m writing to express my concern and frustration regarding a recent change made to Photoshop CC. As a long-time user and supporter of Adobe products, I’ve always appreciated the powerful tools and capabilities your software provides. However, this recent update has significantly impacted my workflow and overall user experience. Specifically, I’m unhappy with the following: I used to be able to Alt + right mouse button drag to change the brush hardness, this has been altered to change brush opacity, something that I could already do by pressing a number key. Please simplify create stroke with brushes.  Ideally i would be able to use brush settings as a stroke in real time as i create the path.  

I am not happy with the choices and direction that Gen AI is going.  I do not like having my intelectual Property placed into cloud servers from my device and then inserting external material which I view as not appropiate and unethical. I do a remove person with Gen AI and I get a new face inserted that was not at the wedding and no one knows them--is not acceptable.  I do welcome Gen Ai but only when it runs locally and when it only uses materials in my system collection.   For Example, I shoot 3-4000 images at a wedding and if I need to fix backgrounds, faces, dresses, etc I have lots of content to chose from which Gen AI could help with.  Content fill seems to only work within the image that is open.  Have content fill generated across 3000 different images would be great.  I can do the work as I always have copying and pasting manually is the current work flow.  That is what an AI could help with.  That includes, remove, extend, selecti
