Snapable image corners for any number of tools or, more specifically, the elliptical marque tool in Photoshop. For those occassions when preciscely placing the round peg in the square hole is de rigeur, or however that is spelled.
Allow text to be aligned vertically in a bounding box for textThis is the corresponding tool in InDesign
I use a lot of paths for detailed retouching. I often run out of pallet space and have to scroll thru my paths to find the one(s) I need.It would be a big plus if the paths could be organized into groups just like the layers pallet.
Edit>Preferences>Interface>Appearance>Color ThemeCurrently there are 4 options: Charcoal Grey, Grey, Light Grey and WhiteWould love a Deep Dark True/Solid Black option, or perhaps a slider to make the charcoal grey much darker please
Dear Adobe Team,My name is Gabriel Nahum, and I am from Israel. I have been a loyal and enthusiastic user of Adobe products, particularly Photoshop, for a long time. First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude for creating such an outstanding and high-quality software that allows me to bring my creativity to life in a professional and accessible way. However, as a user from Israel, I encounter significant difficulties using Photoshop because the software is not available in Hebrew. I believe that many other users in Israel would highly appreciate the option to work with an interface in their native language. Hebrew, being one of the leading languages in the Middle East, could open up a larger audience for Adobe, as there are users who currently struggle to fully utilize the potential of the software.I understand that adding a new language requires resources, but I am confident that this investment would be worthwhile in the long run and would benefit the growing community o
I make large graphics that cover parts of football fields and use artboards to divide up the graphic into smaller sections. Artboard bleed setting similar to Illustrator:Currently working on one that is 8' h x 80' wide. I need to divide this into 10 equal 8'x8' prints that need about 6" of bleed per side. I generally go to illustrator to create the artboards/bleed in there. I'd love to remove that step and have artboards work in PS with bleed settings like they do in illustraor. Remove the auto gap when adding a new artboard:Sometimes I don't need bleed so I use PS to generate artboards/individual prints. When creating each artboard I make one then hit the "+" symbol to the right. When PS creates a new one, it automatically adds a gap between the new one and the old one.,. This gap can turn into a costly mistake. I'd love to be able to edit that gap to 0".Currently I manually drag it back to snap up against the previous artboard. There is no way that I have found to type in a
Please watch my screen recording here. The slider only has 7 steps of quality. I want it to have 100 steps (like it used to have a few years ago). Why? I need to export images at a specific file size for my online ads. The large jumps in quality and files size with the 7-step slider don't give me the precision that I need. Everything else in Photoshop gives me precise control.... down to the pixel. So why not also make the "export as" jpg have precision? And please do NOT refer me to "Save for web (legacy)". We don't want to go backward. This simply needs to be standard.
Every time I open Photoshop to get to work, I get this. There is a reason I'm using the version that I'm using and no matter how many popups I get, I'm not going to update PS versions. I'm going to switch to Affinity. I loathe "GenAI" - it's lazy, harmful to the environment, and it has no place in my work. I believe it's offensive to the idea of being a creative. More than that I need Photoshop to not *get in my way* while I'm trying to clock in for the day.If the friction I experience while attempting to avoid unwated AI popups/features/(chat bots while I'm trying to get adobe support??) starts to get near the friction I would experience migrating to a new suite of programs, then I'll just do that. I've been a PS user for 20 years at this point and this is finally pushing me away.
Now that the cloud can select subjects and generative AI can create new things, why not try to combine the capabilities of both by allowing the user to prompt via text what they want selected? AI Select Prompting examples:Select the Hand in this imageSelect the dog in the foregroundSelect the hand holding the leash and the dog...
Not being able to edit the choices on the "Save file type" list is very annoying. I use three or four choices so having to go through 25 each time wastes a lot of time. If I could hide the options I never use that would be terrific.
Hello,I often work with the polygonal lasso tool. The problem is that if you click too quickly 2 in a row, well the selection closes. This could be interesting for people who are looking for this.As far as I'm concerned, I'm NOT looking for that at all. When I make a selection with the polygonal lasso tool, I sometimes close the selection by mistake, and then I have to start all over again (there's no going back once the selection has been closed...!!!).Where is the option to disable this behaviour? The option doesn't exist, is it possible to add it as soon as possible please?MANY THANKS 😊 PS:A similar request here (2010 already… !!!)https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/how-to-undo-unintended-double-click-in-a-long-selection/td-p/2640701

As a video VFX artist we are using photoshop alot for edit imagery, clean up plates, removing objects ect.But when you drop a LOG video file (10bit/12bit/14bit) color into photoshop it will always be a 8bit composition! Would love to have a function to keep working in Float, so you can export to AE/Nuke and keep all colordata!
I have been successful in executing a script to Fit Image on Screen when Photoshop opens a file ... that is most of the time. The one time it does not work is when I have a brand new (typically Raw) file that I open with Camera Raw. When I am done manipulating the image in Camera Raw, I click the Open button to pass the new image to Photoshop. Keep in mind that Photoshop has never seen this file before. When Camera Raw passes the image to Photoshop, I assume that Photoshop creates a new document and then the user can process the image further. From what I have read online, Photoshop does not create an event that I can hook my script to via the Scripts Event Manager similar to what I can do with Open Document. If this is true, would you kindly create an event that I can hook to via the Scripts Event Manager when a document is created at the time Camera Raw passes the image to Photoshop.
Zooming in and out in the Liquify workspace is a pain, because it uses the standard "non-scrubby" zoom method, which is outdated and clumsy to use. Basically all other workspaces support the scrubby zoom feature and it's very jarring when you think it would work in Liquify, only to do a Ctrl+Space+Drag and zoom in at 8000%, then spamming Ctrl+Minus to zoom out. It happens to me all the time and it drives me insane. Another thing about Liquify is the lack of Overscroll, which is another inconsistency between it and the other workspaces and makes working in it clumsier than it should be.
With windows it's very very annoying that the save-as option does not remember last export setting and path! please take a look to Illustrator, they got this right.
There seems to be three ways to use generative fill. But all are missing key elements. Is there a way to use generative workspace but control the pixel size of the final image? Or a way to use a composition reference image on the other generative fill options? It’s also weird you can’t see all the art styles together (via the "all" category) in generative workspace like you can in the other sections. But I can get around that. It just basically creates a treasure hunt aspect for no reason. Thank you.
The AdobeCare twitter informed me there is no such thing and to post it as a request here, so, here we are. With the Photoshop CC 2019 update came a live preview of layer blending modes. While I appreciate this will help people who aren't entirely familiar with what each blend mode will do and aren't sure about which one they would rather use, for me this 'feature' is a huge problem. To get the simple part out of the way first, I'll just say that I have no use whatsoever for a preview of the layer blend modes. I know what each mode does, I know the results I'll get, I use the layer blend modes in very specific ways for very specific tasks and I've no need for a preview of the results. The more complicated part which needs more explanation is that I have a significant sensory disability which is not entirely unlike epilepsy. (It's not the same, but that's the quickest way to illustrate to you what I'm talking about.) When I pull up the layer blend mode menu now, due to the live preview, I'
I'd like to request the ability to select a percentage in the offset filter instead of just being limited to specifying a specific pixel amount to offset horizontally and/or vertically. Generally speaking, I pretty much only offset images by 50%, and it would be a lot easier to just select a percentage than to have to divide the total number of pixels by 2. Also, if the offset filter had the option to offset by percentage, then I would be able to record actions for it, which would speed up my workflow. Having to select the specific number of pixels I want to offset by prevents me recording actions because each different image size would require a different number of pixels in the offset filter.I'd greatly appreciate this feature being added. It would make using this filter less annoying, and faster to use. Thanks!
Im really sick of not seeing anything when I save an image. I work in Full screen mode, I have to get out of that in order to see the tiny "save" at the bottom of the info panel of the image. very tedious and stupid. Can we least have an option of seeing things SAVE, it is important to see it and know it happened. I dont understand why it has to be hidden. During a Save you cant do anything anyway. It was way better to see it happen and know it is being completed. whoever got rid of it a long time ago......I really hate it. Please bring it back.
I have brushes that I have made edits to in Fresco that I would love to be able to use in Photoshop.
I've been using PS for nearly 20 years and have always been frustrated by the actions panel. I use button view and have quite a collection of actions to help process images, perhaps too many. It's VERY time consuming to scroll through them all trying to locate the one I want to use. I know them by name or what they do for me, but locating them is difficult as the are not loaded alphabetically. For years, I've been trying to figure out where the search bar is to simply type in the action name to locate and implement a specific action I want to use. I've never found this and it seems quite obvious, rudimentary and necessary for efficiency when processing photos. Why can't I find this?? Please tell me there IS a search bar option to alleviate the time suck that searching row by row for a name in a sea of hundreds can be?!!! It's baffling that a beast of a program like PS would not have a simple, time saving, tool like this. Also, is it possible to create multiple tabs in
The new "People" mask features in Camera Raw and Lightroom are so much more powerful than Select and Mask in Photoshop. I love being able to select pupil and iris, facial skin, hair, clothes, etc. without having to refine the masks in Select and Mask. Please add these awesome features to the selection tools in Photoshop!
It would be pleased to see thet we can connect a layer to displace effetct as displacement map, instead of separated file only. Displace effect could be a bit more adjustable with more, or more precise settings.(possibly normal maps can be used as an option too) 😉
HiCan we have square brush on remove tool, it can go on corners easy. and please it can rotate too. Thank you
