Photoshop

Can someone help me with this, i tried to install the Fx Box plugin and then this message appears I am using mac book pro 2020 M1, Photoshop 2023 v24.0.0

Hi I'm  having issues in PS where my images won't open as layers when I choose Edit > Open as Layers in PS. PS will open and a couple of layers will work but it then stops with 2 tabs open, one of the tabs could have a couple of images as layers, but will include a layer saying 'Load Layers' and then another tab will have one of the other images on it.  Not all images have also been loaded. Anyone got any ideas what's happening?   

I want to create a simple Adobe Bridge metadata template where the only change is to add the existing filename to the metadata title.   i.e. my filename is; Some exciting descriptive title.jpg and I want that image metadata title to be Some exciting descriptive title.  This will be used to batch-update a folder of carefully named images so each carries its filename in the metadata title of that image. I have many hundred images to process once I get this working. Cut-and-past the filename is a non-starter. I have tried many things, including the above, which, of course, does not work.Any guidance is gratefully accepted, Regards Paul

I download photoshop from creative cloud but i get this error when use generative fill: to access firefly-powered you must have genuine adobe apps 

I'm running Photoshop 24.7.0 on a MacOS 13.5 on a PowerBook Pro M1 Max When I launch Photoshop I immediately get a "Adobe Photoshop 2023 quit unexpectedly." error message.If I hold down the shift key when launching, to disable plug-ins, then it launches just fine. I removed everything from the plug-ins folder, but the behavior still exists. Any ideas? Thanks, david,

As stated in the title I'm having issues using the Export Layer to File function in PS. I've tired closing and reopen the program, closing the program and restart my computer, downgardaing to lower versions of PS and finally streight up uninstall PS and CC desktop completely from computer and reinstalling. Nothing has worked and I've pretty much wasted one of my few free days troubleshooting rather then doing what I wanted to do. I am very fustrated as I have never had this problem before in all the months I've been using PS. I have made no special update on my computer I can think of that would trigger such an odd error and online search for answers have yeild nothing. Help? I'm on Windows 10.

I have been having this annoying problem for several weeks now. None of the solutions on the internet work at all. If this is your first time reading about this problem, these are the solutions I've seen so far (none of them is a real solution, each one causes other problems): - Uncheck "Use graphics processor" in the performance tab in configuration. Result: It disables the rotating canvas features for Wacom tablets after a couple of minutes or just instantly. - Check "Deactivate native canvas" and/or "Older GPU Mode (pre 2016)" in technology previews tab. Result: It becomes absurdly lagged, it is useless to work, just moving the canvas makes it go at 1fps. I also have all my drivers updated (GPU, Windows, Wacom), PS updated, and with priority for the GPU. Is there any real solution for this? I have an RTX 3080 8 GB. This should not happen.

No idea why I am still paying for this pile of ****Years since the CTRL D has worked properly.PS hogs up to 14GB of memory while sat doing nothing.Text in a shape disappears when using a different PS version. These bugs have been in PS for at least a decade!!!! Multiple systems and hardware.

Hi, it seems like when filling an object (Ps desktop, 26.3 version) and that object is the layer itself, it fills the whole canvas not just the object. I even tried it with transparent background, doest the same. I did not have this issue at all when using the previous version. Hope someone can help. Thanks a lot.

In Europe, we have no issues with having images of statuesand paintings of nudes in school books, even for the youngest. We do nothave the same aversion to nudity that exists in the USA. Therefore, thisAdobe policy is not only inappropriate, but we even find it ridiculous. Youcan see as many nudes in art as you want, both male and female, just bywalking around the squares of Italy. Since we are talking about a paidproduct that isn't cheap, I find it absurd that someone decides whichimages I can process and which I cannot. Here, we don't even have a lawpreventing work with images of banknotes like there is in the USA. Theprinciple is that it is the user of the tool who is responsible for whatthey do with it, not the tool itself or its manufacturer. In theory, in mycountry, it might be possible to sue Adobe as the applied limits could beconsidered an unfair clause in the license agreement.--Dario de J

Hi Trying out a few tutorials inside photoshop. I can't seem to proceed beyond step 1. I follow the instructions and click next but nothing happens. I was in the 'remove stains from an photo' . Last week I tired another, can't recall which one, and again I couldn't proceed beyond step one despite following instructions.Why is this, does anyone know please? Its not vital, but I was justseeing if the tutorials match the same method I normally use...

hello, i am new to this because I never usually have any problems.  However, I have recently been getting a "pop up" on my Mac Desktop that says.....Creative Cloud Content Manager.app cant open may be damaged.  How do I fix this?Thank you.Kathy

I bought CS6 on ebay and when I received it, it was obviously a copy.  eBay has a strict policy against selling copied software. Am I correct that I should report it to them and ask for a refund?

I have a small uxp panel that allows me to select a set of actions and an action,it works for my needs.I would like to know if there is a way to check if the action has been selected,so if the action has been selected an 'ok' warning appearsif the action is not selected an 'ko' warning appears.  As always, I hope for your help.

I have a very complex graphic that only exists as a png. The graphic has a lot of dot gradients and tones set in black. The graphic currently only works against a white background. I need it to work on a black background. If I try to do it the cheap way by inverting the colors, all I get is a negative that does not look good and it's indecipherable to what the graphic is. Is there a way in PS to essentially "knock out" the inside shapes to create the inverse of the image? This would have been easier if it where a simplified vector, but it is not. Client only has a flat image.

Bonjour, Depuis que j'ai mis à jour Photoshop vers la version 26.1.0, je galère avec les nouveaux modes de sélection manuels des calques, beaucoup moins pratique qu'avant je trouve notamment pour la sélection de calques mutiples directement dans la zone de travail, ou simplement pour passer d'un calque à l'autre par simple clic de souris.  J'aimerais désactiver cette nouvelle fonctionnalité entrée en vigueur avec cette nouvelle version. Est-ce possible ?  

Hi, hoping for a little help! A font I've been using for years has stopped showing the whole font family in adobe (photoshop, illustrator, etc). There are two different versions of the font (wide and narrow) with their own families, both have weight variations of normal italic, bold, bold italic. The bold variations are not available in adobe. The font functions normally in other programs. The font is an OFT file, My photoshop version is photoshop 2024, and I use windows 11. Things I have tried: cleared my windows system font cache and restarting, clearing photoshop font cache and restarting, removed the font file and tried the previous steps before reinstalling the font, and replaced the file with a backup from 2008 and restarted.  I ran the FontTest.jsx script in photoshop and had no errors, but the log only shows 4 variations of this font, the "font style" for NarrowBoldItalic is listed as italic and NarrowItalic or NarrowBold are not there.  I have tried using Generative Fill and it gives me crazy edits. How do you suggest I extend the background to fill the image?

Hello! As the title says, I am unable to open a file after my laptop blue screened while I was work. I understand that that might have corrupted my file, howerver, the first prompt says, "We recommend you save your latest version as a copy and restore the doc to the last version saved in the cloud." When I click Save a copy and restore, it then tells me, "You can still open this doc..." I am at my wits end haha. I've scoured the internet trying to figure out how to fix this, if it is at all fixeable. I'd love any assistance/ideas anyone may have!Thank you :'D

While culling images on photoshop Bridge when I press the mouse to view the image it automatically jumped to another image. It’s kind of annoying and it takes time finding the image I was attempting to work on.Hope you guys can fix this issue
