I own 3 laptops. One is new, to replace a laptop that died. I can't install Photoshop on that one because I can only put it on 2 devices. So I get shut down when I try. I can't uninstall it from the dead device because the device is dead. I know Adobe won't help me, and that I'm going to have to pay someone to revive the dead laptop or reformat it. I'm just hoping maybe Adobe actually MIGHT help, like deactivate Photoshop in my account remotely or something, so I can download it and install on the 2 laptops that need it. So I thought I'd ask. Does anyone know if Adobe would help me? Where do I contact them? Or should I simply cancel my subscription and start over?
Since updating to the latest version of Photoshop and Camera Raw, the "Image Processor" batch script initiated in Bridge stops working when processing TIFF files with previously applied parameters in ACR. Instead of smooth batch processing in the background, the process freezes, and Adobe Camera Raw either forces an interactive window or interprets specific layer metadata/color profile information in the TIFF files as a required edit prompt. This completely disrupts established, automated, professional workflows. The exact same TIFF files processed without any issues in previous versions of Photoshop/ACR, and reverting to the older version immediately resolves the issue. This indicates a regression in how the latest ACR engine handles raster files during batch operations.Product and Version: Photoshop 27.10 / Camera Raw (latest version)Operating System: Windows 11 ProExpected Result: The image processor should sequentially batch convert TIFF files in the background, without launching th
Photoshop and other applications from my plan cannot find an internet connection. They cannot be verified and give an error, first 12015 and then 102. After that, the application closes. The Internet is available, the subscription is paid. I have a windows 11 64x
I’m just editing the artboard normally, but the colors keep changing on their own. This happened after I updated to the new version 27.10.0.For the full details, please watch the attached video.
My keyboard shortcuts are not working in Photoshop at all.Regular typing works normally inside text fields, but none of the shortcuts respond (for example: V, B, Ctrl+T, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+Z, etc.).I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps: Reset Photoshop preferences using Ctrl + Alt + Shift on launch Verified that Keyboard Shortcuts are set to Default Switched keyboard language to English Restarted Photoshop and the computer multiple times Checked that I am not inside a text layer Reset tools inside Photoshop Disabled background applications that may interfere with shortcuts Updated Photoshop to the latest version Despite all of this, the keyboard shortcuts still do not work only inside Photoshop. The keyboard works perfectly in other applications. Is there any deeper fix related to system conflicts, drivers, or Photoshop configuration files that I may be missing?

I’m trying to get the white background removed from this image of the American flag image. But, obviously, I want to keep the white in the stripes. Is there a quick and easy way to to that? I have been trying different tools, but I can’t seem to isolate the background without also selecting the stripes.
Working with latest version of PS for the PC. Used Bridge to open jpgs in PS then tried to automate PDF presentation and initially got a PDF with nothing in it. Tried again and got a series of error messages 1) unable to open file for writing. It may be locked or unavailablefollowed by2) Cannot complete your request because of program errorfollowed by 3)PDF presentaiton could not be created. This happened irrespective of whether I used bridge to open the jpgs in PS or I did it through PS
I loaded eight photos into photoshop File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack.I then selected all eight layers followed by Edit > Auto Align layersAnd followed that by Edit > Auto Blend Layers (Stack images)A focus stacked image was created as expected. However, I wasn’t pleased with one portion of the image and intended to blend it manually. I started toggling all images off and deactivating masks to find the portion of the image I wanted to use. I then selected that image, duplicated it, deleted its layer mask (when asked to apply or delete mask, I chose delete) and drug it to the top of the layer stack. The result was if the layer mask was still applied to the duplicated image. I witnessed a very patchwork, jigsaw puzzle looking display.

How do I stop the text box from auto filling in photoshop? It used to just be an empty box when I placed it on the image before the update.
How do I remove ‘icc paper profiles from the drop down Menu, Print module in PS. I am using Mac.Tahoe.PS27.10.0. Tried everything, every path in all Libraries etc. Opened ColorSync in Utilities, traced the path, removed the relevant .icc profiles, restarted PS. The profiles still appear in PS
Hi everyone,I’m having a problem when converting an image from RGB to CMYK in Photoshop. The original RGB image looks smooth, especially around the darker skin tones and along the jawline. However, as soon as I convert it to CMYK, visible wavy bands / color steps appear around the jaw and other dark gradient areas. The skin transition becomes uneven and almost looks posterized.I’ve attached both versions for comparison: Image 1: CMYK conversion — visible banding/artifacts around the jawline Image 2: Original RGB — smooth tonal transitions The problem is much more noticeable in the dark brown skin tones next to the black gloves/background.Is this caused by the CMYK color gamut, the color profile, bit depth, or something else? What would be the best way to convert this image for professional printing without creating these bands or damaging the smooth skin gradients? Also, if the print shop accepts RGB files, would it be better to leave the image in RGB and let their RIP/software handle t

Photoshop 2026 been slowing down worse and worse with every update, and after some testing I’ve found that the performance is significantly better when GPU is disabled (but still pretty poor), and also significantly better in the 2025 version. I remember the versions before 2025 ran significantly better as well and figured that the performance issues in the 2025 version would get patched with time but now with 2026 versions it has gotten so bad that its becoming almost unusable for digital painting. My computer is well above the recommended specs with a compatible GPU for photoshop and can run most AAA games at high specs with no problem and runs great when doing 3D modeling in blender but struggles with even tiny file sizes in photoshop. for example if i make a tiny 64x64 pixel canvas in photoshop 2026 and simply attempt to pan and zoom a blank canvas, my GPU and CPU show over 80% usage and i get what looks like less than 2FPS with screen tearing. When I attempt to draw or resize layer
i am used to a tick to the right of the crop tool options bar - its comforting - i know i can press enter but…...help please...
Hi Adobe Team,I would like to request a UI improvement for the AI model selection process in Photoshop (specifically within the Contextual Task Bar and generative fill workflows).Currently, native Adobe Firefly models and third-party Partner models are split into separate tabs. While I understand this highlights commercial safety differences, switching between tabs disrupts workflow efficiency when experimenting with different outputs.Proposed Solution:Consolidate all available AI models into a single, unified dropdown menu. How to maintain commercial safety clarity:Use clear visual labels or tags next to each model name within the single list (e.g., a green checkmark or badge for "Commercially Safe" or "Adobe Native"). Group them under clear sub-headers within the single dropdown menu (e.g., "Adobe Firefly" at the top, "Partner Models" right below it). This change would dramatically speed up the creative process while keeping users informed of licensing differences.Thank you for consid
Hey there!I'm currently desperate as Photoshop is not opening one of my work files anymore. I've tried everything: I've restarted my Mac, updated Photoshop, ticked off the "Use Graphics Procesor" option under performance settings. Nothing has worked. It's definitely not my hard drive either, as I had a copy of the file saved locally on my Mac, and I'm experiencing the same issue. Can anyone help please?
Toggling Dynamic Text on and off with the options bar icon causes the entire text box to move on the canvas. 1. Drag the Text tool to create a text box 2. Type characters into the text box 3. Click the Dynamic Text button on and then off again Expected: Text box remains in original location Actual: Text box moves on the canvas Please see linked screen capture video Tested on macOS PS 26.11. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/pdogtea7pao8jhrgppn95/Screen-Recording-2025-09-24-at-2.23.31-PM.mov?rlkey=0jsaft6qx8brku194gsynopb8&st=mza6iezf&dl=0
I’m having trouble moving the mask to the original photo it’s supposed to be on. I’m using my iPhone and I have two layers: the original photo and the edited photo I used to create the mask. I need to move the mask from the edited photo layer to the original photo layer so I can mask the original instead. I’ve done it before, but I can’t remember how I did it.
I am trying to create a sheet of faux postage (a/k/a postoids) using Photoshop. Each row of stamps will feature a different image (which I am doing using Smart Objects). Currently there are two sets of text on each stamp; I’d like to make three eventually. The text will be the same across the entire sheet of stamps. It will change from time to time. In the attached example, it says Holiday Post, and 45 cents. I would like to be able to change that to, say, Autumn Post, and $1. What is the simplest way I can set this up so that when I change the text on one stamp, it will change on all the stamps? I’ve been trying different ways and haven’t come up with anything that really works yet. Open to suggestions! I’ve just started to use Smart Objects (thought I should mention that). Thank you!
