Computer 1: Mac Tahoe 26.5.2, PS 27.8.0Computer 2: Mac, Tahoe 26.5.2, PS 27.3.1Computer 3: windows 11, PS 27.4.0  Save As to Original Folder does not work correctly for PDF files. Repro: Ensure “save as to original folder” is checked in preferences->file handling open a pdf file from a folder save as tiff (or anything)Expected: default folder for the save will be the same as original fileActual: default folder is the last folder where PS did a save. PS 27.3.1 does the same thing. Question: How can I get PS to save to the original folder when I’m saving PDF files as TIFF? 

I have reached a breaking point with Adobe software. It is now using so much memory any time that any time I launch an application I can barely get any work done at all. The apps are slow, they lag, they stop responding. I can’t have more than one Adobe app open at a time.Even now, with InDesign sitting idle it is using 2.09 GB. And Photoshop with a file open that is 181 mb is using over 30 GB!!This started when I upgraded to Tahoe. The memory problems and slow downs were unbelieveble so I switched back to Sequoia. That seemed to ersolve the problem for a short while but it is now worse than it has ever been.Please let me know what kind f info you need from me to help with this issue. I’m posting some screen shots that might or might not be helpful--I’m just guessing because I don’t know.Please help!

I have been using the PS and Ai from decades, never seen such slow usage , which i'm facing on new updates , my both softwares lagging and aren't working fine since last week, can anyone tell me how to resolve this is issue , same laptop same evrything since many years but now both PS and Ai lagging and working slow Please Help

Selection Brush tool doesn't work on grayscale pages, didn’t tried all the other modes, but I’m sure it doesn’t work on grayscale pages.The history shows I used the Selection Brush tool, but no selection is made at all, all other selection ways works just fine, including quick mask mode.

Usually when i draw small lines rapidly (like hatchings, to give you the idea). The usual cursor of the brush shape disappears during one 10th of second or 1 second and turns to the normal white arrow mouse cursor. In Photoshop, I can only zoom in using the touchpad if I hold down the alt key. If I do the gesture without the alt key, the image only moves left or right. If I hold down the alt key, the "actual" gesture (swiping in one direction with two fingers) also zooms. Is there a way to set the touchpad gestures so that the image only moves when you swipe in one direction with two fingers and the image zooms in when you zoom in with your fingers on the touchpad without pressing the alt key for any gesture?In the browser or other applications, zooming in works even without holding down the alt key.Win 11Ps-version: 25.12

After several months of correct operation, the program began to spontaneously close. Photoshop 2026 (versions 27.3.1.4 and others), the application consistently shuts down about 40 seconds after launch. My entire computer consistently crashes when I try to use “Select and mask”, Some of my photoshop files have even been corrupted if the file I tried to mask was in them. Im not sure what has been causing this. I’ve tried to update my drivers, my gpu, cleared my cache, allocated more RAM space for photoshop to use, and nothing seems to work. Any guesses as to what could be causing this? I am not extremely savvy when It comes to hardware optimization, but I couldn’t find any similar issues online to help fix this problem.

Photoshop 2026 will not open any JPEG files. I receive a message that says “Could not open “file name” because the file was not found.” Yes, the files are there and are uncorrupted– Preview and other other apps have no problem with the JPEGs. It does not matter if the files are local, on a drive, or wherever. Also, photoshop has no issue opening PNGs, PSDs, or really any other normals file formats. I recently updated, reinstalled, restarted, and deleted photoshop 2025 from my machine to try to remedy the problem. I’m working on an iMac 2020 with Sequoia 15.7.3As a work around, I’ve been opening the JPGs in Preview and copying and pasting them into a Photoshop file, but I’d prefer a real fix over this method.

I'm experiencing an issue with Photoshop web version. When I opening the Photoshop web version, the interface shows only a white screen with all buttons grayed out and unclickable. Problem persists across different monitors and even when switching to another PC. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you for any info.

I updated Photoshop 2025 yesterday which apparently came with a camera raw update.  The denoise in camera raw stops after 15-25 percent then does not reactivate on the raw file when selected.

When I am using Adobe Photoshop on the web, the color wheel is always off screen with no way to center it. This makes choosing anything from the right side of the color wheel impossible. Ive tried minimizing my screen or dragging it, but its locked in one fixed part of the screen and wont move. The first color circle is cut off slightly, making easier to navigate but the second circle is always cut off. As you can see I can only access cool colors, the rest cant even be scrolled to. PLEASE, fix this issue. I love the web version of Adobe for its quickness, but this is kinda killing the need to use it. It isnt just with Duotone but basically any effect where you can change the color of the effect.

I have had a Creative Cloud CC plan for years. This morning when I opened my app and clicked on Photoshop it began to open but then disappeared. I rebooted my computer. I tried every possible fix. I tried the Repair option. Nothing works. Now what do I do?

I’m using Edit-Stroke function, but in latest updates there is a bug that doesnt stroke with right selected color.I set stroke width, then I set stroke color, then I hit OK, but stroke has color that was prevously selected before change. Then I have to go one step back and try to Stroke again, then it usualy works well.

Photoshop v27.9 auto updated but got stuck and so I cancelled it and now it is stuck cancelled. No way to reset or reinstall photoshop app on desktop (mac).

In the latest Camera Raw update, it stopped accessing graphics acceleration, and I can't activate it.My setup:Windows 11NVidia RTX 5070 Ti 16 GBI've tried absolutely everything: cleaning the card driver and reinstalling it, adding .old to the folders, resetting the graphics card, etc., and finally contacting Adobe technical support... who started by saying that the card was "old" and not suitable for Camera Raw... Adobe, if that's the case, please indicate it on your website, because supposedly my card is suitable (and if it isn't, few people will be able to continue using Adobe products). Lightroom handles everything without a problem, and the other programs that require GPU resources do too (Da Vinci, Topaz, etc.). After saying this, the card is suitable; the problem is with Windows. I honestly don't think so; it seems like a bug in Camera Raw. That's the only thing that has problems.
