Environment: OS: Windows 11 64-bit CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation Photoshop Version: 27.10 Driver: NVIDIA Studio Driver Issue Description: Immediately after updating to Photoshop v27.10, severe UI and canvas rendering issues began occurring during normal editing. The symptoms include: Rapid flickering where UI elements and the canvas temporarily disappear and instantly reappear (no black or white flashes). When navigating menus (e.g., Preferences), the text briefly vanishes and comes back. While editing, the active photo disappears from the canvas and instantly reappears. The flickering happens extremely fast, rendering the application completely unusable for daily work. This issue is isolated to Photoshop and does not occur in other applications. Issue summary: Corrupted data warning when opening EPS files. Product and version: Photoshop 27.10.0. Operating system: macOS Tahoe 26.6.2 (25G83). Steps to reproduce: Open any EPS file. Expected result: No message should appear when opening the EPS file. Actual result: Upon opening the file, the following message appears: 'This document contains Adobe Photoshop data that may be corrupted. Do you want to continue and ignore the Photoshop data?'

I’m working both at the office and at home, with different dual screens in different setups, and now the window for new documents in PS is invisible when i chose new document. I believe the window is stuck somewhere outside of my monitors and I can’t find a way to retrieve it. I suspect it is related to the screen resolution issues too, since the program windows can change size in crazy ways depending on which screen I move them to. The same issue happened on my previous computer but in Illustrator, so I just had to press enter and get whatever image size that was default and then change it in the program to what I needed. 

Is there an easier way to duplicate a linked layer and unlink it from the original link so I can re-link that one instance to something else?Right now I’m duplicating the layer, making a smart object, and then double clicking into the smart object and re-linking. So every time my linked file changes, I have to go individually into each smart layer to update the link. Kind of a PITA. Back-story: making mockups of different label interations on the same package rendering (today, a bag of frozen chicken wings, woo hoo!). In this case, I’ve got all my labels in one Ps file and then turning on one layer at a time to export them as PNGs to place into a presentation document (Illustrator). Another way I sometimes do it is to create a separate Ps file for each instance of a link, but then I still have to open each file to update the link…  Can I do something like this if I use artboards in Ps instead of just layers? I’d like to be able to open a file, have all the links update, and then export

27.10 is slow saving files: 1) Super slow (20 seconds to save a 4K resolution .JPG file.) 2) Erroneous warnings that the file has been updated (it's hasn't) before saving. 3) PS seemingly locking up when saving. Reverting to the prior version of PS (27.9.1) cleared up all the issues. OneDrive being enabled or disabled didn't make a difference.Open and edit any PS .PSD or JPG file. Try to save it. Wait and wait and wait.

I would like to report a suspected EXIF metadata-writing issue affecting edited JPEGs from a Canon EOS R8.All affected files identify their editing software as “Elements Organizer 24.0.” The original camera JPEGs do not produce the same warning. The edited images still display and fully decode, but their EXIF directory structure is malformed.Environment- Operating system: Windows- Camera: Canon EOS R8- File format: JPEG- Embedded software/version string: Elements Organizer 24.0- Full installed Elements version/build: [add from About/System Information]- Diagnostic tools: ExifTool 13.59 and Pillow 12.3.0Actual behaviorExifTool reports this exact warning for every affected file:Wrong format (string) for IFD0 0x8769 ExifOffsetAn independent inspection of the JPEG EXIF/TIFF headers confirmed that tag 0x8769 (ExifOffset / ExifIFDPointer) is declared as TIFF type 2 (ASCII/string), rather than the expected type 4 (LONG).This field points to the EXIF subdirectory; it is not a timezone offset.

I updated PS this morning and when I try to use the bandaid, wet brush or remove tool I get a pop up that says “is still downloading. Download complete “ then PS freezes. I have tried restarting the program several times. 

I have IMac 2017 with OS Monterey, I have installed Photoshop 2025, now my I Mac is working very slow, Please suggest

It affects both a Wacom/Cintiq pen and an ordinary mouse, and also reproduces in a new blank RGB/8 document. ​ Steps to reproduce:Any emoji at the start of layer name Long layer name that causes truncation ellipsis (...)If emoji at start AND no truncation, performance remains stable. If no emoji at start AND truncation, performance remains stable. Only when both emoji at start and truncation exists do you run into performance issues.  This only affects the active tab and doesn’t seem to spike up CPU, but when you have many of these layers it becomes unusable.Solution for now is to remove the emoji at the start. System:Apple M4 Pro 48GBmacOS Golden Gate 27.0Adobe Photoshop 27.10.0

Hi, I am on Photoshop 27.10 but it’s a bug I have experienced in several previous versions, too. Yet I have used Photoshop for 20 years and didn’t notice it before the last year or so.The bug happens when I have several files opened at once and i switch between each of them (working a bit on one then clicking and working on one another, eyedropping/selecting one color from one file then using it to fill a selection in one another ect). Currently it happens when I have seven 600ppp CMYK files opened.When the files are opened, everything works fine for quite a long time, then the bug happens after 1 hour or so : when i switch from one file to another and i start working on any layer of it, suddenly I see that the file is lagging like hell : every action takes 1 second or more to be implemented (a brush stroke, a magic wand selection etc). I can’t work on the file anymore and have to shut it down.Then several things can happen : when the file is shut, i can still work normally on the othe

I’ve reported this already in “Bug Reports” and my post was deleted with no resolution and no communication. I’ve reposted there and now looking for help here!When “opening as layers in photoshop” the images are very slow to load in PS 27.8 vs. 27.7. This problem is confirmed by several other users I know. What used to take 11 seconds now takes 17 seconds. There’s a new behavior where each of the layers “flashes” up on screen for a split second before the loading actually starts and it takes significantly longer than it used. Downgrading to 27.7 restores correct (fast) functionality. Why would my bug report get deleted and if there’s a bug then, how are we supposed to report it so that Adobe will address it? Thanks

Brightness and Contrast have disappeared from the adjustment layer button.Version: 27.10  

Overnight, reference accuracy in Nanobanana Pro inside PS is absolutely terrible. Like, non-existant. And the reference image button is gray randomly. Are these known issues? If so, I need to cancel my three weekly credit re-ups…  

I just upgraded to Photoshop 27.9.1 and the HUD color picker center square is mostly white, with color fading in on the right and bottom of the square. The regular color picker on the tool menu still works fine, but the HUD picker is MESSED UP! Any idea what happened?

In reality, of course, with any sandy beach it too is constantly changing. So, what can you make with it? The “rules”: Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry. On an Intel  Mac with Tahoe 26.2.2. The file psa.prf does not exist either on my computer or on any backup disk. Pressing shift while opening Organizer still leads to a crash so I cannot create, repair, optimize or reset a catalogueThe folder OLS does not existI’ve deleted and reinstalled the app. The color profile file is not loading incorrectlyMore recent versions of Elements (2027) do not install (Error Code 103) despite using two different browsers (Safari and Firefox) and reloading multiple times.  

The Sky Replacement tool on my Windows 11 (25H2) PC was working perfectly up until I update Photoshop to version 27.10 .0 three days ago.Selecting Sky Replacement in the Editor (Edit » Sky Replacement) is OK and all my skies appear.When I select a sky, I find all of the sliders and functions, except Brightness function perfectly.The Brightness slider can be moved to both extremes, but no change in Brightness materializes. I have performed a clean instal of Photoshop, without effect (Uninstalled PS with Revo Pro Uninstaller, and thereafter deleted every Adobe folder I could find).Even performed a clean reinstall of the Windows operating system.Finally, I restored my system, from a Macrium Reflect X to a state prior to the Photoshop to version 27.10 .0 update. Low and behold - the Brightness for Sky Replacement works.It looks like a Bug, to me.Appreciate any comments/adviceBrian
