Photoshop

We use a lot of action sets for work and I need to move them between computers. Previously, when i would record a script or a Guide Layout in a PS action, as long as i put them in /Applications/Adobe Photoshop 2026/Presets/Guides, they would only display the name and not the exact path. This meant when I updated PS versions, the guides and scripts would relink seamlessly. This is no longer the case. Now my options are to re-record opening the script, load the preset, make one small change, then change it back, then press OK. This records the values but i lose the visual name of the custom guide showing in my action set. ALTERNATIVELY, i have to re-record the guide to the newest version location (which means i’d have to do that each time i update). Storing the guides outside of that location opens up a can of worms for when i move these action sets to another computer. Anyone have tips? Is this a bug? 

I’ve been exploring the new AI Assisted Editor (Beta) in Photoshop 27.10 and really like the idea of using natural-language prompts for common editing tasks.I’m curious about how well it handles more precise edits, especially when using Markup to identify a specific area of an image.For those who have tried it:How accurate are the results with detailed prompts? I just bought a Brand new PC and Photoshop struggles to operate efficiently utlizing my new GPU. Here’s the specs: CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 270k PlusGPU: NVIDIA RTX5070TiRAM: 64GBSSD: 1TBOS: Windows 11 Pro4k, 32” Monitor. Problem 1: The issue is mainly with the Object Selection tools and those tools/options that requires GPU. I’ve turned off all settings for Object Selection tool for auto detecting objects. But it still takes a 2-5 secs to fully operational. So even the automatic detection is disabled, when I select the tool, the little loading icon still spins like it’s detecting something. Before it finishes, if I try to draw a rectengle to select subject, it lags behind my mouse movement. When the detection icon stopped, then the tool behave as expected. I’m not sure what happens during the process.No crush of course. However, when I draw a rectangle with Object selection tool, my processor usages goes up to 100% for 1 or 2 seconds. Problem 2:When photoshop starts, if I hit ctrl+N to

Photoshop 27.11.0 on macOS 26.0.1.With Content Credentials enabled, TIFF files record edits correctly and show no warning after saving. After closing and reopening the TIFF, Photoshop reports that some edits or activities may not have been recorded.The same workflow with PSD files works correctly.The issue is reproducible with newly created TIFFs and without scripts or plugins. TIFF files also create a .c2paws sidecar file.Please investigate the Content Credentials handling of TIFF files.

THIS IS SO ANNOYING to see these edges ALL THE TIME!I cannot be going to "View > Extras" over and over again! HELP

im getting a bit desperate, i dont know what to do..Since this morning, any version of Photoshop i try keeps getting laggier and laggier. It started with the scrubby zoom, then the brush, the ruler etc.Despite that, my pc is running well ( 32Go RAM, 8Go VRAM ). I tried to follow many guides and tried this so far: resetting the preferences; changing the options in the performance tab (including enabling and disabling gpu mode); closing other apps; cleaning my pc from eventual craps ( there’s 150Go of free data on my driver right now); reinstalling the Photoshop; using other Photoshop versions; reinstalling my gpu drivers;The lags keep getting worse and worse (linked a video to show the lag) . I have no ideas what to do to fix this problems, it’s especially problematic since i use Photoshop daily.  Thank you in advance :)

Mode Masque Rapide (Q ):  Le double clic ne fonctionne pas.

PS is opening *.jpg, *.tiff and *.psd files with lines at the right edge and bottom.  I’ve fiddles with Windows scaling settings, but I can’t get this fixed permanently. Is there a permanent fix for this?  I’m running PS 25.12.4. Example image below.  

Is there a reason that select subject no longer works, or is it a bug?  Or was it changed and has some really dumb extra step that I'm supposed to do in order to get it to work? I tried changing it to device instead of cloud and the button appears like I can click it, and then says I can't do it because it is not available anymore. How do I fix this so that I don't have to keep going back to the previous version, just to select subject and then back to the new one?  Or just use the old version until fixed?  Which is what I had to do for something else similar to this.   Had to use the previous one for almost a year before something was fixed and able to use the new version. Edit:  So I noticed that if I manually click on a layer further down, it allows me to use it........so this definitely is a bug or a bad change that for some reason was intentional.   Before I could do it above my frequency separation group and above my dodge an

I would like to download an older version of Photoshop /Bridge like Vr 11.0.2Reason I need to work with older .cr2 raw files and .cr3 on a 2019 core3i 8 gb so very limited. I just need to load them in bridge open and make basic adjustments, save and then batch process them all into low res jpg at 5mb ish. 

When I try ad add a gradient to a adjustment layer’s mask it mostly work but sometimes it just won’t let me add any gradient.I’ve tried different settings for the gradient but the only thing that works is restarting Photoshop.Using the Gradient tool normally works fine, and it seems to be mostly affected if the mask has values in it already ( if I’ve painted parts out )It’s on Photoshop 27.10.0 and has been going on for quite a few months now.See video for example of how the gradient tool is not working on the adjustment layer’s mask but does normally.

 I am trying to reproduce the first shape in Photoshop. Please educate me on how to achieve it, because I cannot figure it out by myself. Is it even doable?

Been searching but haven't found answers.   How Do I Change Save / Save As Default from PSD to JPG in Photoshop CC?   These are my steps:   - Editing a RAW file in ACR - Then open it in Photoshop to do more edits - Save/Save As...   Photoshop defaults to PSD. I've read other discussions that's because Photoshop will default to original file format. But this is a RAW file, not a PSD file to begin with.   My question is how do I change this default to JPG instead of PSD? It's annoying having to use the mouse to go down the drop down menu and scroll through to find JPG to save the file. I move through keyboard shortcus, so stopping to use the mouse just do select JPG really slows me down.   Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Is there a way to save Path Blur settings? Specifically, I want to save the positions of the paths I create so I can apply them to different layers. Thx.
