In the latest version of PS, when I copy and paste layers or content, PS seems to paste the content out of it’s original position instead of perfectly matching where it was copied from. Please fix this, it makes no sense to have it moved as default.

Today’s update to Photoshop V27.10 still leaves the On Device remove tool unusable on Windows 11 with an RTX 5080 with 16GB VRAM and using the latest driver. Version 29.0 worked perfectly and quickly months ago, but since updating to the current version, the tool fails. It stalls for minutes, forcing the CPU to handle object removal instead of using the GPU. Subsequent removals have the same long delays. Happens on both my workstation and laptop (RTX 4090) Switching to Cloud-based processing works, but what happens when using Photoshop somewhere without Wi-Fi or hotspot access? The same issue applies to the current Beta version to which I have reinstalled Beta 29.0 on my laptop to be able to use the On Device remove tool in isolated signal areas.
In Photoshop 27.9.1 the image preview in Export As looks like a chunky mess even at 100% and when the export image isn’t being scaled, as if it’s taking a smaller image texture and scaling it back up with a fast/nearest-neighbor type algorithm... it does not match the original image. This also makes it impossible to judge the Resample mode (Bicubic, Bilinear, etc) when you ARE scaling the image on export, because the preview has no relation to the actual resulting saved image.I downgraded back to 27.8.0 and it works fine again.Windows 11 25H2, nVidia 3080 Ti on drivers 610.88 (GRD)Here is a screenshot showing the document at 100% in Photoshop with the Export As window open below it. Hopefully this image gets attached untouched/unscaled (original is 2603x1347)This may or may not have something to do with being on a high-res monitor (3840x2160) in Windows with its interface scaling active (150% in my case) as I looked at PS 27.9.1 on a different machine on a standard res monitor with no
Can someone tell me if this item will be back one day? Because I can't dowload it
This is a bit complicated. Sorry.I have been using Photoshop 2025 on current Mac OS. A while ago, CC apparently installed Photoshop 2026 (it is in my applications folder) but launching Photoshop has continued to launch 2025. Further, CC (yes, I’ve logged out and back in and restarted the computer) shows that Photoshop is NOT installed at all. In Photoshop 2025 if I go to Help → Updates I see no option to update my installed copy of Photoshop 2025 or switch to the installed copy of Photoshop 2026… and under the “Apps” page in CC, while Lightroom and Lightroom Classic show as installed (I see the “Open” buttons), next to Photoshop I see “Install.”)While I can manually launch the installed Photoshop 2026 application, it does not have access to any of my workspace or preferences from 2025. Using the “click the 3 dots in the CC Photoshop square to check for other versions” doesn’t work either, since CC seems to be unaware that Photoshop is even installed on my computer. Again, sorry for th
recently had a new hard drive added to my computer. Unfortuntely I lost my Adobe Photoshop CS6 program. I want to reinstall it on my computer and need the full serial number. Adobe is supplying the serial number less the last four numbers. I need these numbers to do the reinstall. I am told that these numbers are hidden somewhere. Anyone who knows how to find them please share the answer with me.
Hello,I am facing an issue in Photoshop when trying to remove the background of a photograph. Whenever I click the Remove Background button, an error message appears: “Couldn’t find background to remove.”I have tried restarting Photoshop and resetting preferences, but the error still persists. This happens even with images that have a clear subject and background.Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a recommended solution or workaround?Thank you in advance for your help.Best regards,
I’m experiencing this error message “Die Pipette konnte nicht verwendet werden, weil ein Programmfehler aufgetreten ist (f376f9.752).” in PS 27.10.0 (on an M2 MacBookPro) when trying to set more than one reference point in the curves adjustment panel. If I try it in the general adjustment setting I can click the message away, but when I use a curves adjustment layer Photoshop goes crazy and I have to force quit the application.
I recently updated to the Adobe Photoshop Version: 27.9.1 20260803.r.1 65900e1 x64 (final, Release). Once I import an image and I use the Clone Stamp Tool, it doesn't work as it used to. I use Alt+Click to select an area to clone, but then, when I click on a target to clone on, it uncontrollably clones other areas of the image, at a linear manner. I haven't seen such a behavior before.
I cannot access my .psdc files from my desktop app (Photoshop 2026). It says "Could not open “MIS Staff ID - Template.psdc”. The account you signed in with doesn't have access. Check with account owner or sign into another account." while I'm obviously the owner of this account. Please help.
Thanks to all who took part in our previous ‘Where there’s smoke’ challenge. There were some great images based on the Victorian pipe. This week, we go to Lindisfarne, also known as Holy Island. It is situated just off the Northumberland coast of England, and reachable by a causeway. This view of the castle, which was built in the 16th century, is from the rugged rocks of the beach. In its day, it must have been a formidable castle to breach. Of course, with the power of image manipulation, you can show us how it might be done. The “rules”:Use the starter image as at least part of your own image entry. Anything goes, as long as it meets the forum rules on decency, copyright, etc. Anyone, and everyone, is welcome to have a go, whether you are a complete beginner or a Photoshop expert. This is not just for our forum “regulars”. The challenge is not limited to Photoshop. Any Adobe software can be used. There are no prizes apart from the chance to practice, show off your skills, or bring a
Hi I am a new user for the app
The error is :- Could not open ???.CR3 because of a program error.
Hi,I’m not sure when and how this bug appeared but I noticed today that the brush is flickering to an arrow cursor (similar to this bug ) when I’m drawing on a layer with a mask on. I don’t know why but it’s extremely annoying, please fix this.I’m on Windows 11 and the latest version of Photoshop. Here is a video/screen capture showing the problem, notice how the bug disappear when the mask is disabled and reappears when it is activated :
Hi everyone,Photoshop 2026 (v27.4) on Windows gives me this error constantly when work with curves (i didn't try other tools, so i hope this is the only one): "Impossible to update advanced objects because a program error has occurred (f376f9.749)".Sorry, my Photoshop is in Italian.Anyone else seeing f376f9.749 on Windows lately? Thanks in advance!
Photoshop supports about 20 formats, but I only use 4 or 5 of them. It's bugged me since 5.5 to have to fish for jpeg somewhere in the middle of the list. Can the file formats get arranged by most commonly used? And maybe allow us to remove stuff like targa and large file format that nobody uses.
Issue: Photoshop version: 26.10.0 20250811.r.7 x64 (final, Release) OS: Windows 11 64-bit (10.0.26100.4946), 4070 RTX (mobile), i7-13700h, Windows HDR enabled Steps to reproduce: Create a new 1000 x 1000 px document., RGB, 8 bit. In [Edit > Color Settings...] enable "Blend RGB colors using gamma 1.00". Enable [Settings > Technology Previews > Precise color management for HDR display], butit seems to be irrelevant (that's the only other setting I changed since Photoshop installation). Create 200 x 200 px, #00f blue raster square with 50% opacity ("Normal" blend). Ctrl + J to duplicate this layer. Group them. Fill bg to say #eee. Notice that the color they have is #6767f8 (correct I assume). Move the group with the Move Tool (V) and notice the color changed to #7f7ffb. Use zoom/pan (Z) and notice it flickered back to #6767f8. It's even possible to duplicate this group and fix both copies by the zoom tooland then drag only one of these groups with Move Tool (V)
Remove Tool appears to clamp HDR values in a 32-bit documentI am using Photoshop 27.9.1 with a 32-bit/channel image in a VFX workflow.I used the Remove Tool to remove the text from a very bright area of the image. At normal exposure, the result looks clean and the removed area blends in well with the surrounding image, as shown in the first two attached images. However, when I lower the exposure to inspect the HDR information, the area processed with the Remove Tool becomes clearly visible. It appears that the generated pixels are being limited or clamped, while the original surrounding pixels retain their higher HDR values. The three attached images show: Original image – before removing the text. After using the Remove Tool – at normal exposure, the result appears clean. After lowering the exposure – the area processed by the Remove Tool becomes clearly visible because its brightness range no longer matches the surrounding HDR pixels. This may not be noticeable when exporting to an
I am trying to open photoshop but it is taking at least 2-3 attempts as it shuts down after I try and open it. Then this morning when I first restarted my computer, Photoshop opened and all the tools in the left side toolbar were visible, but I could only see the little arrows in the bottom corner of the tools, and not what tools I was choosing to use as they were blank. Once force shut down photoshop they became visbile again but I still can’t see my adjustment tools as you can see in the screenshot. I have done forced restarts of the program adn restarted my computer also.
the error message states “the file contains one or more layers which appear to be corrupt. COntinue reading layers? Also the file looks corrupted.
Expected: Content-Aware Crop should use pixels from the original image as sampling material, but only generate/fill pixels in the newly expanded canvas area.Actual: In Photoshop 27.9.1, Content-Aware Crop also modifies and blends pixels inside the original image bounds. This can distort products/models near the crop boundary. In professional retouching this is destructive because original product pixels must remain unchanged. This behavior appears to have changed after a recent Photoshop update. Previous versions did not modify the original image area in the same workflow.
Using Save As Photoshop PDF, I was able to save PDFs above 50,000 pixels wide yesterday using 27.8.After updating to 27.9.1 this morning I could no longer save a Photoshop PDF above approximately30,000 pixels wide (Photoshop PDF was no longer an option in the dropdown). After reverting back to 27.8 I can now save PDFs from files over 50,000 pixels wide again.
Hi everybody, I’m trying to make an advert for my band but I’m having different results in two different files with the same layers and can’t figure out why. I was wondering if anybody can spot the obvious mistake I’ve made?In one file (the one above) I have the album cover with a multiply blend of another image over it and a vertical gradient layer over that. When the gradient layer is on it comes out lighter so you can see the detail underneath. Grave stone etc.I have dragged the exact same layers into a different file which has some other things in it and they appear completely different when the gradient layer is on! This file (the one below) it is way darker! What could be different in file on the left to the file on the right? Many thanks for any ideas.
I’m a professional designer who regularly creates large-format artwork for commercial print. Until Photoshop 27.9, I was able to save my large PSB files as Photoshop PDFs, including documents exceeding 30,000 pixels in one dimension. This was not an occasional use case. It became part of my regular production workflow. My completed artwork could be maintained as a PSB and supplied to my commercial printer as a PDF, which is the delivery format they require.Since updating Photoshop, the Photoshop PDF option is no longer available for these documents. I have also tested the newly released Photoshop 27.10, and the restriction remains. I confirmed the change using existing PSB files that I had previously saved successfully as PDFs. The files have not changed. The available output options in Photoshop have.I understand from Adobe’s responses that the ability to save these documents as PDFs was the result of a previous change in Photoshop that was not originally intended. However, that behavi
