Photoshop

Photoshop est devenu extrêmement lent : dès son lancement, une énorme latence apparaît, puis toute l'interface rame. Malgré une réinitialisation complète et toutes les vérifications possibles, je suis totalement bloqué et ne sais plus quoi faire.

As I recall, when recording a photoshop action, there is a capability of stopping the action, allowing a pause to peform a manual adjustment and then resuming the action. I can find no tutorial on how to do this -- can someone send me in the right direction please?Thanks to those who know more than me,Joe

I scanned a stuffed animal from my childhood. It has this early 1970s pattern on a velvet-type fabric. Can anyone come up with a technique in Photoshop that will make it look like a clean cartoon without the velvet-like texture? I’ve tried blurring it but I can’t figure out how to get then crips black outlines over it. I appreciate your help.

In the latest Camera Raw update, it stopped accessing graphics acceleration, and I can't activate it.My setup:Windows 11NVidia RTX 5070 Ti 16 GBI've tried absolutely everything: cleaning the card driver and reinstalling it, adding .old to the folders, resetting the graphics card, etc., and finally contacting Adobe technical support... who started by saying that the card was "old" and not suitable for Camera Raw... Adobe, if that's the case, please indicate it on your website, because supposedly my card is suitable (and if it isn't, few people will be able to continue using Adobe products). Lightroom handles everything without a problem, and the other programs that require GPU resources do too (Da Vinci, Topaz, etc.). After saying this, the card is suitable; the problem is with Windows. I honestly don't think so; it seems like a bug in Camera Raw. That's the only thing that has problems. I submit photos to stock agencies and they do not want the copyright marked with the photographer’s name.  I’ve noticed for several versions of Photoshop that if I delete my copyright name from the File Info and Save, then close, it reappears when I reopen the file. It usually takes three tries of deleting, saving, closing and reopening for this to stick. Is there an easier way to remove the copyright the first time on Saving. I do not want to remove it from ALL my photos, just the ones I want. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My entire computer consistently crashes when I try to use “Select and mask”, Some of my photoshop files have even been corrupted if the file I tried to mask was in them. Im not sure what has been causing this. I’ve tried to update my drivers, my gpu, cleared my cache, allocated more RAM space for photoshop to use, and nothing seems to work. Any guesses as to what could be causing this? I am not extremely savvy when It comes to hardware optimization, but I couldn’t find any similar issues online to help fix this problem.

What I do in LIghtroom: I have small photo catalogues, usually I work with clients via dng files, so my catalogues are very small. My main use is masks, a lot of masks when I edit, also denoise. Do I really need that full support of preview generation or better take faster 5070?I have 265K + 32GB RAM

I'm experiencing an issue with Photoshop web version. When I opening the Photoshop web version, the interface shows only a white screen with all buttons grayed out and unclickable. Problem persists across different monitors and even when switching to another PC. Does anyone know how to fix it? Thank you for any info.

Today, Photoshop did not start, because the application was damaged or incomplete. I tried to load the  newest version of the app in the Creative Cloud, but all what’s happening ist, that the state is »waiting«. I now can’t use Photoshop anymore, for therer is no version on my computer und noone is loadable. What can I do?

This is a bit complicated. Sorry.I have been using Photoshop 2025 on current Mac OS. A while ago, CC apparently installed Photoshop 2026 (it is in my applications folder) but launching Photoshop has continued to launch 2025. Further, CC (yes, I’ve logged out and back in and restarted the computer) shows that Photoshop is NOT installed at all.  In Photoshop 2025 if I go to Help → Updates I see no option to update my installed copy of Photoshop 2025 or switch to the installed copy of Photoshop 2026… and under the “Apps” page in CC, while Lightroom and Lightroom Classic show as installed (I see the “Open” buttons), next to Photoshop I see “Install.”)While I can manually launch the installed Photoshop 2026 application, it does not have access to any of my workspace or preferences from 2025. Using the “click the 3 dots in the CC Photoshop square to check for other versions” doesn’t work either, since CC seems to be unaware that Photoshop is even installed on my computer. Again, sorry for th

I saw in another discussion that Magic Wand tool had been removed from Photoshop Web - is it missing in Photoshop CC now with the recent update as well? Running version 26.8.1. Please explain to me how to quickly selected the transparent outer edges of an image that has had rotation a few degrees applied in Lightroom and I need to fill the edges outside the original image with content aware fill (a situation quite common when doing small corrections to perspective or rotations when there is not enough cropping margins in the original image).  Lightroom is still in 2025 for all its AI magic tools still lacking the ability to automatically fill the edges itself, even though mobile tools like Google SnapSeed has had this for years, so I need to spend time in Photoshop with this. The Magic Wand was an instant one-click in Photoshop to select the transparent outer edges. Photoshop 2026 will not open any JPEG files. I receive a message that says “Could not open “file name” because the file was not found.” Yes, the files are there and are uncorrupted– Preview and other other apps have no problem with the JPEGs. It does not matter if the files are local, on a drive, or wherever. Also, photoshop has no issue opening PNGs, PSDs, or really any other normals file formats. I recently updated, reinstalled, restarted, and deleted photoshop 2025 from my machine to try to remedy the problem. I’m working on an iMac 2020 with Sequoia 15.7.3As a work around, I’ve been opening the JPGs in Preview and copying and pasting them into a Photoshop file, but I’d prefer a real fix over this method.

Hello, I am trying to create an action to help me edit images for my store. There are several steps to editing each picture, and therefore I decided making an action would be easier to go through everything.  I have 2 layers, one is the item (without a background)  and one is the background. I would like the item to always have the same width, that way it looks a bit more uniform on the website. However, since they are different objects, before making them the same size, they always have different sizes. My issue is, when I do the action, and use transform to make the item layer a specific size, it is translated into a percentage. Therefore, the images are resized by a specific percentage, instead of resizing to a specific size, like I wished. The action says "Transform current layer" and then the Width is for example 76,9%. But as you can imagine, different sizes, resized to 76,9% mean different final pixel sizes. Does anyone know how to make an action th

Ok i have about 60 photos that range in size from 1080p 4:3 to 6k 16:9 and some are portrait and others are landscape. I want to send these to a client to choose the ones she wants graded/developed. I know how to batch resize when all of the photos are the same size but how would i process all of this batch so that they are all no larger than 1920px in H or W?
