Photoshop (Beta)

I am writing to report an issue with the Photoshop Beta version that I have been experiencing recently. Unfortunately, I have encountered continuous crash reports when using the latest update of Photoshop Beta. To provide some context, I had been using the previous version of Photoshop Beta without any problems.  I have made several attempts to troubleshoot the issue on my end, including: Reinstalling Photoshop Beta: I uninstalled the application and then reinstalled it to ensure that the installation was not corrupted. Updating Graphics Drivers: I verified that my graphics drivers were up to date to eliminate any potential conflicts. Line tool is missing arrowheads option.

My Photoshop was last updated on 8/23/2023. Operating System - Windows 10 Adobe Photoshop Version: 25.0.0 20230727.m.2257 47ac892 x64   I am using Real-time Refinement, with the black and white view. I made my selection with select subject. When I select on the brush to refine, (2nd brush down), I only get an arrow, not a brush.  Using that arrow, I get SPOTS rather than a smooth flow for the refine. I have updated since the the theoretical fix date, but am still having the same issue. It is not a problem in the non-beta version.  

If I zoom into two images placed side by side in beta 25.1 and try to move them simultaneously, it does not work as it did in 24.6/24.7. Only one image is moving, the other does not. And there is just one more bug. If I duplicate an image and want to place the two images side by side, the new one to the right gets skewed.  

I updated Photoshop Beta today. I'm not sure if it's a Beta update issue because it was working fine the whole day until like an hour ago. Suddenly, when I go into Select and Mask, I'm not able to see the brush circle. I only see my mouse. The quick selection tool, refine edge brush tool, the brush tool all work when I click the mouse. I just don't see any circle around my mouse. I tried hitting the Caps Lock key, turned Photoshop on and off, turned my computer on and off, resetted all preferences, but the issue still remains. Am I the only one having this issue?

I have had a number of crashes in Photoshop Beta where I have copied an object from a Illustrator Beta EPS file, and pasted into a photoshop beta document as a smart object. Following the creation of the Smart Object layer, when moving or resizing the smart object photoshop crashes with no messages and exits. Version of the app: 24.7 m2215 Platform and OS version: Windows 10.0.19043 Build 19043 Basic steps to reproduce the problem: See above Expected result and actual result: See Above

"Close and go to Bridge" command now open CC Desktop app instaed of Bridge Only just started to happen in PS Beta 25.0

I have tried to generate several different types of things and i keeps getting the same error message " A problem Accured Please Try Again .  And it is very slow now also.

I like to use the neural filter's coordination feature and would like to record him into the action and batch process the images, but this causes an error to be reported, showing the neural filter timeout

Yesterday I clean installed Win 11 again and wanted to try out the new feature, so I installed the beta and here is what happened: After finished installation I opened it up and loaded a generic grass land image to try the simplest prompt, "Bird", so I found it wasn't working, but all the other tools seems fine. I work in srgb color space, but every time I use Photoshop Beta and open "classic" Photoshop, the color space has changed by itself to Adobe RGB. And the CMYK changed to Japan Web Coated (Ad), and I use the U.S. Web Coated SWOP v2.

Can someone get word to the PS beta engineers that an installation bug deletes the PS2023 app icon in Launchpad on Macs when PS beta is installed. The Illustrator beta does not do this. Thanks.      ["Launchpad" added to subject for clarity]    

Photoshop Beta 24.7.0 Windows 11 Create a mask, set Sample to Current Layer, click in Layer mask, sample In other versions of Photoshop, when the Eyedropper tool's Sample is set to Current Layer, the Eyedropper selects the black and white values of the Mask. In Photoshop Beta, it's ignoring the mask and sampling from the masked image. This is undesired. Sometimes we have to paint the mask and color sampling makes this much easier.    

I downloaded the latest Photoshop Beta as of today. I used the Generative AI and decided that the selection was not as specific as I wanted, so I went to hover over the selection tool to choose a tool and the machine immediately reboots. I have duplicated this problem.   I have the latest nVidia Studio drivers (just checked). I see plenty of mentions of no/disabled Generative Fill option, but few that are result of being stuck on version 24.5 ...Im on Mac OS Ventura, connected to Adobe via MS Teams and it seems im stuck at 24.5.I've uninstalled Beta, restarted, and reinstalled Beta twice, both resulted in 24.5 installs. I tried the "Check for updates" option a couple times, but 24.6 didnt come up. I uninstalled again, updated stable PS, restarted, and did a few more "Check for updates" rounds, but 24.6 is still not an option.- Is the feature simply not rolled out universally yet? - Or maybe this something our IT crew needs to allow first? - Is there a direct link to install this particular version? I checked this in Photoshop 2023, to see if this was something to do with my system alone, but it seems to just be an issue with Beta, and only since the last update.   Beta Release 24.7.0   All the Styles in the styles menu come up looking like this:   Is anyone else seeing this, and/or is there a fix for this?

Photoshop Beta 24.7.0 is buggy when you invoke Raw Camera Filter and Geometry. 1) The original image, 2) subject selected, background cleared for use with Camera Raw filter, 3) the final result after Geometry was applied to straighten image. It wasn’t straightened at all, the edges were cropped, and some of the original image was added in the middle. 

As the tietle says, when you are using Generative fill, the toolbar floats above the photoshop(beta) feedback window when it's opened...   Screenshot below:   Maybe a z-index issue...?   Thanks! R

Photoshop Beta Version 24.6.0 20230603.m.2196 77b00e0 x64 PC & Windows 10   Make a selection, click Generative Fill in the Contextual Task Bar, type some words, then press the Home key.. Click to move the text cursor somewhere earlier in the text, then press the End key.   When typing, one would expect to be able to navigate the text with the Home and End keys in the same way they can use the arrow keys to move the text cursor, or the Shift key + arrow keys to make a selection.  When typing a descriptive prompt in the Properties window, both the Home and End keys work as expected, but when typing a descriptive prompt in the Contextual Task Bar, neither the Home or End keys function although the arrow keys, Shift + arrow keys, Ctrl + A, etc. work as expected. 

When using the Beta AI-assisted generation plugin, it creates a backup file of approximately 3-4 GB in size on the temporary file. I wanted to report this because I'm unsure if it's an error on my part.   here is only one AI generation available between two images. Thank you.

I have been playing with the generative AI feature on the Beta Photoshop app and have found that occasionally, when I generate something, while the new content appears in the thumnails under the 'Variations' drop down, it does not appear on the image. 

In the generative fill text field, clicking home/end in the keyboard does not effect and changes the text cursor location.

When I try to use generative fill I'm getting the following error message after clicking on Generate: "An error occurred during image generation: error get_session_id session id not found: 1000"I've never seen this error message and the internet is completely empty when I try searching it on google. Can anyone help? Why is this happening?
