Photoshop (Beta)

I've got the most up to date version of Photoshop Beta (25.7), but when I open the program am getting the "Time to update! It has been five weeks since this release build was released..." pop up in the corner and no way to dismiss it. 

I would like to be able to find the percentages, of any one of my used colors in Photoshop.So if I make any design, I can find out how many percentages each color have. It makes a difference when a customer wants to go from 10 to 15 percent of any given color. Perhaps it could be under the View panel. 🙂

In filters / blur gallery - disable blur control (invisible). it became impossible to control the blur direction

Many threads on the issue of editing files in PS by using the "Edit In" functionality of lightroom. We know we can't open the files, at least not without waiting.    In the context of my workflow, using raw with DNG in LR. Normally when cross editing in PS there is no target file generated until we hit save. If we cancel there is no file generated at all (except maybe in cache or memory). Thus it appears I am editing directly in the DNG when it opens in photoshop.The latest updates however immediately generate a target file, for me this is a tiff file. Worse, that file remains on the disk and appears to be the one we are editing in PS when it eventually opens up. Even if we don't save that tiff will appear in the stack. This is very damaging in terms of space and the collection. Should be pretty easy to reporoduce. Good luck!

When I start PSD, the brush tool is set to adjustment brush tool per default (Would love to change that). When I then enter Quick Mask and want to start brushing and forgot to change to the normal brush the moment I click on the canvas the app freezes > spinning beach ball.

Hi!Two things:The first is that you can't move the panels in the latest Photoshop Beta update. They seem to be locked.And the second is that the option to import/export workspaces, in presets, still does not appear.Thanks!   Adobe Photoshop Beta 25.7.0 macOS Ventura 13.6.6  

I need help with the print possibilities in Photoshop. When I have made a print, and found the ex. 20 colors to use, then I have named the colors.Sometimes I give them names, in other situations they have numbers. However, I am looking for a way to print my design, with the color palette showing, with the names of them belonging to each color. Fingers crossed its possible and someone can help me 🙂 Thanx.

Run PS-Beta 25.6 on macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 on an Aplle M3 Pro-Systeme, 64 GB. Whenever I open an  image ind BS-Beta, all I see is the gray background – but no image (though the PS-layer stack shows an  imga icon. I’m getting strange behavior when using the PS Beta (25.7) Remove Tool with my Wacom Pen on an updated Windows 11 desktop. The first issue: When I circle an object to be removed with my pen, it does not fill in the area to remove the encircled section. The second issue: After making 3-5 pen strokes with the Remove Tool brush, the program freezes for about three minutes, followed by an error message that I’m out of RAM.None of these issues occur when using a mouse. I can use the Remove Tool all day without any problem, as long as I set aside my Wacom Pen when doing so.It’s an annoyance, and I’d love to know how I may remedy the bug.Before posting, I reset my Photoshop Preferences and ensured that my graphics driver and Wacom Tablet were up to date – all to no avail. Additionally, I confirmed that I have plenty of Scratch Disk space and no RAM problems. Finally, I increased the Photoshop RAM allowance to 85 percent from the 70 percent default.Thanks. 

all the layers are highlighted with blue box, can not click to select layers. Must right click to select layers after continually hitting ctrl + H

I'm trying to download Photoshop Beta on my new mac but the Beta category is missing from CC.   

I came across this feature in the Beta Feedback panel today, but can't get it to work.     I start CAF and make a selection, and import a second image which brings up this warning dialog:   It tells you to use the Alignment tool to drop pins, which I have done... which does create pins on the additional image, but I see no interaction in the fill panel (right of screen), nor can I move or select or do anything so far to make this work.   If I click on OK without placing any pins, it crashes Photoshop every time. If I do place pins, and hit OK, it runs (very quickly) but I see no influence of the second image in the Fill.  Has anyone worked this out?  

Hi! I'd love some help finiding the fastest solution for my challenge. I have photos of wooden and fabic furniture products (ie.beds, chairs, coffee tables etc.) and I was hoping new Ai technology could help quickly change the wood types/textures and stains/colors of the products, without changing the details of the product (keeping the build of the product completley identical). but I have not had any success with this. Midjourney does not have this cabability either. I am open to other solutions as well, maybe other programs within Adobe. ....I also started to try and create room scenes, would be great to make a room scene using only our products. and being able to use a 2d photograh to create a 3d model of the furniture to give a 360 view, or stage in different perspectives. at the same time of everything looking as realistic as possible. thank you for your help!

...or are we stuck with converting our images to 8 bits ?

Every time I open an image in the last few days, it opens with a grid. So I have to uncheck view- extras to get rid of it. I am sure it is probably some box I checked by accident to make this happen. I looked in my preferences and did not see anything that stands out. Any ideas?

PS beta (25.7)...the Layers window does not stay in the panel when I close PS.  I have to open the window each time I start the program.  Adjustment and LIbraries no issue. 

Using PS 25.4.0 Beta. Selecting images in LR 13.1 to open   as layers  not working.  Only opens 1 image.  Any ideas? Thnaks.       {Thread title updated by modertor}

Hello,   When I try to use the Eydropper tool when coloring in a path in Photoshop, I get the error 'Could not use the Eyedropper tool due to a program error'. (translated from Dutch). I added a video of what happens as an attachment to this post.   It only shows this error when I thy te recolor a path (rectangle or such). The normal Eydropper tool works just fine.   Anyone having the same problem?
