getting message: photoshop elements+ message "could not complete move command result would be too big."

Hi, I'm trying to convert a jpeg into a jpg.  The purpose is for a Cd cover and the company have rejected the image saying it should be a .JPG and not a .Jpeg image.However I'm having a nightmare on the internet using Online converters as everyone thinks the two file types are the same thing.  I just know that one is a lossless format and the other a lossy format.Does anyone know how it's done ?  Even Photoshop Elements won't give me the chance to save it as a .JPG  And I can't find an Export option.Many Thanks.   David.

We had an old computer which finally died and now have moved to Windows 11.  The old computer will not run.  I have installed the backup on the new computer.  How do I convert the catalog.pse12db to the latest version?Thanks

I am trying to learn Adobe Photoshop elements 2024 for Mac and when I go into "Tags" I am only seeing Media, People, Places and Events as options.  There is no option for Keywords.  What am I doing wrong?

"Automatically suggest photo stacks" in Elements 2024 seems very broken. It suggest photos that are wildly different for stacking. I have just tried this again after the latest update and, for example, I highlighted about 200 photos for automatic stacking suggestions. It suggests 30 entirely different phots as a stack and another ~150 phots as a single stack.  To illistrate how bad this is, it suggested I stack a picture of a computer keyboard with many different people. And a horse! Stacking used to be good in older versions but in 2024 is seems hopeless.  Advice please.

Hallo zusammen,mir war aufgefallen, dass ich in einem importierten Ordner nur einen Bruchteil der Fotos sehe, die tatsächlich in dem Dateiordner abgelegt sind. Auch ein Neuimport des Ordners hat den Fehler nicht behoben. Der Fortschrittsbalken beim Import scheint die richtige Anzahl zu haben, aber er meldet dann, dass keine Elemente importiert wurden, da sie schon vorhanden sind.Ansonsten funktioniert der Import eigentlich immer einwandfrei....Kann mir hier jemand helfen?

have just downloaded and found that PPP files not supported,  I can't belive it!

I am looking for a new version because I had bought a new computer.I have a very old version (9).I want to know if the latest version (2024) can use a backup from the old version, with all the tags and all the categorires ? Thansk.

I have a new pc and want to transfer my photoshop Elements 2021 programme and working files to it, but cannot find a solution. Can anyone assist.Thank you, Joe

According to the Photoshop Elements user guide, I can set my user interface to light of dark mode from the Preferences/General screen.  I have Elements 2023 but I don't see that selection opportunity in the Preferences/General screen.  ThanksDoug

Hallo,ichhabe am 14.04.2024 Photoshop Elements 2024 über Amazon gekauft. Photoshop Elements Organizer lässt sich öffnenund bearbeiten aber der  Fotoeditor öffnet sich nicht. Ich soll einen Code eingeben. Wenn ich den zum aktivieren von Photoshop eingegeben hatte nochmals eingebe steht dann Dieser Code wurde bereits ...eingelöst. Eine andere Nummer habe ich aber nicht. Was kann ich tun damit das Programm vollständig funktioniert?

Nach Kauf eines neuen PCs habe ich Photoshop Elements 12 auf dem alten PC abgemeldet und habe dann vergeblich versucht, es auf dem neuen PC zu installieren. Auf meiner persönlichen Adobe-Seite ist das Programm unter "Registrierte Produkte" vorhanden. Der Download von dieser Seite und der anschließende Installationsversuch ergibt die gewünschte PSE-App auf dem Monitor, aber das Programm ist nicht ausführbar! Eine versuchte Installation von einer DVD war ebenso erfolglos. Vom Technischen Adobe-Support habe ich erfahren, dass Elements 12 blockiert wird, da es nicht mehr unterstützt wird! Ich verstehe ja, dass Adobe die alten Programme nicht supported, aber sie zu blockieren geht zu weit! Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, das Programm trotz der Blockierung so zu installieren, dass es auch nutzbar ist?

I had purchased Adobe Elements 2022. how to upgrade Adobe Elements 2022 to adobe elements 2024?  i am having a problem with 2022 when uploading pics from sd card. I am shooting "continuously" on my Nikon camera. That is just holding down the take picture button for a few seconds rapidly taking one pic after another. I am filming a softball pitcher in their windup & delivery. The pics on the SD card are in correct sequence. However, when seeing the pics in adobe elements 2022, before actually uploading to the pc, two pics are shown out of order. When i upload them, they are in that misorder. This happens on every occasion where i have pics shot in continuous mode. i wanted to see if Adobe Elements 2024 corrected that problem. thank you!

Hello,I use Adobe Photoshop Elements 12. Can I turn the white background in product photos into a transparent one? I'm currently using a magic eraser, but it doesn't always remove the background perfectly (especially when there are shadows).  Thank you in advance for your help!

When first opening up PhotoShop, is there a way to quickly go to photo editing without having to go through all the Photo Editor/Organizer/Video Editor welcome screens?

Un jour, il ne fonctionneplus plus.Lorsque je démarre le logiciel Photoshop Element 20214 et je clique sur l'icone "Editeur de photo".Je recois un message "Error of loading off IPP CV library"  Je ne sais pas comment faire pour que cela marche.J'ai déjà installer et desinstaller deux fois mais le problème persiste.Merci de vos retour.Je ne sais pas s'il y a une HOTLINE TECHNIQUE pour ce logiciel.

I am unable to copy an image (JPEG/TIFF) to Photoshop elements. Cannot copy paste at all. The paste option under the Edit Tab in Photoshop elments is also greyed out. Please help. 

I have a Elements 2024 installation on Win 11 PC and run RAW 16.2. 1. I don't get the full edit-menu in RAW16.2, the one with curves, lensblur etc... I get only a limited version. Is there a compatibility issue?2. When I start up and open from Bridge (double click an image), Elements opens up and I get a message in that I need to download Camera Raw which I have done.... but the image does not open. But when I open direct from Elements (File >Open in Raw) Raw opens up. It also opens consequtive images from Bridge in RAW. But when I close dow Bridge and Elements and start again the same issue comes. I kind of need to "activate" the Open in Raw in Elements.Appreciate some tip on what goes wrong.RegardsHarald

HiI have bought a new computer, a laptop running Win 11. I have Photoshop Elements 13 and Premiere Elements 13 installed on the old computer. I'm gonna buy the newest version of these programs. I think it is version 2024. How do I transfer the Catalog from version 13 to version 2024. I want everything from the old catalog transfered to the new computer, for example all the tags for the photos and of course all the photos. Best RegardsHåkan WallenthinSweden

I used to be able to transform a picture into a shape without using the shape tool and not distorting the image. I can no longer remember how to do this and i've googled everything and can not find anything about it. I remember there was a shortcut key as well.

I have a Nikon Coolpix P1000 and I've installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023.  It won't let me open any photos - be it jpeg or Open in Camera Raw. This is what comes up when I try - "Could not complete your request because Photoshop Elements does not recognize this type of file"Does anyone know why?  I would appreciate any advice, thankyou. 

Hi, I have been installing the SmartCurve plugin which I used on PSE11 with no problems, but now I'm using pse 15 and 2024 I find it does not work, when I open the plugin on the filter menu it crashes and shuts down pse. I use this plugin to make graphics for social media (Dreamwidth) and would like to find a solution   

Recently, I had to replace my desktop Windows 10 computer. I now have a more up to date version of No. 10.Unfortunately, not all of my programmes transferred to the new one, including my Photoshop Elements 20.It has vanished into cyber space.I previously had an Elements 15 disc.  But don't have one for 20. I cannot remember where or when I purchased it, and have changed email address several times.I doubt very much that you will be able to help, apart from me buying a new PSE.Just thought I would ask.I don't use it much these days,  Thank you.
