Photoshop Elements

Hello, I'm testing the trial version of Adobe Elements, and I've some questions. There's a way to have a dark mode? (I read many have problems of photosensitivity (and me too) and the white mode is not good for my eyes...I hope is possible with pse 2023?2. There is the pen tool? I still didn't find yet this tool.. 3. There is the possibility once one purchase the full Photoshop elements , to change language? I mean, Im trying the Italian version but I would like also from time to time, change the language and use english version, as the tutorials online are most in English and is more simply (even if I'm italian) for me learn with english tutorials. But at the same time, if I purchase it, I prefer Italian, but if I could switch from italian to english , it would be great!  Thank you for the informations 🙂 

I'm running PSE 2023 on a new HP Envy desktop running the latest version of Win 11. Until recently PSE worked as it should but now the quick/guided/expert modes are missing. I've tried updating preferences and reinstalling,  (which stuck me in quick mode instead of expert). Here's a screenshot of PSE.

Suddenly my cursor is invisible in Elements 2023. Help, please.(I have seen post re: elements organizer. not applicable and didn't help)

Hello... I'm testing pse but it seems there's no  oil painting filter (I'm following an youtube tutorial and it says 😞Go to Stylize and "Oil Painting". But pse don't have this option. I know there's a sort of oil paint effect but that's  can't be adjusted the strokes and other factors. It  gives just  painting effect by change the canvas texture, but the oil painting effect I need is like this (sorry quality of image, anyway, the effect it should be like painting strokes the photo itself not the canvas texture):  Where we can contact Adobe official team and ask   to add this style some day and request this feature?For the tutorial I m following , there's need a oil painting stylize option or I can't make the same result... Maybe there's actions that give the possibility to adjust the photos and give the oil painting effect?Thanks in advance for help!

Not sure how, but my iPhone 13 started recording videos in HEVC.  Is there a good, safe app that will convert the HEVC video to an H.264 video?

Hello. 2 days ago (around), I've installed (from Microsoft app store)  a version trial of Photoshop Elements (to try and decide if purchased it the full or not). The problem is that when it was installed, only the first time it asked me a sort of 'what version do you prefer to try'? I selected Photoshop elements 2022 (I believe), or in any case a more old version. Now, since I want to test and try the leatest version, I've tried to unistal and install again from microsoft but the photoshop elements seems it's launched always as 2022 (or something)...But I remember that the very very first time I've tried to install (maybe it was photoshop elements from the site adobe instead of microsoft, I don't remember (since in these days I'm testing many others graphic paintings softwares trial). Anyway, the very first time I've installed the Photoshop elements and I remember to have selected the last version available (the one that says it requires at least 8 gb of ram . But when instal

 I just purchased a Macbook Pro with M2 chip & when trying Select-> Subject my Photoshop Elements 2022 gives me an error (cannot find a prominent subject). This was not an issue with my old Macbook Pro with the Intel chip. Is there a solution to this frustrating problem?

Using windows 10 and photoshop elements 15 I am unable to edit files because I get the message "Coud not compete your request because the active layer is empty" and them "insufficiebnt RAM"  I gather I'm not the first person to have this problem but answers so far provided don't help.

Somehow my iPhone 13 changed videos from H.264 to HEVC.  I have Windows 11 and PSE 2022.  The HEVC videos won't import from my iPhone.  iPhone was and is Settings>Camera>Formats>Most Compatible.  Now PSE2022 won't even recognice my iPhone when I try to Import photos.  I have backed up PSE 2022 when closing, powered off my laptop, unplugged iPhone and External HD (contains my Catalog).  Powered on laptop, reconnected iPhone and Ext HD.  When I try to Import my photos, no device is found.There were some other issues that happened when I tried to Import a video HEVC, but I'll save that if you need to know additional information. FYI, the WIN10 CU is incompatible with Photoshop Elements 11.  After installing the CU, the editor's pull down menus are blank and the editor program crashes.  See https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2303426  This thread is marked SOLVED.  However, it is NOT.  There has been no response to numerous forum posts from either Adobe or Microsoft.  It is unclear if PSE15 is compatible with WIN10 CU.

Hi,    Using Elements Organiser 2022 Places dialogue, I can drag and drop an "unpinned" image onto a map and it will stay pinned there.  Even when I close and restart Organiser.  But when I look at the file, its last modified date hasn't changed and (not surprisingly) there is no GPS data or place name associated with it.  In fact its only the Organiser Catalog that has been updated.  This is immediately obvious when the image is deleted from the catalog and re-imported.  It is no longer is pinned.   I've read https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/elements-organizer/using/adding-places.html which talks about adding location data to your media files.  It would seem that the one thing Organiser doesn't do is add location data to the media files.  One of the reasons I upgraded from my older license was because the mapping function died when Adobe had a bust up with Google - they used Google Maps.   To be honest I really don't

I have moved my photos to a new PC.  Is there an easy way to change the location of all the files?  On my old computer the location was C:\User\Username\OneDrive\Pictures...On the new one it is:C:\User\Usern\OneDrive\Pictures...The photos are already moved to the new PC using windows file copy.  Reconnecting the Missing photos is taking a very long time because the auto connect doesn't work effeciently and if I do it mannually I need to search for each subfolder manually.  Is there a way to just tell the program that the files are in the same subfolders but the UserName folder has changed? Thanks, 

I can't find a suitable group to post this question. I have Elements 2020 and legacy Lightroom v6 in my adobe account. Lately I can't sign into my account because Adobe wants a phone number now. There's no way I can bypass this step:Does anyone know how to bypass the request for a phone number?

I have realised that I have GPS data in Strava for a lot of images that I have taken while walking and cycling over the years. I don't think that PSE 2020 will do this directly, but I can use a variety of tools to update the images to add GPS metadataWhat I can't do is get PSE to use that data to pin images that have already been imported.Is there an easy way to make PSE read the GPS metadata and pin the images according to that data?I think that PSE reads the GPS data when it imports the files and woud pin it then, but I don't want to delete and reimport as it would lose the edits and tagging.I read somewhere that updating the thumbnail might do it, but that doesn't seem to work.Any ideas?

Elements 2023. How do I change my address in the Info Copyright box of thousands of picture files? 

I recently purchased my mac and it's my first one (but I have used Photoshop Elements 2019 on my PC). When I open elements organizer 2023 on my mac it works for 1-10 minutes and then crashes. At first I thought it was crashing when it tried to update watched folders, but I no longer have watched folders and it's still doing it. Sometimes I'm in the application, and others I've tabbed out to do something else, most recently checking activity monitor... I have had a dozen versions of Elements over the years and all have work great...The newer versions with the guided tools is a big pain in the ass as far as keeping things running...The Painterly Tool never works more than one or two times after doing a reset and that is a pain...How do I fix this issue perminatly?

I have somehow deleted the task bar at the bottom of my screen (that has the Photo Bin and Tool Options, etc) and cannot fully recover it.  I have gotten back the Photo Bin by pressing fn5, and the current tool by pressing fn4, but I'm unable to find the rest of the task bar.  I'm running Elements 2023 on a Mac using MacOS 13.5.1Can someone lead me in the right direction, please!  Most of the help I've found seems more directed to PCs than Macs.Thanks in Advance,Don
