Photoshop Elements

I"ve moved my Photos (grouped into folders) to my new computer.  Re-installed Elements 8 on the new computer.  How do I sync and pull the photos into Elements, maintaining the cataloging (keyword tags) that I had built on the previous computer? John

Hello All, I hope everyone is well today. So here is my issue. I have downloaded the 30 day trial of Photoshop Elements 2021 on 4-23-21. Everything was fine with the install and I had the slightest clue that there was an issue. I go get my overpriced Starbucks coffee and come back home ready to work. I get my Surface Pen and open a new file, and set my parameters for my workspace. Mind you, I am using my Surface Pen to do this. So with my Surface Pen, I try to click on expert mode and it only highlights to a white color. Ok? so let me tap it with my finger. That works fine. Ok cool. I then with my Surface Pen, go to the top menu to place an object into the layer. That works fine. I press enter since it's kinda where I want it anyway. I will move it later if need be. I go the select the pencil and it doesn't work. Ok, Weird! So I click it with my finger. I click on the size I want with my Surface Pen and change it to 5px and try to draw on the layer. I have a newly installed PSE 2023 program on a brand new MacPro.  PSE is not recognizing my sd card although it is recognized by the Mac   It simply states no device is found    Any advice on what I am doing wrong or is the program defective?

I scanned 10 Old photos in 1200 dpi using my HP Printer Scanning, and had them imported into my PSE 2023 running in Windows 11. Only 1 shows up both as a Thumbnail and full view when double-clicked, but NINE others do NOT. The file sizes are as follows: One that displays is 4.42 MB; others are 17.8, 57.8, 17.8, 74.2, 52.7, 7.99, 63.1, 15.6, and 62.6 MB. I don;t know if the size is a reason or not. I am hoping someone knowledgeable can help me fix this issue. Thank you so much.

Hi, I ma using Photoshop Elements 2021 on my Window 10 pc. When trying to use the the Select Subject command I get the following message " Could not complete the Subject command because of a program error". I have reset the preferences but still not luck. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought Elements 11 several years ago from Costco. I can't find a serial number anywhere on the package, nor on a card inside. How can I recover the serial number from my old hard drive (I still have it) and install it on the new PC?The Adobe Registration page recognizes me but it doesn't list the PSE registration.

I have installed Elements 2023 on my Acer laptop. Tried to open Camera Raw, but got the message that I had to download it from Adobe add-on utilities.  Tried to do that, but got the failure code 176 (cannot be installed on a Network station). Is my laptop a network station???

I'm trying to backup and restore a catalog on a old computer with Elements 11 to a new computer with Elements 2023. I've performed a full backup of the old catalog, but when trying to restore the catalog in the new computer there is no .tly file to select. The folder in which I stored the backup contains two files without extensions (B0000001 and B0000002), a large number of .xml files, and every .jpg that from the old catalog. I tried backing up the catalog several times with identical results, and I'm not sure what to do next. Thanks!

I have a photography plan and also used Photoshop Elements 2022. The performance on the m1 max even with 64 GB Ram is just terrible so i uninstalled the app and now i cant find it anymore on the app store and have to pay again for the 2023 version??? What kind of service is this? Is there a real service from Adobe with real employees to help customers or just the keyboard warriors sitting in mummy's basement? 

Hello,I have downloaded and installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2023. My PX : Windows 11 22H2 version.It doesn't work. Several windows like Frames,  Textures, Effects, Adjustments are hidden by a black bar at the bottom of the software.And when I select a part of a picture with the Quick Selection Tool, it' impossible to delete the selected part of my picture. Can you help me?

I'v been using Elements for many years and have never had trouble downsizing files to fit my monitor.I just retired my old puter for a newer one.I had to reload Elements 2021.My photos will not display to the size I choose.I believe I'm using the proper settings.I shoot in RAW and save in Tiff. Any Ideas?

just purchased PSE 2023 when I try to install camera raw editor  a error 131 pops up. I tryed several times, same issue.  HELP

Upgraded to Elements and Premiere 2023 I am on Win 10 on a powerful PC with a high enf Nvdia card  Every day I get the message "No more virtual tiles can be allocated" I have changed my scratch disc around as some suggested in 2019 to no avail whatsoverI have four drives, none are fullContacted support twice, asked for my regustration numbers and never got a reply (hopeless support) I have tried running as adminsistrator, no difference. I believe it it is auto create module doing this.I oncve saw a registry edit trick on YouTube, it did nothing. Any ideas please?

Hi,i have a long list and i need to create layers for each name on the list,can i make this with a script or something because its takes very long time?

i want to go "windows->actions" but actions is not avail, so im advised to switch on 'expert" mode.problem is i can only find a panel that says "full, guided, quick" (modes) is this waht im looking for?then: i select 'full'and still when i go "windows->" ...'actions' is still non avail! see image below: please enlighten me as to where i might be going wrong with all this. many thanx

I am need of help from experienced photo editors using Topaz. I do basic editing with Photoshop Elements and now Topaz. I have been first opening my photo in stand alone Topaz Denoise and choosing my best option then Topaz has been saving the new file to the same folder as the original as a JPG. Then I open that file in Photoshop Elements and finish editing. I am now getting the following error message when I try to open the file that Topaz has saved. For some reason Topaz Denoise is not attaching the proper file name. I have changed nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Photoshop Elements 2023 läuft nach dem Start ganz normal hoch. Dann friert das Programm für 35 Sekunden ein. Anschließend läuft alles normal. Das passiert nach jedem Start.info@a-bacher.de

I have Photoshop Elements 2022 on my Dell laptop. At first, I really liked the 2022 version. But then AI effects stopped working with just a brown screen and now the clone brush and the refine edge brush in Replace background no longer works.  Because I like Photoshop and use it daily, I have just continued creating with some work-arounds but it is getting harder and harder to be creative.  Should I just update and buy photoshop Elements 2023?  I have Windows 11.  Any advise is appreciated. Thanks!
