Photoshop Elements

I have just updated from PE 2018 to PE2023 and found several problems. In Organizer, the images are all tightly packed together with no data, so it is necessary to click on an image to full size to see the data which makes it much more time cunsuming and tedious. In PE2018 Organizer the images were all separate with some data with each image. In Editor, the drop down menus are now so large that they obscure the image, can they be reduced in size? The editing sliders do not show the changes as the slider is moved, only when stopped, not so in PE2018. This makes subtle changes more difficult and time consuming. I hope these problems can be resolved, meanwhile I have gone back to PE2018 

When you use a photo in a project, does it stay in your project even if you later delete that photo?

I updated to the 4.3.4 version of Nik.  When I opened Photoshop Elements 2020 and it went to update the plugins, it crashed.  It won't open, it just crashes repeatedly.  I get a Finder window saying "The file can't be found."  Someone on the DxO/Nik site reported the same thing on a PC.  I have a Mac on Big Sur.  I tried to follow the Adobe help with plugins page, but there is no "Plugin" folder.  Not when you try going through Applications>Adobe PSE>Support>, or Applications>PSE>Support>Assets, there isn't a Plugin folder anywhere there.  (There is a "plugin.icns" 45kb.)  I also tried Library>Preferences>Adobe>Plugins, but it's only the Adobe filter gallery.  I created a ticket with DxO/Nik.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks! 

Lorsque je lance une impression, Photoshop élément 2020 se ferme sans faire l impression... j ai windows 10, il est à jour et mon navigateur edge est à jour (j ai même essayé avec la dernière version Chrome) et j ai réinstallé photoshop... Que faire ? 

Recently downloaded and installed PSE 9 on my new computer. Installed fine but when I tried to restart my computer it wouldn't go past the LENOVO boot screen.   Is there a known issue with PSE 9 and Windows 11 or the Lenovo Yoga PCs?     [Correction by moderator: was Windows 10]  

I have Photoshop Elements 2019 and want to change a person in a phot hair to white. CanI do this?

I bought PSE 2023 on the web, so I did not receive a disc.  It quit working a while back.  What do I do?     {Title edited by Moderator}

I created a panorama in Elements Editor (2021). I saved it in JPEG format. Elements Organizer can't open the new panorama photo. The Organizer shows the photo as a broken gray square. It was created in Elements. How could this be? Every other program I tried opens the photo fine.

Hey everyone, When using photoshop, I find it time consuming renaming my layers. I’m using a Mac, and I’m aware of the voice control option underneath Accessibility. Is there anyway to utilize this so I can speak into my Mac and change the layer name while I have it selected so I don’t have to type it? Or if voice control doesn’t work, are there any external plugins I could use to accomplish this? Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi,I'm trying out PSE 2023. I want to transfer the catalogue from PSE 11 , really to check that all tags and albums are still there.Question: if I do this, will the catalogue still also be in PSE 11?And if not,  what happens to it if I decide not to buy PSE2023? Many thanks

it is not working. I can get program to open but not organizer. yes, I turned off PE. yes, I shut down my computer, Yes I restarted everything and PE will not work. Using windows 10, treated as if it were windows 8. Is it because Adobe wants me to buy PE 2023?

Habe PSE 2022 auf Notebook mit WIN 11 installiert. Erste Seite von PSE öffnet sich, bei Klick auf Photoeditor versucht das Programm zu laden und bricht dann nach einiger Zeit ab (Photo Organizer lässt sich normal öffnen).Habe PSE mehrmals neu installiert - kein Änderung.Habe versucht PSE zu löschen - geht nicht -Fehlercode 131. Habe in Adobe Creative Cloud wie vorgeschlagen 4 Einstellungen entfernt - keine Änderung.Wer weiß Rat?

When I installed PSE 2020, the image doesn't fit on my monitor screen, it's much wider. I did CTRL - it doesn't make the imaage smaller.  It's not the usual log in screen I've always had with PSE. 

I bought and downloaded Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 two weeks ago. It worked fine then. Today when I tried to open Photo Editor I've been getting the message "Loading Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace..." for an hour now. I'm on Windows 11.

I have been using Topaz Photo AI as an integral part of my editing workflow and it had been working fine. But, today, I installed the update for the most recent version of Topaz Photo AI on my Windows 10 PC.Now, the PSE Editor won't open.  I've un-installed the TPA update and reinstalled, but that didn't solve the problem.  There is a 1/26/2023 plugin file on this path: C:\ Program Files\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Photo AI.  A path for a 12/29/2022 plugin for Photoshop Elements is: C:\ Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 2021.  I don't see a path to a plugin downloaded with the update today 1/31/2023. Nor do I see an official "PLUGIN" Folder under PSE, but other plugins are in this PSE 2021 folder.  Note: Topaz Photo AI is working as a stand alone, but the big issue is that it is somehow interfering with the EDITOR in Photoshop Elements 2021. I don't even know if the plugin is the issue? I can't open the EDITOR at all any more! Please

Hi there, I am using PS Elements 2019 and trying to use a sports template from Photobacks and when I load the template on elements 2019 on my mac book prom, the page looks all scrambled and duplicated many many times. I am not sure how to fix this or why it is doing this. I have tried to create my own simple page by just using the paint bucket to make a background then creating one new layer of just a simple shape, when I do this it still looks duplicated many times. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! 

Can't sign out of PSE13 to move to a new PC. Get err message "please connect to Internet & retry". Yet I can watch YouTube tutorials in Chrome. The browser doesn't seem to have a problem with the Internet. I was told to try here because 13 is no longer supported.

Hi. I upgraded from PSE 15 to 23 successfully, and have used the editor and organiser. I have just incresed my laptop RAM from 4 to 20GB, all works well except I can't load the organiser. I get the error message: 'Last attempt to open the catalog was unsuccessful. Do you wish to retry with the same catalog or open a different catalog? Options are RETRY or SWITCH CATALOG. Retry leads to a blank screen and NOT RESPONDING message. Switch catalog leads to the catalog manager dialog box. I've tried both OPTIMIZE and REPAIR options. Also I've tried to create a new catalog, import my photos in, but that won't load either. I've totally uninstalled and reinstalled PSE23 twice to no avail. Ca anyone help please? Laptop is Asus X555 running Windows 10. 1TB SSD memory (replacing factory hard drive), and 20GB RAM. Everything else works really speedily. Thanks.  

Ich habe das Problem, dass ich die Fotoshop Version für 2020 habe. Durch einen neuen Rechner, haben wir jetzt allerdings Windows11.  Mir wurde gesagt, dass die Version 2020 nicht für Windows 11 gilt. Kann mir jemand sagen, ob ich mir irgendwie behelfen kann oder muss ich jetzt tatsächlich auf eine aktuelle Version upgraden und somit noch mal zahlen? Danke vorab

Hi 🙂 I sell fabrics and I would like to show my customers how a dress can look like in certain fabrics. So I have bought af dress mockup on Creative Market. The image is of a lady in a grey dress and I am supposed to change the image by "putting" an image of my fabric on as a layer instead of the grey dress. Do you know what I mean? I am a total newbie in Photoshop Elements and I have used the last 2 days just trying everything on the computer and nothing is working. Is it possible to to this with Elements? I can't afford the full version of Photoshop with monthly billings and all, so if Elements doesn't do the trick, then I'm lost. Please, can anybody help.With regardsAnette
