Photoshop Elements

Dear PSE Community, I've just upgraded from PSE 18 to 23 and have spent most of the day importing my images into the new version.  However, I noticed once the import had completed that the zoom view within organizer does not work properly.  The grid view is fine and i can see all my images in each folder, but when i zoom in to max or double click on an image then i see a grey box with a question mark.  Any ideas what's going on here on how i might fix it? Many thanks - Pete

Hello, I have an issue where Photoshop Elements Editor won't open twice. First time you start the programm it launches just as it should do and when you close the programm and try to launch it again it just does't load at all. You can see the Task in Taskmanager briefly and then it goes away.I checked if Regkeys are changing after launching the programm and yes they do but I haven't been able to find a key thats responsible for this. I'm using Photoshop Elements Editor 17.0 in Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops. Win10 1607

I purchased Photoshop Elements 2023. I installed it and it was successful. The organizer works great but when I try to open the photo editor, it first tells me that I need to sign in. When I click that screen, it takes me to a screen to download Elements 2023. I went through the process of downloading Elements 2023 again but it still does not open. I uninstalled and reinstalled the program but that didnt help.   

I plan to sell photos that I manipulated in Photoshop Elements  2023. Does Adobe give me the right to do that when I buy Photoshop Elements for 99 Dollars? Do I have to consider something?

Using "File / Manage Catalogs...", I tried renaming my catalog (which is in custom location), but I get an error saying that it is open in another app and can't be renamed.  The only app I have open is Organizer. What is wrong? The Adobe Elements catalog has always seemed very unweildy to me, but since I just upgraded to 2023, I'm trying to get a better handle on to manage it better.

My PSE9 is opening my images with a black border around them. It's like they're opening in a new window. The border includes the maximize/minimize/full screen option at the top right. I can enlare it by dragging it but then when I get it large enough the tools nor the horizontal scroll bar show which I need. I absolutely HATE it! I'm a digital scrapbook designer so I'm on my PSE9 several hours daily. Can anyone tell me how to get it to open image files the way it used to? Your help is greatly appreciated. This is my job so it's important to me.

Hallo, ich hoffe es kann mir jemand helfen. Ich scrappe digital und erstellen Layouts mit Fotos.  Gibt es eine Möglichkeit in Photoshop Elements die Funktion auszuschalten damit ich nicht nach jedem kleinen Arbeitsschritt bestätigen muss dass dieser auch ausgeführt wird.  z.B. ich ziehe ein Foto groß, muss dies mit abhaken bestätigen. Ich schneide etwas aus, muss dies mit abhaken bestätigen etc. Das kostet soviel Zeit und ist extrem nervig.  Vielen Dank für die Hilfe  

I recently upgraded my laptop from a 2014 Macbook Pro to a 2022 Macbook Air. I made a one-off purchase of Photoshop Elements in 2018, which is still there in my Adobe account and available to download. However, when I try to download it onto my new laptop a message comes up saying ""Install" needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS. Contact the developer for more information."Does anyone know if there is anyway I can download Elements without having to switch to a monthly payment plan?Thanks in advance!

How do I save a custom crop size in PE 16? Ie 16x10........I know how to do it until I change the size, then I have to redo the size everytime. Running Windows 10.

Hello! I use PS Elements 2022 and am having a problem editing for Instagram. My camera is a Canon 5D Mark 3 and I have it set at MRaw & L Jpeg. In PS Elements, I always set my dimensions at 2500px (something my web guy told me to do to ensure that the photos look good on my site). According to Instagram, they automatically resize the photos if they're not the right size, so I have no idea why this is happening. Is there something I can do in PS Elements to fix the problem? I tried resizing, but it distorted the image. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Attached is the photo I tried to upload to Instagram as well as a screenshot of the way Instagram cropped it. Thank you!! 🙂

Hello Gals and Guys -   I have Photoshop Elements 2021.  When I have the crop tool selected and open a files, it does not put cropping guidelines in.  I can just select the area I want and click check, but if I have a different tool selected and then hit crop, it puts the guidelines in, which usually are in the sport I'd least like to have them.  Is it possible to click the crop button and not have the guidelines show up?  Thanks for any help.   [Moderator has replaced link with image]

I recently activated Photoshop Elements 2023 on my desktop and laptop. My laptop had Windows issues so I reinstalled Windows but forgot to sign out of my Photoshop Elements installation. Trying to reinstall, I get an error that I have hit my max of 2 devices. What can I do? I cannot sign out of that previous installation for obvious reasons. Any help is appreciated!

I've got an outdated version of Photoshop Elements (1.0.3) that came with a scanner that I used to use many years ago and still have the serial number. I'm restarting photography and photo editing as a hobby. Can I still purchase the upgrade, rather than the full, version of 2023?I don't want to purchase the upgrade version and then be told I can't use it 😏

Have not been able to use my Photoshop 14 for a few years because it says it is installed already on another computer.The computer installed on was sent to HP for repairs. Could not repair it so it was replaced.There is no way to UNINSTALL it but is keeping me from using the installed program on this computer.I have tried to get this resolved several times thru Adobe, but NO LUCK!

How do I create a linear gradient with three hex colour points in Photoshop Elements - one at either end and one in the middle? Also I looked in the user guide and and clicked on Gradients but there wasn't any info displayed. Why is that? Thanks

Hi All,I am making a 1st birthday card for my niece and want to superimpose her in a new background, holding a "1 yar Happy Birthday Card", superimposed over a card she was originally photographed with (copy of photo (as it currently is edited) is pasted below, and is also attached to this post, for your reference). [Post continued after pasted photo ... ]  I managed to erase the old background, and pasted the new card for her to hold in the picture, then used  "control" + "left mouse click" to manipulate and "bend" the new card to cover the old card in her hand. My problem is I am "stuck" with how to manipulate the new card any further in order to "bend" the right corner of the new card backwards in order to finish covering the old card completely. When I click on the middle box on the right side of the new card, and use "control" + "left mouse click", it will not allow me to "bend" the card backwards. What should I do to finish covering the old card she is holding with the

Every time I open a photo in Elements I need to wait several seconds (10- 15 seconds - sometimes more) before the program will let me start working on the photo.This also happens when I am editing the photo. Something is delaying the program in the back ground but I do not know what it is. Can eny one help me. I am using Eliments 2020.thank you.

Where can I find a folder that Time Machine restored to Photoshop Elements?  It had disappeared for no apparent reason from my desktop, but I found it in yesterday's Time Machine and discovered that I could only restore it to a very limited number of places, so I chose Photoshop Elements...... (It's not in Trash, by the way) 

I just can't get the quick selection tool to work correctly in a layer, it only works in the Background or Background copy.This is what happens: I first create a new layer. in this layer, I want to select the sky. I start dragging the Quick Selection tool from the top corner of the image, but it won't "snap" to the contour of the buildings on the horizon, instead it just goes over them and eventually selects the whole image. When I release the mouse button the selection disappears. Is only possible to use the tool in a background copy?

When I open Photoishop Elements there is a menu one of these buttons is Video Editor.When I click that button it requests me to download latest version of Premiere.Yet I have Premiere Elements on my PC. How can I access it from with Photoshop elements y clicking pon Video editor button. I have asked Adabe that question and I have run away screaming.That is whgy I am here to ask you. Thank you.
