Photoshop Elements

Hallo,ich weiß nicht, ob ich hier richtig bin. Ich versuche es einfach mal.Wenn ich mit PSE 2023 Standortdaten in Bilder integriere werden diese mit anderen Programmen nicht angezeigt (z.B. Geosetter).Umgekehrt werden GPS Daten, die ich mit Geosetter einbinde in PSE nicht auf der Karte gezeigt. Die Bilder stehen immer noch als "nicht fixiert" da, obwohl in den Metadaten GPS Koordinaten hinterlegt sind.Hat jemand dafür eine Lösung, da ich die Bilder auch mit anderen Programmen ausser PSE auf Karten anzeigen lassen möchte. Vielen DankJörg

 Happy 20th Birthday Adobe Photoshop Elements!  Adobe Photoshop Elements was officially released 20 years ago today, on April 2, 2001. Previously announced back in February of that year, Photoshop Elements took over from Photoshop LE and PhotoDeluxe as the go-to app for those people who didn't really need, or couldn't afford, the more fully-featured Photoshop. There's obviously been some big changes between the original and current Photoshop Elements releases, the biggest one being there was originally no Organizer! That was rectified a couple of versions later when Photoshop Album was fully integrated into the Elements family (along with Premiere Elements). The maximum number of elements for a slideshow is limited to 250 elements in Elements 2019.Does anyone know, if this limit has been increased in PSE 2020 or 2021? 

Warum kann ich keine Bilder von Canon R7 in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 aufmachen? Ich habe auch keine Updates für Adobe 2020 bekommen, oder Informationen, daß es Updates gibt, habe ich auch nicht erhalten. Kann ich noch Updates haben?

Hallo,ich möcht ein von mir bearbeitetes Bild per "Strg+C" nach Word kopieren. Das funktioniert auch, aber es wird automatisch in Word ein Link erstellt, so dass ich durch einen Doppelklick auf das Bild in Word automatisch Photoshop öffne. Das möchte ich aber in Word nicht haben. Wie kann man diesen Link verhindern.Eine Möglichkeit das zu verhindern ist natürlich, wenn ich mein bearbeitetes Bild extern speichere und das gespeichtere Bild nach Word kopiere. Das ist mir zu umständlich.In der Software Mindmanager kann man die Einstellungen so ändern, dass eine automatisches Öffnen nicht stattfindet. Geht dies auch in Photoshop Elements 2023?LG Peter

Dear All,I have bought a new PC and want to install PSE 15 on a new computer. I have deinstalled the old version and tried to install it on the new PC. But I get the error message that the software is not a orginal Adobe software.  I could log into my Adobe Account and download there the install files. The serial number was accepted during the installation processs, the error message appears later. Any idea what I could do? Stefan 

Hello,I am using PSE 2023 and can't find the photos in my photo bin when I save a file as a PSD. I can get them to appear if I open them as seperate layers but how can I get them to remain in the photo bin every time I close and reopen the file? thank you

Hi,I have PSE15 installed on an HP laptop running Windows 10.  It is an old slow machine.  I bought an Apple MacBook Pro about a year ago and have been migrating everything over to it.  Last week I purchased PSE2023 for Mac from the Apple App Store and have been getting used to it.  I am now ready to move my catalog from the Windows 10 laptop to the Mac.  I have been searching and reading the Adobe website and this forum, I have found a lot of good info and I think I am ready to go, but before I do I would appreciate it if someone would look over these steps and let me know if I am missing anything. Open my PSE15 catalogRun “Save Metadata to files”Run “Reconnect All Missing Files”Run “Backup Catalog” and save the backup to my attached external hard driveConnect external HD to my MacCreate a new folder on the Mac with the same name as my existing PSE15 catalogCopy the backup file into that folder on the MacOpen PSE2023Run File>”Restore Catalog” from the

  This message appears when trying to open all online files (eg Dropbox jpeg files) on newly installed Photoshop Elements 2023.   "Could not complete your request because a JPEG marker segment length is too short (the file may be truncated or incomplete) "   I can however open files local files (eg Download and photos folders on Macbook Air M2). If you copy and paste online JPEG's into a local directory you can then open them but a right hassle if you cannot open them directly with Photoshop Elements.    Title changed by Moderator

Hi All,I have downloaded a Luts Pack and I am having difficulty installing this plugin into my Photoshop Elements 2017. The files are .cube format and it seems that PE is not recognizing this kind of format.I did open Preferences - Plugins - Additional Plugin Folder - Choose, but when the files show up they are grayed out so that they can't be chosen. I have managed to install other plugins before such as the Nic Collection but that wasn't in .cube format. Does anyone know if I should be able to install files with .cube format? If this is possible could anyone please guide me as to how to instal these files? Thank you.

Depuis que j'ai acheté ce logiciel j'ai un problème bloquant quand j'ouvre l'organisateur. Au bout de quelques secondes, un message s'affiche provenant de Microsoft Visual C++  Runtime Library. Si je fais "ignorer" ou "recommencer" ou "abandonner" l'organisateur se ferme brusquement.Utilisation sous Windows 10 - 64 bitsVoir la capture d'écran ci-jointe.Je suis utilisateur depuis de nombreuses années de ce type de logiciel et je n'ai jamais rencontré un tel problème. Every so often, I back up my Organizer, now with 144,000 items, and move to a second laptop where I 'Restore' so I have full back up of everythings and tags and albums.  this time on 'Restore' it keeps informing me that it is doing it through OneDrive, although I requested it do it through my external hard drive setting, and transfer to the second laptop.  It appears to be taking forever.  It normally will all take a couple of days but this seems slower.Is it best to let it run through this time, and in futre switch off OneDrive however I do that?  Whatever it does, I have no idea and do not know if I need it.  Thank you. 

Is it possible to download data from Photoshop Elements Organizer?  Specifically, want to download file name, file date & file location.

I did a search for duplicates with PSE2020 on a windows 10 laptop. Several hundreds of duplicates showed up on a grid showing a percentage for each. How do I now delete the duplictes and leave the original in the catalog?

I recently upgraded to an HD monitor with my new system. I used to have an LED monitor. I am now finding when saving files in 300ppi, the files are extremely large and take up too much space. I like to print my images at 300ppi. Is there a way to change that? I just upgraded from Elements 9 to Elements 2022 last year so I am on a huge learning curve. Thanks for any help.

Hi all! I fully back-upped a Windows11-PSE23-catalog to an external NTFS formatted stick including foto-files.No I try to restore the stick on MacOS-M1 and get the error message, that the stick contains no valid backup. Could it be the problem, that the NTFS-formatted stick is not writeable on MacOS, although the stick is the data source?Unfortunately all these processes last hours up to days because of the bulk of data (500GB). Is it possible to copy the catalog  itself without foto-files using the backup and restore mechanism of PSE23 andcopy the foto-files using normal OS-typic operations like copying them with the Windows-explorer ? Regards,AAA

Hello all,I repeatedly tried to fully backup my catalog to an external drive (f:) under windows 11 - without success.The error message means something like: "error writing to c:\users\...\...\catalogname\CAXMPFiles\2302382.xmp" Info about Free disk sizes:The catalogs size on c: is about 12 GB, the foto folder and subfolders are about 500GB.The free space on my drve C: is about 15GB, the free space on my drive d: with the foto folders is about 60GB.The stick is empty besides the files (about 10GB) of the interrupted backup trials, free disk space is 950GB. I did before backing up  the following:Repair the catalogOptimize the catalogand then I started the backup prceessthe only warning ocured was that the program could not match some files with the catalogIs there any suggestion what the cause of the error is?Regards thank-you and happy new yearAAAI

Hab digitalisierte Uralt-Dias mit PSE 2020 aufbereitet, verschlagwortet und bei dieser Gelegenheit mit 'Standort hinzufügen' im Organizer an die richtigen Stellen auf der Karte gezogen. Ortsangaben, Beschreibung, Datum etc. sind alle richtig in den IPTC Daten gelandet und im exiftool sichtbar.Was ich ums Verrecken nirgends finde, sind die Koordinaten der zugewiesenen Orte. Weiß jemand, wo und in welchem Format der Organizer die ablegt?Das wäre übrigens mein Vorschlag für eine neue Funktion: Wenn noch keine GPS Koordinaten vorliegen, trägt der Organizer auf Wunsch die Koordinaten des zugewiesenen Orts als XMP Parameter ein.
