Photoshop Elements

I have been using old version of adobe photoshop (I think it's Photoshop CC).I purchased PSE 2023 (Photoshop Elements 2023) with good promotion price. I am using Nikon D610 take photos with raw (NEF) files. And I am having simple batch works (WB, curve, noise reduction, a little bit sharpening) and save as JPEG. But with the PSE 2023 and ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) plugin. I cannot save as photos to jpeg. But it only shows dng file format.I can open it to photo editor (PSE2023). And save as JPEG one by one. But it's too much work to do lots of (200 or 300 photos) images. Could you please comment on this issue?  

Is it possible to search by  keyword  and items not in any album in the metadata details ?it would be very useful in speeding up album creationI do see "search for items not in albums" Thanks

My understanding is that Photoshop Elements can be installed on up to two computers. Is the license restriction based upon two physical computers or the number of users on each computer? I have two PCs each with a user account for me and another one for my wife.

I am trying to imbed the XMP files into the raw files and can't get it to work with Elements 2023.I have tried using the prefs in the Camera Raw dialog box. I've tried every combination and the XMP file still shows up.I have been able to hide the sidecar file in Elements 2020, but I'm not having luck with this new version.

I cannot get PSE 23 to install!! I get a generic error message that opens to suggest a crash in the install process.I have turned off every firewall, pop up blocker and safety feature on my macbook and the software will still not install.  I have uninstalled all prior versions.  I have tried on two different private wi-fi connections.  I have macOS Big Sur (11.6.1).  It should be compatible according to website.  Anyone experiencing similar issues? 

Bought a new imac and when I tried to restore my organizer catalog it refuses to provide the correct file structure.  It does restore all sub-files but not the main folder.  I do PS and have over 30,000 image files.  It takes an extraordinary amount of time to find what I'm looking for in that it didn't restore my tags either!  I have tried every which way but loose using different things which may correct the problem to no avail!  I'm attaching a screen shot of half of what it looks like!

I have photoshop elements 2022. The following problem occurs. I have two 4K screens connected to my computer, when I start elements I get an error message about the video driver. If I turn off one monitor for a while, the problem does not occur

Hi,I have read that "Photoshop Actions" can be used with the newer versions of the Photoshop Elements programs. Is this true, and if so, can the newer versions of Photoshop Elements program work with any "Photoshop Action" file?  If someone would please let me know about this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much,-Cfguy

Elements 20221 back up catalog to Removable hard driveNew computer, new elements 2023. Restore the catalog - no errors.All the images are there - but NONE of the tags are there. THe tags are critical to meet my deadline and I am not in the same city as the original computer so I cannot "go back" Anyone know how to get my tags back?Feeling desparate. ( I have scoured the forum and google and have not found an answer) 

Need to increase the size of the fonts and icons in Photoshop Elements 2022. 

I had 11K photos in 277 folders, 16.8GB, in my Photoshop Elements 2020. Somehow when I was trying unsuccessfully to set up albums of my files, I apparently somehow deleted all the photos! I get the message "No Media Available"!. Is there any way to recover these, or do I need to re-import all my PC files and start over with editing them? I do not have Photoshop cloud backup -- only learned about that this afternoon -- and I had never tried to copy Photoshop images to another location. Stupid!! I do have the original files on my computer, but not a Photoshop version.

We just loaded and ran Adobe Photoshop 2023 Elements Organizer Presentations. Windows 11 and 10. When we attempt to Preview the presentation the screen is black. If we pause the preview we will see the picture that is at that point in the presentation. When we resume the presentation the screen is black again.  There is no GPU to disable on the machine and the video drivers are up to date. We can export the video and it is lovely but since we cannot preview we have no idea what to edit. Thanks

Hi everyone, first of all sorry for my bad English.I bought Photoshop elements 2023 today, I'm fine with it. The only thing that annoys is that the photo editor can only be accessed via the start screen (organizer). Is there a way to access Photoshop Editor directly?Thank you for all the answers.

Am trying to add a text blurb to the back cover of a book jacket I created in PSEL 21, but am having trouble getting it done.When I copy the text and paste it the text extends horizontally way off the book jacketThe size of the back cover is 6x9.  How can I get the pasted text to fit within the 6x9 space and be aligned in a justified view?What is the proper way to accomplish my goal and complete this project

How to insert a cloud from one picture into another picture?

A few months ago, I upgraded to photoshop elements 2022 in part because I wanted to, as I had previously been able to, drag a photo to the taskbar along the bottom of my computer screen and drop the photo on the elements icon and the program would automatically open up for editing purposes.  That quit working, apparently post windows 11.  I assumed this functionality would eventually be restored but it's still not working in 2022.  Does it work in 2023?  I'm not inclined to upgrade unless Adobe fixes this--the improvements aren't otherwise beneficial enough for my somewhat limited editing purposes (and skills).  Thanks.

Where is the bacup wizard.  Followed user guide and online help but no wizard.  Trying to set up manual backup to my external drive.

Anyone know how long it takes for the program to start generating auto creations?  I've had my photos imported for about 5 days and still nothing.  I'm assuming its working in the background and is taking a while since I have over 200K photos, but wanted to see if anyone else has had any auto creations generated yet.Thanks

I have PSE 21.  It doesn't seem to support raw files from Canon R7 - I'm not really keen on using workarounds or dng converters.   I have the updated version of Camera Raw.  

Very old hard drive is failing and have purchased new tower. Want to move PSE and tens of thousand of photos. I see some posts on transferring Catalogs or photos, but want to make certain I'm not missing a step.So:(1) Have downloaded PSE on new computer and activated(2) Have run "Repair" and "Reconnect Photos" on existing Catalog and everything looks good(3) Plan to back up Catalog to external drive and use PSE on new computer to Restore Catalog(4) Have online backup of pictures just in case I screw things up(5) Once everything in PSE looks okay on new computer, then what? Will this have transferred both the Catalog as well as original, full-sized photos to new computer, or does something else need to be done? How then would I delete all photos on old computer that were just transferred to new computer, so it can be disposed of? Thanks for any guidance. I'm understandably nervous since some of these photos are quite old and not replaceable! 

I installed Elements 2020 onto my new Mac. When I added a note to any photo, the photo went to the bin although it did not disappear from my catalogue. I upgraded to Elements 2022 and still have the same problem. Any ideas ?

I have a photo with two people; only one is recognized with the circle.  The face is lined up straight. There doesn't seem to be any difference except the beard. PSE 2023 on Windows 10.  Any suggestions?
