Photoshop Elements

I have been running Elements 14 on my Windows 7 laptop. The Catalogue is contained on an external hard drive rather than the computer and I back it up onto a second hard drive.I have just loaded Elements 20 onto my newWindow 10 laptop and wish to access the catalogue.Can I just access the catalogue from the first external hard drive or must I do a restore from the second hard drive.I tried opening Catalogue manager and selected Custom Lication and pointed it to the folder on my external drive that contains the catalogue but the open button remains greyed out.I don't want the photo files on my new c drive .can anyone help and tell me what I need to do?Thanks

Hello allIM sure this has been mentioned several timesBUT! Hard disk crash - lost all date. Bought new machine and have installed Elemenst 12 again, but cant activate it on new laptop and cant deactivate it for obvious reasons. Neather can I log onto the LWS to resolve as the 'help+support' page just sends me round in circles.How can i deactivate my product so i can re install in on my new laptop if i have neither the original laptop - or email address i had in 2012 - or access to LWS to resolve this issue. LWS says im not an authorised user etcRegardsRH

 Is there any chance to update Photoshop Elements 2019? How can I do that? It is necessary to use the latest Version of Camera Raw. Thanks a lost!

Re Downloaded Photoshop Elements 15 from Adobe site (not Mac Applications) and it says "Install" needs to be updated. The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of macOS (Big Sur 11.5.1). Contact the developer for more information. It was working fine a week ago. So presume even though I have pad for Elements 15 back in 2017 Adobe are forcing me to upgrade to continue using?

Hi everyone. First time posting. I waited for the new MacPro to be relesaed with the Monterey OS and the M1 chip. Yay its here! But. I want to install PSE, however, there appears to be a multitude of problems with the running of this programme, far too many for my liking to invest $A3000 in a laptop. Has anyone installed PSE without significant issues?Thanks in advance. 

Relatively new to PSE and using PSE 19 I am creating a slideshow using existing images. When I play the slideshow some of the images are cropped and the only way I can think to display the complete image is 'grow' a white border around the image. Can anyone describe a workflow to do this? Thanks

i have new hard drive and lost elements 11 during the process. . I have s/no and original password .How do I instal again

I am running a trial PSE 2023 as I presently use PSE9 and havenet had much success removing the backgrounds behind pet pics due to their hair. There are several utubes about it but they all talk too fast. Is there a step by step? The select subject tool is a great start but thats it. 

On a new computer running Windows 11 I installed Elements 2023, converted the Catalogue.  I have some folders with no files showing in Organizer though they are in the explorer folder. I've tried Import Media but all I get is a list "8 Media files were skipped because they are already present in the catalog."  Thanks for any help.

Does anyone know how well the new Photoshop Elements 2023 is working with Lightroom Classic.  I use both Elements and Lightroom Classic together now and things work pretty well.  Is that the case with the new version of Elements?

I've  tried for ages.  I can edit great photos, but then can't  workout how to share them on social media....or out them into my photo gallery. Any ideas? I'm  not particularly  tech savvy.

Last year I tried updating/upgrading Elements and ran into a glitch. My usual workflow is to download into elements organizer, edit the image in Lightroom for exposure etc, then do final edits if needed in elements photoshop expert, save and title the image. So every image I consider "done" has been saved and titled. However the newer version of elements used a different version of Camera Raw then Lightrooms camera raw and when I went to do those final edits the image would not open in the Elements Editor. There were other people having this issue to and I spoke with Adobe but the work around didn't really fix my issue. so, now another year has passed and I wonder if both LR camera Raw and Elements 2023 are on the same page....?

I recently Upgraded to Elements 2022 fron Elements 2016 , When i try to save a file the JPEG option doesn't appear under File type  It's not greyed out  It's just not there  All the others  ie.  PNG TIF PDS etc do showup  I'm  using Windows 10  Thanks

Windows laptop running Windows 10 64 bit Version 21H1, Screen res 2496 x 1644 Elements 22, Ver 20.0  . . . . .The home screen font is really tiny.  Nothing I have tried so far in windows, or the App have fixed the problem.  App runs fine but I need a magnifying glass to read the font.  (Eyesight Rx is up to date in case you are wondering)Thanks\Skip Kerwin

I have lots of scanned picturs in Photoshop Elements where the date is set to the moment they were scanned. By means of "Adjust date and time" in Elements I have changed the date to when the picture was originally taken.Is there a way of updating the exif data in the original files with the edited ones to get a chronologic view in other picture programs?

I have been using Photoshop Elements 14 for over a year now. I have noticed, along with the pictures I have been saving/editing in this program, there are files created on my hard drive with the extension of .json. I have well over 2,000 records with this extension now which is adding up as memory/storage:1.What are these files?2. Is it necessary to keep them?

I've cancelled my Creative Cloud subscription and purchased a standalone copy of Photoshop Elements, as I am not interested in monthly subscriptions!!! I only need the standalone program Photoshop Elements.BUT, when I purchased the new standalone program I used my SECONDARY email address by mistake.This means I cannot see the program in my Adobe ID account! If I try to add it, I a am told that the serial number is already in use!How can I transer the ownership of this software from the secondary account and add it to my Adobe ID account???

Dear all, Has ever someone managed to download a testversion of PSE 2023 ??? I can imagine that ADOBE is more interested to sell more expensive programs, but why they are offering a testversion of PSE 2023 ??? I tried it several times on different platforms, but no success. First of all it is not easy to find the correct page because the cloud is more in the focus. Since 2019 I am using other excellent programs for my fotos, easy to download, easy to use and unlimited.I gave Adobe another chance with PSE 2023 but it seems Adobe is not interested in a single license PSE 2023.

HI All,I trust you'll help me again!!My dad uses elements editor to crop pictures to a 9x9cm size and then places 4 of them onto a template I set up for him, so that he can print one A4 piece of paper with 4 pictures on.He then prints on the rear.These pictures go into coaster holders.The problem we have is, when we go to print, it shows all the open pictures on the left hand side and Dad often forgets to check this, and remove the unwated pictures, and ends up printing the 4 pictures he wants on one piece of paper and the 4 pictures on other pieces of paper.I've gone through the settings and can't find a way of telling it just to print the active picture.Can this be done?He uses a Mac. I've added a picture (from the help files I've been reading) of the stage we are at when we see all the pictures and I know we can select a picture and click remove, it's just that dad doesn't remmeber to do this.
