Photoshop Elements

Hello,I have just bought Elements 2022 from Amazon as an electronic download.  I have redeemed the licence numebr and follwed the link to download the installer.  When I try and run it though I get the message that the installer is damaged.  I have tried re-downloading the file several times.  I have used both the link from the licence redemption and directly from the Adobe webiste where you get the 30 day trial version and I get the same result whatever approach I take. Here is a screen shot of the error.I tried chatting with an agent, but they could not help and told me to post here.Robin 

Hi All, I am new to Adobe Photoshop. I need to reduce the image size of a picture, then upload the new file to an online print shop for them to print. I have gone into 'Image' and 'Resize', then under document size I appear to successfully reduce the image size (without using  resampling so I do not sacrifice resolution). When resizing, I was careful to only change one of the dimensions (i.e., width) while letting the other field (i.e, length) update automatically. The issue is that after saving the revised image to my computer, I then upload it to the online photo shop. But no matter what size print (i.e., 9 x 16) I choose on their website, my resized image appears to be exactly the same size (32 x 57) as my original file. This is TOO LARGE. I have spent days on this. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to reduce an image and have it keep the reduced size when being submitted to a photo shop for the purpose of printing??? Note, I have avoided cropping

I have photoshop element 2020.  I am the adminstrator and have had no problems till now.  In the orgainizer I am trying to move my folders and it says i dont have permission to do this task.  I have done this for the last 2 years with no problem till today.  Can you explain to me what is wrong  Thank you

Hello, long time Elements user, just started using Elements 2022 on HP envy 360 laptop.  The crop function is not working...I've tried everything I can think of.  It it bouncing around, or won't let me just drag from a corner and "pull" the crop to size the image as I want.  When using one of the 4 auto choices--it won't let me move it around with the center dot and 95% of the time I don't like the auto crop location.  I've tried in quick and expert.  It may work once but then goes right back to being impossible to control!  Please help!  I have 7,000 safari photos to work with and I can't get anywhere!! I have a problem with the "refining edges" part. After choosing the overlay in view mode, checking the smart radius and filling in the pixels for the radius, the overlay disappears when returning to the edit screen. This prevents me from refining the edges. Where can I fix this. See examples. Regards, Richard

I have a photo I would like to enter in a contest. The requirements are no larger than 16MB 3300 x 2550 pixels (11 in. X 8.5 in. at 300 dpi) I have satisfied all the requirements re: 300 dpi and 3300 x 2550. However, when I look at the photo in PS9, it states it is 24M. I assume that means MB. When I right click on it or look at it in Picasa, it says 4.5 MB. Which is it? Thank you.

PS Elements 15 funktioniert auf meinem neuen PC nicht. Hab es de- und wiederinstalliert. Kann das Programm aufrufen, aber dann geht nichts mehr - muss das Programm über Task Manager beenden.

Hi folksLast Sunday, everything worked perfectly. Today, I wanted to process my pictures (Canon, CR2), which worked well as usual (with the 2021 version). As soon as I open the picture in the Editor, everything freezes, nothing works, and I have to use the Task-Manager to end the program. I deinstalled the 2021 version, installed it again > same problem. I bought the 2022 version, installed it > same problem. I manually installed the newest Camera Raw version > still the same problem.Did anybody experience this as well? This is really annoying. My laptop runs on Windows 10 Home with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti.Your help is much appreciated!Best wishes,Kurt

I'm running Monterey ver 12.5 on my Mac PCI have PE 2020 installedI'm attempting to backup and restore the catalog on an external driveDespite several attempts at backing up and restore it fails.The Backup folder does not contain the all important ‘backup.tly’ file.What’s the solution? 

I recently installed (3 weeks ago) PS Elements 2021 to my new computer.  I was familiar with an older version previously. Over time certain sections of the program have stopped working or cause a freeze/crash.  It seems to be getting worse over time (cannot straighten a photo without a crash, skin smooth in perfect portrait no longer functions) and the program is getting slower and glitching with just 2 or 3 photos open. Should I uninstall/reinstall?  Or is this a common thing?

Hi, I have Photoshop Elements 12 installed on my Windows 10 PC. I noticed that recently my graphics panel bin is empty. The other panels (Layers, Effects, Favorites, and More) appear correctly. I uninstalled the program, and reinstalled it and it didn't help. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

When I try to import gradients that I saved or downloaded, the preset options just duplicate instead of the gradient importing. I restarted my computer and tried reinstalling Photoshop twice, but the issue is still happening. I'm using Photoshop Elements 14 on Windows 10. Any help with this issue would be appreciated. I purchased the Elements bundle in 2020. I need to move it to a Windows 11 machine. Now I get an error message."Update requiredYour browser or operating system is no longer supported. You may need to install the latest updates to your operating system."I have the latest Chrome and Edge versions. I do not use or have IE on the machine.  How do I install Photoshop and Premier Elements?

I have just purchased Photoshop Elements upgrade 2022. for £ 70.91I’ve clicked on the photo editor, but all it does is take me to the free trail. any ides? 

I am trying to print an image 1000x700 mm but I just cant do the settings right in print studio pro. What is the secret to the settings? I have a 42" rollpaper and a Canon ipf 4000. I am getting crazy here not being able to do it right. The print gets a few mm to small.  

Can anyone tell me if Photoshop elements 2021 will work with the new MacOs Monterey 12.5 or is there still issues.  I don't want to do the upgrade right now if PE is going to crash.   I made the mistake and upgraded to Big Sur when it came out and had to go out and buy a newer version of PE cause PE would no longer work. Thank you

New Macbook Pro running Monterey. Programs copied over but can't open-says not licensed, and to sign in. Signing into Adobe account doesn't help. Do I need to uninstall PSE Version 20 and reinstall? (Organizer is not lcurretly icensed; log into Elements to update the licensing information.) How do I get this to work? Thanks! 

I use OS Catalina last version, and Elements Organizer 2020.Elements Auto Creations 2020 use to much resources, so I have deselected Generate Auto Creations.  Still Auto Creations is running, and not responding – even if I restart.  What’s wrong?

My computer just updated to Monterey and it won't open.  I saw the previous post saying the same thing and went to the link, which didn't take me to a fix.  Is this going to be a problem if I purchase?  Would like to continue my trial!

I have just upgraded to PSE 2022 and restored my backup from PSE 10 however while the photos have arrived I can't see any tags that have arrived, also there was a list of files that couldn't be restored so I'm not yet sure what these are. Can anyone help me with this? 

New user: I cannot see how to export an edited photo so I can e-mail it. "export" is greyed; Share is only to Social Media I do not use. It must surely be simple?

PSE 20, using Windows 10, can't print to my Epson 15000 printer. 

Purchased a Nikon Z72 camera and shoot RAW format (.NEF) images. When downloading these images in Elements 2022 Organizer's downloader, I see only generic thumbnail space holders for my images when using XQD cards or CFExpress cards, but not when using SD cards. I am not recording in the largest image size option, but in the middle sized option. How is this fixed?
