Photoshop Elements

problem installing 2023 upgrade, window too small. When the window comes up with the select installation location, the window is too small and can't be made larger by normal means. The pulldown for the location and the button to continue are outside the window. Can't go any further.

Mac OS Monterey 12.6, using Elements Editor 2022. I had installed a plugin that seemes to have been incompatible with the editor. I get the "There is a problem with Generator. Please quit Photoshop and try again. If the problem persists, remove any third-party plug-ins or try reinstalling Photoshop" error message when I open the editor.I have:Uninstalled ALL pluginsUninstalled my older versions of Elements (just in case)Restarted my MacReinstalled ElementsAs per the windows solution for photoshop, I checked my Privacy settings.Searched Google and this fourm without finding a suitable remedy.I'm stumped, no idea how to get rid of this error.

I just installed Photoshop Elements 2019.  In the Organizer, I went to Edit | Preferences | Media-Analysis and I un-checked everything on the tab, including:Generate Auto CreationsAutomatically Analyze Media: Images and VideosHowever, the file 'Elements Auto Creations 2019.exe' runs in the background, even when PSE is closed.  This causes my computer fan to run loudly all the time, because of the cpu cycles the file is using.  How can I prevent 'Elements Auto Creations 2019.exe' from running in the background?

I installed Photoshop Elements 12 today and registered online.  I tried to use Photo Editor and get a dialog box "cannot use this product under a guest account". I went to the Organizer side of the program and tied to log in under Help, but that didn't work.  Please tell me how to correct this issue.

Hello,I'm having a NAS Server with a 4TB hard drive that is connected to my Fritz Router. When I save tiff files with PS Elements15 on my server I cannot open the file with any program even though the file size indicates that the file was saved correctly. When I try to open the same file that I just saved with PS, the system tells me that the file cannot be interpreted. Interestingly, when I add a USB stick on my router and save the file there, everything works as normal. I can also safe tiff files on my hard drive with PS and they open normally. I'm using Windows 10 and when I use a different program to create a tiff file (PowerPoint for examble) I can safe and open the file on my server as normal.This is a rather tricky problem and I don't know where to start. Any advice would be welcome.

Hello. A translucent rectangular box keeps showing up in my images (see attached, bottom of the screen). Does anyone know why this is here and how I can get rid of it? Thank you!!

I purchased and registered Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 (16.0) some time ago but only recently started using it.  I'm also getting much more into photography and have shifted from JPGs to RAW.  This version of Elements has Photoshop Camera RAW version 10.3.0.933.  I need at least version 12 to support my Sony a6100 RAW shots.  I've tried several Adobe sites and files but cannot get Elements to update its current RAW 10.3.0.933 plug in.  Not sure what I'm doing wrong, all of these update files seem pretty straightforward and self installing.  They seem to do their thing but then it doesn't work.  Specifically, when I try to open a RAW file in Photoshop, I get a warning that it doesn't recognize it and if I'm trying to open a RAW file I need to update.  But the update function says that my application is up to date, no surprise, Adobe doesn't offer active support for 2018 anymore.  That's fine, I found another page with just the RAW plug in u

My Adobe Elements 2020 is on Win10.  I have almost 9000 photos in my library and think I would like to divide the photos into 2 libraries on the same machine. All the photos are in a directory structure organized by date.  Each photo is tagged, some with multiple tags: people, places, events. I don't want to lose the tags and the info I have associated to each photo. I need to understand the pros and cons of manageing multiple libraries and the process to move photos from one library into another on the same computer. I searched online but did not find what I needed. Hope you can help.

I have PSE 2021 installed on a M1 Mac. The PSE itself runs fine, but the Elements Organizer does not. It is super laggy, even with just a few entries in the catalog. It also frequently crashes. I know it is technically not supported, but neither is PSE 2022 really, so I don't want to upgrade until/if PSE is available in native M1. Any ideas?

I have recently installed Photoshop Elements 2020 on a second PC and the photo organiser works fine, but when I try to load the photo editor it says "Loading..." for about a minute and then the message goes and it never opens. I've read some of the other posts about this issue, but the suggests about closing it in task manager and restarting etc. don't resolve this. Could anyone help please?

Photoshop ELEMENTS 2022 konnte ich auf macOS 12.5 M1 MacbookPro installieren. Wenn ich es öffnen möchte, kommt die Meldung "Adobe Photoshop kann auf diesem Computer nicht ausgeführt werden, weil Mindestens MacOS9 Version 9.1 oder Mac OSX Version 10.1. erforderlich ist - ich habe OS 12.5.... Bei der  "Intel-Datei" im Finder/Information gibt es die Option " mit Rosetta2 öffnen nicht. Kann mir wer bitte wieter helfen?{Title edited by Moderator}

I recently found a bunch of very old black and white negatives, and I would like to convert them to pictures. Is this possible with Photoshop Elements? 

My cursor is just a cross suddenly, the clone is a cross so cannot see what to clone, same with all tools anyone know why please?

I have a new computer with Windows 11.  I purchased and installed Elements 2022 via a CD. Now I am ready to edit a photo but am being asked to sign in using the S/N provided (or sign up for a free trial???????)   Don't understand why I need to sign in but in any event, where would I find the S/N? Thx for any help.

I only see the main folder images in organiser. The sub folders are there, I can specify an image if I know the file name. I run Elements 11 in Windows 10.

Bislang habe ich PSE 14 dann 19 genutzt. Jetzt nutze ich PSE 22.Für Bilder in neuen Ordnern hab ich immer "Name" genutzt, jetzt wird nach jedem Neustart immer "Albumreiherfolge" vorgegeben. Weiß jemand wie ich als Einstellung "Name" machen kann?Viele GüßeJupp
