Photoshop Elements

I just purchased Photoshop Elements 2022 from the App Store on my Mac desktop.  I want to also download it on my laptop for when I travel.  I am a tech nerd!  Can someone give me a step-by-step way to do this?  I Googled it but only learned that I must close out the original on my desktop before I can download it on my laptop.  But when I go to my laptop, then what?  How do I access it for downloading on my laptop?  

When I use the Out of the Border effect, I have first to place a frame in such a way that there will be a part of the image which will be shown outside the frame.Suppose the subject on the image is an animal with 4 legs. I like to place two legs outside the frame.After I have positioned the frame then  the Quick Selection Pencil is active.However using this Quick Selection Tool it will also select unwanted areas of the image (very low contrast in the image).I like to use the Normal Selection Tool.If the selection of one leg is finished then the Out of the Border Effect becomes active.However I wanted to make a selection for the second leg.How do I select the Selection Tool for the second time and how can I use the Normal Selection Tool if the Quick Selection Tool is unusable as described above?

Mac running Catalina. I'm attempting to convert elements 10 catalog to 2022. Full backup on removable hardrive. Whem I point to catalog in Catalog Manager it will not open.   [Mod: Moved to the Photoshop Elements forum]

Using it a year w/o major issues but now launch gets block and "please uninstall & reinstall the program". Says error 16. But W10 aborts uninstall with error "cannot find the file C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Desktop Common\HDBox\Uninstall.exe". I did not specify that loc, it's where W10 looks. But in explorer I can see no uninstall in that folder. Should I look somewhere else, or . . . ?

I recently had to reinstall elements 10 and now it is dificult to open and when it does not all functions seem to work, i.e. resizing photos does not work.  Any help would be appreciated.  

I am trying gto work on a double page 12x12 at the same time on Photoshop Elements 22.Help please. I don't even know if it is possible.

I had to buy a new computer and need to transfer over the atn action files from my old computer.  I no longer have the original atn files so was hoping I could copy the files/folder from my old computer and copy the files/folders onto the new computer.  Can anyone send me the path to locate the files?  Thank you.

I'm running the latest Catalina and the new PSE 2020.When I open the Organizer, it will crash once it does the splash screen (when it goes to load the catalog).   I've created "New" catalogs multiple times, and then it crashes after creating the new one. If I boot in "safe mode", the program works fine. Anyone else having this issue?  Since it works in Safe Mode, I'm assuming that some other software I'm running (which is not a lot) is causing it to crash. 

Hi, I have just started working with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 and use to work with Adobe Photoshop CC. My question is I have just edited a RAW file with ceratin adjustments then imported into the Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor and made some guided adjusmtents. Now I am ready to edit my next RAW file and would like to copy the settings and adjustments I made to save time? Could someone please help, in Photoshop CC  I use to copy and paste attributes but I cant find anything like that in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022. Thanks Daniel

I have taken a photo of a round plate.  I want to save the photo only showing the round plate, but I cannot get the elliptical marquee tool to give me a circle of just the plate without including some of the background.  Any help would be appreciated. 

I am using Elements on Windows 10 to Process Multiple Files to Resize all photos to lower res sizes. If I check Include All Subfolders, it goes through them all and I see them flash on the screen. However, it only resizes photos in the primary folder. Subfolders are left the same. Any ideas?Thanks.

Photoshop Elements 2022 Problem:After editing a photo in the Editor, it shows in the Organizer as a “broken” unusable image.This is not the case with every photo, but it’s happened to me twice so far. Situation:My old Dell PC had become unbearably slow so we replaced it with a new Dell XPS 8950 with Windows 11.When the new PC was up and running, I logged into the Adobe website and downloaded Photoshop. Just before purchasing the new PC, I’d made a backup of my Photoshop catalog/images, so after installing the Photoshop Elements software, I restored the backup to the new PC.  (There were more than 39,000 images; 149 of them did not restore, but that was not a problem for me because I found I could recapture them from the backup drive).I checked out the folders in the Organizer and all seemed to be in good order.Then I tried editing.  The first two or so photos were without issue, but then I came upon one that went horribly wrong. I did the edits to the photo, wh

Where do I find the heart shape to crop an image in PSE 2022

I recently had my Dell Windows 10 laptop fixed, they put a new motherboard on it. Now I can't access my Adobe Premiere Elements, or Photoshop.  A window pops up when I try to open the programs and it says my serial number is already being used by the maximum amount of computers, and I have to deactivate my other computer, but I don't have another computer. When I go into my Adobe account it says, “you have no activated devices.”  How can I get them to work again?

Hello there,I have just installed Photoshop Elements 2022 on my PC and there were a few issues with my system seemingly resetting some things but that has been resolved now. Now, the only issue is that the pen pressure as well as the other "tablet settings" in the program doesn't workI have tried everything this website suggests https://www.xquissive.com/how-to-fix-pen-pressure-issues-in-photoshop/ , including;- Updating my tablet driver- Unistalling and reinstalling my tablet driver- Restarted my PC multiple times- Turned off Windows ink in my tablet settings- Making sure my PC is updatedThough, there was a problem with "solution 2" on that website, as I couldn't find any folder called "Adobe Photoshop 2020 Settings" anywhere on the given pathwayIt is worth noting that the pen pressure continues to work on Photoshop Elements 10, which is the program, I have been using until nowMy tablet is a Wacom Intuos Pro M and my PC runs on Windows 10Also beware; I am not a native Englis

I have copies like twenty of a sertion time area in my cotalag why does it keep adding copies?

I've been using Elements forever. Organizer is great. I love the ability to link audio with photos. The albums and tags are great, too.  I would like the entire Organizer to be available online. Is there a way to get this done?  Without losing my dead relatives audio files attached to certain photos? Is there a phone app version I don't know about?

Hello! I am very new to the Photoshop Elements community.  I imported a bunch of photos and can see them just fine in the "Grid" view of my Organizer, but when I double-click to look at any particular photo, all I get is a grey screen.  If I move my mouse around on that screen I can see the names of the persons in the photo, but not the photo itself. I am using Elements on a Mac and am on Mac OS Monterey, 12.3.1. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm having troubles trying to print 5x7 photos in elements 2021 it seems to either not print or print halfway, I have been through all of the printer setting and  tried all sorts of different settings and always get the same results. other programs I use to print have no issues printing photos, but are limted on editing.Any suggestions would greatly appreciated.

I create some drag and drop templates in my past and cannot remember how I did the boxes and what I used.  All I have to do is drop a photo into them, I do not need to use a clipping mask.  Can someone refresh my memory on how to do this in PSE? I can only find tutorials of how to use already created drag and drop templates.

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 in May 2022.  I cannot get the editor to load.  This seems like a common problem in the forum threads, but I have yet to find the "official solution".  If it's that common just re-installing seems like it will happen again.  I have rebooted, tried killing the task and relaunching.  Any official solutions?
