Photoshop Elements

I have both Photoshop Elements and Premier elements installed. If i choose Photosop Elements icon it brings up the box to choose either Photo or VideoWhen i choose Photo and try and print something the program just freezes.If i open from the Premier Elements icon you get the same box, i then again choose Photo, hit the print button and it brings up my printer, everything fine.Does anybody have an answer. WIN11 - Canon IP8750 latest drivers installed    

I got a new camera (Canon 250D) and started photographing in RAW (CR3). I tried to open a file with PE14, but it doesn't support it: "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document"   I read about "Camera raw plug in installer and first installed version 10.5. Later I read that the canon 250D is supported but needs minimum version 11.3 of the plugin so I installed 14.4 afterwards.   Still not working, any solutions?

I was sent here to request that QUICK MASK be added as tool in Elements.  I use it a lot in PS5.  I can no longer update my OS without losing PS, but can't migrate to Elements without the Quick Mask feature. 

I just purchased Photoshop Elements 2022 for Windows. During the purchase, Adobe would not let me use the same Adobe account that I used in purchasing Acrobat DC. Now I can only use either PSE or Acrobat, but can not have both accounts active at the same time. What can I do to make it so I can use both programs?

Hello, not sure if I'm doing the right thing here, but my granddaughter learnt Photoshop at college when she was doing graphic design.She is coming off benefits and now she wants to earn some money from what she has learned, but the cost of Photoshop is prohibitive.Unfortunately, there are not enough funds available to pay monthly, especially with the increase of household bills. Of ocurse I try and help out, but my bank account is not so great anymore.Is there a cut down version of Photoshop anywhere, or should I be looking on Ebay for used Discs maybe ?Denis

I'm in PE2019, and it would be so much more helpful if the crop tool showed the pixel size rather than percentages as the crop tool changes as I scroll. Any way to make that happen? Thank you.

I make a family calendar every year. And I have over 100 birthdays and anniversaries to add to it.  With my current version of PE I must input them manually.   I want to import them directly from my Contacts app (mac).     Can I do this in the new version?  For reference - the old version of Apple Photos included this feature.  it saved a lot of work.

I have been using Photoshop Elements 15 for many years, with various iPhones, and have had no problems importing pictures. However, I am now using an iPhone X, with Windows 10, and experiencing increasing difficulty. In the past, I could go to 'import from camera or card reader' > 'Apple iPhone' and the application would identify all the photographs on my phone then only import the photographs that had not been previously imported. Now it tries to import nearly everything, irrespective of whether the photo has been previously imported or not. If I go to the advanced dialogue box, most but not all the pictures from the phone are displayed in the selection panel but the photos are not shown in the correct chronological sequence and the date and time information, as to when the photographs were taken, is often wrong. During the import of images in block from a network folder Elements crash. The crash was in version 2021. I have done the upgrade to 2022 and the crash there is again.{Title edited by Moderator}

I have PSE 2022 on Windows 11.  I seem to have a problem associated with the resolution of how the program itself displays (not associated with resolution of my photos). Specifically, in Organizer the fonts on the menus are larger and almost appear to be bolded.  In editor the appear properly sized, and similar in appearance to other progams I have (Office, Quicken).  I've searched the forums, and tried several suggestions associated with the properites of the .exe and the DPI settings but so far it hasn't fixed the problem. Other than that, PSE seems to work fine, but I find it odd that Editor and Organizer are appearing so differently when they are both components of the same product set, from the same software vendor, installed at the same time, on the same computer, etc. Any suggestions or ideas on how to address or further trouble-shoot would be welcome. -Brian

I have a new laptop and went to download my version 2018, and it wouldn't let me, it would download version 2020. I had a rep, who was on the acrobat team, download version 2018, which I have installed, but it says my license is not valid.  He can't help me any more.  It is crazy that I bought the software in June 2020, and a little over two years later it is already end of life.  But why is my license not working?   I'm not a heavy users of photoshop so I can't afford to keep upgrading. Thanks.

Can the PE2021 Organizer open 2 windows and/or 2 instances simultaneously on Win 11? ThanksBob

I had my desktop PC fail completely and don't have access to it now. I tried to re-install my PSE 14 (I have CD and serial number) on new PC. I got the <too many activations> error message. So I uninstalled it on another device that I could access but this made no difference. So research now tells me I should have "deactivated" it, not un-installed it! So how do I get Adobe to now realise that I do in fact only one copy of PSE 14 running so that I can install on my new PC?

I have Photoshop Elements 12, a desktop version installed on my older laptop. I need to reinstall it on my new laptop, but I can't find the serial number. Is there any way to locate it within the software? I went to the Help tab, and there is a lot of information, but no serial number. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could retrieve it?

 Hey everyone, I can't be the only one with this issue, but searching has gotten me nowhere.   I have a version of PSE 2020 (Version 18.0 (20200120.m.139570) x64, and just got notified today while using it that there is an update, but, the app will not update. It just keeps telling me to update my OS and that my browser is no longer supported so update it, or some such nonsense.  The problem is I already have THE latest windows 10 pro update/version, and I use MS Edge, which is also updated to the latest version.  I am running MS Edge in "Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode" and to "Let Internet Explorer open sites in Microsoft Edge". Edge is set as my default browser. Any ideas on what I can do?thanksRob

Ik heb photoshop en première elements 2020 ruim 2 jaar geleden aangeschaft. Mijn desktop-pc is gecrasht en nu ik photoshop 2020 wil installeren op mijn nieuwe desktop-pc, en mijn licentienummers invul, krijg ik als antwoord dat mijn licentie gebruikt wordt op een andere computer. Dit is onmogelijk, die computer is stuk en vernietigd. Deactiveren werkt niet. Help alsjeblieft, ik heb over het probleem gebeld, maar mij wordt gezegd dat ik een nieuwe versie moet kopen. Ik heb betaald voor de 2020 versie en wil geen nieuwe versie, maar een goed werkende installatie.

I had a strange problem, I would start Photoshop Elements 2022, running on Windows 11, and the application would start but would not respond to any mouse clicks.  This included the menus and shortcuts.  After about seven minutes of waiting, it would start working with no problems.I tried a clean install, but the problem remained.  I was about to rebuild my computer when I noticed the non-responding program was waiting on the spooler service.  So I changed my default printer to the Microsoft PDF printer, it was set to a network printer which is off at the time, and it now works with no delay.I think this is a bug in PS Elements.I hope this helps someone else!

Organizer 2022 freezes, rather than starts, on every attempt to create a Slideshow.  It freezes regardless whether starting by Create, Slideshow ... or using the TaskBar, Slideshow ... or selecting a couple photos, right-clicking, & choosing Slideshow.  It freezes on the "Loading" message, rather than starting Slideshow.  I'm running a relatively newish Dell PC, Windows 10.   I have to use Premiere (Expert Mode) to make slideshows.  What's wrong with Organizer 2022's Slideshow?

I installed PSE 2022 and it worked, telling me I had 29 days left. I quit it and when I reopened a little later it says that my trial has expired. SInce then I uninstalled and installed multiple time, using different browers, different users, and different Adobe sign ins. Nothing works. What's going on?

I removed Photoshop Elements from my computer and want to reinstall it.  I get an error message. I tried restarting my computer which didn't help.  Tried starting application manually and that didn't work either. I've successfully installed this program before but uninstalled it to get a clean copy so I could import all of my Pictures to it. I didn't even get to the point where I needed to enter my serial number. Thanks.Patricia Empson

Based on suggestions I saw in other posts, I installed the HEIC and HEVC extensions, and I changed my iPhone setting to most compatible, which I believe will only affect future photos.  I also removed the folders and files under Adobe Common. I am trying to import photos from my iPhone 12 into PSE 2020 using Get Photos & Videos from Camera or Card Reader.  It is only finding 5 recent JPGs.  (I don't know why it is even seeing these since I didn't change any settings until tonight.)  There are about 400 images on the phone that I'm trying to upload.   Did I miss a step?  Thanks in advance!Carol 

I have a back of a CD cover that the background is orange and the font is black. I printed it years ago and it was fine. I have since edited it and it's printing way too dark. I've read about converting it to a PDF then to a CMYK which was a no go as nothing will open it. I'll send the sample. Photoshop usually can deal with anything but this one I can't adjust. Thanks.

I just installed PSE 2022 on MacOS 12.5.1. When opening PSE a window pops up saying the trial period has expired. Tried to reboot, uninstall and reinstall - all with the same result. What do I need to do? BTW I am a novice to this...
