Photoshop Elements

I am using a trial of Photoshop Elements 2022 with 29 days left. I know NOTHING about it and really only need it for one purpose. If I can make this work easily, I'll buy it!I create security badges. I need to use submitted photos of various sizes, but I want to remove the background and replace with a neutral color (gray). Then I need to resize the photo to a specific pixel size (ie 300px x 400px). I searched but was unsuccessful in finding a simple way to do this. If someone has any suggestions, I'm all ears. Keep in mind, I have NO familiarity with PSE.

Installation of Photoshop Elements freezes at first installatio screen 

New computer, Windows 11.  I cannot save as jpeg, the option is not there.  I could do it on my old computer.  I do collages, then merge visible layers, then save as jpg.  Worked on the old computer and it was Photoshop Elements 2022, but can't do it on Windows 11.   Also tried as some suggest, File, Preferences, File Handling, enable legacy save as - I don't have those options. What is the workaround please?

Brand new iMac M1 yesterday. I set it up as-is right out of the box to start as fresh as possible. I launched Safari and logged into my Adobe account to download Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022. After doing so, I now have a Creative Cloud symbol in my menu bar at the top right of the screen. Did Elements put it there?  I do have an active subscription to CC -- it will expire in March, as I chose not to renew -- but I did NOT download any of CC's apps on my new Mac; I only downloaded and installed Elements 2022.

I have the image below. How can I replace it so it's just one uniform aqua color (a color I pick from the image itself)?

Beim Anmelden bekomme ich die Meldung "Ihr Browser oder Betriebssystem wird nicht mehr unterstützt.Ich habe natürlich alle Updates für Windows 11 installiert.Logge ich mich im Internet über meinen Account ein, kann ich sehen , das Version 10 und 14 Registriert sind. Den Versuch mit meiner Seriennummer zu registrieren kommt die Meldung "Diese Seriennummer wird bereits verwendet".Wie kann ich das beheben?Gruß Christian

 It was simple to build a shortcut in PSE2021 to launch the photo editor without navigating the home screen. All you had to do was locate the appropriate.exe file and make a shortcut to it. I've been attempting to do the same with PSE 2022 but can't find the correct.exe file. Adobe appears to have made some changes in PSE2022 to make things more difficult (if not impossible). Is there any way to get to the photo editor without going through the home screen? If so, what exactly is it? Thanks

Hi,Had to reinstall my OS and after reinstall it says Cannot process Serial Number Validation for Photoshop Elements 13, on MacOS Sierra.It cannot see an internet connection although it is connected and the internet is working fine.Thanks, Karolis.

I cannot add any more photos to PE because my C Drive is full. How does one export photo albums to a external drive?

Hi, I just wanted to check that in Elements 2022 it stores the face names in the file itself so if I move the image elsewhere my work/time is not wasted?  I have a lot of images and I don't want to have to redo it, but I can't find clear info on this. Any help greatly appreciated! Mike

I have Photoshop 2022 on my Windows computer and I do not have the rectangular tool in my toolbar. With my research, I've tried to Edit > Toolbar, but there is not a toolbar option in the Edit tab. Neither is there three dots at the bottom of the toolbar to bring up an extended menu to make changes.Is there another way for me to edit my toolbar and access the rectangular tool?

Adobe Team, I purchased Photoshop Elements 12 around Christmas time of 2013. It has been years since I used it and just now tried to use my disk to install it on a new computer to edit some summer vacation photos. I was able to install the program, but it is requiring me to enter my Adobe account in order to launch the editor. To my knowledge I do not have an account. I have the physical disk and original packaging including the serial number. Please help me gain access to the program that I purchased years ago. Thanks.

Because the files are 'missing' I cannot edit them.  I have tried to reconnect them but when I point the program to the correct file, the dialog box says the original file on the hard drive was not connected to the catalog file. All my programs are located on my C: drive (an SSD).  All my documents and photos are located on my J: drive (a 3TB hard drive), and were linked to the image files in PSE10.  After PSE 2022 converted the images, it now says they are located on the C: drive; in the properly named folder, but on the wrong drive.  So, in an attempted workaround, I deleted one of the images from the catalog and then loaded it back in directly from the J: drive, thinking it would then be connected.  Again, PSE2022 now says it is in the C: drive, but can't locate it when I try to edit the file and refuses to reconnect when I point it to the file on the J: drive.  Any suggestions on how to reconnect would be appreciated.  It worked so easily in

This may be well known but I have just found a solution to a problem with commercial photo book printers such as Photobox which has driven me nuts for some time.These generally work with the customer uploading an album of images. The system can then often create very acceptable results by automatically filling the pages (far more effcetively in my opinion than the "Create photo book" offered here for home printing).   HOWEVER the big frustration is that while many (if not all) such services allow whatever files you want to be added, they will subsequently display them only in sequence by alphabetical filename or date of file creation.  Anything automatically created using hteir software must then have the images in that order. I am out of space.  Are 3D objects needed? What can I delete besides Apps? Cannot run Photoshop Elements 2022 Editor - Organizer works.

I am having this infuriating problem when using Elements Organizer 15.  My OS is Windows 10 Pro v1903.  First of all, this app has never worked properly when in Maximum window view.  In this view, the drop down menus do not appear.  I can only use this program in a Restore Down view.  This behavior has worsened.  I can no longer easily move the Organizer window to a Resore Down position.  It will jump into a set position but once the cursor is back to this window it jumps to Maximum view.  When the cursur is placed on the Maximum window, it jumps back to a Restore view.  It becomes an endless game of Whac-A-Mole.  Does anybody know of a fix?  The only solution I have found is by working it for a while an activating menus and making selections, I can eventually get things to settle down.

I have updated Photoshop tonight and it is still flickering and freezing whilst I try to use it. All my drivers are up to date and I can't understand why this is happening. It has been going on for the past month and nothing has changed. I can't finish the project I am currently working on as it is making me feel ill watching the screen whilst it flickers away. I would add a screenshot, but it wouldn't be seen on a photograph.

Hallo,ich habe vor einiger Zeit einen neuen Laptop gekauft. Da ich PSE 15 bereits auf einem anderen PC laufen habe, musste ein "Arbeitsplatz" deaktiviert werden. Dies geschah auch (ich sprach mit einer Mitarbeiterin). Das Programm lief dann auf meinem neuen Laptop problemlos über mehrere Wochen.Seit einigen Tagen ist es aber so gewesen, dass beim Start von PSE 15 auf diesem neuen Laptop immer die Info kam, dass die Seriennummer bereits von der maximal zulässigen Anzahl von Computern verwendet wird. Ich müsse einen Computer deaktiveren (wie mache ich das???) oder eine andere gültige Seriennummer eingeben (welche soll das sein?). Als diese Meldung immer wieder aufploppte, habe ich immer auf "Weiter" geklickt. Dann kam natürlich auch wieder die gleiche Fehlermeldung. Dann habe ich dieses Fenster geschlossen und es kam die Frage ob ich diese Anwendung wirklich beenden möchte und ich antwortete mit ja. Hi All, I am a Photoshop beginner. I have removed an object using the Guided feature. The object removed was a person. This has left a blurred figure in the picture where the person was standing. Picture is attached. The person was standing in front of the black gate, located on the left of the picture. How do I correct the blurred figure? From the top of the blurred figure to the bottom, it requires the gate to be fixed, as well as the ground, etc. The clone stamp tool appears not to have been successful because there is not a consistent image, meaning there are multiple images/colors (black gate, pale ground, etc.). I have not found the spot healing brush successful either. Any suggestions on how to best fix blurred images after an object has been removed? Thanks in advance!
