Photoshop Elements

We have purchased both Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements for some of our users who don't need the full Creative Cloud suite. They were able to install the full versions of Photoshop CC and Premiere Pro CC, but none of them can run the Elements versions (on Windows 10). The apps will launch, the interfaces displays on the screen and then immediately (every time) they get the crash error popup. They have full security rights and so I have no idea what else could be causing this issue. Anybody know of a solution? Our IT group has contacted Adobe but no response. All have various Dell computer models with the current version of Windows 10, updated video drivers, etc. Again, Photoshop CC will function, but Elements will not.

My old Mac stopped working – was using Elements version 18. I now have the old hard disk as an external hard disk. All photos are on a separate external hard disk.Version 18 of Elements is downloaded on new Mac (Monterey 12.5).I need help finding all tagging’s, albums, and faces.Which directory or files should I look for on my old hard drive? Where should they be in the root structure on the new Mac? How do I import them or recreate them?Does anyone have the solution - preferably in Norwegian?After finding all tagging, I will install version 20 and use the latest version.

Lets try it this way. A have a folder that has my last catalog backup. Lets call that folder Last Complete Backup. Lets note that it has 331,000 things in it, maybe those things are files, I don't know, but 331,00 somethings.  Moving on, today I did a partial backup. during that process the software prompts, Where do you want to the new backup to go to, the Adobe noun for that place seems to be backup path. I had already made a folder. Lets say the name of that folder is the New Place, it's empty right now.  The next thing I have to provide is the path to where the current backup data is, and that's of course is Last Complete Backup folder. I provide that information. The backup runs and finishes. Now I have two folders. New place has 16,000 things in it. Last Complete Backup has 331,000 things in it.   So I'm thinking, that new folder isn't a new bakup it's a just a partial backup.  Well, why am I complaining, didn't I want a partial backup? I am getting a disk error message in 2021. When I close 2021 return to 2020 the disk error message does not come up. The message also blocks me from saving the work I had doing since I opened the file that was connected to the error message. And once again if I return to 2020 I do not get the disk error message and never did. Thanks

I recently bought Elements 2022 for Mac. When I use the healing brush, only the central portion of the sampled area is transferred to the new location. I have the same issue with the paint brush. I never had this problem with Elements 15 which I used previously. Any fix suggestions?

Backing Up PE2019 Catalog Temporarily Lost Photos but Not AlbumsI’m using PE2019 on a laptop with an SSD. I keep my photos, my PE catalog from when I got my new laptop, and other files on my black passport EHD. I keep my last three PE catalog backups on my blue passport EHD. When I backed up my PE catalog about two weeks ago,  I deleted my last catalog backup from the blue EHD to make room for the new one and ran the Backup Catalog as usual. Afterwards, when I clicked on my albums in Organizer, they were all empty. My photos disappeared from inside PE2019 but still exist outside of PE2019 in Photos. When I checked today, my photos were there. I’m glad they’re there, but what is going on? Downloaded Photoshop Elements 2022, installed and will not launch the either the Organizer of the Editor. What happens is the message configuring the Organizer or Editor workspace and then it simply ends withough launching the either app. My current system is macOS Catalina 10.15.7 Any ideas how to get the app to lunch?

Hello I bought a new camera (Nikon D7500) and my old CameraRaw 6.x (Photoshop Elements 9 (2011)) can´t process the new Raw-files (NEF) of the Nikon camera.So I ´m testing the demo-version of Photoshop Elements 2022 and the new CameraRaw 14.4 for three weeks now. Good news: It can process the new NEFs. But there are two things that annoy me: 1) I cannot load/use my old (mainly free) 8bf.-plugins/addons/filters (probably from third party providers), like "Luce", "VirtualPhotographer" and others. Are old plugins/addons/filters not usable in the new PSE 2022 ? 2) Are there two different versions of the new CameraRaw 14.4 in PSE and PS CC ?CameraRaw has - allegedly - a function to apply lens corrections (e.g. distortions, vignettes). But I can't find them in the PSE 2022 version. Thank you in advance (and excuse my google-translator english...)

All of a sudden PSE no longer opens HEIC files without crashing.  When contacted support, they said it is a compatibility issue with my Mac operating system 11.6.7.  So, it worked yesterday, and now it doesn't?  This doesn't seem to be the issue.  I have restarted the computer and do not know what else to try. Any suggestions are appreciated.Thank you,Debbie

Hallo,  bei PSE 21 Album habe ich nach wie vor das Problem, dass ich die Fotos nicht verschieben kann. Es fehlt auch die Album-Reihenfolge, oben links.(vgl. Sreenshot) Wenn ich verschieben will, erscheint ein kleiner  durchgestrichener roter Kreis.Gruß  Reinhard

When I try to start Elements 21 on my MacBook Pro  with MacOS Monterey 12.0.1, I get the small information screen about the product and the spinning beachball.  All my other Adobe products work fine. 

I have three Elements installations running on different computers. Ver 9, 14 and 22.Some of the old ones have installations on computers that ar no longer availabel.There also seems like that element products can´t be deactivated on the "activated units" page becaus I have none ot them visible there. The licenses are however registrered on the "products" page.Any idea on how to clean out the old installation info from Adobes installation database? best regards / Håkan

Hello, I am getting the 2 error messages when using Mac STUDIO OS MONTEREY version 12.4 The first error i get is could not build a preview because of a disk eror. the 2nd one i get is could not complete the image size command becuase of a disk error. i have called apple 3 times and they have provided assistance for a temporary fix but said to reach oput to Adobe if it persists, whih it has. i use photoshop elements 22, brand new, same with mact studio. Any assistance would be great on how to fix this. Thanks!

I bought this because I didn't need the huge list of tools of the main subscription based applications, and it was just right for me. Now, two years on, they seem to have forgotten me and that I can either start a 30 day trial or to enter a registration key. Are the standalon, no-subscription elements/premier purchases really an unlabeled secret lease? ( "Two years are up, kick him off!" )

Does anyone know of software to generate (or present) an online album/gallery USING captions and notes from PSE? I'd be OK with either an HTML generator (like jAlbum) or a service (like Google Photos, though it doesn't seem to do captions at all). The main thing is that I don't want to have to enter captions in some software or website that I might or might not continue with, and which is not tied to PSE. I want to enter captions (or notes -- some might be long) into PSE and be done with it. I realize there are many choices, and I've used jAlbum, though it's been a few years. Getting captions from PSE is the sticking point.

I have been trying to open Photoshop Elements 2020 on my Mac and it is prompting me to log in with my AdobeID but it just goes into a circle [removed by moderator] where it keeps asking me to sign in again. I changed my password and I know it's the right one because I've signed in here but I'm going nuts in this endless circle! Anyone had similar problems? And how can I contact anyone at Adobe to help me log back into the software I paid for!?!

Two things I like about LR CC is my X-rite color passport photo saves me tons of time color correcting one image then hundreds are are synched nearly instantly, and keywords.Can I use my X-rite colorchecker passport photo with elements and change hundreds of photos at a time?I assume the organizer has rudimentray cataloging system vs LR CC. I don't use collections much but keywords are usefullAny helpful advise in possibly making such a swithch?

I recently acquired PE 2021 and everything in the "Photo Editor" zone works normally except that "Remove color cast" doesn't work at all.  I have opened a number of  JPEGs with a distinct color cast and clicked on an area that should be white and nothing changes at all. All other "Enhance" functions (brightness/contrast/hue/saturation/color curves etc) make changes to the image as expected. Am I missing some step? Holding down "Alt" or "Ctrl" while clicking on the desired area makes no difference.My PE was downloaded from Adobe and properly registered. Any suggestions? Is this a known problem?

I have Elements 2021 running on Windows 11 Home.  A large album I created yesterday has disappeared today.  Any ideas?

I have recently upgraded to Elements 21 and am running Windows 10 on x64. Nowhere can I see 'Save' or 'Save As' on the Edit menu, or see 'File Handling' under 'Edit/Preferences'. So can you please tell me how to save to the Cloud?

PSE 2022 For the last week, whenever I use dodge & burn or go to softly blue the background, I am experiencing a delay/drag/lagging behind of my paintbrush.  Sometimes 15 seconds or more.   Has anyone else experienced this?{ Title edited by Moderator}

Ik heb een probleem met het laden van een foto in de editor. Zodra ik het selecteer in de organizer en vervolgens de editor bel, krijg je onderstaand bericht. Ik heb alles al geprobeerd totdat ik de software verwijder en opnieuw installeer. Nadat ik het programma opnieuw heb geïnstalleerd, krijg ik het bericht dat er een update beschikbaar is. Ik kan deze ook niet laden vanwege een foutcode 131.Dit zou weer te maken hebben met Adobe Cloud wat ik niet gebruik en ook niet op mijn desktop heb staan. Daardoor kan ik ook het voorgestelde onderdeel, CCXProcess.exe,  niet uitschakelen.Wie kan mij helpen dit op te lossen.
