Photoshop Elements

Hi there. Sorry but I'm not very good at forums and this is the first time I have ever been on one. My problem is Windows 10 did some kind of a major update recently to my computer. Following this Elements 11 all but disappeared from my computer and I can now only find part of this programme by opening a raw image. The majority of the programme is now missing and things such as 'guided' and 'expert' are no longer available. I have tried to re-install the Elements 11 disk but this just keeps going round and round without installing until my computer eventually ejects it and the situation remains the same. I am almost certain it was the Windows update that caused this problem.I would really appreciate any advice anyone can give on this matter please. I am reluctant to delete the programme entirely and try to re-install it as otherwise I wouldn't have access to things such as this forum etc. for help if this did not work. At least I still have part of the programme working at this time.So

I cannot find the "Variables" option in the "Image" menu in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 Editor. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks so much, Anthony   [email address removed by moderator]  

Maybe 15 years ago, I purchased Photoshop Elements 4.0 for Windows XP, but never installed it on my PC. I subsequently bought a Macbook Air, which is running Monterey 12.3.1. Is it somehow possible to install the Windows XP version on my Mac?

will Photoshop elements 2021 work with the new M1 chip and big sur I am thinking of buying a mini mac that has the new M1 chip in would it work.

I use the Nik Collection as a plugin to PSE 2019. Recently when using the Nik collection I was prompted to install the latest update. When I did PSE editor would appear briefly on my screen before disappearing. I uninstalled the updated version and re-installed the version I had no problems with. I tried updating a couple of times but the result was the same.I raised the issue with DXO and recieved the following reply; "unfortunenately we do not support the use of Nik Collection 4 with PSE2019, so we would be unable to troubleshoot this issue further."I wondered if anyone else has had this problem and if they were able to resolve it.

I'm running PSE 2022 on an HP Laptop running Windows 10-64 Home with Intel CORE i7  - my "Display adapters" show that I have:  Intel (R) UHD Graphics 620 and NVIDIA GeForce MX150The software no longer open at all after I received an error message from "Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 Editor": "Photoshop Elements has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disable enhancements which use the graphics hardware.  Check the manufacturer's website for the latest softwar.  Graphics hardware enhancement can be enabled in the performance panel of preferences."  I've tried to check to see if I have the latest drivers - HP & Windows updates both say I am "up to date" - Should I delete PSE 2022 and Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 and re-install them on my computer?  How exactly could I accomplish this as I purchase a "one time install" version?- I am only slightly computer literate, so I would need very specific instructions, please.Than

Out of nowhere I can't open jpegs to edit. Instead I see a panel headed up 'New' and whatever option I select, it opens up with no image, although the title is correct. I've tried several.  However, opening a 'recent' image, does display OK?  Any ideas how to solve please?Image sent here

As a long time user of Photoshop and recently switching to PSE2018, one of the things I miss most is the Selective Color Adjustment Layer in Photoshop! Is there a way in PSE to selectively adjust colors?

Does the map feature work in Element 2020 

The toolbar in Camera RAW (V13.0.0.612) of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 (V19.0) is missing. This toolbar should be located in the top-left corner of the Camera RAW program, but there is nothing there. What do I need to do to call up this toolbar? (OS Windows 10 Home V10.0.19041 Build 19041 64-bit, all updates installed).Alfred

Hi all. In december I bought a MacBook Air,, very fast one with M1 processor. And I bought photoshop elements 2021.but some things work soooo slow!! For example when I want to use a surface blur filter it takes a whole minute to process. Does anyone recognize this? also, when I adjust brightness and contrast it does not show immediately, I have to uncheck the box 'preview' and then check it again. Hope someone knows the solution. 

Anyone know how or if it's even possible, to make Elements 2022 full screen?

Hi , I just bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 and I am having a problem with it on my new Windows 11 PC.   Most of my photographs are from my iPhone and are in the HEIC format. And The Organiser software is telling me that it can't read these files. It tells me that I need to install the HEIF Image Extension for Windows 10    However I have already installed the HEIF Image Extension and HEVC Video Extension for Windows 11 installed.   Is this a know issue or is there any workaround / fix.    Thanks

Hi,In 2017, I bought a discounted package Photoshop Elements 14 and Premiere Elements 2014 at local store. As I remember, the package was new, wrapped in foil, etc. I still have the receipt, box, DVDs with serial numbers labels.I activated both applications on the Adobe website in my profile few days later, I installed and worked 2-3 years until my computer was crashed. During COVID-19, I didn't feel to need use these programs, so I didn't install them on the second computer until the day before yesterday when I diligently needed to test my daughter's new graphics tablet.It turned out that PSE14 is missing on my list of products.I tried to explain it on chat and found out that my number is assigned to a different account, from 2015 and they can't help me.What to do now?

Well, my laptop computer just stopped working. (2013 model). So, I downloaded a copy of Elements 14, installed it on my new computer, and was advised that I had too many activations! On logging in to the Adobe site, I found that my login reported that I had Zero computers activated?What I would like to do is reset all activations, then maybe I can get my paid version to work on my new computer

Does anyone know of a watercolor plug-in or filter software for PSE 2022?i've seen really nice ones for Photoshop or Lightroom, but nothing for PSE

I got a new laptop (MacBook Pro Version 12.2.1) and tried downloading Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019. I can get onto the the elements homepage fine but it won't let me go onto Photoshop Elements Editor (which is the only thing I use). It keeps giving me an error message whenever I try to get onto Photoshop Elements Editor saying: "Your application install seems to be damaged, Please reinstall the application." I did what they told me to do but got the same message. So I did it again... and then again. I'm so frustrated and just want my program back! I don't have enough money to pay monthly for Photoshop and I paid a lot of money to get this program. PLEASE HELP!

I am trying to change the color associated with a category tag in the Organizer.  I have Elements 2021 on a mac running Monterey 12.3.1.  In the Keywords I select my category tag, then choose "Edit" from the drop down menu next to Keywords.  This brings up the "Edit Category" box, then I select "Choose Color".  The Color Picker box comes up but is distorted.  I will try to attach a picture below.  The 3 windows within the box that are supposed to display colors are instead semi-transparent.  I can see through these windows to the Organizer thumbnails below.  The windows are not totally clear - they appear to have faint colors over them, as if looking through pale stained glass.  Any idea how to fix this?  The Color Picker box displays normally in the Editor.

I'm using Elements 2021 on a Mac running Big Sur 11.6.5. When I try to use CTRL+Click in Organiser to for example, edit am album name or remove a keyword nothing happens.  The CTRL+Click function works with all my other applications, including Elements Editor. Can anyone help me please? 

Can anyone helpPhotoshop Elements 2018 has suddenly started crashing on my Mac as I try to open it. I am running IoS Big Sur 11.6.5. Does anyone have a solution?

I just upgraded my computer to windows 11 I had to log in to my PS6 and put in my product code now it works. However my Adobe Premiere Elements 15 and my Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 will not work and even though I have my License numbers there is no place I can find to add them. They did both work on in Windows 10. When I click on the error info "here" button it tells me my operating system is no longer supported (which is Windows 11)???I do have the original discs but I would have to get a disc drive would it be worth trying to re install?

I have a very large file that I am trying to break up into 5 chapter sections. Maybe there is a way to do it that doesn't keep crashing?

I have an iMac retina 4K late 2015 desktop , with Monterey 12.3.1  and my old PH SH Elements no longer works. Will PH SH Elements 2022 now work with it? If not, when do you expect it may be fixed?ThanksB

I have a legal version of Version17. of photshop elemets that is Impossible to use becuse you update some stuff and even if I got it to install after alot of error I still can not use it.  If you do not care about older products that are legal why dont you just tell me straight out.I tells me the seriel is wrong and it is the seriel that is atached to my prodoct on your site so what do I do?
