Photoshop Elements

My photos are all taken with with phone, so unless the shot is in landscape mode all the shots are *taken* right side up. Much of the time PSE imports in landscape mode, requiring me to go through hundreds of photos and rotate them. Is there some way to avoid this? And does anyone have any idea why PSE is doing this? Thanks.

I've just upgraded from Elements 8 because it had inexplicably stopped working. Now when I go to run the Photo Editor it asks me to sign in.I'm using software I have installed on my PC to edit photos on my PC, so why do I have to sign in to or for?Also, why has it bloated from 332MB to nearly 3GB (including some cloud stuff.) (I was unable to post this using Firefox also.)

I am using the Enhance > Adjust Color > Replace Color feature to try and change areas of one color to another.  The color replacement in itself is working, my issue is that the replacement color I specify isn't exactly what the program changes it to.  For example, I select an area of an orangy red with HSB values of 14,57,73 and want to replace it with a darkish red with HSB values of 357,67,55.  However, after using Replace Color, when I check the color that now appears in my image it has HSB values of 357,60,63 which is NOT what I requested. It is important that I be able to specify the exact replacement colour and so this difference, while small, is not acceptable in my case.  There are other colour replacements that I've been trying and they are as bad, and in some cases much worse, than what I have specified. Why is Photoshop Elements not honoring the exact HSB values that I input? BTW, the image is in RGB format and I have also tried disab

Using PSE 14.  For the past couple of weeks, I have noticed that new patterns, which I create, are showing a seam.  I have never had this problem before, so don't understand why.  I have recreated patterns over and over, because I've assumed I have done something wrong.  I get the same result.  I suspect this is a bug after a recent update or could it be one of my settings?  Patterns I've produced prior to the last few weeks all work fine, so something has changed. Can anyone point me in the right direction?Here is a screenshot of my pattern and the result when used (note: you can see borders on the screenshots which are not part of the pattern.  I was just a bit sloppy when selecting the screenshot)   Any help would be appreciated.  I'm getting desperate!

I use stacks to organize similar shots for editing or for just minimizing the clutter in the organizer view. But, it is always the case that I find another photo that I would like to add to an existing stack. I cannot find any facility in Organizer to do this. I found a convoluted way to do this by first selecting a photo in the stack (any photo) and then selecting the additional photo. This creates a unusual looking stack; kind of a stack within a stack but it does include the photo.  The must be a better way. Does anyone know how to do this. It seems like this would have been included in the stack dialog box but I don't see it. Thanks.

Nach der Bearbeitung gescannter Fotos meldet Organizer immer wieder, dass Fotos nicht gespeichert werden können, weil angeblich schon in einer Datei vorhanden. Dies ist jedoch in aller Regel falsch! Wer kann Auskunft geben, wie dies behoben werden kann??

I have a 30 line set of text that I want to add beneath a photo. I know how to increasae image size for this but how do I add all the text in one go?

Hello from Germany!I own Photoshop Elements 2020. Is it possible to buy and register Photoshop Elements 2022 NEW or do I have to upgrade from 2020 to 2022? If I buy the new 2022 version it's cheaper than an upgrade to 2022. But is that possible? Have I to delete the 2020 version?Thank you!

Hi!I bought PSE to my MacBook Air last year in the summer and installed it, it worked fine despite it was in english not swedish as my natural language, but as I also has a PC and there has a swedish version of PSE 2020 it was no big problem.But about some 1 or 2 months ago it did'nt start any more, it does not answer is the message I got from my Mac. Is it because the OS has ben updated or what has gone wrong? And how do I solve the problem, I am not interested in bying a whole new version of PSE 2022 if I in any way can awoid it. I have several questions:Just downloaded photoshop elements 2020 version 18 to my newer computer.  Unable to upload psd file and error comes up "could not complete your request because of program error"Suggestions?WHen I look at my account, it says. you have no activated devices.  Should there be a device listed there and if so, how do you add a device?  Can't find a place to do so Thanks!

It is not indicated in the specs, so looking for real world user feedback. I'd like to avoid adding a converter to my workflow. TYIA. 

Before I do anything with my photos, I convert them from jpeg to tiff.  I have two 24mb digital cameras and the resulting tiff files are easily handled by Photoshop Elements.  However, I have recently had a problem with very slow opening of the iPhone tiff files, as well as problems with editing them.  I finally looked at the file sizes and realized that the tiff conversion is creating 2G+ files.  Since I've never had to deal with this before, I would appreciate some help in understanding how to keep the files a managable size without compromising quality.  Thanks.

I am currently using this as the free trial. Have also recently upgraded to Monterey. Unable to see the Foreground/Background colour on Toolbar. Any help please?If I am unable to use this then I shall not be purchasing the software!

Photoshop Elements 2020: When I shrink files, I use batch processing multiple files, and I always rename by putting "s_" in front of the name.  I can no longer do this.   

Hallo, ich bin neu im Forum und habe eine Frage zum Organizer. Die Suche im Forum zu dieser Frage ergab keine Treffer. Auf meinem Hauptrechner verwende ich seit März 2020 PSE 2020 (vorher PSE 2014). Im Organizer wurde und wird die MapBox-Karte jedoch nicht angezeigt, so dass keine Ort-Tags ausgewählt werden konnten. Heute PSE 2021 auf einem anderen Rechner installiert. Dort wird MapBox-Karte im Organizer angezeigt und kann verwendet werden. Aus diesem Grund auf erstem Rechner PSE 2020 zuerst deinstalliert und dann dort ebenfalls PSE 2021 installiert. Aber auch jetzt wird auf diesem Rechner die Karte nicht angezeigt. Beide Rechner haben Windows 10 Home mit der Version 2004. Hat jemand eine Idee, wie dieses Problem gelöst werden kann? Danke! 

Got a message that there was an update for Adobe Premier Elements 2021 to 2021.1.  Tried to download it. Stopped before finishing with a message that upgrade had failed due to locked file.  Now when I try to open Photoshop Elements, I only get white screen.  When I try to open Adobe Premier Element, I get message saying that the short cut has changed.  What do I need to do? 

I am using Photoshop Elements 2021 Educational version...did a bunch of editing on a pic and saved it to PSD file. I reopened file and wanted to reverse some specific edits without starting all over. When I go to the history...it doesn't show any...I thought is was supposed to save it all...am I missing something?  Thanks Ken 

Greetings! The "Convert to Black and White" option in the "Enhance" menu in Elements 11 has a "newsprint" option that is terrific for cleaning up old yellowed newsprint documents that need to be restored a bit, in order to read them easier.  However, I am only able to apply this great feature in Elements 11, to one page at a time, of my multipage .pdf documents.  I have opened multipage documents in Elements 11, but am unable to get the "blue border" around the thumbnails of more than one page at a time in my multipage .pdf document that I have opened in Elements.  Is there some way I can apply this terrific "Newsprint" feature of the "Convert to Black and White" "Enhancement," in Elements 11, to multiple pages simultaneously? Thanks! Patrick

In 2022 Elements, opening the Layers sidebar no longer shows action options as it did in Elements 10 - Merge Visible in particular I used all the time. How do I do it now?

I bought the Adobe Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements 2022 from Best Buy and successfully installed it a few hours ago.  I would like to ask a question about the Photoshop Elements 'Expert' screen : How come the 'Color Picker' is HALF displaying instead of FULL display.  Please help and let me know how to fix it.  There is no Scrolling Arrows to make a Full Display.  Thanks a lot for your help.

On trying to reinstall PSE14 with original serial number and code on original Laptop, I get message "This file can't be downloaded securely".There was also a note to say the code has already been redeemed. Does  anybody have a resolution to this issue? I am using 64 bit Windows 10 and everything is as it was with the original download (as far as I am aware!),
