Photoshop Elements

Until today, I could easily use Adobe Photoshop Elements (APE) 2019 without any problems, on my desktop as well as on my laptop. I am using it almost daily, already for about two years.However, suddenly today, there is no way I can access any .RW2 file on my desktop anymore!? I can access any map and file, as long as there is no .RW2 file in this map. And I can also access and process any .RW2 file on my laptop (on which APE 2020 is installed).I tested copying a few files via WiFi from my desktop to my laptop. That worked. And I could easily open and process  them with APE (2020) on my laptop. So, the files are not damaged.This suggests (I think) that something suddenly changed within my APE 2019. But what could this be??? Does anyone have any suggestion about the cause of this and a possible solution? Any help woul dbe greatly appreciated!Erna 

Hi, I have used Photoshop Elements 12 successfully for many years. Now I cannot open it. It asks me to sign in for a free trial. I cannot do that. Please help

Just upgraded to Elements 2022 running on Windows 11. Upgraded because Organiser Menu wouldn't work in 2021 version, then discovered it was because I was "hiding the taskbar" in Windows. Never mind!Something I've been thinking about for a while in Organiser. I shoot all my images in Nikon RAW (NEF) and convert to jpg, etc. for family viewing! Organiser shows both images in it's grid and I have to be careful, when deciding to try enhancing an image, that I'm starting from the RAW and not an already processed image. So, I know I can go down "My Folders" and find the RAW images, but I wonder if having two catalogues - one for RAW and one for processed - would help or just confuse matters totally. Can't decide! Does anybody have any other suggestions?Thanks.

I had Elements 11 installed on my laptop but then did a complete re-installation of Windows 10. Now, when I try to re-install Elements from the disk, I'm asked for a numerical code but none of the many numbers on the Adobe package box are accepted as valid. Which one should work? How many digits and an indication of the appearance of the number, or its place on the box labels would be useful. Terry

I am trying to restore a backup catalogue on a single flash drive to PSE13. The flash drive contains an original full backup and two later incremental backups. Despite selecting Restore from Hard Drive/Other Volume, PSE prompts that 3 disks will be required. There are no other on screen instructions. And when I restore, only the most recent incremental backup is restored. What am I doing wrong?

Hey, I have an issue with Photoshop Elements 13 (I know, old version, but, works fine under Windows 10): I batch process some images, with .jpeg file extension. I apply a picture resize for all images, so that they're all 600 pixels high. Apart from that, I set no other settings for the batch processing (no file conversion done either). After the batch processing, all files have a .jpeg.jpg file extension.  Why does PS Elements add the .jpg file extension, and doesn't keep the .jpeg file extension?

Photoshop Elements Editor 2021 freezes during launch on my new M1 MacBook Pro 16 at adding extension... Multiprocessor Support. This one has Monterey preinstalled, of course. In preparation, I upgraded to Monterey 12.1 on the older system yesterday by clean install with recovery using Migration Assistant. Photoshop Elements worked fine afterwards, so I'm pretty sure the new hardware is at least part of the issue. I found several posts that refer to similar issues, but some of the facts don't quite match on the posts I've found. Either the system version is earlier (mine is Monterey 12.1), or the version of Photoshop Elements Editor is later (mine is the latest for PSE 2021, I think: 19.0 - 20210811.m.158081). Is this a problem that already has a remedy or that might have a remedy in the near future? I took advantage of the Adobe promotion on this product last summer, and replacing an aging Mac in the household is now making me regret it. At least Acorn runs fine. An

hi, Ik heb vanaf 2013 op mijn oude windows computer Adobe Photoshop Elements 10  Nu heb ik echter over gegaan op een Apple Mackbook Pro en wil het graag over zetten. Ik heb mij product echter nooit geregistreerd en als ik het nu alleen al probeer in te loggen krijg ik voortdurend de melding dat er een fout opgetreden is en dat ik het later opnieuw moet proberen. Daarnaast is het zo lang geleden en weet ik mijn serienummer niet meer te vinden. Graag krijg ik advies over waar ik dat terug vind en hoe kan ik Elements 10 dan het beste overzet op mijn Macbook Pro?   Vast bedankt, Astrid

I am trying to move a catalog from 2018 to 2021 version both on a MAC - the catalog has approx 14,000 pictures in it. I have tried usign convert adn doign a full backup and restore as well - but when opening in the 2021 version it only shows 2 pictures.I can see in teh bottom left corner of 2018 that it contains 14,000 items but the resotred`converted version only shows 2 - i expect there wil lbe soem differences, but not this many!Also on 2021 after doign the convert or restore it says creating thumbnails but when finished even after restarting it still only shows 2.Is there anything obviousl i may be doign incorrectly - what are the best steps to take to 'move' the catalog form one version to the other?Thanks in advance.

I have photoshop elements 2019 on my laptop and it has worked perfectly until now. My laptop is fully updated with Windows 10 21H2.If I try and open organiser I get the message saying the I have to go to photoshop editor and sign in. OK not a problem.I try to sign in but get a message saying that I need to update (not clear what) and it refers me to a web page.None of the information on this page seems to be relervent but one bit says sign in to my Adobe account and download the latest version of Photoshop Elements 19.I sign in and download the code but it will not install as it says I have to do an update!WHAT UPDATE IS IT THAT I HAVE TO DO????Note. The only change rececntly made to my computer is that I installed Norton Antivirus. Could this be involved here.Please note I have done restarts but this makes no difference.

Hi, I've just purchased an iMac running Monteray operating system and cannot install my Photoshop Elements 13. Which version will run on this operating system please!.. I don't particularly need the 2022 version, I just need any version after 2013.Thanks in advance john

Hi. I just bought a Canon R6. Unbeknowst to me, its RAW files are formatted in CR3 and not the older CR2, which my Canon 1DX produced. Does PSE 2022 support and open CR3 files or do I have to get the full version of PS? Thank you in advance!

I've read that if I update my Mac to Monterey from Big Sur, my Photoshop Elements 2020 will no longer work. Do I really have to buy a new Elements program ($100) every couple of years? Other standalone editors (Affinity, $50) just update their programs when Mac releases new OSes.

New Elements 2022 opens normal, but it takes takes over 30 sec. to start with a file - WHY?All old Elements are uninstalled. Win 10 (64bit) 32 MB ram.I hope for help.

Downloaded Nik Coll. 4.3.0. In the OS, it shows that it is located in PSE 2020, under "Plug ins". Opened PSE, then Edit-Preferences-PlugIns.  Chose file: C:\ProgramFiles\Adobe\PSE2020\Plug-Ins\DxOHit OK.  Check Filter and nothing is there.  Restarted computer.  Still nothing in PSE.  What am I doing wrong? 

Last night I updated to Monterey 12.1. Now my Elements 19 editor won't load. I've been onto my Adobe account & downloaded Elements 19 - it's still broken. I've seen that there is an issue. I urgently need to create a composite picture for a property purchase. What do I need to do ? 

Hi hope someone can help me, i am rather new to photoshop element 2022 . i have managed to do some few things on photoshop already, like out of bounce photos, fun photos,playing around with  layers ect. I am now looking at trying out doing moving animations. i got a photo of a renidee which i would love to see moving ( like is legs and maybe is head) on a Gif . but as i have not got puppet warp on photoshop element 2022 i was wonerding how to do it. so i am asking on here if anyone can help me, either by sending me in a direction where someone is showing how to do it or if someone knows of other ways how to use puppet warp if you have not got it, also how to make all the layers in to one so that i can add it to my photoshop premiere 2022.Kind RegardsWjud 

I have repaired some old photos using Elements 2018 and 2021. The system has saved some of the files as PSD and left others in a regular format. I do not use nor have I signed up for the Creative Cloud. Some other photos that I have not accessed for a considerable time are showing as PSD files.I can't open any of the PSD files. I have tried to get past the Virtual Assistant but I keep getting the message that I don't have any supported apps even though there are three listed in my account. I have had assistance troubleshooting issues in the past two months including phone converations. Two issues - how do I convert the PSD files and how do I get around the Virtual assistant?

I've edited hundreds of thousands of images on PSE over the years, and one of the functions I use almost every time is "Unsharp Mask".  This has long been the bottom selection on the Enhance menu so I automatically click on the bottom entry.  Sadly, this position has been usurped by a couple of newcomers 😞 I keep on forgetting this and opening "Moving Photos" in error.  This is becoming a real nuisance. Is there any way that these two could be repositioned on the Enhance menu so that "Unsharp Mask" can reclaim its rightful bottom place?Thanks, Simon 

Hi! I have yesterday changed my window start to a new SSD. After this I remember I had a rather big map album structure defined in my organizer. Is there a way to transfer this from from my old files on the old disk to a new installation on the new SSD? I run Elements 14 on windows 10. /Lars
