Photoshop Elements

This is a bug report for the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor    On the Mac side when putting plug-ins/filters into Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026/Support Files/Plug-Ins causes an immediate crash when starting the Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor 2026.   You can, however, put the plug-ins/filters into  Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/Elements 26 and they work fine with no crashing.   In addition, using Adobe Photoshop Elements 2026 Editor>Settings>Plug-ins to point to a folder with plug-ins/filters does not work.    

Après l'installation de la version 2026 je l'ai désinstallé complètement car j'ai systématiquement le message ci-dessus.J'ai réinstallé, mais quand je clique sur l'icone de lancement rien ne se passe le programme ne se lance pas.J'ai encore lancé la désinstallation. J'ai encore eu le message ci-dessus arrivé après 90% de progression; La désinstallation s'est quand meme terminée  l'écran de la pièce jointe le prouve.Que dois je faire car si je réinstalle j'aurai encore sans doute le même message !Je suis sous Windows 11 et  je précise que j'ai la version Photoshop elements 2024 qui elle fonctionne correctement.

I just installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 on my new Windows 11 laptop. My first installation attempt, I got this message from Program Compatibility:"This app can't run on this devicePX EngineUnknownThis app can't run because it causes security or performance issues on Windows." I tried installing again using Compatibility Mode with Windows 7. I got the same message from Program Compatibility. But I realized that the software was successfully installed (I am not certain whether it happened after the first or second installation attempt). I've seen posts online from people saying they are successfully using pre-2022 Photoshop Elements software on Windows 11 devices. However, I've also seen posts from people who say their PC would no longer boot after installing pre-2022 Photoshop Elements software. They had to completely reinstall Windows. I'm terrified that my PC won't reboot next time I restart. Is there anyone here who is familiar with this specific issue? Or

Habe vor kurzem meinen PC von WIN 10 nach WIN 11 umgestellt. Hatte auf WIN 10 eine offizielle Version von PSE installiert. Wollte nun PSE auf WIN 11 installieren, jedoch schlug dies fehl. PSE 14  wurde damals  nicht bei Adobe registriert, wollte dies jetzt nachholen, jedoch heißt es dort" Sereiennummer bereits vergeben".Gibt es noch eine Chance, dass ich PSE 14 auf meinem bisherigen Rechner unter WIN 11 mit der Seriennummer installieren kann? 

Hi,I am currently testing Photoshop Elements 2026 on my Windows 11 desktop computer. The program sometimes crashes intermittently when I open a photo. Once it crashes, it will no longer launch properly.I have tried the following troubleshooting steps without success:Restarted Windows 11Ran Photoshop Elements as an administratorUninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop Elements 2026 (it worked briefly before crashing again)Please note that I also have Photoshop (Professional version) installed on the same system, and it works fine.Could you please help me determine what might be causing this issue? Lucien

I just puchased PSE 2026 and it appeared to install properly and it said it converted the catalog successfully. However, upon opening PSE 2026, the folder panel shows just the end directory. In PSE 2019 the directorys were displayed as a hierachial structure.  I've included screen shots of the two. How do I get the PSE 2019 format in PSE 2026?

A week ago I bought Elements 2025. I installed it on two identical Macs at home. (Sequoia 15.6.1) with the same Adobe account. On the first Mac it works fine, but on the second Mac I presently keep getting the message that 'my trial period is over'. Quiting Adobe Apps and logging back in to Elements gives the same result. Reinstalling the app did not help either.   After 15 minutes of nonsense, the chatbot transferred me to a human being, who appeared to work in sales. Transferring me to support did not work. There is no mail address, no contact form. How do I get past this? [insulting comment removed by moderator]

I have an old Photoshop Elements 10 which is registered with Adobe. I also have a new computer without a disc tray. I tried to download from the website and got the executive downloaded, but it is telling me it is missing an archive file? I clicked on the 32 to download, I am very old myself and wonder if there is anything I can do about it, without buying another photoshop product thankyou

I used to be able to right click and open images in Photoshop Elements 2025. Now when I try, it fails to open the image, "Could not complete your request becuase of a program error".Tried reinstalling Photoshop Elements 2025, tried going into preferences and turning off using GPU, etc. Nothing helps.Tried Adobe's support bot. Didbn't have anything useful, and said no chat agents were currently available. Didn't say when any chat agents *would* be available. 

Will the improvements in PSE 26 be incorporated into our PSE 25 or is it stagmented?

WHEN I hit the Print button it crashes and returns to main menu, "what do you want to do today"  Note: My printer works for other applications. Downloaded new driver, no help. Hi Adobe Support,I’m trying to activate Photoshop Elements on a new PC, but one of my activations is tied to a machine that no longer boots. I purchast elements 25. It will not work for me. I entered my redemption code. each time it tells me it is activated, but won't let me in. I have deleted the program and restarted computer several times. Still not luck. I don't know what to do next?

Mais j'ai eu un autre message d'erreur : "Désolé une erreur s'est produite.  et sur cet écran déclarant qu'un rapport d'erreur a été généré, j'ai cliqué  (en donnant mon adresse mail) sur envoyer le rapport.Que dois je faire ? I've tried various prompts this afternoon with different images and get this error.It's nothing I'm going to spend a lot of time trying to figure out- I'm just saying this is what I got this afternoon.It's working just fine in Photoshop (the second image).

I purchased ) after a lengthy problem with my account, Elements 2026. When I check it shows up as "Paid" but it does not show up in my account in the listing of software. I am a long time Elements & Premiere user but the 2025 version is the last to show up. 

I have elements 2025, windows 11 . Every Canon printer I've tried gives me a half inch border on the right and a quarter inch border on the bottom. I've tried every setting, spoke to 3 different Canon tech support people. No one coukd fix it. Chat got also said there was no fix. It's just small 4x6 photos using Canon paper, each photo is cropped to 4x6. Im out of options. They dugesseted bypassing elements since it prints a perfect borderless photo when I use windows photo.

I have, in the past, had photoshop elements to create pages.  I do a lot of digital scrapbooking and have used this for years.  But it's been a year since I have done pages and I forgot how to use this photoshop elements.  I have papers that I use when I go in to create a page, but I forgot how to make it an 8.5x11 size page.  Then I forgot how to make a layer for the photos to add to the page.  Can anyone help me get started?  This is frustrating when you forget how to do it.  

Can I upgrade directly from my Element 2014 to the latest Element 2026 without loosing anything from my Organizer? The only reason I want to upgrade is because My Elements doesn't coop with the latest raw format of my Canon camera. Is it possible to buy a version later than 2014 that manage the new Canon raw format that doesn't have the new 3-year licenze?

I've been using Photoshop Elements for years and upgrade every other year. I have been having a serious issue with 2025 freezing when I'm selecting areas with the selection tool. When the program freezes the only way out is to open task manager and tell it to kill the process. Unfortunately, this doesn't log the issue since it is technically not a "crash". I'm using Windows 11 on a Dell Precision 3660 with 32GM of RAM. I'm just trying to let Adobe know about the issue. I get around it by frequently saving my work in progress (when I remember) as this seems to help.

I have just upgraded from Elements 2021 to Elements 2025.Up to now, in Elements 2021, when I have edited a photo I have added a letter after the photo name.  E.g. Original name 20250801_001, new edited photo 20250801_001A.In Elements 2021 when photos in the Organiser are sorted by Name, the photo without the A was displayed first, then the photo with the A.  In Elements 2025 it is the other way round - the edited photo ending with A is displayed before the unedited photo without the A.Why is this, and is there a way that I can change it in 2025 to display the photo without the A first when sorted by Name?
