Photoshop Elements

I have Photoshop Elements 18 with the original NIK Collection as an addon. My problem is that the NIK menu doesn't always show. It only shows when PSE is closed and I select to edit an image (that is in Faststone) in PSE from a Faststone dropdown menu (right click in Faststone>Edit with External Program). If I now close the image in PSE, NIK's menu disappears? When leaving PSE open and either choosing an image to edit from PSE>Open or from Faststone>Edit with External Program, the image opens in PSE, but there is no NIK menu? Now the kicker: In all cases when NIK's menu doesn't appear, clicking File>Automated Tools>NIK Collection Selective Tools apparently does nothing to show the NIK menu??? However, even though, under the above conditions, I can't get to the NIK menu directly, I can go to Filter>NIK>which then allows for selection of a specific NIK tool...but this is a PITA as I have to keep going to Filter>NIK for each specific tool? Basically and bottom line

Hello, I am trying out PSE22 and wonder, that simple Drag and Drop of Laers into another Tab is not possible? As the Help-Site says "Use the Move tool (Select section of the toolbox), to drag the layer from the source image to the destination image.", I suggest it should work like I know it from my older Version. Are there Workarounds that do not make more clicks? Will Adobe fix this soon?

My 2022 Elements is up to date and I already updated the RAW update.  I still cannot open RAW images!! I use a Nikon D7200 and it is a supported camera.  What next to do?

Hi! I have got a full license for Photoshop Elements 2021 and a full license for Photoshop Elements 2022.In my Adobe account, I see the license for 2022, but the license for 2021 is missing.2021 itself is currently still working fine. Why don't I see it in my account? Best regards,Thomas

I just installed Photoshop Elements 2022.  The toolbox on the left side of the screen is too big and I can't see the bottom of the toolbox.  I've looked through all the preferences, tried right clicking the toolbox and also tried to hide the taskbar to no avail.  I've tried changing the resolution of my display, but it only makes it worse.  Anyone know of a solution?

I have PSE 2018 including a catalog with approx. 20000 items.I installed PSE 2022 and let Organizer convert this catalog. Now, when I open it, all recent items (and I mean from 2015 and later), which are in the 2018 catalog, are NOT in the 2022 catalog.What now?

My PC was recently updated and now my Photoshop Elements 12 program won't open, it wants me to start a new trial period and re-purchase.I encountered this issue once before and thought I saved the "fix" that someone provided to me but of course now I can't locate it.Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.Thank you!Pam R

I am using a MacBook Air running MacOs 12.01 and Photoshop Elements Organizer 2021. I am trying to merge two contact sheets of which I have images. No matter what I do, I cannot select both images in the PhotoBin using the suggested Command/Click command. Can anyone halp me? Previous posts on this topic deal with older versions of Organizer and MacOS.

Elements 12 loads and seems to function as normal on Monterey and the copy and paste functiont allows working on clipboard.  However, it is impossible to print, to export or save the completed work file in any format.  The program shuts down if that is attempted! Any workaround suggestions would be sppreciated.

OK.Par contre, je rencontre 2 pbs avec la fonction Photomerge/panorama.a) sur PSE10sous 'fichier nouveau', photomerge se présente, comme d'habitude.Mais l'écran retourne aussitôt à l'écran d'accueil w10...??tout autre fonction s'active correctement.Que faire, vu qu'une réistalation ne change rien ? b) en PSE19Sous 'Fichier Nouveau, il n'y a rien d'autre que ....' fichier vide 'je ne retrouve mention de photomerge/panorama qu'en ramant entre les 30 'nouveautés de l'écran d'accueil ( bien entendu vers la fin du défilé)cela fonctionne mais s'avère laborieux.Comment retrouver 'photomerge' rattaché à 'fichier' de l'écran 'expert' ?Merci de votre aide.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello, Currently, I use PS Elements 18 (considering 2022) and locally stored photos. I need a new machine, which is going to be Win 11 with a smaller HDD.  I am wondering if I store my photos in dropbox online. Will organizer be able to link/list these file?  If so there a way to limit the sync to a specific folder and all subfolders that are added to that specific folder? 

Hello, I wonder if anyone can advise me please. I am trying to learn how to make repeat patterns for textiles from photographed handpainted designs. I struggle with photoshop because it's so complicated and I am fairly new to it. I have had more success using Elements for editing photos - which I currently have on free trial. However, I cant figure out on either program, how to make repeat patterns from photos. I dont have a lot of time left on the free trial or time to dedicate to experimenting before it runs out. Can anyone advise me whether it is possible to do this on Elements please - if so, I will buy it and figure it out later. If not, I will have to stick with Photoshop and continue to be overwhelmed by it I suppose. Many thanks if anyone can help.Hannah

I have tried turning off automatically hiding the task bar as has been suggested but that didnt work. . Its useless unless I can use the drop down menus - please help as its useless without them. Using windows 10

My photos are stored on an external server (cloud). The catalogs on my PC. The software does not allow to set a watch folder on a server. Is there a solution?I can see the folder structure of the external server drive on the left side of the PSE. It shows me all the photos that are on it. Only the folder monitoring does not work. The catalogs are on my PC.Thanks for your help.

Hello Atul Saini,I am having the same problem, but when I take off the image on disk Utility, when I open it again, it appears again with the same message. I am downloading the program from my account

I have Adobe Elements and when I open my blank file to work and begin to edit something, I click the mouse and my whole elements screen turns grey so I can't see what I am doing.  Any idea?  Adobe also won't let me speak with technical support because I bought my program through the app store. 

I recently replaced an older version of Photoshop Elements with Photoshop Elements 2022. Suddenly, when I try to print a photo, I no longer get a choice of standard American print sizes or choice of HP photo papers for my 2320 printer. The paper types and sizes appear to be for Japanese prints. I tried resetting preferences but this did not help. Any ideas?

I have Elements 13,  Windows 10.  Backup stops before complete.  No notification as to why. (Last one was 79%).  I have 500 gb drive I am backing up to so space is not the problem.  Anyone know what I can try? Thanks, Mike

Ich mußte Elements 2021 von meinem Rechner deinstallieren. Ich habe die Software über Amazon gekauft und mich bei Adobe registriert und den Aktivierungscode sowie die Seriennummer erhalten. Leider kann ich die Software über Amazon (Games und Software Bibliothek) nicht neu installieren, da der dort angegebene Link nicht funktioniert. Eine Neuinstallation scheitert auch am Fehler 81, der besagt, ich solle erst das Installationsprogramm beenden, das im Hintergrung läuft (im Hintergrund läuft kein Progarmm von Adobe). Ich habe den Rechner neu gestartet, Ergebnis ist das gleiche.Wer weiß Rat?

There will always be issues with popular software. Yet that kinda triggered me to do what I'm about to do, but please don't pick this up thinking that it should all be perfect and such... stuff happens, and when it does contact support or ask here. So ... Around 2019 I decided that I didn't enjoy the update cycle of 'The Gimp' and considering the fact that Photoshop is a de-facto standard that's where I went. Worked fine with Big Sur, app is unresponsive and wont open

I am working on 4 different photos that I want to print on separate pieces of paper. I don't want to print them serially, however, because I'm using a different type of photo paper for each one.When I go to print one of them, the print dialogue screen shows me all the photos open in the photo bin, on the left. In the center of the dialogue, there's only one photo shown.But, when I hit Print, all 4 photos print. I figure there must be something in settings telling it to do this, but I don't know what or where to find it. Is it PSE thing, or something with my printer?Thank you very much. 

Hi, I hope someone can help. I was going through some older pictures that I took in a wooded area that had a carpet of bluebells. However the photos i took dont do it justice and the flowers dont look anywhere near as bright and colourful. Is there anything that I can do to bring out the blue of the thousands of flowers, without affecting the other colours ?Thanks for any advice
