Photoshop Elements

After the lastest upgrade (3/19/21), the photoholder won't move.  I've had Elements for years and know to uncheck Center Image, etc.  The crossbar and the hand icon both move the image but not the bounding box.  Therefore only the part of the image that remains in the bounding box (photoholder) gets printed. I regularly use this function and so am paralyzed until I find a solution.   Thanks.

I have a HP Envy TE01-1020 (whose specs far exceed what's needed to run PSE) and do photo editing on Photoshop Elements 18 (2020).  I want to replace the PC's integrated GPU with a dedicated card.  I speaking with HP, they said that they had conflicting information about the interaction between PSE and the PC when there are two cards present.  Anyone know about this potential problem?  I'm really not sure if there would be a problem as I've been told that if I add a new card to my 10th gen 7i CPU, the integrated card would automatically be disabled??? ich hänge jetzt schon ein paar Stunden im Nichts. Alle Aufforderungen vom Systemaktualisieren etc. hab ich nun schon mehrfach gemacht. Das System ist nachweislich in Ordnung und aktuell. Aber beim Updateversuch bei 5% kommt die Fehlermeldung FEHLERCODE 131 und ich kann nur abbrechen. Aber dann bin ich komplett raus, fange von vorne an und hänge an der gleichen Stelle. Wer kann mir hier bitte den entscheidenden Hinweis geben, was ich tun muß? 

Ich habe gerade Photoshop Elements gekauft und dafür auch eine Bestätigung mit Seriennummer erhalten.Unter Bestellungen und Rechnungen im Konto wird mir das Produkt zwar angezeigt, aber ohne Rechnung und Download-Möglichkeit. Seit kurzer Zeit werden die Profilbilder bei Personenstabeln bei der Personensuche in  Premiere Elements Organizer 2020 nicht mehr angezeigt.Selbst wenn ich einer Personen (bekannt) ein Profilbild manuell zuordne wird es nicht angezeigt (die bestätigten Gesichter werden nach etwas längerer Ladezeit als vorher angezeigt). Das macht es für mich unmöglich unbekannte Gesichter Personen zu zu ordnen! (Problem siehe Bild (Möglicher Grund: Ich habe wegen Anzeige Fehler der Ordner im Windows Explorer den Minaturansichtcache gelöscht ... was eigentlich keine Auswirkugen auf Ements haben dürfte ...). Danke für die Hilfe 🙂 

When I turn on my laptop one of the first things to pop up on the screen is an error message for Photoshop Elements 2021 which says - The code execution cannot proceed because icuuc58.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix the prooblem.- I did uninstall and reinstall the program but the message reappeared when I started the laptop and again when I opened up Elements 2021. Has any experienced this and if so is there a solution?

I have installed Photoshop Elements and Premiere 2021 but Organizer does not work. The cursor disappears, you can see functions like archive etc light up a bit when touched by the cursor but the functions are not accessible but for closing in upper right hand corner. Running resolution 2560*1600 (new computer) but when asked by support to go down to 1200*800 it seemed to work.?Running W10 ver 20H2. Any suggestions? I have uninstalled, booted an reinstralled once with no change. Very puzzling is that that if I have the intro screen (Where you choose to access Organizer, Photoshop or Premiere) open on top of organizer and then move the cursor to organizer (with the intro still on top) the I can access Import and get choices but with delay, Other options are not accessible but I can see that they are in focus.

I recently purchased a Mac mini M1 (8/512) and I plan to store files and Catalogs on a drive located in a USB-C Docking Hub similar to this. I am weighing pros and cons of M.2 ($$$), SSD, and HDD SATA drives to put in it. 2tb should do the trick. I am concerned about the heat generated by the drives since they will be in close proximity to the M1.  Thunderbolt is just a little $$$ for me at this time. Currently using PSE and Premier 2020. I have about 25k photos and video files which are currently on my Mac mini 2012 that I upgraded SSD's and memory 4 yrs ago. Of course I have multiple external BU's.  After many years this will be the 1st time that I will be working with PSE files stored on an ext drive instead of my main SATA. Recommendations and suggestions welcomed. Thank you for your consideration.                                                   &

I wish to place captions on images. The captions are all Polish place names which have accents on various letters both in capital and lower case form. In Word I can type ALT + number to get correct character. Via the online chat facility, I am informed that they cannot help meunless I upgrade my version of Elements! This cannot be a unique problem. Can anyone provide a simple answer?

I have been using PE 14 for many years now on my computer through a pre-purchase plan that I got in 2015. Recently, whenever I try to open photoshop, it says that I have to put my serial number back in to re-activate the product, but when I try this it gives me an error saying the product has been activated on too many computers. I have only activated it on two computers(which is the limit for the product), but it still gives me thsi error. I no longer have the laptop that I activated photoshop on for the second activation and there is no way that I can find to deactivate any of the accounts that adobe thinks I have access to. Is there a way that I can still use this program or try to remotely deactivate any computers linked to this product so I can try the serial number activation again?

My hard drive failed but I had an external back up drive that was used to reinstall all my saved data. This included trail cam videos and photos I never loaded into my Elements 14 Organizer.   I then installed Elements 2020 and began to delete the unwanted files.  However I now get the following message for the trail cam videos and many of the other photos :"Analysis is currently running on the selected media.  Please try again after some time."I have tried several times but I still get the same message.  I also tried to install the 2020 undates but that failed too.  I am guessing that must have something to do with the "analysis currently running" message.Thanks for your help.Mark 

Photoshop is the most versatile software used by the designers but working on it can be difficult sometimes. There can be multiple errors such as “An Unknown or Invalid JPEG Marker Type is Found” that we face in Photoshop. Not being able to edit or enhance my valuable photos with special effects in Photoshop is not only frustrating but can also affect the quality of my work. So here, I need a ffective solutions to fix the unknown or invalid JPEG marker error.    

Can I Run PhotoShop Elements 6 on Windows 10 64 bit- is it out of the qustion- or do I have to do something special- or can I just simply install from my CD ?

Hi - I have PS Elements 12 and would like to know what fonts were bundled with it. I've added some over the years but would like to know which are covered by Adobe's license for commercial use. Is there a list somewhere? The Adobe agent on the phone couldn't direct me to one because they no longer support PSE 12.

The PSE 9 Organizer won't start - the error message is below.  The PSE 9 Editor starts with no problem.  This is the first time I attempted to use PSE 9 after restoring images.  PSE 9 lives on the C: drive; my catalog and images are on the I: drive.  The original I: drive was defective; I replaced it and restored the files.  I'm running Win10.   Any help would be appreciated. Jon.

I'm running out of room on my desk top hard drive. I want to place all the photoshop stuff on an external hard drive and delete all of the images on the desk top. What is the procedure to move everything to the external hard drive and still retain people identification, time, place, etc.

Recently my version of PS Elements 2021 was updated and now the app opens with an annoying homescreen . Look, I just want to get to work editing my photos. I don't want to be asked what I want to do today and I certainly do not need buttons trying to upsell me to another Adobe product. I just want the application to open in expert mode and I'll open or create my own files, thank you. I would think there'd be a checkbox in the general setting to disable the homescreen but I can't find one. Please help. Also, for years it has been perfectly normal for Mac users to be able to drag an existing file onto the Elements icon in the dock to open it. The most recent update has also resulted in my not being able to drag files from my desktop onto the Elements icon in the mac dock to open. I now have to right click on the file on the desktop and choose the app that I want to open the file with. This is clumsy. Please help. Thank you.

Help!  I have a new Nikon ZFC and I cannot open RAW files in Elements 2021.  I have the latest update, and I have even uninstalled and re-installed Elements.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Hello, I work on an old .psd image created years ago, and using a text line with Bahnschrift Condensed font, and I can't see this font in the list in PhotoShop Element 2020. This free to use font is provided in Windows 10.I tried to reinstall the whole font family, but still not visible in PSE20. This font is visible (and usable) in ALL other applications on my PC. Just PSE20 app can't show/use it. I just can see the Bahnschrift Regular, with no option to use Condensed or other styles (semicondensed, light, semibold...) PSE Fonts list : List of installed Bahnschrift fonts family on my PC : Whole Bahnschrift font family visible in OpenOfficeOrg for example : Any idea ?

With the latest build of PSE 2021, the process to open the Editor is too long. First, you have to click on PSE 2021 which opens the Home screen with various creative options and a list of recent files. From that screen, you can choose the Organizer, the Photo Editor, or the Video Editor. Nearly always, I will want to load the Editor, so it takes another click to select it and a LONG wait for the Editor to open. I'd like to be able to directly open the Editor workspace and bypass the home screen. Is this possible? I liked the earlier versions with the Organizer and the Editor shown with separate icons you could choose.

Is it possible to make a partial selection for export? The grey slider at the top only changes timeline render for me. thx

I am having a heck of a time importing photos from my iphone to my Elements 2020.  It doesn't show all photos, it shows photos that have already been imported.  I just want a nice way to import my iphone photos into Elements to organize them all.  If there is a better way, please let me know as I'm super frustrated.  I even have a new Dell laptop and this is still happening. I end up spending HOURS and HOURS fixing it.

Good Evening All, I am using PSE 2021, and am in the process of adding tags to my photos and videos (about 95,000 total). This is going to takes several days.  If my understanding is the correct, tags which are added in the Organizer only appear in the context of the Organizer, and do not stay in the metadata for the photo or video when it is viewed using another program, such as in Windows. Assuming that this is the case, I would like to use the 'Save Metadata to File' feature in PSE2021 to save the data permanently in the tagged photos and videos.  My questions related to this are: 1. Should I save metadata to files  in batches as I go along, rather than wait until I finish tagging all 95,000 of the photos and videos? I an concerned that if I wait, and my Catalog gets corrupted before the metadata is saved, then I will lose eveything that I have done. It takes quite a long time to tag everything, even with the face recognition feature.  2. If I

Good Afternoon, I have been selecting folders one by one to select all photos in them at one time and then tagging all of the photos with the same year. Since I have a lot of folders, is there some way to select multiple folders which contain photos from the same year, e.g., 2006, and then tag them all at the same time? I have tried clicking more than one folder while pressing either the Shift, Alt, or Ctrl keys, but I am still only able to select one folder at a time. Thanks. Jon

A couple of weeks or so ago, I was able to use Photoshop Elements 2020 just fine. More recently, though, I've tried to load the app from the startup window, only to see the "Loading Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace..." pop-up for about a minute and then show no sign of starting. Premiere, on the other hand, is working without any problems. Does anyone know of another case like this and how I might be able to fix it? Thanks.
