Photoshop Elements

I want to print the user manual for PSE 2018 but I can't find a printable version.  In the past Adobe has made a pdf version available, but it does not appear to be the case with this new edition.  Is there one available now and if so, where?  Is there ever going to be a printable version available?  Thanks for any help about this.

I have a Huawei Matebook Pro from 2018. It has a dedicated 2gb Nvidia MX150 card in it. But Photoshop Elements 2020 only seems to detect the integrated Iris as the 'gpu'. I cannot seem to figure out how to get the GPU to work with Photoshop here. Like when I pinch to zoom for example it doesn't scroll smoothly, it's so choppy. My Macbook from 2012 is way smoother. Any suggestions? When I go into preferences it only gives me GPU tweak settings for facial features, and even there it doesn't detect the MX150.

Hello,I have an issue with Photoshop elements since last week and its very annoying to work arround.When i insert a text field and starting typing, i dont see the text until i finishing typing, then click somewhere else and wait a bit.This is also the case when for example i make a selection on a photo, then i dont see the selection bars until i click on the cursor in the tool bar Since i use photoshop elements alot for videos this is very annoying for me 😞(i also tested this on the trial 2021 version and i have the same issueWhat i already triedpreferences => general => reset preferences on next launchreinstalled the 2020 versioninstalled the 2021 version same issueI also googled this and some say its with gpu acceleration, but as far as i know elements doens,t do thisTried to make an image of the issue in paint.   

Hi friends,I am having problem with my clone stamp. I have Photoshop elements 2020.Clone stamp functions well with my left side alt+click of the keyboard.On the right side of key board, if I press alt+click, I get a black arrow head symbol as shown in the attachment.I did resetting the tools and also under preference -I reset the setting but no use.Even fresh re-installing of PE 2020 did not help!Can you help me please.Thank you in advance.Mickams

Upgraded from photoshop/ premiere elements 8 to 14 jan 2016.  Have had problems since and no time to troubleshoot.  Currently elements won't open.  The Organizer will open but when the editor is clicked on the program will not open.  same thing happens when I click on a photo and click 'open with'.  I've reinstalled the program 3 times without resolution.  Is there not actual adobe support for this product? Windows 7, 64 bit

I recently bought Photoshop for myself so I could have it on my laptop instead of using my stepdad's computer to edit photos. I am used to using the Guided section to achieve the editing I do and am used to the layout of Guided on his computer. But for some reason, all the tools and categories are along the right side of the screen, while on my version the tabs are on the top of the screen and there are pictures of the tools or "edits" that the tools do. I find the interface I have too busy for my liking and wish to return to the simple tabs and drop downs on the right side of the screen and being able to see my photo at all times while going through the tools. I am unsure what version his Photoshop is, but even then I am unsure how to even revert the version I have on my laptop. Any help would be appreciated, I hope I explained my problem clearly. 

I have a new computer with Big Sur and I can't get into adobe without registering my serial number, but there are just 6 boxes and my serial number has 24.  Any help?

Hello, can somebody answer this for me please? I have PSE 16 and want to upgrade to 2021.  Does it over-ride 16 or will I have both 16 and 2021. Second question:  I have A LOT of actions installed in PSE 16, will the updated 2021 automatically pick these up or do I have to load all the actions into 2021? Thanks for any and all help.  

When I try to download the update it just goes nowhere for hours.  So I get a message to update every time I use PSE.  Any advice for downloading on a slow internet (without driving into the "big city") or getting rid of the message.  Thank you.

Hey,I recently upgraded my PC and thus set up Windows completely new. That also meant reinstalling all the old Software, e.g. Photoshop and Premiere Elements 15. I have entered my serial number and first, it was accepted without any problems. But on the next start, suddenly a Window appeared: "The Serial Number XXX is already used by the maximum amount of computers..." Now since I reinstalled windows, I can't access my old PC anymore. I searched through the forums, that supposedly should be able to remove all active computers somewhere, but I just can't find the link. I have looked on the helppage "Activating and Deactivating Licenses" but I just can't find the link. How can I get all my registered PCs out of this?Thanks for any help in advance!

What is a good way to drag images from the photobin into a blank canvas without the image taking up the whole background/layer? I tried resizing the image beforehand but inserting the image into the blank canva causes the iamge to take up the same size? The goal of my prpoject is to drag and drop several smaller resized images into a larger canvas size.

I had a working Photoshop Elements 11 that could open the RAW files from my Lumix camera. Yesterday, I accepted an update of I don't know what, and this morning Photoshop can't open the RAW files anymore. Any clue / solution to what appenened ?

I was doing a lot of closeup spot healing, moving around the screen using space bar and mouse when I found this on screen, suddenly, out of nowhere.I am editing a TIFF file directly, no layers.  It's not just a display issue because if I save teh file the overlays atre saved too.It's happened a few times now.  Any ideas what causes it please?

After considerable work all morning on Photoshop Elements, and before having safegarded this work, Photoshop Elements suddenly disappeared from the screen of my PC. When I reopened the programme all the work of this mornung had disappeared. Are there  any possiblilties to retrieve it?

 I have recently purchased and successfully installed a PSE2021 upgrade to my PSE2015 and it all appears to be working perfectly. My question is can I uninstall 2015 and remove it from my hard drive, or is it still needed for the upgrade to work?

I have an image opened in Photoshop Elements 2020. I am attaching a photo of the image size. I need to print the image in portrait and image size 4 x 6. I don't have any 4 x 6 print paper, it will print on regular 8 x 11 matte paper. I have tried changing the image settings to 4 x 6 and to portrait but the result is only part of the image.https://1drv.ms/u/s!AoINWpJYOS0agfBSh0tJI9R0WqZECg?e=mvi1uD

I seem to have succeeded in removing all photo files and folders from the Organizer. However, I did get the message "Clear applied filter and try again" when it said "No Media Available." I read Community posts and found that if I want to import photos or see ones I want to see, I should check the boxes in View  Media Types and, perhaps, View Timeline.  But if I want to keep my photos deleted. Then I want to re-import "good" ones from an external hard drive or card reader. Before doing that, I assume that I should make sure the  View Media Types and View Timeline boxes are checked. Am I right?

Why can't I join 3 simple images together to make one larger image without getting the warning..........could not complete the move command because the result would be too big.........? My image setting is set to a max of 30,000 pixels, but I have resized these images to the same total or even under the 30,000 pixel limit and Photoshop still prevents me from doing this.  Sometimes it even prevents me from putting just one image in the blank file even though it has been resized to well under blank file settings. I have read it is something to do with pc Ram.  But my spec is Windows 10 - i7 - Ryzen7 8 core - 32gb Ram - Geforce 1660 TI 6gb graphics. So I would have thought no problem. The images are png's.  My Adobe is Photoshop Elements 13. Can anybody help please.

Hello, my question in short: How is it possible to batch-remove metadata (IPTC keywords) from files? Background, example workflow / situation:1. Tag files and save the metadata to the files.2. Find out later that a couple of tags are less than ideal, slightly change them in the catalog and save to file.3. What then happens is, that the original less-than-ideal tag is stored together with the new, better one in the file, which on the one hand I can understand that this makes sense in some way, but on the other hand though, this is in a higher sense obviously undesired, and does, on top of it, also not correspond to the situation in the catalog, where there is not the old and the new tag, but only the new.4. My solution to this situation was trying to remove als IPTC keywords first, and then re-store the new. Which should work, as the tags in the catalog and well-semicolon-separated IPTC keywords should be equivalent, I think. Only drawback are then performance-concerns wh

Hi, After losing all my photo folders in Picasa (which I have now removed from my computer) I have managed to retrieve them from my hard drive and loaded them into Photoshop Elements 11. I have dozens of duplicate photos but when I run the "find duplicate photos" section all it does is load the "similar photos" section. How can I remove all the duplicates?

If I try to use a pattern brush it shows cutoff lines like a non-seamless pattern. Is this usual? Thanks for any help or suggestions. This happens regardless of brush size.

I have done a search in this forum and haven't had success in finding what I need. I am not looking, at this point, to review my entire catalog for duplicates, only one folder with maybe 150 pictures. When I click on Find/ Duplicates, what I would *expect is that it would go through the 150 and, where there are duplicates, place them side by side so I could review and determine which one to keep and which to delete. (From other discussions in this forum, I imagine someone is going to ask why I want to do that. The answer is, the duplicates are not only in the catalog (where they could be -- I think the term is -- "stacked" and thus out of mind) but they are also in the folder on the hard disk where I keep these photos. I want to identify them and delete them there, too.) Now, back to my question: when I click on Find/Duplicates, *nothing like what I expect appears. In fact, it is very confusing. Is there guidance someone can point me to that would show how to accomplish this?

I have been trying to open my elements 13 on my MacBook and it for no reason states there is an error and I was signed out unexpectedly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software and nothing changes. I'm using big Sur operation system that is fully uptodate. I thought of trying an upgrade but it appears I have to pay full price to do so. Any ideas how to get this working again ? Thanks.
